Here's a thing. I've just watched the latest Cummings interview on Rangers TV and I have to admit I am impressed with the attitude of the wee so and so. Clearly he can't wait to get on the pitch and wear the blue jersey. Quite open and refreshing interview. Beginning to change my mind about him and hope he hits the road running. Loved when he said he'd be in and about the 6 yard box to tap them in. Cummings and the buffalo together could be just what we need.

I must agree Seeker. i'm actually quite excited at the prospect of these 2 together. I grew up in an era where we had Hately and Mccoist and I've never been so excited with our potential strike pairing than i am now. These 2 could just be the tonic that we so need

The thing I like about Cummings is he can score belters, when these teams come and sit behind the ball Cummings ability to score from edge of the box should come into fruition! I hope he hits the ground running tonight!

Hello Fellow Teddy Bears,

First time poster here but an avid reader of the page so I though it's about time I post something to contribute to the talking points.
Firstly I am just back from my holidays in Gran Canaria so "Bonjour" to you all. The weather was great thanks. As I probably know most of you were wondering what it was like. Well it was a steady 18 for the two weeks I was there.

I think the underlying problem is we are signing players who would never ever get near a Loan Rangers Jersey because we have not got the finances. To be honest probably Dorrans is the only player that would get into a Loan Rangers team from the past and that would still be on the subs bench along with Tonto.

We need to think outside the box on how we can raise more capital to invest in better players by utilising the facilities we already have in place.
For example the kitchen / canteen could be open from 7am until 10pm daily and we could do a food delivery service on the Just Eat app.

We could also register the players through an entertainment company to do guest appearances at night clubs like what Joey from Essex does. And we could give Mexican language courses for anyone who wants to learn Mexican.

This is just two ideas off the top of my head. imagine if we sat down around the camp fire and really thought about it, we could generate lots of Hi-Yo, Silver every month and that could mean we could sign better Mexican players. We might even be able to sign a Mexican player that some of us have heard of!

My point is we need to raise the cash, pontoon tickets, scratch cards, discos, car boot sales. Anyone else got anything else that could integrate into my solution for raising more capital?

A few ideas from me -

1. We start to charge sad celtic fans with nothing worthwhile to fill their days to view and comment on Rangers forums. Seems to me business would be booming, a few quid a month and by my calculations our transfer kitty would be huge!

3. Donate Rodney / Loan Rangers / whatever guff name he thinks up next brain for scientific research. Only issue of this would be payment would most likely be based on size / weight so we would probably only get about a quid.

When rossiter is fit and playing it would be like a new singing. I just keep thinking this so far has been a good window. If we had these players at the start of the season we would have more points. I just hope we can get close to them by the end of the season. Maybe next season have a slim chance of stopping them.

Is Jamie Murphy Martin and Cummings really going to make us that much better? I can see us being slightly better yes but some people are getting way to carried away with these few signings all of them were not getting games at there current clubs which is why we got the deals done quickly yet you would think we had made some shroud deals and top signings and a superstar in Jason Cummings according to some people.

I think they are better than what was there before the transfer window opened and that we have competition for places which should help drive on the others to be more consistent.

Who should we have signed that would take us to the level you expect deano? You are more or less suggesting that these players are not any good because they did not play at their current clubs. We don't have the financial muscle to cherry pick teams best players. What is it that you want?

I think the signings are very good, but just as important will be the return of Dorrans, Jack, McCrorie and Wallace to the squad after injury (is Jack injured? ) .

Deanobear I get where your coming from as we have had our hopes dashed a lot recently although I believe we can have a good 2 half to season and get 2nd wrapped up and a wee Scottish cup run (win) whilst reducing the points gap between us and them, then look to next season to mount a serious title challenge.

Deanobear we always seem to be hopeful after a transfer window, recent experience shows we shouldn't get carried away because it has went belly up soon afterwards. Does anyone know for a fact if we have option to buy on all the loan deals because what concerns me is if we do have a good second half of the season will the board produce the funds to sign these players permanently? If they don't and these players go back to their parent clubs then we are back to square one! I read somwhere that we had a 600k option to buy on Cummings and that QPR are not interested in selling Goss but of course I don't know how accurate these reports are!

Caldo I understand that's the market we need to look at and think we will improve over the second half of the season but to say we have done GREAT business and we are going to be loads better cracking players singned stuff like that is just over the top to say we have done outstanding business this window signing championship teams cast offs is a little OTT is it not? After all Jason Cummings Russle Martin are players the likes of Aberdeen hearts hibs could get on loan if they really wanted to.

Neven Subotic is a top class CB altho he's had a few bad months still only 29 with plenty of champions league experience this guy is well worth 3M I remember watching him play against real Madrid and Malaga if Celtic get him it's a major coup . A year ago he was a regular in the Dortmund team I'm fearful they have a good player if this goes throu.
