Good to see the Warburton interview. He was questioned on the contract talks between himself and the board; simply said they were too busy at that time and aim to continue in the next few days.

Also saying Bell is a very capable number two goalkeeper was the nicest way I've heard anyone say a keeper is shite.

21 Jun 2016 23:17:07
The man just oozes class. Love his interviews.

21 Jun 2016 23:29:50
Rafbob i like the way mw does these interviews, never let's anyone bully him into saying to much, he keeps his cards very close to his chest, and is very polite, id blow a fuse if diffrent people kept firing questions at me.

22 Jun 2016 02:51:02
I'd be exactly the same as you Bigjoh85!

He is very good with media, always gives appropriate response and doesn't swerve a question but as you say never reveals more than he should.

Couldn't honestly ask for a better manager than Warburton.

Whoever follows him will have big shoes to fill if he continues the way he's began.

22 Jun 2016 10:49:33
Your right Rafbob, it's hard to find fault in MW. I understand he hasn't won anything major yet but if he can deliver the title either this year or next he will be a legend for the way he has transformed us. The way he conducts himself has brought our entire Club kicking and screaming into the 21st Century. I think his legacy and playing style will remain at Ibrox long after his departure, or at least I hope it will.
Next year is shaping up to be one of the best in a long time. I'm not Rodgers's biggest fan but he will have them playing better Football, whether it's a winning brand of it is yet to be seen yet as it's not really his forte. Either way it's going to be good to watch them battle it out and I think we could be in for some cracking derbies with actual Football on display for the first time in a long time.
Wish the SFA could appoint somebody with a bit of foresight like MW and then we wouldn't be watching all the Big tournaments in our living rooms.

21 Jun 2016 22:20:52
Just a quick question is anyone aware of what is happened to wee king I take it he's not coming back thought he was a good player for us hope he gets a start with hearts.

21 Jun 2016 23:08:25
My personal view is that while he is a decent player we have better. At the same time I would have thought that Hearts will be happy to have him as part of their top team squad.

21 Jun 2016 23:09:29
I heard on here that a fee couldn't be agreed between us and hearts, he was apparently disappointed with that though?

21 Jun 2016 23:11:38
Returned to hearts, aparently no interest from us. Heard he might be leaving hearts to another spl team.

21 Jun 2016 21:17:59
If its a straight choice between the two goalies we're being linked to signing which one would we prefer fellow bears, david bentley v michael mcgovern? Both out of contract and available for nowt! They both are very good goalkeepers!

21 Jun 2016 21:39:42
Bentley for me, a think Wes is as good as McGovern. Bentley would be no1.

21 Jun 2016 21:49:22
Bentley. He's worth 3-4 million down south development fee. We would only pay 250 grand max. Supposed to be the real deal.

21 Jun 2016 22:02:10
2 goalies would fit the mould and capable. whoever wants to play for the gers gets my vote.

21 Jun 2016 23:09:43
Both would oust Wes as number one and while McGovern is a very good keeper, Bentley is a very good keeper with a significant sell on value!

21 Jun 2016 23:16:07
Longer term and for value bentley but mcgoverns really in his prime and i think he could be be a great gers goalie for the next few years. Both will have other good offers i think though.

22 Jun 2016 00:26:48
McGovern came through Celtic youth, so i wouldn't be totally confident with him in between the sticks in an old firm match, Bentley for me.

21 Jun 2016 23:26:32
Bentley is fantastic and will only get better. Everyone in Southend wanted him to stay.

21 Jun 2016 21:10:16
According to news now my says three to four players still required and hopefully three will sign this week, another sites says Taylor mcgovern and Cummings?

22 Jun 2016 03:07:11
Got a feelin that Warbs ain't going to buy a striker, but instead bring one or two in on loan. I don't think that just because we have X amount of cash available that Warbs will buy someone for 500k-1m because that's what we can afford but instead go for someone from a top team who's potential/ valuation is far far more, I really do think that he has a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to our front line. Every manager would love to buy a striker who has pace, ability and will burst a gut to hit the net but someone like that is going to cost 5m plus. At the moment we have Wags and Hardie I also think Windass will be used in that position imo but we need something! and a young hungry talented striker from one of the top 4 is on the cards. Remember reading about Warbs having close connections to Man City, Chelsea as well as the rest and he was down at their academy's, our midfield is looking strong and I think that whoever is chapping on the door of the first team at these clubs will arrive at Ibrox and I think it will be exciting. I think 2 strikers will arrive via the loan route, can't see anyone out there who's going to be out of contract, good enough and if there is we won't be alone in tryin to get them and we're up against it financially! Unless Warbs has his eye on someone from overseas an unknown! Really do not want to be bringing the likes of someone like Graham. Oh and btw can someone tell me how many loans we're allowed in a season, think it's 5, so can see 3-4 coming in so come Jan we have options, and yeah I know we got Mr Miller and the guy played a blinder last season but still think 2 strikers on loan comin and hope Hardie gets a chance.

