Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

23 Dec 2017 21:51:51
There needs to be some sort of protest outside the front of ibrox on Wednesday night before the game to let the board no how we feel we can’t be taking for mugs anymore what’s there famous words the fans are the club well let’s show them fan power time to act now

23 Dec 2017 20:44:18
Another sad day in the life of a rangers supporter the board have a lot to answer for they have had chances time after time to do right by the supporters and shafted us

23 Dec 2017 21:51:27
We are being taken for mugs by this board. The staggering incompetence in the boardroom is matched by the rubbish on the park. We are 1 of the biggest teams in Scotland with the least experienced manager in charge even clubs like Kilmarnock and Ross County have better and more experienced managers than us

23 Dec 2017 23:21:24
think Kilmarnock and ross county have done excellent work getting there managers in as they are both very good managers for size of tham clubs and there is us giving it to murty shows what a joke a board level we are really

24 Dec 2017 00:13:28
Spot on trueblue. Mark Allan remains an enigma. He spent 5 months at the club before appointing a team of 5 people to lead recruitment and development of playing staff - this was done with a PR fanfare! Yet he remains silent over team performance, search for a manager, strategic direction of footballing matters, etc. Mark Allan is a light weight who is keen only to be exposed to fluffy feel good nonsense. When the proverbial hits the fan, he is posted MIA.

23 Dec 2017 20:34:34
Very dark times being a Rangers fan, thinking back to all that has happened you should almost feel thankful we still have a club a stadium and a tiny ounce of pride. I think the one thing that has remained has been the fans loyalty and with that a club can achieve anything. I feel that is now dipping fast which is a huge concern. There is a few in the background making some totally awful decisions and I for one do not trust this Mark Allan one bit. Our great club is on a downward spiral once again and having no qualified manager in place and I mean a manager that's managed clubs winning titles had pressure and 8 to10 transfer windows of experience. We settle for a great guy that's going to be this boards scapegoat. Poor Murty a great future in management but come on. This club requires a presence a gentleman a class above manager but this board settle for an inexperienced youth coach. I'm done with this crazy board. Thanks for saving us any chance now running us with integrity and honesty. Taking these great fans for granted. It needs to stop now!

23 Dec 2017 21:52:57
Appointing Murty was incredible. The biggest job in Scottish football and it’s goes to a novice with no real experience

23 Dec 2017 21:55:10
Picture the scene. Your the under 20s coach and the club ask you to take over as manager of Rangers. Even if you worry that your not good enough to do the job what would you do? . Graeme Murty has done what we would all do. The board are to blame they have thrown the man to the wolves putting the man in this position.

23 Dec 2017 22:34:29
I wish a helluva lot of our supporters, would at least try and digest your post jaws! You're spot on mate, i totally agree with your summing up of who is to blame and the current situation we find our great football club in!

23 Dec 2017 19:52:28
The real problem is we have no strength and depth throughout the squad, when our first 11 or there are suspensions the best we can offer is not up to the task, hogson Bates Kranjcar don’t even start me on rossiter or most of you have forgot about him, even Wee Holtie the Wee man gives 100% but simply not up to the standard gets bullied to easily, I’m struggling to find any positives here anyone?

23 Dec 2017 21:37:38
Looking at are first 11 today that is a English league 1 side at best fodringham from Swindon tav couldn't get a game a Wigan then Wilson bates hodson that is so so weak for a rangers defence then young mcorie aside you got windass who is league one at best same with holt John couldn't get a game at Cardiff. Now I know we got injuries but that side today representing are club is no stronger than are team that one the championship this is are second season back in the top flight the squad should be looking loads stronger.

23 Dec 2017 21:44:49
The real problem is the board who spent
our money on Pedro and gave him the millions
to spend on duds and left us where we are
now that’s the problem

23 Dec 2017 21:53:36
Holt is rotten and shouldn’t be near a side Ike Rangers

23 Dec 2017 19:45:53
I think our next 2 games are home to motherwell and away to celtic. Does anyone actually think we will get any points from these two games. I don't and that would make it 4 defeats in a row!

