We should defo take Jake Livermore on loan from Spurs and I reckon Macheda would be a great add as well (on loan of course) And whats the situation with Bartley? Is it true Arsenal are gonna call him back from his loan??

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Watched livermore v man utd, never in the game

Ally should make an attempt to bring Marcheda on a 1 year loan. He is 6th choice at United behind Rooney-Hernandez-Wellbeck-Berba-Owen. He would be the perfect partner for big Jela. WATP

I dont think we need another creative midfeilder, like alot of you are saying, davis and naismith and more attacking than defence but are box to box, mckay I believe is like Davis in that sense, and Bedoya is a technical, attacking player apparently, and thats without mentioning Fleck. The area we need to strengthen is up front, another striker is needed for cover and competiton and possibly another winger. This all ofcourse is my own opinion {Ed047's Note - Ness does his fair share of creating

We should buy Fraser fyvie he is one of the best young talents in Scottish football

Believable2 Unbelievable4

Live round the corner from him in Aberdeen, play poker with his neighbour every week and he says that he has potential but if he can stay clear of the booze he might have a chance but did say big IF

Weiss tweeted last night "ally didn't want me" and "rangers till I die" nice show of loyalty and best wishes in his future

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Another kid on badge kisser
{Ed047's Note - don't think so. We can't sign players just because of their feelings for the club but whatever anyone says about Weiss, he ain't a badge-kisser. Are you from the other side and perhaps feeling a bit jealous that foreigners can take our great club to their heart? Albertz wasn't liked too much either, was he?

Agree0 Disagree0

Albertz was here for a while and was a great player weiss was here for a season and apart from the cup final dont think he was up to much {Ed047's Note - That's what I was getting at in my reply. We can't sign players just because of their feelings. He isn't good enough - at the moment anyway, maybe in a year or two but too late now - but he cannot be accused of being a badge kisser, he was obviously genuine

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed...Weiss isn't good enough? Disagree big time, he's a full international and only a lad, even when it's not coming off for him, he never hides, and his pace is blistering, and gives us a great 'out' over the top......He's not far away at Man City, and oh Wylde isn't better, and Bedoya is coming from a league and a team like the English lge1, where he's been for 4 years....A wee run of games for Weiss and he'd be sensational, in fact like big Laff, i think wee Vlad would have ran the SPL ragged this year, and he knows what we're all about, remember, wee signed Ortiz as a winger and he can't go past a player, he ''might'' do a wee job in midfield, but you can't deny we signed him as a winger, and if Ally thinks Ortiz is better than vlad, then he's ready for the white coat.

Agree0 Disagree0

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Celtic bringing in joe cole ha ha ha .....more chance of them getting cheryl cole ffs ....bigt

Ed047 if I had said those things I would have got pilloried Timalloy (ecem, xemp, exeem, ach good speller )
{Ed047's Note - Shut yer trap you (less o' they big wurds like pilloried. Is that anything to do with pillow fighting?)

Agree0 Disagree0

I didn't want to dishearten him too much, Timmy needs to take things slow when it comes to learning. *writing this whilst trying not to make any errors*
{Ed047's Note - errors are allowed in small doses, just like Timalloy! To be honest I never noticed the ass error in the OP. I saw the word ass a few times and I saw the word Celtic a couple of times and thought 'nothing unusual there'

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed047 laugh I almost did. Goodnight Timalloy (tomorrow I get to play with my spellchecker) {Ed047's Note - spellchecker? Is that what you call it? G'nite T.

regarding the euro qualifiers, we play these games to early this is why we got put out. why couldent we play the qualifiers jus after the leagues are finnished which means we are still fit enough to play them, and the scandanavian teams are about 4 or5 games into thare season then eaveryone is happy, then we can go away on preseason come back then play the group stages in september what u think ed ramie govan front

Believable5 Unbelievable2

Good call mate it could work apart from the players holidays. But a better system why not just allow the champs from each league to play in the champs league and we would not have this prob each year

Agree0 Disagree0

UEFA would NEVER allow the camps from each league to be the sole competitors in a "Champions League". Think of all the big clubs that would loose out, the Champions League would disappear out of sight within a season. The Champions League should be called the "Richest Clubs Keep Getting Richer League"

Bit early to make that assumption but he looked solid and Whittaker is brutal so maybe. Hopefully McMillan gets a run in the side now.

