Absolute rubbish- last Summer people like this were saying Boyd gone= no title, then Miller started scoring. Why can Jelavic not take his place? Naismith, Davis, Weiss, Lafferty and whoever we bring in should score goals. Kenny Miller was over-rated for every goal he scored he missed five chances, his first touch was abysmal.

Throughout his career Gennaro Gattuso has promised to return to Rangers one day.
A few years ago he said "I won't go at 35 or 36, I'll go when I've still got something to offer them".
He is now 33 and his contract with Milan runs out this year, so expect to see him come in in the Summer.

whats with all the people repeating over and over about gattuso. Get real man he aint comin back, just becuase he made some stupid promise 13-14 years ago. nacho novo said he would spend the rest of his career at rangers. boydy rejected birmingham saying that theres a chance he would still sign a new contract with us, but did nacho stay? did boyd stay? and even miller. when it comes to promises with rangers it means nothing. and don't say but gattusos wife is scottish so he will come back, so what that has nothing to do with football so stop repeating over and over about gattuso rumours that are one load of bull

The rumours about Tim Matavz are just that. Absolutely nothing in the Dutch newspapers about him signing for Rangers, contrary to "It's all over the Dutch newspapers" from a previous poster. If it is give us the links.

Spoke to a few people regarding the matavz story. Soory lads, but this is just a wind up. It started as a twitter message, made its way onto a few forums n hey presto the guy has a medical after groningens match tomorow. The fact that the original message was posted by a guy called peter huistra kinda gives it away? Its all over the web, even made its way onto the guys wiki page, but was quickly removed. Have this from my usual very reliable source, hopin ED may also be able to clarify?
Latest ive heard is we're tryin our best to get shot of beattie, i must admit i noticed walter failed to mention him when talkin about our selection of strikers, he even mentioned fleck as a possible cf, but no beattie?
ED, you heard or know anything about any of this?

Boyd is linked with Bursaspor and reported to be offered 50k a week but the lure of pulling on the blue jersey might be more tempting than the money.

And where did that get him? His game is suited to the SPL! Why would he want to try Turkey after he failed in England. I've no idea if he'll be back by end of January but would certainly accept him back. Any news ed? {ed's note - I have not heard anything definite other than he wants out and did sound out Rangers about a return.}