23 Dec 2017 19:16:04
Our club is rotten from the core . murtys not blame he's just been made a scapegoat we need to get this clueless penniless board out and get people in who know how to run this great institution . Been following since the 70,s and this is the worst team I've ever watched . Absolutley gutted.

23 Dec 2017 19:42:46
Agree but who comes in to replace board

23 Dec 2017 19:15:57
Are we really to believe murty is in charge of finding us new recruits! A youth coach who has never coached at first team level or signed a player is in charge of taking us forward! This appointment is a cover so mark allen can make signings and murty takes the flak! How can a youth coach with no secure future be responsible for bringing in players! Our next manager will still be clearing up warburtons mess on top of pedro's and Murty's! The board had the chance to get a decent manager or even at the very least a manager with experience but this decision sends a message they don't know what there doing! They said the next guy gets a 3 year deal murty gets 6 month no plan B and no clue!

23 Dec 2017 20:01:51
Do people on here still think Derek McInnes bottled it? . not a chance. He had a look and didn't like what he saw. Whether that was a lack of money, Director of Football picking the players or not agreeing to the players he wants. who knows. . The next manager was to get a three year contract and he gets 6 months. what a lot of pants

23 Dec 2017 20:49:05
Ano true have just got a feeling
something is going on behind the
scenes hopefully for the best as
us fans have been through enough

24 Dec 2017 11:16:12
Too theStruthhurts. Sorry mate. I never coached but its pretty plain to see there are players around who would make us a better stronger squad. Murty will know his squad or at least those yesterday just not up to it.

23 Dec 2017 19:09:20
I'm fed up with murty already. Talking pish after the game about containing the mighty Kilmarnock. One thing I agree with him on is I'm astounded he got the job to. How many points dropped and shocking performances before the board do the inevitable?

23 Dec 2017 19:37:36
I hope i'm wrong and that he manages to get 4 players in the window to turn things round but i fear that mr murty may be gone by easter if it continues like the performances againt killie today dundee and st. johnston

23 Dec 2017 20:54:16
What I don't understand is why sack Pedro to just give it to the under 20s coach for the rest of the season after all the money they backed Pedro with if we were not going to replace him with another top manager surley it would be better to give him untill the end of season to try turn it around then asses at end of season rather than just let murty do that. I know Pedro was not great but he dint lose at home to Hamilton and st Johnstone then away to Dundee and Kilmarnock murtys record must be the worst out of any rangers manager so far I can't remember loseing 4 out of 6 games that is just unthinkable for a club like ares.

23 Dec 2017 21:33:00
Give murty a break! The majority of the blame lies with the board my friend! Murty is a good coach who's at the front line taking the brunt for this inept board of directors we've got! If murty brings in a no.2 with experience to work beside him, then this could still come good for murty as our manager! Give the guy a fighting chance for god's sake! The board are hiding behind murts! Its not fair on him!

23 Dec 2017 21:41:13
4 out of 8 sorry but still terrible!

23 Dec 2017 23:27:54
He has had a chance and lost 4 out of the last 8 Pedro an warbs never did that bad and everyone was crying out for them to be sacked why should murty get away with it for longer than them just because he a nice guy.

23 Dec 2017 18:11:04
The performances under murty have not been good are this board watching diffrent games from what we are watching after stating he has earned the job
Just because we beat hibs aberdeen by unsettling there manager then riding our luck against hibs doesn't mean he should get the job i like murty but this job to big for him at this stage we needed experiance
We seem to go one nill up then try defend the lead this is no good as defence not good enough clear to see we need score 2 3 goas to win agame

23 Dec 2017 17:10:50
Most of the signings haven't worked out although no question Dorrans and Jack were missed today. Posters who pointed this suspicion out months ago were told give them time to gel, get used to Scottish culture, the pace of the game, give them a break. I got a few insults hurled my way. What are those saying now? Probably nothing. We could have and should have signed a few damn good local players and we'd be a pretty decent team. I'd go so far as saying top.

