I think it's funny how the Celtic fans think they can still come on and have a pop at the big guns. Yeah we have sliped agen but we will bounce back agen. after all how els are Celtic going to win anything with out other teams slipping up. haha. Spl ours once more Ger4life

Believable4 Unbelievable4

You lot only won the league last year because Celtic slipped up against ICT, get a grip of yourself

Agree2 Disagree10

In reply to the first comment: because the other 90 odd points that both teams accumulated counted for nothing compared to that one game? Muzz

Agree4 Disagree0

We won because the title is played out over the course of a season and we won more points. The fact that Celtic have NO BOTTLE and a dimwit for a manager certainly helped though :)

Agree7 Disagree3

We won because we had more points than you at the end of the season, not rocket sience! and if my aunt had balls she would have been my uncle but she doesn't but you can use the but if excuse sadsack. to put it simply if you want to win this title win more point, but ofcourse you wont because were wil keep the title AGAIN.

Agree3 Disagree0

And rangers certainly showed alot of BOTTLE last night with their dimwit manager.

Agree1 Disagree5

Top o the league and Champions 3 seasons running. And hammered your mob. One match doesn't change that. Beat it back to the losers page. This is the CHAMPIONS page.

Agree6 Disagree1

To all the Celtic fans replying on this. You lost the league last season because your just not good enough just not good enough. When we see you Celtic we think second best your just not good enough

Agree3 Disagree3

And how did you chumpions league campaign go this season.........oot.................and Europa campaign.......oot..........and then the league cup? oot.

If Fat Paul Le Guen hadn't won on Sunday his head would've been called for so don't get ahead of yourself just yet.

I said when Sir Walter was going, we need a leader On the park and off it.

On the park we nee Weir back for his leadership, and off the park i'm afraid it's going to take someone like Souness to kick doors and asses.

Ally hasn't got it because he can't get rid of the grin in his face, so even when he's unhappy, nobody really takes him seriously.

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Steven Davis ? Even tho we don't hear him in the press much he is a natural born leader. Weir is in the spotlight. Is that not enough ?

I think Whyte should sack McCoist, he's never a manager! 45 mins against a poorly performing Celtic side is all they've managed to muster this season. That, allied with HMRC sniffing about the backside of the club....ouch!

Troubled times........Miko

Believable3 Unbelievable10

What does that say for your ginger balls if your 4 points behind us in the league? 4IAR

Agree3 Disagree0

Haha, thanks for cleaning that up for me Ed.....limited vocabulary, lol....Miko

Agree1 Disagree1

Miko lmao you wish he gets the sack cause he's got the beating of Lennon. It wasn't that Celtic were poor Rangers were just to good. Don't you worry about the tax case cause I'm not. I will let our owner (Whyte) worry about that and all us supporters will follow Rangers and back McCoist.
In Ally We Trust
FF81

Agree4 Disagree1

So you agree then? lol....Miko

Agree1 Disagree0

I agree with Miko, Sally will be first to go after Lennon lifts the TREBLE hail hail Timalloy
PS all I can say bears is "Where's your Treble Gone?" HMRC Emerald

Agree2 Disagree2

Haha, ridiculous! Let me educate you, McCoist beats Lennon over 45 mins and on that basis you make some generalising statement that he's got the beating of Lennon - the same manager who had the beating of your greatest ever - Sir Wattie!

In regards to the tax case, Whyte aint worried about the tax case because see the £18m of debt that he's "holding", it's going straight back to the club once you lose the case. For the last 15 years Rangers have been evading tax which makes a mockery of the league wins you've had during that period!

I hope you've seen the error of your ways my child, now run off for your bedtime bath, lol....Miko

Agree2 Disagree2

Cheers Tim, what was Lennon's record against Smith?

Not much happening on here tonight, is there?....Miko

Agree1 Disagree1

Hey miko and timalloy "mind that gap bhoys"

Agree1 Disagree0

One more thing, on a serious note - this is not a wind up. I have it on good authority that Rangers' books are absolutely horrendous and the club was being run like a corner shop in that regard. This is why we're hearing of instances of backdated tax discrepancies at the club.

I can't name my source, it's up to you whether you believe this to be true!....Miko

Agree1 Disagree3

Mind that guy with the bowler hat!! lol....Miko

Agree2 Disagree0

Miko is a walloper. LMAO at the garbage he's spouting. Remind me where you are in the league again and have been for the last 3 seasons? 4IAR here we go.

Agree2 Disagree2

Answer me one thing, the man with no name. Like everything else, who managed 3 in a row first? You'll always play catch up with the Glasgow Celtic.