Jimmy bullard would be a good signing and a couple on loan from spurs and we r set 4 in a row

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Bullard would spend half the season on the treatment table and he would cost a fair whack in wages so not worth the gamble imo.

hi ed sausage bear here . the reason we were so good yesterday was that we didnt give the ball away with stupid passes. if the opposition dont have the ball they cant punish us. no edu no whitts or clubfoot . hopefully ally can see what all us guys who pay to watch can see.

Afternoon Ed032, still keeping faith with Mr Lennon despite yesterday. Most of your bears had a feeding frenzy on our site enjoy while it lasts.
Not wanting to burst rangers bubble but you have interesting times coming up with HMRC case, your former CEO case coming to court shortly and even the new FFP rules regarding clubs debts, yes I hear you say Mr Whyte has cleared our debt, well has he? Looks like your solicitors are going to be busier than Rangers players. hail hail Timalloy
PS Wee Pat has added to his blog - good reading

Believable3 Unbelievable4

I had a smile on my face cracking weekend mon/morning so I'll let you worry about our troubles for us just now
Remember TiTalloy W.A.T.P

Agree0 Disagree0

The tiger here. always right as well. rangers will win the tax case (settle on figure. around 8 mill i beleive) ffp rules wont affect rangers. rangers will stroll to 4in a row. lennon isnt getting backed, he will be out by january.
the tiger- beyond reproach

Agree0 Disagree0

I was on the celtic site telling them that timalloy was a good guy but they dont seem to like you as much as we do which I find odd as they are always at great lengths to show their togetherness so to speak.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tiger FFP rules DO affect rangers look up rules, £8m? firstly where are gers going to get that amount and secondly double it anyway. You forgot about you old CEO court case imminent, watch the nasty stuff hit the fan LOL Timalloy (Always Right)

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey titalloy, this is the banter page and i know you are only on here to noise us champions up but it is us that are smiling and top of the league. remember what the famous bill struth said..."To be a Ranger is to sense the sacred trust of upholding all that such a name means in this shrine of football. They must be true in their conception of what the Ibrox tradition seeks from them. No true Ranger has ever failed in the tradition set him.
Our very success, gained you will agree by skill, will draw more people than ever to see it. And that will benefit many more clubs than Rangers. Let the others come after us. We welcome the chase. It is healthy for all of us. We will never hide from it. Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome.

That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers."

we believe this to the core so what ever enyone throws at us..bring it on.
in rangers we trust. oh and remember we never surrender and WE ARE THE PEOPLE.
john boy ayr ready

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy I didn't know you are so worried about the outcome of our tax case. Is it because it's all doom and gloom on your page ( sack Lennon sack the board sack your mascot sack everyone) we will let the owners of our club worry about the tax case and we will worry about how our team performs. So give it a rest. You should worry about the way your owner goes about the way he runs your club. No debt is great but ask yourself this For someone that's loaded why doesn't he splash his cash? Best fans in the world? I DON'T THINK SO. Last season you'd were calling for lennons head and guess what same thing again. So you ask yourself this timshe why doesn't your owner spend money when yous are all going on that yous need players? Worry about your team and we will with ours.
IN ALLY WE TRUST

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love to know what Lennon has done other than show a real ROI leaning that has made individuals who lack much of the grey matter get carried away on his band wagon and ignore FACTS on the football side.

Agree0 Disagree0

You are correct we have interesting times ahead, TO WATCH US GOING FOR 4IAR.

Agree0 Disagree0

John Boy, how is Sue Ellen these days?
Bears will you still go to ibrox when it becomes next Tesco? LOL timalloy {Ed047's Note - get your claws in, bitch

Agree0 Disagree0

IT MUST BE AWFUL WHEN YOU HAVE ZERO POSITIVE TO PUT ON YOUR OWN SITE SO SPEND YOUR TIME POSTING ON THE CHAMPIONS SITE

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy what do you think of Celtic having to sell Kayal Ki and Hooper as your Hairy faced benefactor want his soft loans back pronto.