23 Dec 2017 17:18:48
Gents. . I've got man flu, my pals r going out tonight with out me, and I'm feeling sorry for myself. Could somebody please hurry up and put me out my nightmare and cheer me up by saying those ill informed words . "I see McInnes bottled it again. ". c'mon. there must be some dafty oot there wanting to be the first to spout that p. h!

23 Dec 2017 17:36:04
Said exact same myself mate Pena, Herrera, dalcio, cardoso, and now candeias should all be moved on ASAP if there not interested - priorities should be signing younger players who want to play for rangers (likely local ) and who can make us a profit in the future. Hope someone can come in for the players and get them off the bill ( what numpty would take them though 🤔🤔

23 Dec 2017 18:47:33
The best players in the world would struggle at rangers at the moment they don't know whether they are coming or going! Said it before and il say it again the way the club is being run and the media fueling the flames has taken a toll on the players on the park! Nothing against Murty but an experienced manager would keep the players focused on what's going on, on the park and to me it looks like the circus has affected the playing staff

23 Dec 2017 18:58:21
kfraser, i'm not going to disagree with anything you say. However the trouble with our squad comes from many angles. From today :
Wes, Tav, Hodson, Wilson, Holt, Windass - Warbuton.
Mcrorie and Bates - youth.
Candias, Morelos, Declan - Pedro/ JJ
We can't keep blaming Pedro, we are still suffering from the mediocre players Warbs brought in. Our 1st 11 should be

Fod
Tav Bruno Wilson Wallace
Candias Dorrans Jack John
Morelos Millar?

That team should be good enough for 2nd.

Bates ain't good enough, Barjonas ain't good enough (just now) Mcrorrie to much on his young talented shoulders. We need an extended spell of stability and normality. That will come with Murty. Hopefully he will bring in players that are tough no frills and can do the basics.

We are still in the mix with and considering how bad we can be and the ups and downs, imagine when things turn around, which they will, what will happen.

23 Dec 2017 19:03:12
Who told Bates he could play football? Another truly awful player who can’t do the basics. Both centre halves were a disgrace today

23 Dec 2017 18:41:28
So u think by getting a couple of spl players u would be top?
Comedy gold u just keep giving lol. 😂😂😂

23 Dec 2017 15:44:01
Murty has been appointed as he is there already and after appointing two duds, feck getting a Third. 🙄

Murty should have changed and reacted to the game as it was happening. With who? The starting 11 are suspect never mind our fecking bench. Even with Wallace as captain, no leaders. Don't mind if Wallace or milller don't come back

We have so many players getting money for feck all. This window and winter break is the time to rip up and bite the bullet. As a poster said pre sourness era has arrived again. So if not sorted make some noise.

King eventually will have to sell the club and move on. However European football at a top level is years away, so who will buy us?

23 Dec 2017 16:38:42
I got my season tickets back again as soon as Mr King and co got control of our club. I have bought into his vision and sit both my Father and young son. I bought the club merchandise as soon as we were told we should.
I believed in these people thinking they have the best interests of the club. I have backed everything they have done to this point even though I couldn’t understand how they could appoint Pedro who had no pedigree of note in football, I’m afraid on the announcement of Graeme Murty getting the managers job this is the tipping point. I won’t be going back. He is a youth coach who has zero experience. Glasgow Rangers manager . really? He is totally out his depth. The performances under the guy have been horrific and they only played well against an unsettled Aberdeen side when they thought they were playing under there future manager in McInnes. Even Ross county and Kilmarnock have managers in with EPL experience at the top level. Every other SPL team has a manager with more experience than Murty. This is Glasgow Rangers! I am disgusted at the lack of transparency and communication and I have had enough. These managerial appointments have been a joke and yet again the fans are being taken advantage off. How many more hits can our fans take?

