Bears do you think MW will change it up like he usually does for the cup (Gilks Hodson MOH) or stick to his usual team.

22 Oct 2016 19:49:15
I personally don't see it but wouldn't be surprised. To be honest I'd rather see Hodson in the side. Tav has been fantastic but seems to have lost his goal threat this season. Wilson may be out so I'd go with a back 4 of Hodson Senderos Hill Wallace. Halliday Holt Windass with Forrester Miller MOH up top.

22 Oct 2016 19:54:17
Gilks maybe but I seriously doubt MOH will be in from the start. McKay Miller Waghorn will start.

22 Oct 2016 20:46:24
Got to disagree with Tav losing his goal threat as i think he looks the most likley to create or score which doesn't say to much abt us when he's our RB.

23 Oct 2016 00:05:24
If he changes the team drastically, ie putting in MOH, Hodson, Gilks, Foerster, Dodoo etc. and we get turned over in a horrible way, then there'll be a lot of questions regarding his team selection for the two games against that lot, to say the least and to be fair to MW.

In all honesty, if he was going to change it up for this one, ie going with the "cup players", like MOH, Hodson, Gilks etc. he'd have had a couple play at least some part at ICT.

It'll be the usual eleven, 4-3-3 we're used to. Windass likely in place of Kranjcar, who even if he wasn't injured, wouldn't have featured in some fans starting 11 picks for this game anyway.

23 Oct 2016 12:02:32
Bryan, tav has been fantastic but leave him out because he's lost his goal threat? 😮 ok if hodson plays I'll bet him for a hatrick.

22 Oct 2016 17:26:56
Forderingham Tav Hill Willson Wallace Halliday O'Halloran Windass Mckay Dodoo Miller that team has plenty of pace.

22 Oct 2016 20:40:24
Not enough midfield dig for me neil. Holt will start was hoping rossiter would make it to strengthen central area but seems he's jinxed.

23 Oct 2016 12:04:32
No Jason holt in there when he has clearly made a difference since coming back from injury? Also I hope the windass injury woes are behind him now I'm excited about seeing this lad get a run in the team.

22 Oct 2016 17:00:41
Feeling good about tomorrow, hoping the last result has put fire into these boys to go out and do the job, needing a lot more desire from some of them. Just hope MW comes through with a good lineup.

22 Oct 2016 18:11:14
Let's see how good your feeling this time tomorrow. Heard it all the same before the 5-1 humping. What has happened since then to think Rangers have improved enough to beat Celtic. By 4 pm tomorrow this forum will be full of posters demanding Warburtons head because they think that because it's Rangers they have a right to win. The players are average at best. Rangers will not win tomorrow and won't get a win over Celtic till some better quality players are bought. Nothing to do with Warbs. There is no funding to dramatically improve the team.

Johnnymac: No matter the result tomorrow I may criticise Warbs but I certainly won't be asking for his head.

22 Oct 2016 20:19:18
Max you will be one of the few who won't be but fair play to you.

Any word on when the English FA are going to investigate Ashley for his involvement in two clubs. My understanding is if Newcastle win promotion straight back into the premier league we are stuck with Ashley for ages. Newcastle are sitting to of the championship just now so our club should be pushing the FA on if and when proceedings might start. Want Ashley of our back asap and this would be the only way to get rid of him for good. Any thoughts from other bears.

22 Oct 2016 17:16:18
Think he's moved his shares so no longer a problem unfortunately.

22 Oct 2016 15:00:25
Hi guys, any1 think a 3M bid for Defoe on cards after Sunderland get relegated this season?

22 Oct 2016 15:43:04
wheres the 3m coming from?

22 Oct 2016 17:01:15
as good as defoe is he's a bit old now and I doubt we can afford 300k never mind million.

23 Oct 2016 11:45:08
Antondow - you win prize for most ridiculous post ever. Congratulations.

23 Oct 2016 12:03:44
3million bid for Defoe! Is it April fools today! Haha, that gave me a giggle!

23 Oct 2016 13:01:41
If we have 3m to spend then it should be on a centre back! let's see what funds are available. When King failed to magic up a transfer budget for Warburton in the summer he did mention acquiring players if needs be to guarantee top two come January. let's see what happens in two months time or what King's latest excuse is!

