UEFA are making a fortune fining the greatest fans on the world, aren't they?.SEVEN times since 2011. that wee Juan Guy causes some amount of grief.

Dohbhoy)why not just accept your punishment instead of trying to deflect you're misdemeanours on to others typical childish response with your you do it all the time and don't get told off, now away off and sit yourself on the naughty step.

Agree3 Disagree3

23 Mar 2015 19:43:29
It wasn't that long ago that the "greatest fans in the world" (self proclaimed) were shouting about punishment fitting the crime and sporting integrity, yet as you say all those fines and put out of Europe three times in one seqson because of a technicality beaten by a team fair n square. It only counts if it doesn't involve the Selik a shower of hypocrites. I seem to remember when we were charged by UEFA it being front page and lead stories on the news, a bit different when its Rangers, I wonder why?

Agree4 Disagree4

23 Mar 2015 19:45:24
It's always the same. See what they have been doing! It's not fair, we're getting this and that and they're getting away with singing their bad songs. Just remember Dabhoybhoy - this is not the SFA you're dealing with now.

Ah, typical wee bhoys, happy to groan on for years about uefa saying you were the bestest in the world, and then going all "it wiznae that serious " when you cop it. 7 times! The Sellik Way!

I think there's an equation that perfectly sums up this thread, if you take the amount of teeth the average rangers fan has in his/her mouth then divide it by the the number of skelly eyes he/she has then multiply it by the number of nicotine stained fingers he/she undoubtedly has you will be left with 5 (eureka ) Rangers fans talking about Celtic on the Rangers page.
Over to you Vorderman Bear

Still got a full set of gnashers, my eyes have never been 'skelly' - perfect vision and I have never smoked in my life. Here's one for you - if you divide the number of times you wash during the year by the number of eyebrows you have and add twice your IQ, would you have enough brain power to fart and chew gum at the same time?

I see green said his relationship with Mccoist ended when Mccoist refused to sign a letter encouraging fans to buy season tickets. wasn't he sagged off for bowing to everyone in charge? Maybe not straight forward as we think behind the scenes I'm sure he fought for the fans and yes he was a terrible manager but that's not my point here

Believable9 Unbelievable3

23 Mar 2015 15:45:44
The important thing is that while fans were refusing to buy season tickets before our first season in the lower leagues and with Bomber and others telling us to starve out the board, Ally backed Green fully and brought the fans on board.

Agree2 Disagree2

23 Mar 2015 16:06:54
Fair point naz but then he caught on to green the following year and refused?

Agree2 Disagree4

23 Mar 2015 16:32:18
OP is that not the minimum he should do as a Bluenose? Said before on here I wish him no ill and a happy life after Rangers. But he was our worst ever manager when we probably needed our best ever to come up with an exciting young team.
But it is about Stuart McCall now so let's give him the same level of backing as Ally received in the first couple of seasons.

20 years to the day a true Rangers legend and pure footballing genius was taken from us what would he have been worth in today's market God bless you Davie Cooper thanks for the memories.

Believable13 Unbelievable1

23 Mar 2015 14:02:18
Hear Hear. That was one of the saddest days of my life when I heard Supercoop had died, I seen him score some great goals, but the one that sticks in my mind was against Hibs at Ibrox if memory serves me correctly it was a league cup semi final 2cnd leg, what a goal, at least he got to play for the team he loved and boy could he play. R.I.P Davie

Agree5 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 14:46:46
I'll always remember his free kick against Aberdeen in the league cup final absolute screamer.Heard later on that Jim Leighton said to coop I nearly stopped that davie said to him aye on the way back out classic a true rangers legend

Agree5 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 14:49:39
I remember seeing coop playing against us when he was at Clydebank It was 3-3 if memory serves but he was outstanding and I remember on the way up the road coop was the main talking point and then he came to rangers. Watched him I a cup replay against Dundee Utd where he ran riot, as he went on to do many times. Oh for a player of that class again. David cooper that's what I call a legend.

