With all the calls to sign a creative number 10 to e midfield player shouldn’t we also be calling to offload some of our other midfielders and free up the wage bill?

Doherty
That’s a lot of names and a lot of wages for what is presumably two jerseys should a number 10 be signed.

Yip we have a lot of midfielders but we need a better attacking midfielder.
Halliday is the utility man and will continue to cover a number of positions and McCrorie is probably last in the pecking order right now. I can see him going on a 6 month loan and we bring in a no. 10 on loan in the window, I’d also like another striker if possible.

I agree. Haven’t seen Halliday have a bad game and cover two positions. I’m wondering about Coulibaly if I’m honest. He’s not done a lot to shout about after showing promise initially.

Coulibaly will be off at end of loan as will ejaria. Holt out of contract at end of season so will go either in jan or then.
I agree mcrorie maybe out on loan if rossiter can stay fit.

Why not sign shankland scoring for fun give the lad a change to see what he’s got . We need that’s up top will definitely grab us 10 goals in the league this season and if we qualified for Europe league?

Why are people putting the boot in on Shankland. Some players have to drop down to find their feet and come back a stronger player.
He can score and we don't seem to have any others than can!

Disagreeing with an out and out FACT is the height of stupidity. Rangers are the top scorers in the league, FACT. Sorry if you don't like that Timothy, but disagreeing with it doesn't change anything. I don't even know why you's are bothered by that, you's are top of the league but disagreeing because we have scored more goals.

Young docherty's goal was a cracking goal! I hope most definitely hope, gerrard brings him back in january, along with the signing of steven davis!
Like i said before even docherty went on loan to shrewsbury town, that docherty could learn so much from davis being around him as he has a lot of similar attributes, to davis!

I'm hearing all this about bring Greg back in Jan ECT. Greg D is doing a great job down there however he is playing at a lower level of football and should be lighting it up.
Imo he should stay where he is as he is getting a regular game time. Which I don't think he will get if he returns. Further to this once his loan is complete I would loan him out again for a further 6 month to a English championship team to see if he can cope with a higher level of football.

For a kick off Jboy21, steven davis would start before any other midfielder we currently have, if we do sign him! There's no current midfielder at rangers better than davo, simple as that! Docherty the way he's performing, would enhance our squad big time mate! He's a box to box midfielder!

Id be happy with docherty coming in to replace coulibaly at the end of each of their respective loans.

But going forward Davis too old, Docherty to stay away till next season, he needs games.
Docherty playing at a low level, although he will be back.