If bartley is fit i'd play him CM with davis any thts?

Believable4 Unbelievable5

My thoughts are you talk pish. the boys a centre half.
the tiger

Agree0 Disagree0

To first reply. you obviously did not see his first game for us, he played midfield and was a stick out, personaly i would play him in front of the back four in a 4-1-4-1 formation which gives us great attacking options.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 16:18:15
Whatever any1 thinks about whittker hes 1st choice RB, ally hasnt signed him on a 25k a week contract 2 put him on the bench, what u think ed? {Ed032's Note - Only Ally knows}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

He was getting paid to much last year on 6k anm glad his ban is staying we might win noooo

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 16:01:00
I would like to see Ally go with the same team as Sunday on Thursday, but of course Naisy is suspended, so I'd replace him with John Fleck, who I thought done well when he came on.

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Fleck not got the energy naismith has, i think mcculloch will partner davis on thursday
McCulloch too negative for me, especially in this game where we need to score. I'd prefer Flack, he'll give us more going forward than McCulloch

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree mate mcculloch to negative and is as stiff as a board and to slow and gives away needless free kicks in and around the box.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think fleck given more minutes could be quality

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 15:55:57
After watching Sunday's game, I feel it's obvious how we line up from now on. We don't have the personnell to play with wingers, Wylde scored a good goal but done very little else and doesn't look particularly threatening, while Ortiz is too slow although looked better on the right.

We should be playing a 4-4-2, but with a compact, narrow diamond formation in the midfield.

At the deeper end of the diamond, first choice would be Jamie Ness, he would sit in that Makelele type role and dictate the pace of the game. This would the two midfielders in front of him, mainly Steven Davis & Steven Naismith, to get forward. Then at the head of the diamond, personally I would play John Fleck. He needs games, and slotted in comfortably against Chelsea & Motherwell. He would be a great creative force behind Jelavic & Lafferty who would play up top.

A narrow midfield would also allow Whittaker and Wallace to get forward more, hopefully bringin out the best in both of them.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

I think, that when all the new players are here, our midfield 4 will be Bedoya, Naismith, Davis and McKay.

Agree0 Disagree0

What about ortiz and whylde?

Agree0 Disagree0

That's a good problem to have.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bedoya will not be a regular, don't get carried away, low cost player from very mediocre league, he'll boost the squad numbers.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 15:47:56
I think we have a strong enough team to win 4 in a row dont think we need anymore

Believable2 Unbelievable2

We need another striker for cover and jelevic a break

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye but you werent saying that after the maribor game were you.
trust me we can improve in a few areas at least

Agree0 Disagree0

Nah mate i reckon we need a bit more creativity in the middle of the park and another striker. Jamie Murphy and Alexei Eremenko wouldn't cost a fortune and would add to the squad.
{Ed047's Note - I would add to the squad but I wouldn't get a game for them even if they only had 8 fit players! I'm sitting on the fence with Murphy and I don't think Eremenko is worth paying a wage to

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 15:33:18
can you tell us anything about jamie ness.he plays one game[ man of match ] then out again is he injured or dropped.rangers don,t let us know anything ?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Getting sold ive heard

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally don,nt want him to show up the tits he,s already got in midfield shame on you ally ps i bet soon as he gets visa clearance for his new buy,s we can say cheerio to the likes of perry ,mcmillan, wyled, etc ally,s motto as was walters before him is in young talent we dont trust unless we dont have an option wait and see i,ll be proven right

Agree0 Disagree0

Jamie ness has got groin injury

This is how i can see the majority of the season going for Rangers. There are 2 different teams that i think will be fielded this season. 1 Team being for Europe and the SPL, the other being for cup games, except the finals (if we get their). The Cup Games team will be as follows.

GK - McGregor

RB - McMillian
CB - Goian
CB - Bocanegro
LB - Wallace

RM - Naismith
CM - Davis
CM - Bartley
LM - Ortiz/Wylde

CF - Jelavic
CF - Lafferty

No i strongly believe that this team will change for the "more important games". I believe the main team this season wil be this...

