I think bwp could be a decent spl player but not for europe though a lot of people said bougie wasnt rangers class when walter signed him from english lower league but turned out ok and bwp is scoring well for plymouth just an opinion

Maybe some truth in Evans or possibly a long shot at Michael Owen - although i and most bears doubt Owen i heard that he has only 6 months in his contract and in order to gain an extension must prove his worth to Sir Alex.
Walter himself said 2 loan deals are what he is looking at, so this talk of "new funds" being available due to the takeover happening next week is hard to believe. And he said it's a defender and a striker he is looking at, so these people saying Boyd and Novo and simply living in the past. Both would NOT make Rangers a better team, Novo - as much as the commitment is there i believe the talent is not. Walter himself would know that youth and the future is where the success of rangers lies. Boyd -as much as he scored goals much of his success was beside Kenny Miller who has just parted company with Rangers. Plus Boyd was a lackadaisical and lazy player who rarely seemed interested in Rangers even after being told by a LEGEND in Ally McCoist how to better his game, who's advice he seemingly disregarded.
Walter is shrewd in the market and buying BWP would be a waste of money in my opinion and i hope in his opinion. I believe he (Walter) will look to the EPL for his loan signings, so look down there at the likes of Jason Roberts, and other fringe strikers. Defence wise i don't know where he will look, however i would like to see someone like Berra.
I really doubt Wolves would be willing to loan out Berra considering he plays almost every week. Jason Roberts is another lazy striker as Sam Allardyce even said about him whilst he was his manager. Who wants Owen he would arrive and then join Andy Webster in the treatment room. I would take Novo back if you look at what Walter said he wants a roward who is a 'utility' player I'm assuming he means someone who can play up front or from the wing. Don't know if you remember or not Novo got one season up front with Prso and scored 25 goal (roughly) then he became a RM. Novo and Jelavic up front.

Get your heids oot yir jacksies eh, the only reason people like Novo, Boyd, Thompson, Mendes, etc left Ibrox was plain and simple, they all thought they were better players than they actually were. Rangers couldn't pay them what they thought they were worth, lets face it, Rangers offered them all deals, just like they did with kiss the badge Miller, they all go on to kiss another teams badge. To go back to Rangers, would be them admitting they have failed elswhere. If they all loved Rangers as much as they said, why then in times of crisis, when they fully know the club is skint, why do they ask for more if the know the pot is empty? Just reading on the offical club web site there that walters stunned at yesterdays defeat.in little over a year we have dispensed with the services of 2 players that was reaping us 50 goals plus a season, we spent 4m on a yet to prove himself spl player shold we not have invested this 4m in securing the services of boyd and millar for the next few years.we had the answer and some one gave it away

Rangers will make 2 loan signings - 1 is in Glasgow now and the other will not be done till last minute. Only way any other business can be done will be if Adam moves from Blackpool. . Also due to poor ticket sales from season ticket holders for Old Firm match in 2 weeks income is again very tight.

'Miller should have been sold in the summer for at least £2million as he knew then that all we could afford to offer him was a paycut of £7k per week. Bad management by smith & bain.
To give mcculloch a two year extension to 2013 is a joke as he is already breathing out a* e after 20 mins these days. although he took a paycut he is still on approx £15k per week

All these rumours about Tim Matavz, i think my fellow gers fans are getting ahead of themselves. He's valued at roughly 3m. Where are we gettin this money from lads? n whoever replies its a loan deal, come on. hes scoring goals quite regularly over in holland, and is a future international star for his country. Other european clubs without our troubles are looking at him. Why would his club allow him to leave on loan? Doesnt make sense.
I wish this were true, as having looked him up on utube got the same feeling about him when i first saw jela, but we just aint got a chance in hell with this one. Stuck with beattie i think guys, sadly.

The only thing we have going for us with regards to the matavz rumour is, unless im mistaken, groningen are managed or coached by peter huistra, who smith signed and mcoist played along side. Now im not suggesting that groningen would help rangersbout because of this, i just think that might be where the rumour has came from. I personally don't believe it, but like i said earlier, it won't go away. I have a feelin the nacho novo rumour may be a little closer to truth, ive just been hearing his family are still in scotland and he stays in a hotel on his own in spain. He also trained with rangers over the festive period. Novo-jelavic might just work, jelavic is similar to prso, n novo certainly enjoyed his time up front with the big croat legend. Heard a scary one too, we're actively trying to get rid of mcgregor? Personally id sell him no probs, but it would just show you how desperate we are, havin to actually try to sell one of supposed "prize assets"

Regarding Tim Matavz, if FM2010 is anything to go by, he is a phenomenal striker who performed wonders for my Gers team. After my first season, Everton offered me £10m for him. So needless to say, if this rumour is legit, we should all be VERY excited. .
