cheers billyb and billybluenose, the wee grand-daughter will be chuffed. She will be 5 just after Xmas .
I'll toast yous on hogmanay and wish Stubbsy all the best for being SECOND BEST!
2016 onwards and upwards.

22 Dec 2015 17:44:58
Cmon the Rangers, show us what you are made of and shut Stubbs up in the the paper again tonight slating us off about now we know who Hibs are, if that does not inspire you to get a result then you don't deserve to be wearing the blue jersey WRTP.

22 Dec 2015 20:26:35
Stubbs is on the wind up, more fool us to respond in any other way than show them who is boss on Monday.

22 Dec 2015 20:29:11
totally, stubbsy it beginning to get on my moobs, he is so stupid giving us all the ammo we need, how can that no inspire you, if it was me a would be so pumped for 90mins that I would be unstoppable, mon the Bears, main man will be Nicky law, he is focused I can just sense it, this is his moment to get that new contract and be the guy we were always looking for.

22 Dec 2015 18:22:20
Too right and by the way Stubbsy, if you say the table doesn't lie, the table shows we're top.

23 Dec 2015 09:14:21
Stubbs only gets coverage from the media when he talks about the famous Glasgow Rangers. remember they are only here to read about the Rangers. WATP.

23 Dec 2015 09:17:42
As I've said many times, Hibs have not been good over the last few weeks. A pal of mine who supports them says they have been rank rotten and he has no idea how they are scraping wins. I heard Roger Hannah on Clyde last night say he had watched their game against Queens at the weekend and more or less said they were absolute mince but in a diplomatic way. I think, especially given big Una's just plain silly comments, that our guys will use the hype to give them a doing on Monday.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all bears and their families!

23 Dec 2015 00:43:17
Why all of a sudden is Nicky Law being made out to be some sort of saviour? He has been awful for us since the day he signed and to rely on him is folly.

23 Dec 2015 12:44:33
The Seeker
Agree with your post mate also heard Hannah last night, let's stick those green tinted specs were the sun don't shine.
Merry Xmas to all bears.

22 Dec 2015 17:29:44
going to spend Xmas with my wee grand-daughter so hopefully Hibs will be history by the time I get home in January.
A very merry Xmas to all you bears and all the Eds' too, the site here keeps us old fogies going, and at 70 living in Northern Ireland haven't been to the Brox in years but follow follow just as much. Once a bear always a bear.
Hopefully a happy new year to come too :)

22 Dec 2015 19:58:15
All the best to you and yours Bill, and although I don't always agree with you, I know you are Rangers to the core.
Although age makes us grump a bit more than our juniors, it should never be doubted we are Rangers till we die.
So by the time you return from your family break, Stubbs will be eating humble pie and we will be marching back to where we belong.
To all fellow bears out there, have a brilliant Christmas and a great 2016. And a special greeting to the Eds, who do a great job in keeping the lid on some heated debates.

22 Dec 2015 17:46:13
Wee bill I hope you have a good Xmas and good new year, old yin, lol, IDE also wish to extend my Xmas wishes to all the Edds, and indeed all that post on here, even if I don't agree with a lot of the posts, lol, it's that time of year when all differences should be set aside, good wishes to all ( don't overdo it lads) lol. wee bill I nearly went without mentioning yer wee grand daughter, although I don't know her you be sure to let her know I pass on my Xmas wishes to her and indeed all your whole family.

23 Dec 2015 12:48:28
Wee bill hope you and your grand daughter have a Merry Xmas coupled with a good win for the teddy bears.

22 Dec 2015 12:43:03
Managers live and die by their decisions in these crucial games.

For Warburton this is one of them. If we win, we go back to believing the hype at the start. If we lose the doubters become stronger.

Would not take a draw at this point. We are at Ibrox against Hibernian, not Bayern Munich.

We should have had at least a point at Easter Road.

At Ibrox we get THREE. Simple as that!

22 Dec 2015 13:44:34
I could not agree more sir. I Ibrox is OUR home and teams should be resigned to the fact they leave with nothing, nada not a sausage.
It may be the season of good will, however this is footy we're talking about here!
Seasons greetings to all you bears and yours.

22 Dec 2015 14:07:54
Hopefully all bears will be having a party over Christmas and New Year.

A win at Ibrox will spur the team on for a good run of results.

A couple of first team signings in January who can make an impact going forward and improve the protection for that back four will be just perfect.

A win at Ibrox better not change their transfer plans in January though.

22 Dec 2015 20:35:16
Boxing Day's game will also give us a good idea of what these players are like mentally and physically. Every player on that Rangers team sheet will need to treat this game as if it was a Cup Final. There must be no quarter given, no holding back in tackles and no slip shod work from defenders, midfield players or strikers.

Hibs must be beaten and Stubbs put back in his box. While 1-0 would do a good thrashing would be more appropriate since that will wreck their confidence.