23 Dec 2017 21:01:30
Just got a feeling something is going on
behind the scenes hopefully for the best
but the board can’t muck us about enough
is enough

23 Dec 2017 15:35:10
I think the last week has shown us the board are clueless, penniless and spineless.
I really like Murty but I don't believe he's up to the job
We are carrying far too many work shy cowards
We are playing like a team in the bottom half of the league and fast heading there as well unless we can change things
I hope I'm wrong but I think this transfer window will show how skint we are

I like many others was delighted to see the new board take over but they have turned out to be a clueless shambles

The level of transparency isn't there
The level of investment isn't there
The lavel of player isn't there
The level of player commitment isn't there
The only thing that's there is the support

Feeling very angry, gutted and let down.

23 Dec 2017 16:27:40
I would disagree, a board is there to run the club, and not much should be made public. Serious investment has been made, a lot of it in infrastructure, but also about 8m on players. The players are working hard but the quality play is below standard I agree, I think all the negativity must affect them and the fans have to take some blame for that. This is not a sprint, but a marathon and we need patience.

23 Dec 2017 17:12:40
fans aren't to blame at all mate, their loyalty has been above and beyond and can only go so far

23 Dec 2017 17:28:49
This board has over seen the appointment of Pedro and backed some horrific signings
The statements that come of the club are embarrassing and are mostly ammunition for rival fans to have a go
You can’t blame the fans we are all rightly angry and frustrated
With the investment that was made in the summer you would expect a decent level of improvement
I will hold my hands up and say I’m wrong if we get some good signings in January but I seriously doubt we will

23 Dec 2017 18:03:41
For gods sake, you lot need to chill out. There's a chairman who's not a criminal, a fantastic board (with jobs for life hopefully), a top name as a manager and above all class players. A top half spot is almost guaranteed. Merry Christmas one and all

23 Dec 2017 18:18:51
So it’s the fans fault. It’s my fault Hibs and Kilmarnock have pummelled us in recent weeks. Beaten by St Johnstone and Hamilton - at home. It’s my fault we have Jason Holt (love Jason Holt as he tries his heart out but we knew 2 years ago he wasn’t good enough) and our under 20s centre half in midfield. I could go on and on and on. The tide has turned and we will be lucky to get 20,000 season tickets sold next year. Since winning the championship we haven’t improved. We have no style, no shape, no sense of what type of team we are.

23 Dec 2017 15:18:20
This job's far too big for Murty and he will gone by next season. It's not his fault, he's a patsy put in place by a bunch of clueless morons who couldn't run a bath farless a football club. By that reckoning, do we allow Murty to bring in players, and If there's any, spend money in January?

23 Dec 2017 15:31:45
I like murty but he's too inexperienced and shouldn't be in charge. Board can't replace him because they'll look more indecisive than they already do. Although that shouldn't stop the music From righting there wrongs but they wont

23 Dec 2017 15:38:39
Stop them from righting there wrongs. Don't know where music came from lol

23 Dec 2017 15:42:06
surely if this was best we can do, it would have been better leaving pc in charge til end of season.

23 Dec 2017 15:47:29
Totally agree. Murty was not the answer. We needed a strong manager like pulis but the board have not a clue and failed us again. I am still recovering from watching 70 minutes of the st johnstone game and then they appoint murty. Along with mcoists teams this is the worst rangers team of all time. Utter dross not fit to wear the jersey. Unless there is some big news in the wind i can see very stormy times ahead.

