A few posters on these pages are stating we badly need a souness or hurlock syle midfielder who's very hard and aggressive and I totally agree with them, the hard, aggressive midfielder who would suit this experienced, defensive midfield role to a tee imo would be our former midfielder and current dundee captain kevin thomson as long as he's fit, I would like to gauge all other rangers fans opinions regarding do they think thomo would fit the bill in this role within our team.

To a degree you are right. My main gripe is playing so far up the field Kompany would look ordinary. In Warb we trust is utter nonsense I can't believe after the last 6 weeks anyone still spouts such utter rubbish. Thrown away a useful lead now hoping to beat the mighty Hibs, Championship Hibs, average Hibs. W and W need to give themselves a shake. We are in a dog fight and although the next game has little real significance on the final outcome how much of a boost to the winners will it give, football is 40% confidence and we need it right now in spades.

Well I trust the manager I think after the start we had any blip would look like a slump the guys have became complacent a freshening up if the squad should give the guys a foot up the backside as some of them have got used to being picked with no challenge as for all the mistrust and lack of faith in the manager it's over the top a few weeks ago the guy was the best thing since sliced bread he hasn't became all of a sudden shit. If we were getting beat at half time but came out and pumped the opposition in the second half the manager would. Be credited with changing things so let him make these changes at the first transfer window. Do people think the man is oblivious to what is happening well I don't he was the one who earmarked the cdm position for someone coming in the man knows. As for all the I would sign this guy, i do this and I would do that well I'm sure when the man does leave the board will be right on this site drawing up a list of candidates. Everyone just relax have faith he is the same guy we were all raving about. Have a good Christmas everyone and be ready to getting right up stubbs and Co on the 28th enjoy!

A man after my own heart gary 75, totally agree mate, cracking post, I've repeatedly said on here before there's way too many doubting thomas rangers fans on here, very fickle indeed, very good, sensible post mate, in warburton and weir we trust and like many others I'll be there at the 'brox on monday afternoon roaring them on to victory over rather LARGE MOUTH stubs and co, I would also just like to take the time to wish all my fellow bears and the ed's a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year, hope you all have a good one! Glasgow rangers WILL be championship champions 2016!

I actually think that hibs have a pretty good team and that we have a really good team. The tempo and consistency has gone from us a little but it is a new and young team they just need to get back on the horse. We definitely could do with putting corners in the box its Scotland and league have been won from goals score from corners lol.

Great post mate and your right we are in a dog fight and currently I'm not so sure we have the players capable of winning the fight. Warburton has seriously underestimated how to play in Scotland and has a January transfer window to try and sort it out. It's clear we need more than the 2 players he wanted and you can be sure Hibs will strengthen too.

A mark Walters out wide would certainly increase our chances of scoring.

I trust the manager. We all seem to be suffering from memory loss, where were we this time last year? Playing utter mince week in and week out. Yes I agree the past few weeks we have hit a dip in form but realistically that was always going to happen. We are still top of the league and the best Xmas gift I can ask for is we wipe that stupid smirk off Stubbs' face on Monday and let's see how well they react bearing in mind the vultures are circling their best players in January. Merry Xmas to you all and hope you all have a great day.

Bifo316 yep you share my concerns. Brilliant start when the weather was fine. This is Scotland and its been proven time and again when the weather turns for the worse you need steel and determination. Not pretty passing with no bite. We need strong experienced players to win the league and a manager who can think on his feet and is not too proud to admit something isn't working and change it immediately. Reflecting Dick A was the last I recall with the grit to accept his own follies. Warbs has show real class in the way he has conducted himself and organised his team. I hope he puts his pride aside and rolls his sleeves up because this isn't going to be pretty.