21 Jun 2016 20:42:10
By the looks of things MWDW's best appointment has been Frank McParland. Guys done some magnificent business with little to no funds. If Warbs is a magician then this guys Gandalf!

21 Jun 2016 21:00:26
Couldn't agree more three more signings and hopefully a couple of youngsters on loan and we will be looking good.

21 Jun 2016 21:13:48
I agree I've said it before every one is saying it's important we keep warbs here as long as we can,
it's also important we keep mc p his knowledge of English talent is up there with the best.
we have mist a good manager over the years but a scout with his abilities is vital bringing in quality is a must.
but to do that with out a penny is special and Rafa is trying to get him down to Newcastle.
just hope he's here for the long run a man well deserving of a wage unlike others who have sponged off our club.

21 Jun 2016 21:14:36
Ed have you heard anything about Rafa trying to bring mc p to Newcastle.

{Ed001's Note - no mate, Newcastle already have that dept stocked. Charnley is not popular amongst the fans, but he is popular with Ashley.}

21 Jun 2016 20:21:20
Based on tonight's performance, I'd be delighted if we can sign McGovern. Would provide the competition we need and would certainly be challenging for No.1.

21 Jun 2016 21:42:24
A think he will have plenty of offers could be a struggle to get him now.

22 Jun 2016 08:18:22
aye mcovern will not be short of offers I am surprised neither Dundee utd or Aberdeen didn't take him.

21 Jun 2016 20:04:25
Warburton spoken on official website says he still expect us to bring in another gk, 1 or 2 defenders and a striker. I personally am hoping for Michael mcgovern (outstanding against the gerrys tonight) mariappa and Curtis Nelson in defense and ideally but probably out of our budget 'the man on fire' will grigg.

21 Jun 2016 20:25:08
The man on fire who hasn't scored and people seem to want him just so they can sing a song. What else I find funny is how a couple of weeks ago someone else mentioned McGovern and got slaughtered for it because Hamilton conceded so many goals.

21 Jun 2016 20:32:44
The man on the bench you mean! lol but seriously would love him to sign along with mcgovern.

21 Jun 2016 19:57:17
On rangers website from Warburton

"We're looking at adding another goalkeeper to the ranks to again increase competition. Another defender, maybe two defenders coming in and we'll look at a striking option"

Looking good.

21 Jun 2016 21:03:42
That's exactly what I was wanting. Hopefully Marriapa, Bentley, another RB for cover and an out and out striker and I'd be delighted.

21 Jun 2016 19:55:44
The bears den 😊.

21 Jun 2016 23:19:39
That's what I suggested too.

21 Jun 2016 18:44:22
I'd take absolutely any of the Northern Ireland team even lafferty.

21 Jun 2016 19:08:57
Really can't see us get the keeper now pitty tho played great proper stopper.

21 Jun 2016 23:13:07
McGovern has been one of the best goalkeepers at the competition so I reckon we will have a difficult job to sign him. He would certainly need assurances that he would be the Number!

21 Jun 2016 18:49:12
Mcgovern and Lafferty would do me . but your right would take any of them!

21 Jun 2016 20:49:32
Nonsense. If Germany ran up the cricket score that they should have, would you say the same? Or is it just because its NI?

21 Jun 2016 18:25:31
Get McGovern signed pronto.

21 Jun 2016 18:43:12
I agree just showing how good a keeper he is with a decent defensive line in front of him definitely get him signed up NOW!

21 Jun 2016 18:36:30
100% would be a great signing, I actually think Lafferty would give us another option as well!

21 Jun 2016 18:10:08
I think we should get that Michael McGovern signed up . He is having a great game, looks like he would do us a real turn.

21 Jun 2016 18:18:10
After this performance he will be a wanted man.

21 Jun 2016 17:31:22
Luigi, excuse me but how is me saying as a joke and a commonly used term " glass half empty " saying anything about anyone's disability. That's crazy don't know you personally, and I don't create conspiracy theories I just ask questions with a hint of jest. Didn't know this form was like question time on t. v all serious. Everyones entitled to there opinion, you certainly give out yours more than most.