GK - McGregor

RB - Whittaker
CB - Bocanegro
CB - Goian
LB - Papac

RM - Ortiz
CM - Davis
CM - Naismith
LM - Bedoya

AM - McKay

CF - Jelavic

No i like the look of the above team except for 1 exception (i would replace Whittaker for McMillian).

I strongly believe that McMillian is the better player, Whittaker is over-rated and has only cost us games.

I believe Wylde, Perry, Bartley, Kerker and Fleck will be used in most games this season through subs

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Alexander will play cup games for a start. Wish I had stopped reading as soon as I seen you miss that out, what a lot of crap you've written there.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ally wont pay 1.5 million for wallace and not play him

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe its a good team

Agree0 Disagree0

Bedoya will not be a regular, and Whitts will start all the time if he's fit, like it or lump it, because the simple fact is, We are not in the position to pay a player 25k per week to sit on the bench, Whitts 'will' play.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 15:04:49
Team for thursday

Greegs
Yank Goian Perry Wallace

Sundays result proves edu is rank rotten we have been playing with 10 men for 31 games in a row now

Believable5 Unbelievable3

what is everyones thoughts on the formation for Thursday night?

I would love to see us go for it with 4-4-2

My team would be...

Greegs
McMillan Goian Yank Wallace
Ortiz Davis Edu Wylde
Jela Laff

With Naisy suspended, I think this is the best we could do on Thursday. I think perry deserves his chance but risky on a euro night

Thoughts?

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Hutton for edu

Agree0 Disagree0

Gd formation. but id play john fleck instead of edu.

rob

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree defence strong ortiz and wylde sone good ther yesterday edu can play good games sometimes more compition in the middle so it encourage himaye a hink that wid be the winning team mcmillan and wylde will be on a big boost jst now

Agree0 Disagree0

Perry should get his chance, if your good enough your old enough. thats whats wrong in this counrty we get guys who would rather go for experience even though that person in not as good as the younger player. give youth a chance i say.

bigstevie

I dont think Hutton is as good as Ness, i would play edu instead, Hutton hasnt impressed me that much yet

Delighted at that performance yesterday. Perry looked like he has been playing beside Goian for years, McMillan was good at right back, Davis and Naismith were excellent in midfield, in particular Naismith. I Kind of hope big Jelavic has a couple of off weeks until the window closes just to make sure we don't lose him, and big Lafferty's strike was out the top drawer. Good to see Kerkar get a run out as well, Had a few good touches. With Ness, Bocanegra, Bartley, Bedoya and McKay to come into that side along with Hutton and Darren Cole pushing for a run in the 1st team i think we are in really good shape. Another striker is a priority as i think midfield and defence is packed with options. Amazing that we are in such a state yet we find ourselves top the the league eh? AGAIN

Believable3 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2011 12:56:32
Not much transfer gossip / rumours lately, have all the " sources " dried up ? After the win at motherwell, I was delighted, great performance and the ideal mood going in against that Slovenian mob come Thursday. I still think back up for the strikers is required, and a centre back too. Let's hope that C.W does not feel we are now strong enough after yesterday, it's a long hard campaign ahead, with us playing Euro football again and the " noisy neighbours " NOT playing in Europe ( again ) A couple more bodies, Ally and the 55th title is secured. 4 in a row

Believable2 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2011 12:54:48
I think it's funny that ppl on here say that we should play all the youngsters on the basis of 1/2 games. Are these the same people that jumped on whytes/ally's back for not signing anyone and wanting big money players? I think we should get youngsters into the team yes but faze them in. I think i would bring in Wydle and Ness and would give the rest cup games and the odd spl to raise their game. You dont want to many youngsters but it is good to see come through.

c-bear85

Believable4 Unbelievable2

22 Aug 2011 12:47:57
We dont need anymore players in with the new boys we have and the young team we will win 4 in a row 6 points clear of that other lot

Fellow Bears, lend me your ears.

Weiss off to Dynamo Kiev for £4m.
O” well sad though it may be, I wish the lad all the best, however I have to agree with the majority of realistic posts, to be good is not enough, for that kind of cash you want at the very least someone who is proven, he has still to get there with the money that a number of you out there would have had the wee man splash out on Vlad, our money can be better spent nearer to home, say Jamie Murphy for starters, a great young prospect, at a fraction of the cost.