22 Oct 2016 11:58:40
Aye but do you not think it happens more regular at our club it's been like that as far as I can remember.

22 Oct 2016 11:26:49
It makes you wonder what they do in training eh. plus all is quiet on the crooks front again I give up!

22 Oct 2016 11:43:05
Players get injured in training all the time, that's part of football as for crooks iv not got a clue what's happening with him.

22 Oct 2016 16:35:35
Crooks has been training its getting match sharpness that's his problem.

23 Oct 2016 12:03:40
We took a punt on crooks, not much of a mystery- he's been injured now he hasn't done enough in training to force his way into team.

Don't understand the hype.

23 Oct 2016 12:21:36
Crooks has been out so long he's no where near match speed, don't expect any information on players until after the old firm game. information is a prisoner at these times.

22 Oct 2016 10:32:09
I was reading somewhere that rossiter will miss tomorrow after picking up another injury at training is this true?

22 Oct 2016 10:46:59
Surely no I'm beginning to think this boys made of glass. They must be kicking lumps out of each other in training the amount of injuries they're picking up.

22 Oct 2016 11:17:42
Think Liverpool let him go due to injuries.

22 Oct 2016 11:44:28
Sometimes young players get a series of injuries, it's just their bodies adjusting to adulthood.

22 Oct 2016 11:47:46
Something is wrong with the training programme. There's too many getting injured off the park. It's not just Rossiter.

22 Oct 2016 12:32:38
Totally agree Monty there has been too many injuries in training . It has got to be looked at.

22 Oct 2016 14:11:49
The lad has always been prone to injuries. Likewise Krancjar. No surprises with either sustaining more injuries just as across the city nobody will remotely be surprised whenever Forrest is next ruled out.

I disagreed last year with Warbs over plastic pitches causing injuries so what's the excuse this year when we have definitely had more problems on the injury front.

22 Oct 2016 17:02:11
you seriously aren't trying to blame Warburton for these injuries? any excuse for a go at the manager.

22 Oct 2016 10:15:48
I know it's a long shot. does anyone have any spares for tomorrow?

22 Oct 2016 11:49:32
thats probably the funniest joke I've seen in the banter section in a while. Good one mate.

22 Oct 2016 13:02:58
You an usually pick one up if you grab the supporters buses as they arrive.

22 Oct 2016 08:50:36
Keep seeing people saying that it will be usual top 3 or x, y, z will be playing. Think you are in for a shock tomorrow when MW plays his league cup team, Tav or Wallace will start on bench so Hodsom can play. A few if not all of these lads will be playing; Harry, Dodoo, MOH, Rossiter, Crooks, Garner and Windass. Gilks is starting for sure. Look at the QoS lineup and that'll give you an idea of the team we will use. MW has said to some of the lads they are guaranteed cup games and I don't think he'll go back on his word. Some of you who have blind favouritism for likes of McKay etc are in for a big shock.

22 Oct 2016 11:13:18
I think the only shock everyone will get tomorrow will be if you manage to beat us.

22 Oct 2016 11:42:51
I'm shocked that you can form a full sentence and you know to operate a qwerty keyboard. Tell the truth, have you scribbled all over your screen with crayons. I won't tell anybody.

22 Oct 2016 11:47:55
Listen mate, rangers are building solid foundations just like Rodgers is at Celtic, but the major difference is rangers are doing it from scratch, which means it's going to take a year or two before we're back to where Rangers were before 2012,but we will get there.

23 Oct 2016 11:52:28
Personally I would leave Wallace out of the team. At least with Halliday as captain we have a decent leader on the park instead of the quiet man!

Personally I wouldn't play McKay either, he doesn't like hard challenges and goes missing. Only problem with Forrester is that he will be at risk of a red card and we will certainly miss Kranjcar. With Rossiter injured and Crooks presumably not match fit we will inevitably struggle yet again to name a quality bench!

23 Oct 2016 11:46:12
Don't think Gilks will play, when you consider he hasn't been tested, only played against E Stirling Stranraer and Annan, Fod played in the only tough League cup game (v Mwell) so that suggests to me it will be Fod in goal.
Gilks hasn't had any tests in the matches he has played so can't see it being him.