Please don't ever say I have somehow offended disabled people, with a very normal comment, especially if it's a forum.
All you were trying to do was daemonize me, honestly Luigi I'm not that stupid.

21 Jun 2016 16:48:32
Where can I purchase the fans Rangers top someone send me a link and also do they sell kids?

{Ed001's Note - I would hope they do not sell kids! That would be a violation of international law. Human trafficking that is!}

21 Jun 2016 17:05:55
There are times I'd quite happily sell my kids lol.

21 Jun 2016 17:23:38
Ya beat me to it chelt.

21 Jun 2016 16:43:42
hows about -

"The davie Cooper academy ".

21 Jun 2016 17:24:34
What a fantastic suggestion.

21 Jun 2016 18:11:25
Waldo's World.

21 Jun 2016 18:19:36
The Davie Cooper School of Excellence.

21 Jun 2016 18:20:25
I suggested the "Davie Cooper Campus" myself. Either of those would be great I reckon!

21 Jun 2016 19:02:45
As long as they get rid of the name Murray it's fine by me. Davie Cooper has to be the most popular suggestion by far though.

21 Jun 2016 20:26:42
The wonga academy, since most things that come out of it well be loans to other teams.

22 Jun 2016 10:26:48
I suggested the following
1) the Davie Cooper Memorial Park
2) John Grieg Park
3) 1872 Ground.

22 Jun 2016 11:06:48
STRUTH ACADEMY
Lets teach the history the values and standards as well.

21 Jun 2016 16:19:43
Super coops centre.

21 Jun 2016 15:48:01
dave king is open for suggestions in the renaming of murray park ; naming it after legends!
I have submitted the gazza plaza as one suggestion and super ally pally as another lol anyone else got some good suggestions please some with a bit of a ring to it!

21 Jun 2016 16:02:30
Iv always thought 'Luigi park' had a nice ring to it.

On a more serious note hasn't it already been renamed to remove the Murray name?

21 Jun 2016 16:08:49
The davie Cooper academy.

21 Jun 2016 16:09:54
Slim Jims' gym.

21 Jun 2016 16:43:07
The lions den. Blue fever pitch.

21 Jun 2016 17:35:53
What about that remarkable chap who described it as the BIG Hoose what about the BIG HOOOSE Academy.

21 Jun 2016 18:46:36
The peoples park
The peoples academy.

21 Jun 2016 21:15:29
COOPER PARK.

21 Jun 2016 15:32:55
Anyone heard an update how season ticket sales are doing since they went on public sale today?

I eventually got 2 today but not without difficulty that ticket office number is a nightmare, 13p per min and get cut off when you press option 1!

21 Jun 2016 16:58:13
I'm with you aldogers on that phone fiasco! Got my mobile bill in for May and had spent £20 on phoning trying to get tickets for the cup final! Telephone system is a joke. And never got a ticket even though had not got one in the ballet for the Celtic game either. As for the season tickets I really think the club should be upping the anti on the advertising for more of us to take season tickets so that Me Warburton could get some more transfer budget which could make the difference when going for 55.

21 Jun 2016 14:40:05
sorry if I seem thick but does response #2 mean that we are fighting with Ashley green and co in court over bad business deals that where made only to benefit them personally

if so does that mean we have a chance of getting these contracts thrown out and compensated for the time we have been in them.

everyone know what ashleys company is capable of after that roasting he took in the house of commons!

please sum1 tell me if i'm way off on that?

21 Jun 2016 14:50:35
Isn't the point of setting up/ buying a business to make personal gain.

21 Jun 2016 15:43:38
but when doing business transactions both parties should be represented in a way that both parties are bennifitted from dealing with the other not just one so!

unfair business deals are up for civil judgment or something like that lol.

21 Jun 2016 15:56:26
Ashley hasn't broken the law by taking advantage of the mess we were in.

If you actually watched the commons committee you would have seen he got off fairly lightly, just like Philip green.

There is more chance of him being able to sue us for breach of contract than vice versa.

He had a legally binding contract which we couldn't rip up so instead we have denied him access to our trademarks. Idea being he will no longer to be able to sell branded club goods making the retail deal worthless to him, with the hope he will back down and agree either to terminate or renegotiate. He won't do either.

What he will most likely do is wait for us to make the next move and try to set up a rival company which will have access to the trademarks, then true war will begin.

Anyone who knows this man says the same thing- he does what he wants.

