James Morrison and Steven Fletcher deals are up as well not that I think we could land thm be great if we did though.

23 Nov 2015 15:25:00
Would take Morrison but think we have no chance as for Fletcher never guy's a dud.

23 Nov 2015 15:35:34
You can keep steven fletcher lol wouldn't sign him for brora rangers never mind glasgow rangers. morrison most definitely.

23 Nov 2015 19:21:06
I would take steven fletcher at rangers in a minute, if fletch stays injury free he's a good all round striker, much rather have him than kyle lafferty! Can't believe anyone with half a football brain can call steven fletcher a dud! Get a grip, when free if injuries he's an english premiership standard player and he's tremendous in the air.

23 Nov 2015 22:18:28
Celtic want Fletcher
Fletcher was quality v Poles
First touch was impeccable
Work rate was fantastic
Took has goal brilliantly
Great in the air
Great finisher with both feet
And has top class defensive game
Someone in EPL will take him again
If the Mackhams don't give him a deal.

22 Nov 2015 22:54:33
Aluko never walked out his deal was up. Big difference he never took a year that was on the table why woukd he? Was 23 at the time with the world at his feet he had to test himself to se what level he could play and how far he coukd go. Turns out the injury stopped him competing in EPL. Prob a decent championship player now and within our capabilities to entice home slayed the Celts good enough for me Ness did to but his levels league one or else somebody higher would have took him. Fleck deals running out to we sold him.

23 Nov 2015 08:55:59
Steve Bruce reckoned Aluko would take the EPL by storm when he signed him. Great wee player, very unlucky with injury though. Too risky for me.

22 Nov 2015 20:17:50
Barry Bannan Kevin McDonald Alan McGregor Sone Aluko deals are up soon would take all of them.

22 Nov 2015 21:02:30
No to bannan and no to greegsy.

22 Nov 2015 21:29:42
Why would you want McGregor? He couldn't wait to desert the club and he and the others who deserted should never be welcomed back. Would rather sign Boruc than him.

22 Nov 2015 21:39:43
Wee ally, I have to agree with both cee and biffo316,greegsy made his bed and can lie in it just like the other traitors ie. lafferty, naismith, whittaker, ness mccabe etc, they will never be welcome at ibrox and we don't want any of them back and I would that's the voice of the majority of rangers supporters!

23 Nov 2015 01:13:40
Rangers are at a stage were we need guys that have been there and done it. If we are to mount any serious challenge to Celtic when we go up. Time we stopped being so childish some guys left but they had to for there career to play for Scotland. Guys got families to support maybe now they have made there cash they could come back and help us win things again? Am sure that is what they want to look back on there career at medals? Unless am completely wrong and there mersonary like is suggested. Every one would improve us including Whittaker another guy out of contract like Aluko.

23 Nov 2015 08:30:00
Wee Ally

Sorry but your last post is complete nonsense. No one is suggesting we kept hold of these players the main gripe was that they left for nothing and the club didn't get any much needed money. Those guys turned their back on the club and left without caring what happened to the club or the supporters. At the time no one knew what was happening with the club yet those players who had been paid well deserted. Rangers had been good to these players and in the case of Naismith had seen him through 2 major injuries. Nothing to do with being childish I like many others can't forgive their betrayal and don't want any back at the club.

23 Nov 2015 10:38:14
HAND GRENADE TIME

Does anyone think Waggy misses too many sitters to be the main man next season (assuming we get up) ?

23 Nov 2015 11:40:09
I would have preferred if Macgregor, Naismith, Whittaker and everyone stayed so they club got more money. Then Green and co could have siphoned off even more cash. Wouldn't that have been great!

I for one don't blame one of those guys for going, at least the spivs never benefited from that because the club never would have. Much the same as the 70 million they burned through.

23 Nov 2015 17:04:59
Biffo
I agree wholeheartedly with you re Naismith. We saw him through 2 career threatening injuries and as soon as he gets the chance he bolts. Fair enough if he didn't want to play in Div 3 - I have no issue with that, but do it the right way. Guys like Bocanegra, Goain and Edu did it the right way. They didn't want to stay and play in the lower divisions but made sure the club received compensation for them. Shame on wee Naismith. I though he was better than that.

23 Nov 2015 15:38:27
Barry banon passing ability is emmense. still think michael chopra. cheap price, cheap wage from alloa.

23 Nov 2015 19:01:51
And Green trousered it so they'd have all been better leaving for nothing, knowing what we know now. But you're right Seeker, at least their intentions were hounorable.

23 Nov 2015 21:56:52
Gkk

Not disputing what Green did but at the time no one knew this was happening certainly not the players who left. If they did they should have said something to the fans rather than desert like the rats they are.

22 Nov 2015 19:59:04
U thought we were going after Scottish guys
Good young Scots going around to deal up
Like Blair Alston at Falkirk good player
Why spend money on a English guy?
When there is Scots boys around who know what its all about young hungry players?