Always remember, we've won what you spent a fortune trying to win! Need I go on, lol.....you'll never beat me....Miko x

Agree0 Disagree2

Now now timalloy dont get to excited about us going out of cup last night we've accepted it and getting on with it .Wish you lot would be as gracious to instead of blaming everybody but yourselves when it goes wrong. Dont forget youz are the backdoor qualifiers so dont mock ... WATP LARKYELLIS

Agree1 Disagree0

Remember the guy wi the bunnet too miko .... took time but youz got there. Just lets wait and see before youz get too excited after all we are the people. LARKYELLIS

Agree1 Disagree1

4iar? please try and get new material.
Miko is telling you bears the truth about how your club was run. Murray spent £80m to try and equal Celtic's European Cup win and failed.
But HMRC dont just stick a pin in a book they only investigate where they think there is wrong doing. Your debt is still there just whyte has moved it to one of his companies. Administration is a serious issue, not just 10 points deduction. Stick your heads in the sand if you want. Timalloy

Agree1 Disagree2

Timalloy. Us get some new material?? 67 was exactly that 1967. Can all Timothy's please go away and stop spouting pish and worry about what gingernuts is doing to your own manky mob. This is the CHAMPIONS page.

Agree4 Disagree1

HARHARHAR playing catch up with Celtic. Are you having a giraffe Miko. I didn't realise this was a comedy page. You will never be beaten in your mind because you are clearly delusional.

The man with no name.

Agree3 Disagree1

Miko and Timmaloy. I visit this site every now and then and you boys are always having a go. How sad and pathetic can you get? You must really hate the Champions like. I think you boys need to take a long look at yourselves as you are cleary obsessed! Get a bird or something because from where I'm standing you must have EXTREMELY dull lives! Some of my good friends are Celtic lads and they agree your wee LOSERS! As people keep om saying, this is the Champions page! You have no place here. {Ed014's Note - It is a banter site so everyone is allowed to post.Editors decide, not other posters.

Agree1 Disagree0

Aye thats fair enough Ed. Your not getting my point. I would have to be a right sado to constantly be posting on a Celtic page as i support Rangers and dont give a crap about any other teams banter or supporters! I am obsessed with Glasgow Rangers! Champions! {Ed014's Note - I'm not getting your point,I can't actually see what your point is.A banter site wouldn't work without opposition fans posting.Or will we just fill the page with Rangers fans saying how good we are? That would really make the site enjoyable wouldn't it?People who don't understand banter must lead very dull lives in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactly Ed but the thing is when i went on the tims page for a bit a banter their Ed wouldn't post it simply because they can't take it. It was nothing malicious just simply banter.....

CG WATP {Ed014's Note - There are plenty of Rangers fans posts on their page.

Agree1 Disagree0

Maybe so but I proved him wrong and he couldnt take it, so never posted it.

Where the hell has Darren Cole disapeared to? Plays well in the champions league last season and is not seen again. Hutton could have done a job for us last night. Perry was great in two games he played and has not been seen since. Fleck either gets 10 minutes or played out on the wing where he's useless when he needs 10 games in a row. Bendiksen looks useful, probably better than Ortiz and maybe Bedoya (played well against Chelsea). Playing these young boys 1 game every 3 months is no good for them or Rangers. The more young players play at other clubs the better they get. What the F*** are we up to. Come on Ally grow a set and play hungry fast players. Whenever we've given our youth an extended run i.e Wilson, Ness, Wylde it's worked out well. WATP

Believable7 Unbelievable0

I believe cole is still injured mate

22 Sep 2011 18:30:38
Perry needs games, McMillan needs games, Fleck needs games in centre midfield or centre forward (not on the wing), Bendiksen looks useful, where has Cole went to after good display in Europe last season. Ally get your finger out FFS and drop McCulloch his lack of pace, urgency and creativity effects the whole team (similar to when we had to accomodate Weir by playing dangerously deep). Sort it out Ally or you won't last.

22 Sep 2011 16:50:37
Ally should have played all or more
of our young guns against Falkirk.
They at least would have matched
Falkirk's enthusiasm. How else can
they get the experience that the
Falkirk youngsters got last night?

Our first team think they can beat
inferior opposition 'any time' like they
did against Malmo, Maribor and now
Falkirk and worse in previous seasons.

Be careful Ally, unless we have to
add Dunfermline to that list.