21 Jun 2016 16:02:35
As a company director you are required to make deals etc. or the benefit of that company not to line your own pockets. So that is what we are taking civil action against our former directors. Not sure what we are doing with Ashley himself and sadly contracts are very seldom overturned.

21 Jun 2016 13:41:47
The prospect of signing James Vaughan hasn't exactly made me think, ya wee beauty, or even caused me to feel anything really except suspicion. Not really what we were after in terms of a striker however, if The Hat can work his magic then you never know. Had potential in his early career but has had some awful luck with injuries. Let's not judge yet.

21 Jun 2016 15:57:32
I hope this is just another wild rumour.

21 Jun 2016 12:49:43
We should go for Edgaras ÄŒesnauskis. He has been without a club since last year.

21 Jun 2016 12:53:34
does that not tell you something then.

we can do a hell of a lot better than him.

21 Jun 2016 12:58:46
I'm assuming your joking Swed?

21 Jun 2016 14:18:42
who? why hasn't he had a club? and why should we go for him?

21 Jun 2016 12:18:16
Good sensible reading from Dave King regarding our transfer policy. I think there is a genuine trust between board and management regarding who we bring in.
When we were in for MOH and all the doubters were saying there was no cash they were proved wrong but refused to admit it.
Now surely everyone can see that a mechanism is in place where Mcparland and MW identify a player and the Board do everything in there power to oblige, as long as it's worth it.
I for one did not envisage the likes of Barton and Kranjcar turning up this season. I would have been happy with players of Windass and Crook's ability coming in after what we've had over the last few years. The level of player and the professional manner in which they've been purchased gives me complete faith in the way we are being run now. Any nitpicking against DK must be recognised as that as the man has been true to his word and dragged this Club back into title winning contenders (SPFL that is) . Would love to hear Mullad, Ally etc take on our summer dealings? I'm not trying to start a war of words, I'd prefer it if the fans were all singing from the same sheet and backing the Club 100%. The time has come to put the past behind us and roar our team onto number 55, the Board are holding up their end.

21 Jun 2016 13:07:26
well said recbob they haven't failed us in anyway! and if anyone is less than gratefull they need look at where we where before king and co and where we are now!

21 Jun 2016 13:12:14
Settle down old chap. Let's not get too carried away and take an OBJECTIVE view on our transfers.

Crooks- prospect, but unproven at spl level. May be a good signing or may be a squad player. Needs time to develop.6/ 10

Windass- again a promising player but unproven at higher level. Highly rated but needs time to adjust and develop.8/ 10

Rossiter- in my opinion probably the best transfer of the summer. Needs time but has shown enough promise at Liverpool to suggest that he could develop into an excellent player.9/ 10

Barton- best player in English championship last season and club has done well to snap him up. In twilight if his career but should still have plenty to offer. A signing that has excited the fans.8/ 10

Hill- always been a solid dependable defender. If he is still fit he may offer something however I have major doubts about this one. We tend to defend with a high backline which could expose his lack of pace.6/ 10

In terms of the possible signing of Croatia midfielder- as long as he is still fit he could offer a lot. Problem is that there are major doubts over his fitness. Otherwise he would be a big signing for club and internationally probably the best known player. 7/ 10.

21 Jun 2016 13:30:25
I never said win it Luigi, only contend. Although for what it's worth I do think we'll win it with this squad plus a good striker. Celtic are nothing special, neither is Rodgers some miracle worker. Both of them are vastly over rated.
My point is people have been questioning this board's intentions right up till the end of the season. All I was asking was if they still felt this way given the way the manager has been backed. From where I'm standing it looks like every player he's wanted so far has been brought in. In fact everything within Dave Kings control has been rectified, and the stuff out with it has been at least faced head on.
Whilst I could always understand people's scepticism's, as the months have turned into a year I find it hard to fathom how people could still be questioning the direction the club is headed. Fair enough Barton, Hill and Niko are in the twighlight of their careers but all the signings have been of a high quality and a great mix of youth and experience. But most of all it's who the manager wanted.
On a side note I 100% agree that Rossiter could be the signing of the summer for £250k.

21 Jun 2016 15:59:30
Sorry recbob my comments were not really directed towards you (although see why you thought they are) , intended to be more general as there are some fans already awarding is the title before a ball is kicked.

21 Jun 2016 19:54:33
We need time, manager needs time, this is going to be a tough season, I'm happy so far with the signings looking good plenty of promise.

I've been reading and hearing the same "league in the bag".