Agree6 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 15:47:31
Hard to believe that was twenty years ago to the day. A truly magical player.

Agree4 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 19:29:06
Aye he was a special talent. Was at the League Cup Final in 1986 against you know who when we got a penalty with 5 minutes to go. It was 1-1 at the time (Durrant and McClair had scored the goals). Davie just strolled up at stroked it by Bonner with the famous left peg. He wouldn't have got near it with telescopic arms! A true legend, sadly missed. RIP Davie

Agree2 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 20:45:16
Just to reiterate all your memories guys of super cooper, his keepy upy goal against celtic in the drybrough cup final was my favourite coop goal of all time although I rate all his goals that you guys have mentioned above as I've witnessed them all, his stunning free kick against aberdeen at hampden in the league cup final is my 2nd favourite, honestly I heard it ripping into the net from the rangers end which of course was the opposite end of where his goal was scored, I remember jim leighton saying to coop after that game that he'd got a hand to coop's free kick and coop replied immediately saying 'aye on the way back oot the net' brilliant! Heaven will have a wonderful team with coop as left winger, what a genius, a magical footballer, god bless davie cooper abd thanks for the special memories you gave me, your likes will never again be seen at ibrox, for the record I reckon coop would be worth around 60million quid for a player of his magical, god given ability in today's current transfer market, rip super coop!

Agree1 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 21:27:25
Jr) agree with every bit of your post mate, and yes 60m would be a great starting point, the biggest clubs around Europe would be queuing up for the man's signature that's not to say this unassuming genius would have left us, also enjoyed reading everyone's memory of the great man, once seen never forgot treasured memories.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 21:30:20
Remember he played against Spain in 1985 Wc qualifier, down left side with Arthur Albiston, Dalglish goal and two Mo Johnston goals remembered from that game, but Coop terrorised Spanish full back(Tendillo?), and looked class act. also game at Ibrox against Dortmund n 1982, where he tortured full back and set up goal for DJ. and finally game against Dun Utd at Tannadice around 82/83, where he had Narey and Malpas in traction.

23 Mar 2015 12:45:25
I see Charles Greene has surfaced again to make some allegations regarding coming back as mike Ashley, s man on the board, also the new board are still having to use Ashley's money as we according to him do not have funds of our own and other such statements I for one would like the present board to issue a statement regarding these comments and hopefully put an end to this con mans rants .

This is the same guy who lay in his sick bed and said (alot of people don't like Mike ashley I don't like Mike ashley) why would you be representing him on the board charlie boy this guy talks a lot of celery don't listen to a word that comes out his mouth

Agree3 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 14:37:13
Blj ---- you wanted a statement from the board??? Right on time my fellow bear your request is answered --- no mucking around with this board. The Three Bears have put up a £1.5m loan and NO interest fees will be charged and the loans will be on an UNSECURED basis. That is TRUE BLUE.

Further to the above the company has also announced that it has ceased the process of satisfying the conditions of drawdown of the second tranche of the facility with Sports Direct and its associated companies.

Matters proceeding in an orderly and regimented way ---- matters on the playing field improving ----- that's what Dave King and his board promised

Agree8 Disagree3

23 Mar 2015 14:47:20
Why another loan? Where is the £30m investment from King?

Agree3 Disagree4

23 Mar 2015 15:06:05
The £5million loan from Cashley was rejected by the board and an unsecured loan of £1.5 million has been agreed from the 3 Bears. No interest. This is a brilliant deal for Rangers. There will definitely be further investment.
All will be evident in the near future enquiries and uptakes of next seasons tickets already well under way and larger crowds already. I am 100% optimistic, for the first time in years I am feeling a wee spring in my step. Its a long road but we are on the correct path.

Agree5 Disagree3

23 Mar 2015 15:52:01
I wish I could share your optimism. I would've thought we were past having to borrow money to cover the wages. I'm surprised that King hasn't invested. We are still relying on loans rather than investment. It doesn't fill me with confidence. Also, for as long as we're having to borrow money we won't be in a position to pay off Ashley which leaves him as the person pulling the strings.