Senior Citizen Teddy Bear.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I agree mate. We bet Kilmarnock 4-0 with the reserves who says we could not have beat Falkirk 4-0 +

I watched game on RANGERS tv & must say the difference between last night & sunday was we went from playing with a midfield who were on the front foot the whole game with forward passes & great movement off the ball, 2 one which done the old sideways passes very pedestarian, although laff & healy didn't have good games the service they got was pish poor & this my friends is down 2 playing with guys like lee mcculloch who doesn't pass forwards & stands & admires his sideways passes when he makes them, when we got knocked out of europe I am taking it SUPER ALLY had been told by MR WHYTE that we need 2 slash wage bill, so why keep the likes of mcculloch & weir who has been a great service 2 our club but I can't see him playing that much, so the 2 of them will be draining the club of money & the other point is we have sent hutton on loan who can do better job than mcculloch & I know he doesn't have the experience of weir but with only domestic cups up for grabs I would always have perry on bench rather than weir & I agree with SUPER ALLY about the team going a goal down before they wake up I have been saying this since SIR WALTER came back I hated his tactics loved the cups he 1 but 1 thing I never levelled at him was that his teams were up for it from the first minute, when he had his first stint in charge of RANGERS I went home & away just about every game & I know that he was always on touchline screaming instructions 2 players I think we take a 2 namby pamby approach now with these overpaid players in case they spit the dummy I would rather play a youngster who wants 2 get a place in team & has desire just like the young players from falkirk last night who were excellent I may add do they get paid fortunes no they don't but they have desire & energy in abundance so it's time 2 cut the cords SUPER ALLY let deadwood go & give our youngsters & our club room 2 breathe.
WATP 70

Believable6 Unbelievable1

It is about attitude and pfofessionalism, Rangers were guilty of lacking both, well done Falkirk though, as they played the game to they're strengths and won. Still raging tho'................ 4 in a row

Agree2 Disagree2

Agree we need to move on give young guys a chance

Agree1 Disagree0

Rangers looked good in the second half on Sunday because Celtic played badly. If Celtic had played in the second half like they did for the last 15 minutes of the first half Rangers would have struggled.

Agree2 Disagree5

Ceptic played badly because RANGERS played they way I said they did on the front foot & blew them away & ceptic couldn't live with it.ceptic played well for 15 mins because RANGERS sat back & let them example for hooper goal edu pushed & chased ceptic fans favourite scapegoat samass back 2 half way line the rest of RANGERS players were at least 20 yards back not pushing up, the same with second nobody pushed out 2 meet kaduri & I must add both goals came from whittakers side although brown was free 2 run unchalleged across the box, this did not happen in second half because I have no doubts whittaker got a rocket up his arse so RANGERS would not have struggled because ceptic are s**t & bottle themselves when pressured in their own half as their defenders are bombscares as well as their keeper,as just about every ceptic fan keeps telling us
WATP 70

Agree0 Disagree0

Why can the Tims not accept their beating like men. They didn't perform in the second half because Rangers piled into them from the whistle and never let up until the death. That was the kind of breathtaking football we should have been expecting from Ally and I know he is moving towards that but we need to get behind the team and lift them once again!

Last night was disappointing. The players were not good enough, they dominated Celtic on Sunday and they think that makes them brilliant and that they just need to turn up and beat Falkirk. It was the same last season, we beat Celtic 3-1 away at Parkhead and then drew 1-1 with ICT at Ibrox. The manager can remind them they will need to play at their best but ultimately once they cross the line it is down to the players.

We will now miss out on 3 potential big games plus bonuses, I think we will have lost about £1m+ in revenues, add that to income we lost going out of europe makes bad reading, when every penny counts.

Re: actually mate gers and celts run at a loss in th league cup ... the total bonus' for goals, appearances and winning it means that overall for the hole competition the OF team that wins the cup loses more than they earn ...... extremly poor money for league cup. Still performance was unacceptable ... the fact we scored two goals in 7 mins after they scored showed who the superior team ... attitude in the first half was a disgrace ... but hey beter to make that mistake last night than in the league if u ask me.

Germinator

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Germinator, do your sums 3 games left to play 2 at hampden, say average of 30,000 at these hamden games at £20 for an example over £1.2m, plus bonuses, might be poor bonuses but still bonuses say £250,000 add in sponsors, advertisements match day sales you do the sums germinator, plus if you win first trophy it gives team a lift, raises profile of club abroad and makes domestic treble possible. some gers fans live with head in sand

Agree1 Disagree2

Lol ... ur just plucking out whatever figures u wanna .... u think teams get all the gate reciepts from hampden games?.... Wrong, you think they get money from match day income ... food programmes nope these belong to SFA and Hampden. Advertising money foes to hampden and SFA not teams in there. The bonus for winning a semi final in league cup is honestly something like 70k ! that doesnt cover the bonus' paid to players for playing in the games. ie appearance bonus, goals bonus' team bonus' for winning. Trust me the OF do not turn a profit from the league cup. And as far raising profile elsewere ... people in france, italy etc prob dont even know we run two cup comps let alone who wins it !
Im not saying i didnt wanna win it i was only talking about the financial implications in response to the original post.