I know Vlad would have worn the jersey with pride, but so will this lad, and he is home grown, come on Ally get after him and some more.

The Ally McCoist bandwagon marches on, we are good, we are on our way to greatness once again, In Ally we trust. Never forget the Famous Glasgow Rangers.

Its great being a bear.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Wouldnt pay 4 million for weiss, could get a winger and striker for that amount of money, was a gd loan sighing but thats it

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 12:39:40
Think about it. Vladimir Weiss is younger than Aiden McGeady, scores more goals, has more of an end product and has faster feet & better skill.

That's a fact, one day if sanity prevails he'll be worth £15million? but he'll let his contract run down for his beloved Rangers haha WATP

Believable4 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2011 12:38:38
Jamie Murphy........think we would be better off with Eddie Murphy. I never saw anything yesterday that would suggest he is anywhere near Rangers class. I think we have better coming through Murray Park than him. Why not concentrate on securing long term deals for the talent we have already? It's not rocket science and I think I speak for every bear when I say that wee Wylde looked impressive. It's imperative he stays at Ibrox surely??

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Yet another one who no doubt have wanted goodwillie even though Murphy kept him out of Scotland under 21`s for2 reasons far superior player and has proven it in Europe

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2011 12:33:18
Love wee Weiss his genuine love for Rangers is evident, even as a Man City player he was saying Rangers fans are the best in the world. I really hope he has a fantastic long career and fufills his potential. Then comes back one day. Good luck Weiss

Believable5 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2011 12:30:37
who cares about wiess being off to dynamo. He wasn't good enough if anyone that new anythin about football watched him play they'd know that. Fancy tricks out on the wing and a wee burst of speed is great but no final ball to strikers or getting by ur man means he was useless to Glasgow rangers no doubt he enjoyed his time here coz we all got behind him but wait a few months and the badge kissing and song singing Will have started in Russia. Just another aiden mcgeady and we could all see him for what he really was coz we didn't have the green tinted specs on so lets take our blue ones off and quit fillin these pages with rubbish about someone our magnificant manager didn't rate to bring back to our great club. Watp

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Just can't agree with you. I don't think you are able to look at a players potential with this comments. You have basically described Ronaldo when he first joined Man Utd And as for MGeady where have you been? He's subject to a possible 12million offer from Aston Villa

So maybe you should take your head out your ass and ahll keep my Blue Specs on thanks.

22 Aug 2011 12:24:42
I believe lafferty will start to show why we bought him in the 1st place if he get a run in the team my guess 15-20 goals {Ed047's Note - easily if the end of last season and yesterdays performances are anything to go by. He's playing with confidence and his scoring record in his last half dozen or so games is excellent

Believable2 Unbelievable0

8 goals in his last 7 games

Agree0 Disagree0

Yesterdays strike was a classy classy finish. I don't think we need a proven striker to the extent of spending millions. For me someone no more than 1.5million. Laffy and Jelly for me, Naismith out right with Ortiz fighting for the same position. Davis in centre with Bedoya, McKay ,Edu, Wylde Ness all fighting for LCM and LM. The back four of Wallace/Papac, Gioan Bartley Perry Boca for centre and Whitty /McMillan fighting for RB.

We should go for Hamdi Salihi from Rapid Vienna- He has scored 50 goals in 77 matches for them. We could get him cheap too.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

And he was Jelavic's strike partner when he was at Rapid Would be good to link them up again

I'll be an unhappy bear if we drop all the kids again what a difference in the team ,mcmillian (just as good a rb as we've got)perry(looked solid)wylde(on his day could be match winner)ness(when fit should just simply be in the team)add to that hutton , fleck and few more our youth players look better than a lot of the regulars by a long way(no names mentioned)a hope they get more than just a few run outs through the season if weer new signens are better than them then fair enough , play them , but if not stick with the boys , most of them look like winners in the making

Believable2 Unbelievable0

What a diffrence in the team when we hav a direct driving force in the middle of the park not slagging guys lyk edu or mcculloch but feel they play to defensive and boths passing are shocking.. we should be good enough to attack all teams in spl instead o playing defensive 4 IN A ROW {Ed047's Note - I think Edu has more to offer than we're getting. He is lacking confidence. I agree with you though, yesterday was much better to watch

This page is honestly hilarious, thursday night you were calling for Ally's head, I quite clearly posted saying get behind the team (as did a few others to be fair).