Unfortunately its not going to be that easy. I think we will do well and will hope we win it but I'm not going to be naive.

Just hope we don't get on Warburton's back if we don't win it.

21 Jun 2016 11:55:09
Something made me curious yesterday, granted I'm probably reading to much into this, but you don't normally hear it, and makes me wonder if what will be my happiest signing of the season is in bad shape, Niko 's Lawyer quote said that it everything depends on his medical, to me I just find that strange because he is meant to be a pro athlete, u would think he would pass with flying colours, like I said maybe I'm reading to much into it.

21 Jun 2016 12:33:08
"everything depends on his medical" meaning he'll be at Rangers if his medical goes well. players can have hidden issues. If we find one of those hidden issues we might not want him.

21 Jun 2016 13:13:43
There are serious doubts over his fitness, he hasn't been able to play regularly since he left qpr. Sorry but this is the case, not saying he won't pass medical but it is a possibility.

21 Jun 2016 14:27:47
Funny that luigi, that's what all my Celtic fan friends are saying about NIKO, it's like there casting him off, he is a real talent and he's coming to Glasgow to prove it, I know he won't start every game, and W&W will know that, it will be the big games, he will be rotated with windass. Nobody will walk into this team, apart from maybe Wallace and Barton but if Niko has something to prove and he's coming into a team with the likes of Barton, we will see a gifted Niko. Seems so strange because when he played in the Epl I always looked at him and thought I wish we had that sort of player, and that was before the admin days.

Luigi sometimes your posts make me wonder who you really support, you may just be a glass half empty type guy or a Celtic fan in disguise 😂😂😂. We all know how obsessed they are with us, it really wouldn't surprise me lol.

21 Jun 2016 14:28:54
with warburton fitness ahs always been a major part of training.
No one including joey, clint or niko should expect to come in and be guaranteed a start if they aren't fit enough they won't play simple. the squad we had last year, as small as it was, faced spl teams and played them off the park including celtic so we already have a good squad and I trust warburton won't play anyone unless they prove they will put in 100% and play for nthe gersey.

21 Jun 2016 15:45:29
Jay! Seriously! I can see both sides of the coin, not just the one you want to see.

Your conspiracy theories are very amusing or very immature.

I was seriously injured in a car accident and have been left unable to walk and in constant pain so I take offence at your "glass half empty kind of guy" comments.

Grow up.

21 Jun 2016 17:15:26
And Luigi I take offence to people making out there victims of nasty comments to tragic accident. Glass half empty would only be a offensive comments if I had known you had a accident, so don't try and daemonize me

21 Jun 2016 11:44:51
Will Grigg is 6/ 4 to go to Celtic but 16/ 1 to go to Rangers so keeemon, hopefully that goes through.

21 Jun 2016 12:08:37
waste of money putting that bet on is he not celtic daft?

21 Jun 2016 13:14:36
That bet is almost as daft as his song.

21 Jun 2016 13:17:56
This the Will Grigg that can't get a game for NI? Another one season hype machine perhaps.

21 Jun 2016 15:46:50
I kind of wondered that myself infinity, he can't be that great if he can't force his way into NI team.

21 Jun 2016 11:39:25
Alright guys, regarding the ongoing fued with sports direct and not been able to buy tops etc, does no one else think we should try get all the bears buying the lion brand tops from rangers supporters trust all money back into the club plus some of the tops are cracking!

21 Jun 2016 12:10:23
where can I buy one mate?
that would defo be the way forward until this mess is sorted out!
get on to all the rangers forums and spread the word!

21 Jun 2016 13:04:32
Mike Ashley is shafting us and now we seem to be treating sponsors 32Red with disdain too.

21 Jun 2016 13:15:43
Iv got hundreds of tops, in all sizes. Send me your money and I'll post one straight out to you. Honest.

22 Jun 2016 11:28:21
Rangers Supporters trust at
a href="http://goo.gl/twaQjW">goo.gl/twaQjW

think it's like £32 odd for one actually really smart tops plus makes you feel better knowing that the money is helping the trust buy shares etc.

21 Jun 2016 11:35:48
We seen last season how great our passing football can be but now with a little bit more quality, strength and depth and experience we will see how good this football will be . if nico signs that is the key to a great midfield he is class and something that will enhance the team and to think we had a midfield of Hutton black Law shields temps what a difference a couple of years make.

21 Jun 2016 12:12:59
I feel sorry for temps he had all the potential in the world but is way too injury prone! niko I think will be a big hit at rangers!
what a bit of business we have done securing lee Wallace till 2019.