Listen lads I'm not the happiest either that we got knocked out last night, but history shows after a good result in an old firm game there is always a potential for a defeat in the next game. Walter himself was always harping on about that stat. These things happen sometimes. I for one am happy it happened in the cup and not the league as has happened before, there is nothing more annoying than gaining three points from an old firm game only to lose or draw the next game and hand them back. Let's just give ally a chance, the team rallied back into the game last night. I would have felt worse had it finished 2-0, we fought back and had we won it ourselves I would have felt proud of our players for their determination not to lose, as it turned out our goalkeeper gifts them a goal at the death and we lose. No one will be more affected than Alexander for that as his mistake has cost him the only games he gets to play in.
Lets face facts here, the two cup competitions only really matter if we win the league to make it a double or a treble, winning either on their own is not deemed success. That goes for Europe too. Celtic won the league when we got to uefa cup final and celebrated, even though we won the league cup and Scottish cup our failure in the league that year puts those acheivements into touch.
Same thing when we won the league when Celtic got to uefa cup final. All history shows is we were champions. Did we not celebrate that title because it felt tainted by the way Celtic collapsed due to European excertions. Of course we didn't, it's our title and always will be. We get judged in the league and we are currently 4 points clear, get behind the team and forget about that result last night because in the grand scheme of things the league is all that matters this year.
4 in a row is what counts and champions league money for next year.
Cmon the Gers make us celebrate like at killie last season.

We are the people.

Attitude not good enough to win seems to be the general consensus so why bother making stupid excuses. Of course we want to win the league cup and the treble so don't play into Timothy's hands and come with all the balls excuses. The point is that the management and the team learned a valuable lesson against Falkirk and if we heed that lesson for the rest of the season we should do the business. Celtic see that we lost and immediately see an opportunity to detract from their own problems which are mounting fast. 4-2 long we have played into their hands so lets unite behind the team and lift them again because that's what its all about! We will now miss out on 3 potential big games plus bonuses, I think we will have lost about £1m+ in revenues, add that to income we lost going out of europe makes bad reading, when every penny counts.
Compare that now to Celtic who will make £5m+ from europe and at least £1m+ if they get to league cup final which they should now do.
So not even taking into account HMRC we are over £6m down this season already, watch when our accounts come out in december they will make heavy reading. worried bear

Dear God boys, so we crashed out of the league cup, is it really the worst upset in the world? No! It happens every year in every cup competition in the world. Remember the year we got knocked out the European cup by AEK, then knocked out the Coca Cola cup by Falkirk then beat by Celtic at Ibrox in the League with a much better squad than we do now?? Still won the league that year on our way to the 9!
Dmrangers

Believable3 Unbelievable1

It all boils down to a f**king POOR ATTITUDE............ unprofessional and it smacks of " it's only Falkirk, so what ". You are only as good as you're last result, and we just lost to a 1st division team of rookies, why ? because we thought we only had to turn up. If they think that gubbing that shower of shoite from the east end is good enough, then we will be posting this kind of stuff more often than not. I believe Rangers should be winning every game we play, and if we don't, then it should be because the other team were better on the day / night and not because of a " superior" attitude !! as was the case last night,
. More annoying than the result is the fact that it only takes the amount of efforts a team has to beat us, be it, one , two or three............ the defending should be SOLID no matter the opposition and you defend from the front, so the whole performance and attitude last night was PATHETIC ! The players should give the travelling fans their money back, diddy cup ,or not, we pay to get entertained and not fleeced. End of rant........... Rangers 'til I die, a but pashed off Bear... plus I wis freezin' !

