C'mon boys let's show them how it's done the Rangers way tomorrow and smash Hibs all over Ibrox and let the new guys hear the proper Ibrox ROAR! and slap it right up Stubbs and Petrie.

Does anyone think that we should maybe try and get Steven Naismith back. He was saying during the week that if he isn't getting regular football at Everton. I for one was not happy with the ones who left but after all the crap that went on off the pitch the standard of management, coaching style of football on it well it hurts to say but easier with hindsight that really you couldn't blame them. I know that we needed them in our hour of need but these are young guys spoon fed crap from agents and parents for as far back as they can remember plus they do have short careers plus the experience that he has picked up as a result of this he would be an ideal signing with all the young guys the last few weeks with the new manager has really helped me feel good about our team again really proud of the performance the class of the manager shines through in a way that exemplifies this great club and through this good feeling we must no longer hold grudges from the old regimes that tried so hard to ruin this great club. No man is bigger than the club and acting bigger by forgiving a player who when wearing the jersey was outstanding for us and could be again.

Come on Gary I though all this was behind us about x players, were building for the future so we must stop looking at the past, onward upwards and forward can't wait for thisgame against the the Hobbits!

I know most won't agree but I'd love to see Naisy back at ibrox. Cracking player. I'd also love to see Aluko, mcgregor, Davis back aswell.

22 Aug 2015 23:58:55
Bongo I know that a lot of people may not like that idea but he is a top drawer player who gave his all when playing. Taking away our feelings as supporters if you were at your work and went through all the crap attached to the last few years how many people would say that they wouldn't have jacked if it was a normal job me I would have been sacked for knocking out the bosses

Agree2 Disagree2

23 Aug 2015 00:25:10
Don't want any of these players back they deserted the club and Naismith even had the cheek to hold a press conference declaring Rangers dead and he owed them nothing. As Warburton said he wants people who want to play for Rangers not players who couldn't get out of the club quick enough

Agree1 Disagree4

22 Aug 2015 21:21:27
Gary, I agree that he would be ideal, but we could not afford him, at present. However, a subsidised loan deal with a view to purchase would be ideal, assuming MW wants him.
What happened when he left was unique and it is time to move on. Hopefully, after this season, we will have some cash behind us and be in a position to sign players to better our situation.
However, our manager has put together a good team with the few signings made and the loan deals in place. As long as our manager has control of signings, I am sure we will be in safe hands.

Agree3 Disagree2

22 Aug 2015 21:33:56
steven naismith should never be back inside ibrox it was him that started the exodus with the club getting no transfer money he has too much to say about every one when he was at ibrox he held the dubious honour of not turning at supporter clubs fund raisers he forgot rangers kept faith with him all the times he was injured

Agree1 Disagree3

22 Aug 2015 22:36:45
Gary it's a big big no from me mate, this guy lay on a treatment table for 2 years getting all his medical work done for bugger all ,while picking up his wages, and should no sign of guilt as he flew out the door,so he should never be giving the opportunity to embarrass us again, now that he can't get a game at Everton he is trying to tell us Mr warboton is doing a great job,we don't need his like to tell us that,he will never be welcome back at our place, imho

Agree1 Disagree3

22 Aug 2015 22:46:11
I would never take naismith back. him and whittaker where the worst out of all the players that left us I can still see the 2 of them in that press conference! The only 1 I would take back is Davis at least he got southampton to give us some money. So I hope naismith rots in Everton reserves.

23 Aug 2015 02:30:29
Would never have him back after his comments about signing for rangers not sevco

Agree2 Disagree2

23 Aug 2015 10:29:29
Gary were about in my reply did I mention about him leaving all I'm saying is he's had his shot at Rangers. The only one I possibly like to see back at Ibrox would be Steven Davies he was Quality!

Agree2 Disagree0

23 Aug 2015 13:01:52
Davis was rangers best player for several seasons. He was also the only one who showed any thought to the club and its fans. Has made it clear he wants to come back and would welcome him.

Naismith was the worst, he has stuck the knife in after abandoning us. Plenty happy in the good times but gave zero thought to fans with his attempts to justify his actions. We may be dead to him, he is dead to us.

So good to be a Rangers fan right now

I won't to say after the loan signing of Gedion Zalalem from Arsenal that is transfers complete

Somehow, I reckon there is unfinished business and that we may indeed add another one signing to the list, that being a clinical finisher!

I reckon MW will find out who has a future at Rangers after year one but obviously will give players a chance to prove they're good enough!

Already leaving us with his contract being terminated will be Marius Zaluskas and a few more may follow come January!

That's a real player we've got till the end of the season now. If he can adapt to the physical side of the game up here he could turn out to be revelation.
Well done Warburton for luring him up here, I've high hopes this move with be beneficial to both Zelalem and Rangers.

Just to stir the pot a bit before tomorrow's game and the warm welcome no doubt dished out for Stubbs from 50,000 fans . I note he chose to comment on our manager's job being easy by virtue of having a transfer budget but made no mention of Deila and his millions to spend.

Stubbs' Celtic past no doubt influences a lot of his decisions and McNamara's too is useful in providing his old club with Dundee Utd's best. Celtic have in turn been " kind " enough to sell McGeouch and loan Henderson to Hibs and Stubbs is waxing lyrical about them both. Tomorrow's going to be a feisty affair and another six past them would go a long way to shutting the man up.
