I'm really surprised by the blind royalty showing to ally, what difference will a year make? The guy can't manage.

Give him a year with his own signings then make judgment. Think he deserves that

Well he managed to get us out of the 3rd division and he's managed to get six top class signings to join us. I think he'll manage just fine.

@op how is it blind loyalty the guys been slaughtered on every fan site only difference this season there's no excuses it his team on the park not the sh*te he had to pick from last season

Out of division 3, yes, losing at home to division 3 clubs, yes, you happy with that.

6 top class signings, no, I remember the days when rangers were signing top class players like de boer, arteta, cueller, now its guys like law, bell, clarke, kevin kyle and ian black.

also was black, sandanza, goian, bocangra, ortiz, kevin kyle, matt mkay etc not also mcoists sigining, and he's been in charge for 2 years.

It saddens me when so many Gers fans are happy to accept the rubbish Ally has produced. This record as Rangers manager is appalling and most of his signings have been woeful. With the resources Ally had it was harder not to win the 3rd division but the whole campaign was littered with bad performances and shocking football. His record in the cups is atrocious and his tactics non existent. He isn't the answer going forward and there is no way we will win the SPL with him in charge

At 6, how can u class boca and Goian as bad signings? They were very good for us in the spl. And your also forgetting a couple of good ones, like Wallace, aluko and re-signing andy little.

I genuinely honestly believe I personally could have got that Rangers team promoted out of the 3rd division last season. To list that as some kind of achievement with a multi million pound wage budget against part time players on £50-£100 a weeks is embarrassing and pathetic. You could genuinely have just winged it, went in the dressing room before the games and rolled off a few football cliches to the players and they are so much higher standard players they would have won the majority of the games possibly relying on the likes of big JIG to have an influence over his team mates on the park. Maybe just scrape the title but I would get there nonthless. The fact Ally sweated the whole season and gave it his all and THAT is all he could produce on the park tells you everything. I mean, we failed to win in ten matches against part timers! 2 defeats and 3 draws AT IBROX! Pathetic.

@1 a year? The next excuse will be that he only signed players on free transfer and he needs another year after he has had funds to buy players. Pre-administration we blew a 15 point lead. The turmoil hid his tactical inadequacy. Legend as a player but with his old pals act as his back room team we will never challenge at the top level.