23 Dec 2017 15:18:20
a board who take 2 months to decide that a youth coach is the new manager of rangers, is a board who are not fit for the job, when a small child would know leaving the decision to the new year would have been the one hundred per cent thing to do. they made the announcement to deflect from kings share issue wrangle, and like everything else at rangers recently. they bungled it and embarrassed us. u only have to look at everton and palaces turnaround to see how a new manager can make a diference if decent to the same players. we are an utter shambles from top to bottom

23 Dec 2017 15:29:31
I feel sorry for murty, he has been hung out to dry by our incompetent board and that excuse of a DOF that we have, yet again the fans are embarrassed by the circus that our club has become again, this is the price we pay for being loyal to our club

23 Dec 2017 15:36:25
im not usually class half empty guy but if we finish top six we will be lucky. not only that but once murty is made to look incomptent do u think h would go back to his coaching role. don't think so

23 Dec 2017 15:42:56
I was very concerned when I heard Mark Allen’s interview yesterday and he said something along the lines of “a couple of results went against us and that it’s expected”. I don’t know if he realises or not but we should be beating teams like Hamilton and St Johnstone at Ibrox

23 Dec 2017 15:49:27
Everton and Palace? Look at Killie They were better than us in every area of the park today, organised and every player looked like he knew where he should be on the pitch. The post and Fod actually made the scoreline look like a close match and we rode our luck with Tav not seeing red. Murty had to either change the shape or personnel much earlier than he did.

23 Dec 2017 15:55:49
Its king and the board to blame, 3 years, still relying on 'loans' to survive. Appoint a manager nobody has heard of, give him 8million for players. (who the majority clearly don't fancy it) mad.

23 Dec 2017 16:46:38
That was very hard to watch today, two full backs who are non-existent and a midfield that back off every time the opposition get the ball (whatever happened to tackling? ) I don't know what the present team do in training, but McCoist was right in his comments after the match, we are "soft" and an easy touch for the opposition, I would like the players to be made to read the comments from supporters, but don't know if it would make any difference to some of them. Seasons Greetings fellow bears everywhere. Rant over

23 Dec 2017 15:02:49
As he had just been appointed, you would assume this would have been a hame of maximum effort from his players, so based on that pish, we are fooked.
Anyhoo, enjoy the festivities fellow bears, I'm off to give maximum effort in getting pi$hed!

23 Dec 2017 14:53:47
The guys in charge of rangers, and the current board got a lot of plaudits for saving rangers. But i think its time to realise that with these current guys in charge we are merely going backwards and unless different people take over, it will be a long time before we ever recover. They are destroying us. to put an under 20 coach in charge to the end of the season, after weeks and weeks and week s of supposed due diligence and looking over cv s and deliberation, and that is the end result, my god. Rather than at least waiting to to the new year to see how the next 3 games went, which anyone with any kind of a brain would have done. Well incompetence, stupidity, crass negligence, cowardice. embarrassing the club. complete and utter unprofessionalism, and the removal of any chance of second and maybe 3rd in the league. all of the above. My god have we not suffered enough at the hands of people who just cannot do a proper job and who are harming the club whether it be intentionally or not. How many more storms to we need to weather before we get people in charge that actually know what they are doing.

23 Dec 2017 14:52:43
As he had just been appointed, you would assume this would have been a hame of maximum effort from his players, so based on that pish, we are fooked.
Anyhoo, enjoy the festivities fellow bears, I'm off to give maximum effort in getting pi$hed!

23 Dec 2017 14:52:30
On and off the park we have NO LEADERSHIP if board have no funds move on and let someone else try.

23 Dec 2017 15:34:22
Who else is queuing up to pour money in

23 Dec 2017 14:51:50
Just read the managers comments post match and more of the same nonsense about learning lessons and prepare for next game. Not good enough for me.

23 Dec 2017 14:50:10
I hate being right all the time but I a realist .

Murty looked like he was about to cry in his interview your the man that's to get they overpaid bunch of imposters ( because I can't swear ) going

Players if they all left I wouldn't miss one .

The board must be chased down the marble stair case and right out the door . Can't remember any club waiting TWO MONTHS to appoint a manager then making the wrong appointment.