21 Jun 2016 12:23:54
Agree with James Stirling think Temps could have been a great signing for us. Sad that injuries ruined what could have been a good career.

21 Jun 2016 10:07:29
anyone think we should put in a bid for jonathan kodjia, the boy scored think it was 19 goals last season in the championship and could do a job up here I think! could cost a couple of million though.

I do think we should spend some money in that area.

21 Jun 2016 10:20:23
He signed for Bristol City fo £2.1million, He'd cost us £4.0million plus now.

21 Jun 2016 10:58:38
didn't know how much he signed for oh well that's that then isn't it! lol.

21 Jun 2016 12:07:38
When does his contract run out lol.

21 Jun 2016 13:14:50
2018 so another two seasons.

21 Jun 2016 09:37:11
Not really wanting Vaughn, doesn't excite might me one bit a guy who has had injury issue, and even when fit major scoring barren patches, we need a goal scorer, like a gem in the rough, I would take Bradshaw over Vaughn any day, at least he scored goals last season.

To me we have done some great business especially, rossister, Barton and my frav if signed tomorrow NIKO, but to finish this all off we need a leathal weapon in and around the box, we pay the wages off a injury prone guy that can't score. This is coming from big davie weir recommendation, as he seen Vaughn coming through the ranks as a kid, Vaughn now 27, and has had a goalless career. When was last time David was at Everton, must be at least a decade!

Vaughn reminds me off another player who came through ranks at Everton, massive things were expected, even got a great move. Francis Jeffers.

Bradshaw will cost us £1million and that is if we don't get caught up in a bidding war. Vaughan could do a job up here. Yes injury prone, however we managed to go through the vast majority of last season with very few injuries (Waghorn was unfortunate) I personally would prefer Bradshaw, however Warburton has a thing for taking players that aren't doing that good and turning them into something special, Waghorn, Tavernier, Forrester, Holt. If he can do the same for Vaughan then it will be a very good signing, good age, experience, good in the air and he is fast.

21 Jun 2016 10:51:57
Well I suppose you think he could do a job up here, but it's just to risky. Bradshaw at 1 million would be my choice all day long, I watched hi play and score last season and the boys got confidence, I know we seem to have a transfer policy of no transfer fee.

I just think his sell on value will make it worthwhile, you'd be lucky if Vaughn had a sell on value and that's even if he did keep injury free and scoring goals.
We must have some money some place lol, he's not out price range or shouldn't be!

I'd like to point out that Waghorn since 2010 had scored an average of 5 goals a season. To compare that to Vaughan who (barring this season) has an average of 10goals per seaon at a higher level.

I still would like the kid Bradshaw, I think he's going to go far.
I was probably more hoping he would go far with us. If we get Vaughn, and I actually believe he's a real possibility. Then I'll be first to say I was wrong if he starts banging them in. Only because I trust W&W and mcpartland.

I think the two of these are just names been thrown about by fans and the media. I personally think the striker we bring in will be of the same quality of Barton/ Niko. We would have signed Vaughan or Bradshaw already, both deals wouldn't be impossible to pull off.
I've heard rumours that the striker we're really chasing will suprise everyone in terms of quality in the same way Barton did. It makes more sense, why go after players of their quality for the midfield and then sign some underachieving striker? I'm confident MW and Mcparland have another ace up the sleeve.

21 Jun 2016 12:27:31
That's what I was told also, we're going after no underachievers and a Niko, Barton range striker, I was told this immediately after Barton signed, that we will be making a other statement of intent there too, but for the life of me don't have a clue who it could be.

21 Jun 2016 13:22:03
I think waghorn was good last season but in a lower league and a lot of his goals where penalties think we need a better quality striker beside him.

id even be happy if we where to sign adam rooney he bscored 19 goals for the sheep in 34 games think he could bang in a lot more for us.

21 Jun 2016 13:36:41
It does make more sense. The striker is the main man in any team, to blow all of our budget on Midfield and leave nothing for a genuine striker just doesn't seem like something the manager would do. Here's hoping anyway. This squad of ours has goals all over it though so I'm not too worried who else comes in. If the manager decided to go with Waggy, Miller, MoH and Hardie I won't be that disappointed.

Only thing is it's going to take a while to get through 2000 plus questions at a rate of 1 a day!

21 Jun 2016 13:22:42
DB
if you actualy read his post - he said he would group the questions into approx. 12 main subjects. He never said he would answer them all personally.
