Not been on for some time but been following you all, just want to repeat a post I made some time ago, after last night I still believe we need an enforcer someone to protect the you ball, players thoughts guy!

Also does anyone know if som of these thugs playing for Livingston are going to be dealt with by the SFA as I've not read anything!

22 Oct 2015 09:58:29
Haven't heard anything Bongo but as none of this was as "serious" as a bit of slander, I would very much doubt anything will be done by our inept governing body!

Just want to echo the thoughts of many on here who are angry that someone gets treated like that just because they have a bit of skill. Won't make any up and coming kid/star want to come up here to further themselves, with ANY club and that is only going to hurt our game.

Also want to give credit where it's due and give a bit of praise for Law, He has as some people have eluded to, started to show a bit more and step up. Well done.

22 Oct 2015 10:48:23
His final ball and delivery is shocking he just isn't suited to our play, how many sitters does he miss a game 2,3?

22 Oct 2015 12:33:25
I agree but he's a grafter, he's up and down that park all game.

22 Oct 2015 20:51:02
Sorry but going forward he isn't the answer. Think his contract is up at the end of the season and I hope it won't get renewed.

22 Oct 2015 19:43:22
I'm not a fan per se, but I must admit he looks a much different proposition in this team. Deserves a chance imo.

23 Oct 2015 09:12:12
He suits a counter attacking team he loves bursting into the box and getting goals. But it's hard to burst into the box when there's 10 defenders.

21 Oct 2015 18:33:18
It is a sad state of affairs when players of oduwa' quality are being taken off at half time for there own safety. No protection whatsoever from the ref last night, there was a horror tackle on Law from the boy Gordon which could have broke his leg also, no booking.
On a plus side I think Law's attitude since being dropped has been fantastic, knuckled down and played his way back into the team. Never a fan but maybe he can still prove us all wrong, as with Clark there's defo a player in there somewhere.

22 Oct 2015 09:26:47
Yeah totally agree, law has powered on, and thought he played pretty well against Livi, think a run of games is coming his way, rest the young arsenal boy and get him hungry again. plus sides all round.

22 Oct 2015 14:18:07
Let Clark play at cf for a couple of months, give the boy a chance to prove he scores goals, and he will, law has definitely improved, fairs fair.

don't know why any player with ball skills would want to play in Scotland especially in the lower leagues. with layers like the idiot last night tackling a very skillfull ball player with intent to only badly injure. we also have the captain of our national team who just runs around kicking players and trying to prove he's some kind of hard man. the game has changed a lot since the souness keane era where they have to prove they are men on the park. our game up here should be gratefull we have ball players who emulate Henderson Johnston etc and entertain the fans with their skills. shame on the lowlife bottom feeders in our game and more to the point SHAME on the referees who allow it. we will keep up the flamboyant style our manager has injected into the gers despite the stud bearers. deecee.

21 Oct 2015 15:04:00
Totally agree oduwa took a beating, kicked up and down and took a forearm smash to the neck which the referee missed allegedly, yea right. Disgraceful way to play football and allowed by a pathetic referee. Mark Burchills answer were any of my guys sent of no so that's okay. We need more managers like him like we need a hole in the head gger.

21 Oct 2015 15:18:55
70sGer Totally agree with your post ---- the Livi player who administered the forearm smash would have been sent off in a RUGBY match ---- as for the managers comments, well just look who he is !

21 Oct 2015 15:44:32
Very good post. A red card in England doesn't even warrant a booking in the Scottish Championship. Poor refereeing is killing the game and the SFA need to act now. I wouldn't blame Spurs or Arsenal from pulling their players from this league and as for " it'll toughen them up " comments in the press, well it won't if they're lying in a hospital bed with a broken leg or busted knee.

21 Oct 2015 17:20:26
While we have to accept teams parking the bus against us as the norm, sadly, tackling like that is acceptable. Mark Burchill's "none of my players got sent off so all is hunky dorey" is a complete disgrace.

21 Oct 2015 12:41:11
Has anyone else noticed Oduwa's awkward running style. It's more evident when he has to run flat out. He raises his shoulders and puts his head down. Although this has no real effect when carrying the ball, when chasing or sprinting it slows him right down. You would think they'd be working on that.

21 Oct 2015 12:35:02
Danny Wilson got a fight on his hands to get Ball back out of the team, he looks a right good player, and big Kiernan looked more secure and composed with Ball next to him.

21 Oct 2015 14:55:54
A think we miss wilsons play out from the back both centre backs look unable to step up and play whereas Wilson is very good at it.

21 Oct 2015 15:03:42
yeh Wilson is better with the ball to feet, but sometimes heart attack stuff. when he out the team the holding midfielder can come short and that resolves that issue.

sometimes just some good old fashion defending is what is needed!

but can't complain with the 3 centre back options that we have. MW defo knows his stuff, 3 good young players !

21 Oct 2015 11:17:31
Good to see us eventually break them down last night. The team showed good patience and was also good to see Clark grab the winner. He tries hard every time he pulls on the jersey and I would love to see him go on a goal streak like he did with QOS.

21 Oct 2015 12:34:54
I thought Clark did well once he came on. He seems to have improved his mobility and link up play. A definite positive.

21 Oct 2015 14:56:28
First time in a long time we seen Nicky Clark take men on and shoot from distance maybe there still time for him .

21 Oct 2015 10:37:15
It is becoming frustrating watch us having to try and break down these park the bus teams.

U can understand why MW is looking at the ex barca/man city player.

He looking for something different to what we have, bit of magic in middle of the park, skill, pace, beat a man or 3, killer pass etc.

Hopefully this guy fits the bill for what MW is looking for. And it come just as the new head of recruitment is door ! I think this is his first player to be recommended for a trial. Fingers crossed !