Turning down the job can only mean we are in financial trouble AGAIN which this board where supposed to sort.

While he's in South Africa I'm watching KILMARNOCK batter us that's KILMARNOCK

Sack the board.

23 Dec 2017 14:47:46
For feck sake. This board full of not got a football clue are to blame for this crap. They appointed two out the box managers who bought lots of duds and although they have now gone, the duds are still here. However I still think they did the right thing in giving it to murty. The pressure isn't on him it's on the DOF And the board now.

Miller, Kranjar, Alves, Wallace, Rossiter, Hobson, Pena and Herrea should be gone after we come back from winter the break. It leaves a young team with new window replacements to go forward. Bring in the additional coaching support (Barry etc) and move forward. Only way unless investment comes in (Not holding my breath) .

Stopping 10 in a row can not be our driver in the operational way forward.

23 Dec 2017 14:44:44
Something is so wrong behind the scenes were in a crisis it's plain to see the board are amichours don't have a clue or just not interested.

23 Dec 2017 14:41:47
This is my first post after reading and enjoying this site for years
I'm 48 so I've had lots of highs and lows watching my team but I've never been so dissolutioned as I am right now and I'm including the years working our way through the leagues ( at least we had some idea what was going on good or bad ) but now ?
There's no leadership anywhere in our club nobody knows what the financial situation is the players look disinterested and that's unforgivable
The only positive is the fans how we are not sitting in an half empty ibrox every other week is testament to the loyalty of our fans so come on rangers repay that loyalty and give us some answers
RTID.

23 Dec 2017 14:40:45
Do the only thing we can do to make the board understand. Stay away vote with our feet. We are a laughing stock and i no longer lookforward to watching my team play. And yes i have supported and watched for over 50 years but we are being taken for mugs. Gutless spinless dross who don't deserve to wear that blue jersey.

23 Dec 2017 14:31:36
Another abysmal performance. The dark days feel never-ending now. Nutty is a total disaster of an appointment, could see that from a mile away. Every manager in the SPL is more experienced and will be confident that they can outfox his one-dimensional approach. It's not his fault though its the board. This club is an absolute mess and perhaps we will never get back to the top of the Scottish game. We are a shambles on the park, a disgrace in the boardroom and our competitors - Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts and Hibs - are all better run clubs that would love to see us fall. Don't know what the answer is but a new board and manager would be a start.

23 Dec 2017 14:45:55
You won't hear criticism of Murty from me.

The board on the other hand.

23 Dec 2017 14:46:01
Happy xmas from rangers, the gringe board going 4 a inexperienced manager when were trying to get back to where we wher, not the time to mess around. We where screaming out 4 a back 3 second half. Marty put a team out then sat on his hands till it was to late, puts Herrera on because that fixes everything. Joke

23 Dec 2017 14:55:01
The guys in charge of rangers, and the current board got a lot of plaudits for saving rangers. 23 Dec 2017 14:54:56
Dave king your very-quiet again, just sell up to someone who cares.

23 Dec 2017 14:25:12
I hate to say it but that is the second time in as many weeks we have shown no fight, no commitment, no ability, no creativity, no desire to press without the ball, no ability to pass a ball and players can't be arsed getting off the deck when they've lost possession or missed a chance. This is nothing short of brutal to watch. Something has to change here. A very poor Kilmarnock team has bullied and out played Rangers today. We should all realise that this can't go on. Dismal display. The goal aside, we done nothing right in any of the 90 minutes. Horrible.

23 Dec 2017 14:32:48
Yeh I know. But I'll tell you what will fix the situation give the guy that's displayed these performances a job until the end of the season.

23 Dec 2017 14:37:16
disaster of an appointment. Murty should go now. didn't want him in the first place . tactically unaware and completely out of his depth

23 Dec 2017 14:23:15
That performance wouldn't even cut it in the championship. EVERY team we play against wants it more than we do and that is unforgivable. Hang their heads in shame.