Agree3 Disagree3

23 Mar 2015 16:38:16
The previous lot had left us skint so money was required short term, there won't be any large investments until they go over the books with a fine tooth comb. The statement explained that Mr King won't invest until he has gone through the SFA process I think he is right, firstly it would be arrogant to walk over them and secondly the SFA need investment in Rangers so it will also be a good bargaining tool for Mr King at the hearing.

Agree5 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 16:38:25
Ab. Contrary to popular hearsay Cashleys will be be paid back. That I have no fear of and contracts will be investigated and re written. And yes sir I am absolutely enthusiastic.

23 Mar 2015 18:34:55
DK said he would match all, as at present hasn't put any money in, also MA terms are still the same on the £5million loanDK will be waiting to see if he's allowed on the Board. £1.5 million to get to the end of the season.Whoever it is in charge of number crunching will be appaled at the black hole that is running at a huge loss due to onerous bomb proof contracts ally's payday etc.Mr Park can see it will take many years to try get rangers financially stable & to have a team capable of competing for hounours not the quick fix the fans are expecting of 1 or 2 year.

Agree3 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 18:48:59
OCRSC I hope you're right. I'm sure MA will be repaid but it will be some time off. There are higher priorities. It will cost money to rewrite contracts so that won't happen. I'm afraid Ashley will still be in control for some time.

Agree2 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 19:33:50
It's really quite simple lads. As somebody earlier said, the cash has been put in just now to keep the club going while the board gets a chance to settle in and see what has been going on. It's interest free and unsecured ffs why the questions and negativity? Give these people a chance to sort this out. For the first time we have men in charge who have the best interests of the club at heart.

Agree2 Disagree2

23 Mar 2015 20:52:23
Noddy, I 100% agree with your post mate, this board have to be given time to fix our wonderful football club out, some people are so impatient & very negative, guys this board now have rangers best interests at heart, that's a fact, too many 'gers fans are cup half empty people whereas I'm a cup half full person

23 Mar 2015 21:15:38
The loan was given for immediate working capital with further investment from king due in a few weeks. As per the statement.

This is exactly what we wanted I can't see why people are critical of this?

The statement clearly states king will be investing.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 22:34:34
Glass half full, half empty, I don't have either kind of outlook. I'm more factual. Let's see what we have. New manager who had stepped up training, gettig more from the team, has a few systems he is working on and has got the team ting again. New board has loaned 1.5 mil unsecured with no interest, slated previous regimes and given 2 examples of sub-standard decisions, stated king and other board members WILL invest once king has been cleared and they have fully seen the extend of the deals, have stated they will invest in all areas of the club from youth to scouting and they have even put a timescale.

For me there is no half empty the glass is full. I'm looking forward to the rest of the journey with my fellow bears!

I always hoped Rangers would be back to where we belong before my son started getting into football. He's 2 and 4 months. Was conceived when we were put into administration (Valentine's Day 2012) was born when celtic beat Barcelona and to top things of his mum and mums family have got him into celtic. (We are no longer together) please beig Rangers back before he reaches childhood lol

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 11:35:36
Maybe just maybe there is hope for the play offs. New system allowed Wallace to do what he does best in driving forward and McGregor battled and competed down the other side. Would rather see him in the middle though and hopefully if we go up we can sort that out with a young and fitter looking squad. Would still only keep Bell, McGregor, Wallace and Clark out of the "established" players and bring in others. Allan for Hibs would be a great signing he stood out yday!

Believable11 Unbelievable1

23 Mar 2015 12:18:59
Try aird as a wing back if he keeps the formation? Must keep moshni in the team though his pace saved us a few times, looking forward to a summer of changes!

