What we all have to remember here is in january we will be signing players and hibs will prob lose a couple we will get stronger imo but can any1 please tell me what dean shiels brings to the team and y he is put on bout the same time everymatch give the young boy thompson a chance instead he looked hungry and keen the other week when he came on shiels is not rangers class.

22 Nov 2015 00:52:27
Absolute sick of the negativity. The lads try'd their best and didn't get the result that we wanted, It will will happen we will drop points, Just get behind the boys and roar us on next game!

22 Nov 2015 07:55:43
MW started this "negative" comparison with Hearts - with we are 1 point better than they were after Hibs result now it's continuing with "we only 1 point worse"!

Hearts aren't in this league - the worry is the recent record is poor - "the table doesn't lie" we were 11 points ahead of Hibs at the end of October.

We have not be playing or winning well recently.

Something has to change and quickly unless of course the goal of some fans is simply to be favourably compared with Hearts but would be happy with play-offs again!

22 Nov 2015 08:52:33
Rangers57 correct me if I'm wrong we've only lost 4 points so hibs must have had games in hand to be 11 points behind us. You seem to be implying we've threw away an 11 point lead which isn't true.

22 Nov 2015 10:42:39
Of course but it is all in the mind from their prospective they, Hibs are back from being 11 behind.

By the same measure Celtic came from 15 behind us to over take us at Christmas and win the league before we went down!

Games in hand are not worth anything until you win them remember last season for us - we didn't win them. Hibs have!

Clear point is Hibs are stringing the recent results together we are not.

Something needs to break this recent trend - hopefully we
can string two results together before Hibs play again maybe they will be off the boil when they play Falkirk, QofS and us in December.

22 Nov 2015 10:51:20
Ps - hooly78

We beat the "mighty" Alloa 4-0 at Ibrox - is that worthy of praise (part-time club etc) plus Falkirk beat them 5-0 the week or so later?

You can't really be happy with recent results - up to the manager to change things "luck" etc - can't keep saying we were unlucky and it will be ok?

22 Nov 2015 11:42:56
Can't be happy with recent results! We've only dropped 4 points I'm over the moon with are start to the season. So when we were beating teams by 4 5 and 6 goals u weren't happy cause they where part time teams.

22 Nov 2015 12:04:39
Ranger57 - I would take a 4-0 win over any team, part time not being what it was 30 years ago when all they did was a bit of shooty in practice. Remember we weren't beating these teams by that score last season for what it's worth.
We haven't had any serious problems with matches up until probably yesterday's result. I don't go to matches but from what I can gather the last time we played like a machine was the 4-0 win over Morton.

22 Nov 2015 17:24:27
Hooly78

A defeat and a draw equates to 5 points dropped. I think the recent criticism is justified as we have struggled in a number of games we won. The team isn't playing well and the 8 point lead has evaporated very quickly. Have to say very disappointed with the 2 loan signings from Arsenal and Spurs. Thought both would stand out in this league but neither has any end product. Think it speaks volumes for both that neither has scored yet in a very weak league.

22 Nov 2015 18:22:19
I have also been disappointed in the loanees, expected more and they haven't looked like scoring. Zelalem is a tidy passer of the ball, and more effective than Oduwa I feel, he doesn't do what a winger should.

22 Nov 2015 18:47:53
Still think if wee get a good striker in January we will win league. Now that the eustace debacle is over I expect us to bring in a strong holding midfielder as I said after hibs game I'd let the arsenal lad go back in January. I'd also give Thompson and hardy a run of games between now and January.

21 Nov 2015 23:33:41
In January we will be signing players. lol listen let's get real unfortunately we have to play the market. come January we may be weaker as lots players out contract and if we get bid for any of them there off. we don't have that many pounds to spend we have to play the market. if we get one in plus a loan were doing good.