23 Dec 2017 14:33:22
team clearly not good enough but murty should have changed personnel long before killie scored, his response at 2 1 down throw on herrerra WOEFUL

23 Dec 2017 14:49:21
we will go down to the championship if we keep playing wilson in defence if boyd can beat him for pace every time also winning everything, oh man my eyes hurt after watching that game

Too much! How much longer must we endure this? The board, again, play a blinder. Murty is a decent coach but that's it. A total shambles of a team, both on, and off the park! King et al hang your heads in shame! How many times must you make a once proud and majestic team look like a complete and utter laughing stock? This needs to stop now! Those out there that still back this shower need to open their eyes now! We'll be lucky to be top 4, or even 6, If this continues.

23 Dec 2017 14:20:04
Disgusting out now the board

23 Dec 2017 14:28:32
Murty should go now as well. that team hardly going to win a game never mind the league

23 Dec 2017 14:20:00
That was hard to watch the team had no Dig no winners and no heart passing was terrible where do we go from here I honestly don’t know

23 Dec 2017 14:15:07
Well there it is in its full glory a manager totally out his depth a board that once again took the cheap option
It was painfully obvious what was coming but our glorious leader does nothing we're out played out thought out muscled
So the farce unfolds i'm sick of this! If I hear or read one player saying its not good enough or we let the fans down my foots going thru telly
Christ help us on the 30th our board should hang their heads in shame it's a total shambles Mike Ashley and co couldn't be worse than this mob we've got!

23 Dec 2017 14:26:21
Ye it was sh. e but I still don’t want mike Ashley

23 Dec 2017 13:52:23
Man this is a shocking watch! Need fresh faces in Jan this team is mince! I know we are missing a few players but regardless we shouldn't be hanging on like this at Rugby park.

23 Dec 2017 14:11:28
Three dreadful performances in a row.
Killie bossed us all game long and it takes until the 83rd minute for our manager to try and change anything.

I'm genuinely worried guys.

23 Dec 2017 14:14:10
Ladies and Gents. Rangers are pants. We will all support them and back them to our last breath. . but oh dear. this is torture. It could be worse we could have Celtic next week! This team takes me back to pre-Souness and Martin Henderson and Billy Urquhart. .2nd? . Gez peace

23 Dec 2017 14:15:05
Not one player on the park is fit to wear a Rangers shirt and murty should be nowhere near that dugout, no point in beating aberdeen and losing to the lower teams,

23 Dec 2017 14:19:48
Murty is clueless. You could see that a change was needed as Kilmarnock battered us in the 2nd half however he did nothing and they deservedly won. The standard of passing, controlling the ball and defending is appalling. Utter garbage from start to finish. Heaven help us next weekend with those current players disgracing the jersey. Holt, Wilson, Windass, and Bates are shocking. Murty naive and should be there as manager. We are a joke of a club

23 Dec 2017 14:54:28
Candeias has been terrible for 5 games now but still manages to get in his the team, i would rather see young lads like barjonas, Atakyi Thompson, Rudden etc than the players that are stealing from us fans.

23 Dec 2017 13:16:37
We should be wearing black masks. If we're honest, this is painful viewing.

23 Dec 2017 13:45:33
Backs to the wall against Killie! We have no style of play and our shape is all over the place, it’s embarrassing and horrible to watch.

23 Dec 2017 13:47:34
One of the most uninspiring Inexperienced Rangers teams ever, if that's the best we can put out and play we are in dire straits

23 Dec 2017 14:23:01
I'm going to lock myself away next Sat cause we are going to get murdered, it could be honestly worse than the 5-1 last season. We should be genuinely concerned with where we are heading, we have no style of play, teams like Hibs, Killie, hearts are improving and appear to have a plan - we are a shambles going nowhere. Let's stop this talk of we are the famous Glasgow Rangers, that was in the past. Now we're a mid table joke. Time to throw in the towel. We will become another Leeds United.