22 Nov 2015 20:04:20
Greg kiltie would be a descent buy imo.

23 Nov 2015 14:18:55
From what I have saw he has something
Pacey direct good ball on him
Just a kid a raw talent to work with
Our acadamy is virtually dead
So why not unless he signs new deal
Ness came out there youths Naismith to and Broadfoot and Boyd.

23 Nov 2015 23:03:05
Ally please explain how our academy is dead?

22 Nov 2015 19:35:58
Our chief scout, frank mcparland has been watching and is highly recommending to mark warburton that we sign accrington stanley midfielder, josh windas in January, he's only 21 years old and is the son of former Aberdeen attacking midfielder dean windas, young josh windas is a goalscoring midfielder and has only over a year to run on his contract, it's reporting 250k would get the deal done in January.

22 Nov 2015 20:22:59
I thought Dean Windass was a centre forward. Anyway, hope we get the boy if Mcparland likes him.

22 Nov 2015 21:42:49
Never a centre forward gkk, he was a no.10 if you like, a second striker mate which really is an attacking mid.

22 Nov 2015 23:04:21
Ok mate, whatever you say.
I respect you're opinion regardless.

22 Nov 2015 19:17:24
Now eustace deal is off we urgently need an iron man in the middle and revert to the Spurs set up 4-2-3-1

Tav
Ball
Kiernan
Wallace

Halliday
Iron man

Holt
Zeladem
Thompson

Waggy.

22 Nov 2015 19:41:27
Dnt think Tony starks available mate lol

WATP.

22 Nov 2015 21:32:43
Maybe Robert Downey Jr is available?

22 Nov 2015 20:16:05
Iron man! I'm actually pissing myself here! Brilliant!

22 Nov 2015 22:03:09
Who was iron Man meant to be?

{Ed033's Note - Iron Man is possibly, Darren Fletcher (Made in Scotland from Girders)

22 Nov 2015 23:09:10
Hope you're wearin your incontinence pants tonight, Dunder.

22 Nov 2015 23:41:35
Dh88, they sell special adult nappies but you can't find them in pound shops mate.

22 Nov 2015 19:13:53
We should look at Chris Herd ex Villa
Out of contract soon in league one
Over his injuries young enough to sell on
If he comes north and resurrects his career
We need a defensive midfielder
Reckon other teams will want him to
Failing that we could go for Eggert Johnson
Going to a finals with his nation Iceland
Ex Hearts so knows the Scittish game
We should sound out Barry Ferguson
And ask if he thinks he is good enough
Out of contract soon ex team mate.

22 Nov 2015 15:20:39
If we do sign any players in January
I hope none are loanees as the manager keeps talking about bedding
In players for next season
And Loanees just seem to me a cheap
Way of trying to get back to premier
League . Now we have a scout and
A growing backroom staff I hope
They can see where we need to strengthen for next season if we get
Promoted.

22 Nov 2015 13:19:08
How bad has this become, now we have a few daft sheep that have strayed from there flock to demo at a deserted Hampden, congratulations you couple of fools, hope when we get back up this year we don't forget these bam pots and there teams, also get dean windass boy josh decent boy also Aaron moy he was at st mirren a couple a seasons ago but plays with Melbourne now good hard attacking strong tackling boy could get him for a song, follow follow from sunny perth Australia and a big hello hello to the Carronshore Rsc great bunch a guys and thanks for your hospitality a few weeks ago.

22 Nov 2015 13:48:12
I`ve read articles in the last few weeks, where M Warbuton has quoted he has had full backing, from the board and owner on any players he`s wanted.

who do you think the mystery owner he keeps mentioning is?

22 Nov 2015 14:11:21
Just how often has he kept mentioning it? Not really been paying attention.

22 Nov 2015 14:22:41
I think he is just mistaken as I don't think there is an owner of Rangers and he is probably talking about Dave King, thinking he is the owner. However, to the best of my knowledge he only has 15% of the shares.

22 Nov 2015 07:09:48
I don't get a chance to see many games but 12 wins, one draw and one defeat is hardly a disaster. I do feel that Hardie and Walsh should be given a run and let's get Murdoch back in January! We could be six points clear of Hibs after we play them on 28th December which would be fine by. Me.

22 Nov 2015 10:02:59
the team seems shot shy, trying to walk the ball into the net, yesterdays game a typical example of trying to score against a packed defence, Hibs will drop points, Hardie and Walsh can offer something different, Oduwa and Zelalem don't have a genuine goal scoring threat but we must remain upbeat about the rest of the season.

22 Nov 2015 00:55:15
Do you think we will bring in any new players in January?

THe reason I ask is that as much I would like to bring in new players and as much as I would like to stengthen the weak areas of the team, I am not sure we will. The reason I have doubts is that the board have already announced that we need to borrow money to balance the books this season and we may even have to pay Charles Green's legal fees.

22 Nov 2015 10:17:01
Bosshogg a think we will sign players in january all be it might be loans but mw keeps his cards close to his chest about players and doesn't go to papers and say we want this guy or that guy am sure he has his eye on 1 or 2 for january and imo dean shiels, nicky clarke, cammy bell, could all be sold to raise funds don't think they r good enough for rangers.