22 Nov 2015 00:30:34
Scotty, unless we sell players we won't be signing anybody.

23 Nov 2015 21:53:46
Clowns zelalem has had 2 bad games since he arrived head an shoulders above what we have in midfield honestly you would think we were being outclassed week in week out the way you lot winge MW has only been in the job a few months and he has changed it for the better dramatically.

21 Nov 2015 20:37:28
Hooly, your response it to who's post!

21 Nov 2015 21:52:08
My response was to the post that said we've struggled against other teams and the critism of mw were only 1 point worse of than hearts where this time last season. and this year the league is stronger I think we only need a striker and a defensive midfielder to clinch the league. Mw has only had 1 transfer windows as well.

21 Nov 2015 19:00:30
Wheels off the magic bus for a moment! Lack of know how in breaking teams down, pass the ball to death but no end product and the opposing team are delighted when we get a corner - cause it is a disaster! Time to step up the pace Mr W and do what you say "learn from it".

21 Nov 2015 19:12:12
This has been a long time coming though we have struggled against a lot of the teams in the league and we are so 1 dimensional. If Warburton thinks we only need 2 players in January then he is sadly wrong. We are just an average side who believed their own hype earlier on in the season. Also this Magic Hat nonsense is hopefully been put to bed.

21 Nov 2015 20:02:23
What aloud of nonsense were still top on goal difference with a game in hand. 1 game ago we won 4nil do you not think that hibs deserve credit as well. Basically every signing mw has made has been a success and I'd say any signings in Jan will be a success and will help us get promoted I don't think we should be panicking yet.

22 Nov 2015 01:09:08
Hooly78

How can you say the signings in January will be a success when you don't even know who they are? No one is panicking just telling how they see it. In short the team isn't as good as some fans think they are and Warburton hasn't done anything yet.

22 Nov 2015 08:58:33
I think so far his signings gave been successfull so I'm hoping any signings in Jan will be the same. My only criticism would be that hardy and possibly Thompson havnt been given a run of games no matter how good a pro Miller has been he is done and Clarke isn't good enough.

22 Nov 2015 00:56:40
Holy exactly mate, the way some on here are talking they must think we lost the league today. i also think his will lose or draw more games than us, his will not even finish second IMHO, I think Falkirk will take that spot, and they also drew today.

21 Nov 2015 17:40:29
Team full of bottlers man, hibs playing mind games, but following it up with wins, we're trying to play minds games and following it up with a draw, we've got the best team, we play the best style play, but we've been struggling against sturdy teams, we've all the flare in the middle, but no tacklers, shocking result today, but doesn't change the league position just yet, so am hoping we get back to winning ways! We need a striker and 2 right good midfielders.

21 Nov 2015 18:30:57
Spot on, to much tippy tappy and not enough grit, we should be knocking the heart out these teams, we can't carry passengers, luxury players who have the heart of a pea, it's a joke.

21 Nov 2015 20:25:24
Calm down man you can't win every game.

21 Nov 2015 17:36:30
Also can't understand why Hardie hasn't been given a chance these last few matches.

22 Nov 2015 06:48:30
I think he is still with the Scotland setup for the U19's isn't he?

21 Nov 2015 17:34:27
Right I know I'm going to get abuse for this but should we try and intice Hibernian to sell Cummings. The wee man look the part and I know he comes with baggage. I personally don't think Hibs will accept any offer from us but we should test the water.

21 Nov 2015 17:54:46
Aye, in the hope that Celtic will then come in for him.

21 Nov 2015 18:13:42
We'll be alright. A sticky patch has been on the cards for a while. I will say this though, Halliday has been rotten last 5-6 games and cost us a goal today bottling a challenge. He's meant to be winger allegedly? Ah well, whatever.
Not getting any breaks lately either, post and bar against Hibs post today. We'll still win this league though it might be closer than we thought.

22 Nov 2015 06:01:02
I believe Bournemouth are interested in bringing him south in January.

22 Nov 2015 20:18:10
Any idea who will pay for him? For the foreseeable future we will be a selling club. We'll be bringing in free xfers with the hope of being able to sell them.