Agree2 Disagree0

Rangers played with a training ground approach Steven Davis can't run a midfield on his own Healy and mcculloch not good enough no creative play slow predictable very disappointing paying 22quid to watch that dross

Agree2 Disagree1

I'll reply to a couple of things mate, You say if we were beaten then it should be cos the team was the better on the night, well in my opinion Fakirk were better on the night, so what they were "rookies" as you put it, we are not the first and certainly will not be the last team to be put out of the cup! And as for winning every game, I'm sorry but some fans need a reality check, those days are gone. Our club is having to start again from scratch, I hate to say this but us and Celtic would struggle in the championship these days, I'm not defending getting knocked out, it WAS a bad result, but there has been worse n our history and we've bounced back. In Ally I trust
Dmrangers

Agree1 Disagree0

Davis was one of the main issues in showboating his passing skills from side to side... Boreing and we will not get goals from doing that. He has to up his game big time. He is supposed to controle the tempo of the game in CM. He did that allright and we got burned. He should play but he does need someone better than him to control games.

Agree0 Disagree0

And I bet you never paid the 322 for the freezin' cold indignity of it all dmrangers? I did and it was pathetic, and Rangers SHOULD expect to win every game, just as the fans do................ otherwise what is the point ? You must be a 90's spoiled fan, I watched Rangers from 1972 to today, and AYE I still expect us to win every game. Rangers 'til I die.............. Freezin' and raging by the way !

Agree0 Disagree0

That should read £22, btw............ still raging and typing has gone all to pot, Rangers 'til I die

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong, I did pay the £22 to watch the game, and I was there SUPPORTING my team! And if you feel the best way to describe the way you feel is "indignity" don't go back, cos I was there proud to support MY team, so we lost, guess what it happens, move on! And you expect to win every game cos your a fan from 1972? Doesn't really make sense considering we were awful before Souness/Murray came on board and Ibrox was half empty most weeks!! May have been spoiled during the 90's but at least I'm realistic now

Fellow bears, its the same all the time. One win against Celtic and were the greatest thing since sliced bread but then we lose the next and McCoist is tactically naive. Take a look at yourself. We were beaten in the last minute by a goalkeeping error in a cup that is pretty much worthless. I'd have rather seen us play the reserves but look on the bright side. It should give them a shake for Saturday and they will know they don't just turn up at games and win. Trebles gone now but all we all really want is the league.

Can someone tell me why we can go out on sunday and play like kings and last night having near enough the samre team and lose 3-2 ??

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Because players go out thinking they are superstars and that the game is a mere formality. It happens all the time.

The team last night treated the game like a training session, playing the ball about the back like Barca, Davis dropping deep to the edge of his own box and stroking the ball about. We deserved to get beat with that sort of attitude. It showed that our squad is thread bare and when you rest the 3 best players we are a very average side. We should still have had the quality to beat Falkirk last night but they deserved it more than we. It really annoyed me last nights game as it just shows how much some of the players we have in our team that are not the complete end product. When I say that I am also talking about the preparation for games and the approach they took last night.

We are crying out for a quality central midfield player because Edu is not good, Davis is just okay and reached his level (not good enough for EPL and his passing is a bit of a joke, but people think it is one of his strong points)
Congratulations to Falkirk.

Billyboy1 your delusionable pal I praised the team on Sunday your right and I also praised a ally for playing attacking football so how many matches does that buy him before anyone can criticise him certainly not a cup match against falkirk who are managed by a f***witted plonker who speaks like a highlander robot who was probably the worst centre half to ever play for us and them sorry pal listen carefully 3 competitions were out of and its no even winter but if your happy with that do us a favor will ya and keep it to your self

hello bears, your worst nightmare here , a jump the dyke protestant tic fan . don't know why you call us mankies i'm actually a very clean person but hey ho whatever turns you on . anyhoo was looking through your comments and as expected it's a diddy cup and not worth winning as long as you beat us mankies .. but think about it , you have five european nights with nothing to do and now you have three diddy cup matches with nothing to do . and yes i know you'll all support udinese, drew away to milan tonight. rennes won six two away from home tonight and athletico won four nil . i'm not stupid i know we will be lucky to get 3/4 points from that lot but at least it's money coming in as is the diddy cup . you really lead sad blinkered lives if you are happy not to be playing, just as long as you beat us , but if you are happy that way i hope you go out of the scottish cup at the first hurdle .. hail hail !

There is virtually no money in the league cup.

Agree0 Disagree3

There is virtually no money at Rangers football club..........and your point is caller

How is there no money in it .''IF'' we get to final .. could be hibs at home in the quarters that would attract around 25000 dundee united in the semis another 25000 and no matter who in the final would be sell out . i think i've been quite conservative with the first two crowds you could maybe add 10000 to both games which would be a total of around 110,000 , now at say an average of £20 a ticket thats 2.2 million , half of which would be ours . even after expenses and TAX we'd still clear a tidy sum