23 Dec 2017 12:27:24
Hope everyone has a nice Xmas and health and happiness when the new year comes!

Let’s do it Murty we all have your back!

23 Dec 2017 12:05:55
My only concern with Murty now confirmed until the end of the season what happens then do the club as a while lose him or does he just drop back to the youth setup or does this all depend on results between now and the end of the season as if he manages to get us a pretty close second to that other lot or if Santa grants my wishes the league title I know it's unlikely but Hearts showed every other club that that lots defence is there for the taking he might actually be given the job permanently but I think it would be a sad loss to the club as a whole if we lost Murty completely at the end of the season through a series of events the was not caused by or asked for by Murty but glad he's had the balls to step up to the plate and I wish him all the best and a merry Christmas and hopefully a very happy New year to all the Glasgow Rangers family for 2018

23 Dec 2017 09:40:42

23 Dec 2017 11:15:22

All the best to all the bears out there. Merry Christmas guys!

In regards to the Dave King share issues I do not understand why folk are claiming that no one will take 20p a share because the current value is 27p.

If it was me I would be thinking if I don’t take this 20p offer am I going to risk my investment. Who is going to pay 27p a share at the moment and with the volatility of football combined with the insecurity and uncertainty around the club on a daily basis I would be selling for sure.

I guess by doing that and looking out for myself that means I am not a ‘real rangers man’ or whatever that comment means these days.

23 Dec 2017 10:34:22
I ain't got no shares but anyone who has wether they sell or not does not make them a less supporter than those who don't as you said these days people need to look after there family etc before a football club yes we all love rangers yes if we all had millions we would invest but rangers fc are one of if not thee biggest supported clubs in the uk never mind the world there will always be someone who will wait till the time is right to buy or invest like a fergus mccann did at smell tic and saved there bacon at the last min so anyone one does sell good luck to you

23 Dec 2017 11:10:03
The current value is 27p to Club 1872 as far as I can see. There's no guarantee that any fan will be able to get that price.

Will King bother complying with the decision?

Or will he risk further sanctions?

23 Dec 2017 09:28:41
Maybe now that Murty has been appointed until the end of the season there will be a new impetus in the team. Killie (a), Motherwell (h) and Septic (a) . 9 points would be fab but I'd settle for 7 then see what 2018 brings. Merry Christmas fellow Bears. I'm off to Tenerife in January with visits to the Ibrox Bar in Costa Adeje high on the list! Happy New Year!

23 Dec 2017 14:27:10
Good call doiger 😱😱😱🙈🙈🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

23 Dec 2017 06:08:22
Too much negativity on here, Murty is an accomplished player and coach (albeit not a big name), the club is in capable hands until the end of the season.

The permanent signing of John is a statement of intent from the club - young talented players will get their opportunity and long term contracts.

Give the board more time, they have been dealing with every disadvantage imaginable from the second they took control back from those tried to gut the club.

23 Dec 2017 10:20:50
I will always have a preference of who to bring in as much as I have those I don't want, but the moment someone is signed player or manager they have my full backing and in murty we have someone who twice with players he has no hand in signing has got more from said players than the recognised manager. I know there have been blips but that could stem from the uncertainty around his position. Let's get behind this man because like all true leaders he has stepped up, some my come along with delusions of themselves as managers but when it came to it the job was too big this guy has always done his best and his best was always better than the others and at no point has he shown arrogance or a know it all attitude instead he has tried different things and isn't afraid to realise his mistakes. Graeme Murty will always give his all, he knows everyone at all age levels in the club and will use these kids rather than overlook them like 99.9% of anyother incoming candidates would have done, and I believe all the players like and respect him and you will never get a red neck watching any of his interviews or press conferences because unlike the last two managers this guy was a player and knows the score.