21 Nov 2015 17:33:06
Am not a fan of Clark but he has scored a couple recently and surely should have been put on rather than Miller, not good stuff at the moment though, will we beat St M and make the final? Well we should.

21 Nov 2015 17:04:23
getting tired of people saying things like, Why are we worrying, we will win this league in a canter?
The BIG reason for our bad form is what's going on OFF the park. None of our competitors has to carry such baggage, and like last season, the rot is setting in. We have lost our edge because something needs fixing off the park and we are NOT dealing with it. King has a part to play in this, instead of snapping like a crocodile he should be paying Ashley back his £5m loan, and he should be going about the tax business in a dignified way instead of shouting the odds. It might not be affecting other clubs, but it sure is making our guys wonder if they made mistakes by signing. The can't be on high wages these days, so they must be just a bit restless. That unfortunately leads to off-form performances. Its nothing to do with other teams treating all our games as cup finals, that should NEVER be an ssue, it has always been that way, the same goes on at Celtic, for the same reasons, just because of who they are.

21 Nov 2015 17:22:38
Poor result by any Ranger standard!

MA must be really rubbing his hands along with Hibs and celtic supporters!

21 Nov 2015 16:52:02
Crap today, I knew it. To much tippy tappy, turning into a mini arsenal, no steel.

21 Nov 2015 16:58:26
What mw does in January is now more more important than ever, he needs to and I'm sure he while bring in quality players. We can afford another year in this division. A goal scorer is a must. Let's hope that King gets his cheque book out.

21 Nov 2015 17:05:34
Very disappointing again - 4 points out of last 9!

Shades of Super Ally throwing away a 15 point lead against Celtic before we went down?

Players too busy dreaming of winning title in higher league next season and we are not even out of this one yet by a long way!

21 Nov 2015 16:47:17
Know I'm going to get abuse for this but we are paying the price for not signing a proven goal scorer. I said at the beginning of season that hibs man for man are at least as good as us, I got dogs abuse but I have been proved right.

Unless we do something about this hibs will win the league as they go into games under far less pressure. We are every team's cup final.

Our club will fold if we fail to get promoted again. I'm sorry if this upsets people but its the truth.

21 Nov 2015 18:35:16
We need guys with heart in middle of park not bottles trying to play the fancy stuff, we need to win all the battles in the first 30mins then the class will show in end, absolute crap, but know what I knew it and so does warbs.

21 Nov 2015 13:03:42
Anyone know what's happening with Souness? Hope the big mans alright.

21 Nov 2015 13:21:09
Only just heard that he had been taken to hospital in Bournemouth on a stretcher but not thought to be serious. Get well soon Souness. Love him or hate him the guy revolutionised Scottish football.

21 Nov 2015 17:35:53
must have got his tax bill.

21 Nov 2015 10:49:47
I'm really hoping for a strong display today and a comfortable win. The teams results have been a bit a bit of a struggle recently. Let's get back to the type of play and results we had in the first 5 or 6 games of the season. I understand you can't play like that EVERY week but it was so refreshing to watch.

21 Nov 2015 12:54:31
WHile I agree that it would be nice to start battering teams again, I do not think our recent displays have been a struggle.

At the start of the season teams were more open against us, probably because we were so poor last season and they thought they had a chance. Now we are seeing teams sitting deep with everyone behind the ball and we are finding it harder to break them down.

21 Nov 2015 16:01:38
Half time and real weaknesses showing. Firing on 3 cylinders Zeb, McKay and big For. Could watch Zeb all day - what a mover.

Time to rest Oduma, Tavernier and maybe Waggy.

The one touch passing of the early games is no more and replaced with stop and think or the big punt that seldom goes to one of us.

Basic tackling is non existent. Do they have studs?
Other than that still looks like we can get the win.

21 Nov 2015 23:03:57
Full Time and what sh*t. A team without studs. Not replacing oduwa in the first half when he was destroying our confidence. Are we sure about Warburton.?