Agree3 Disagree9

23 Mar 2015 16:43:25
I thought Dylan McGeoch was their stand out player, wouldn't sign him though lol. I though Allan was marked out the game n it showed near the end when he threw his toys oot the pram. We were better in every dept and more chances n goals will come with improved fitness and confidence. I predict we will be the leagues form team when the play offs begin, maybe Hibs peaked too early or maybe we were so poor we made everyone else look like world beaters.

Agree5 Disagree2

23 Mar 2015 19:07:00
Ceexxx- Aird not the greatest defensively I would rather McGregor was played as a right sided wing back.

Agree3 Disagree2

23 Mar 2015 19:19:23
Allan was marked out of the game by Shiels and Murdoch and so much so that he played on.the left side of midfield in the second half as for keeping established players add Sheils to the list.

Agree0 Disagree2

23 Mar 2015 19:39:11
It was a neat move by McCall to frustrate Hibs. The lad Allen's petulance was testament to that fact. I think the three centre halves worked a treat. Big jig's lack of pace didn't become an issue because he had a bit of pace and extra cover round about him. And I actually like McGregor at wing back. I think he and Wallace are maybe the answer. Ffs don't bring back Aird. The lad is quick but I don't think he's the long term answer. His final ball is usually mince.

Agree4 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 20:58:56
Scotty 123, I agree hibs midfielder scott allan would be a great signing for us mate as he's a very good midfielder but I disagree with you when you say allan stood out for hibs against us yesterday mate, he didn't get a kick of the ball yesterday as young murdoch did a number on him to nullify him completely, scott allan had no influence in the midfield yesterday whatsoever mate!

Agree2 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 21:13:19
We could put foster in the right with mccregor in the middle, foster is a bombshell in defence but is actually quite good going forward, even seb faure is decent goig forward.

Agree0 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 21:39:25
I agree j r. Allan had a poor game because we didn't just stand back and allow him the time and space he needs to hurt you. It's such a simple game really!

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 23:10:41
Just my opinion guys, I thought Allan looked like the only player in the hibs team who could open us up and cause us any problems. The boy can play and wouldn't cost us much!
If Shiels can put a run of performances together like that then aye fair do's but then again a few seemed to rise the occasion, even Moshni and he's brutal. I'm hoping McKay gets a run out next year as for me Aird just ain't got it.
Wouldn't bring McGeoch back, he's always had decent touches but he's one paced.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 11:34:51
We need to give Moashni a run under McCalls coaching as he is an international rated defender and should be in team ahead of McCulloch. Just needs told NO DRIBBLING in our own box. As he did today

Obviously McCulloch can't be dropped but great tactics McCall slotting 3 at back to cover for McCulloch lack pace/skill etc Moshni was great today cleared everything bar one slip and took the ball up the park well from defence McCulloch unable to do this

McCalls stamp all over the team effort great and some good signs for the playoffs

Believable5 Unbelievable4

23 Mar 2015 12:20:14
Awful positioning and decision making, although pacey and good in one v one situation, when he plays we must play a high line which results on mcculloch getting ripped apart lol

Agree5 Disagree2

23 Mar 2015 13:49:50
I don't know, he attacks the ball well defending corners and set pieces, something that badly needs sorting, and players are different under different managers.I think if he sticks to his strengths without trying to be Beckenbaur, McCall may get a turn out him. He's fit aswell, unlike most of them.

Agree4 Disagree1

23 Mar 2015 19:42:17
I see big Moshni as a kind of poor man's Amoruso. He can actually play a bit but thinks he's a better player than he is. Like big Amo, if he sticks to the simple thing, he's fine. Most games against Celtic the big fella had that ratbag Sutton in his pocket and only let him crawl out at the end of the game. Good to watch!

Agree2 Disagree0

23 Mar 2015 10:36:34
thought the performance and result was more like the rangers of yester year, the boys deserve credit for it, dug in and showed a bit of spirit, let's hope this can carry us on for what's left of the season. also 20 years to the day of the death of davie cooper rip, my hero!!