22 Dec 2015 17:00:19
Thorn76, in agreement mate, remember when teams used to come to ibrox hoping they never got horsed, teams feared coming to our place, most teams celebrated a draw like they had won, but let's face it we should have beat hibs every game, they are not a good team, other teams play an open game against them ( as opposed to 10 men behind the ball) maybe making them look better, but there not a good team IMO.

{Ed's Note - We have posted a new article entitled, Austin May Leave QPR In January And Other News Of The Day

22 Dec 2015 10:43:14
Just woke up there, first thing I see as usual in the sports pages, rangers players shouting there mouths off! Absolute disgrace, we have NO bottle whatsoever, that's been proved since Hibs bet us 2-1, we've been found out BIG TIME, the worse thing warburton done this year, was change his formation against Hibs that day, it proved he was worrying about Hibs, and from then on, he's chopped and changed the defence every other week, the boy Wilson get caught flat footed every single game, ball over the top, he's too square, too slow, and his positioning sense is shocking, he needs kept away from that team, Hibs will come to ibrox on Monday, and be right in our faces from the off, fast upbeat tempo, that's all teams need to get a result against us! Yeah it's been night and day from last year, but it's getting serious now, we need up and out that league this year, I'm actually embarrassed to read and see all the shouts, oh get 3/4 players in for January, blah blah blah, 5 weeks ago we didn't need 3/4 players, we where hoping to go 11 points clear, now it's even Stevens, and everybody involved in the club is bottling themselfs, come on team, this is what it is really like playing for the o mighty Rangers, deal with it, enjoy it, and get us back to where we belong,

22 Dec 2015 11:05:58
Good post Colin mac but it isn't exactly a disaster just yet is it? Since we lost to Hibs, and including that game, we have played 7, won 3, drawn 2 and lost 2. Our defeats have both been 2-1 and Hibs were certainly lucky in their win. We should also have humped Livingston and Morton. Something has gone off the boil but players who were being lauded as very good players earlier in the season can't suddenly become bad players. I think confidence, or lack of it, is part of the problem. Warburton must stick with Shiels (who seemed to do well against Falkirk) and Nicky Law should start against Hibs. Dare I say it again, please give young Hardie a chance up front! He can't do any worse than Miller and co. I always thought we'd look to strengthen in January and we do need bolstering in all areas.

22 Dec 2015 12:48:01
Colin I take it wasn't the sun u were reading cause it's hibs mainly Stubbs that's doing all the shouting. i don't read too much into that actions speak louder than words so let's wait till after the game then we can pick the bones out of it. Also very impressed by Harry redknapps thoughts on Rangers as a club in another article today. he has been there and done it at a high level in football so his comments about us was good to read. A real football man and a gent so hats off to him.

22 Dec 2015 13:11:14
We are top of the league and thhere is plenty of games left, why is everyone in a panic already. get behind the team instead of criticizing them. Some fans moan when we don't shoot then moan when we do.

22 Dec 2015 13:16:38
Cee

When your 8 points clear 6 games ago and are now only ahead by goal difference then I think fans have a right to be concerned. It's not panic but concern about how he team is playing and the tactics the manager is using. It's really quite simple why fans are unhappy and I don't know why that seems to go over your head?

22 Dec 2015 21:04:05
Why don't you try supporting the team when they are playing bad, try and encourage them, some fans just go to shout abuse at the players and opposition fans.

22 Dec 2015 09:41:20
Murdoch scored a screamer:

22 Dec 2015 10:58:10
Ed001. Who is Murdoch playing for at the moment? I can't remember and can he be brought back in January? It would be like a new signing. Also I see Hardie scored for the youth team last night even though they lost 2-1.

{Ed001's Note - Cowdenbeath.}

22 Dec 2015 11:38:21
I don't think Warburton rates Murdoch which is a shame because I think he plays the DM role very well. Whenever he played last season he did a terrific job of covering the full back positions when they attacked, something which we could be doing with now.

22 Dec 2015 13:11:19
Fraser91

Agree Murdoch was outstanding against Hibs last season when we beat them 2-1 at Easter Road. Totally nullified Allan and covered every inch of the park. Was really surprised when he didn't get a look in and was sorry to see him shipped out. Getting him back in January would be a step in the right direction.

22 Dec 2015 15:39:17
He was a stand out in possibly the worse side we have ever had. It's very dissapointing that MW seemed to take one look and decided he was not good enough.

For me he is a limited player but his strengths were his tackling, workrate mobility and decent pace in a defensive mid roll. What we are missing. McCall though a lot of him and expressed his surprise that he had been farmed out. Just a guess but MW maybee doesn't think he's a good enough passer?

22 Dec 2015 16:10:53
Murdoch or halliday. would keep each other on there toes hopefuly.