We win at motherwell as I said we would and suddenly everyone is happy again- pathetic, stay behind the team or don't support them at all.

As I said, we will now win our next 4 games and be top of the league and in the Europa League group stages, hence beating Maribor, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Celtic.

So it would seem that the tic faithful are not so prevalent with there nonsense posts today then I wonder why

Celtic boss Neil Lemon blasts players.
Lemon sacks Kris Commons as penalty taker after shock defeat to St Johnstone.

WTF ally. 3m for Weiss, that is a potential money maker His price is sure to rise. City need to get one player of there books to get a replacement for Lescott and are letting Weiss go for peanuts They have admitted to this, unbelievable 2 seasons and he'd be worth 5-6m Fair enough he gets ball greedy sometimes but some people would agree this is down to drying to impress since he was put out on loan. He wants to prove what he can do He's not like that on international duty and playing for a team that want him will mellow that out of him and just prove how good a player he is He's still better than mcculloch and edu put together Someone knock sense into someone at ibrox and actually buy someone that wants to play for the jersey again Remember the 9 in a row days, those players loved rangers and rangers loved them We don't need anymore bougherra's looking for a steping stone to the premiership, see what happens to people like that....they end up in Qatar where we'll prob never hear from him again. Infact it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't end up coming back one day to play for the tinks Has no loyalty to the gers, he proved that with the amount of times he went missing and the amount of times he asked to leave

Weiss really has posted on twitter Ally didnt want him In Ally I Trust but i cannot say im not gutted. Not only is he a technically gifted youngster but he is a die hard

Absolutely gutted on this one

Believable2 Unbelievable1

I was gutted last year when he lost the ball outside the inverness box and let the guy run the whole length of the park and score. Just because he sings a few songs and had 1/2 good performances does not make him the be all and end all. I thought he was average at best on most occasions. If he was that good he'd be in the city squad. Not overly fussed he's not coming back.

Whats the betting WHEN we beat Maribor, we get Dynamo Kiev in the Europa and wee Vlad comes back to haunt us.

What a change a weekend can make.

Very impressed with Rangers at the weekend, they played good football and had good movement all over the park.

Wylde needs to be signed up and lafferty must stay. Watch his movement and notice he is always looking for the ball as is Jelavic. The two of them together will prove a brilliant strikeforce.

If Jelavic peels off he tends to take 2 defenders with him leaving room for a midfeilder to burst into and pulling apart a gap for lafferty to burst into. (killie last game of season and multiple times yesterday, most noteably in the highlights.)

I am convinced we will put out maribor this week and lafferty will score, as will Jelavic.

Sign up Wylde, McKay to arrive, bocanegra to return, Bedoya to arrive, and potentially two more signings. The other side of the city are worried.

Good morning the Blue Faithful.

Congratulations Mr McCoist.
It has never been in doubt, however you set your stall out and proved your doubters wrong, its easy to cast aspirations when your up against the odds, however I don’t hear the many sorry’s we were wrongs Never mind were off and running.

Ross Perry, Jordan MacMillan and Gregg Wylde can all rightly hold their heads high at training this morning - each and every one of them turned in a great shift, a fine performance yesterday and deserve further game time for sure. Obviously very, very early days, but it’s good to see the champions back on top.

Time now to focus on forging forward lets show the world how we are, we are the famous Glasgow Rangers, and to the wee man I say Job well done my son.

Its great to be a bear.

It was good to see Wylde playing so well yesterday. His attitude was spot on and he took his goal superbly. You could see how much the goal meant to him and i'd like to see him start on Thursday night. His confidence will by sky high at the moment and the last thing the boy needs is a seat on the bench. I also thought Steven Naismith was outstanding yesterday. He must be one of the fittest players in the SPL.

I bet Ally will play Edu and McCulloch if fit in Europe, with Ortiz down the left. It's this combination which has seen us stutter this season. Lets hope Ally has learnt his lesson today as the midfield were superb.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I've a £100 bet on that Ally will play Edu
