I would love us to look at Dan Burn the Fulham giant center back 23 he is six foot seven and just the type for Scottish football not offered a new deal yet Grant will prob offer him to his old club though be free on bosman soon we have to fix that defence.

Yes he does Trav and Waggy Kiernan came from league one as well and are doing alright. I said played in the championship not plays in the championship.

Saturday was no real surprise to a lot of us worrying about results the past few weeks. Opposition have figured out the pattern and predictability of our play and singled out players who aren't a goal threat, lack the final pass and close down quickly the players we do have who can shoot for goal.
What surprises me is the absence of Tom Walsh because he has great skills and is unpredictable. 10 players pick themselves and we all know who they are but the one to play upside or right of Waghorn is not working out. Oduwa has been given more than a fair chance, Miller and Clarke aren't doing it. Tom Walsh fits the bill.

Problem with Walsh is that he like many other wingers in Scotland doesn't have much of an end product.

I have been saying for wks that we needed to watch out that we were in trouble and Hibs were in a good position to catch us. All that now separates us from hibs is game in hand.
MW should never have taken international break off!
We better sign players in January and not just 2 we need experience. Hibs have a better squad than us, more equipped for a fight in the Scottish championship!
We are in danger of a play of spot again and I do not fancy playing Dundee utd for the change to go up! We need to take care of hibs on 28/12 or we are in real trouble, you heard it hear first.
Slate me all you want but I am being a realist here!

Hibs will lose Cummings and possibly McGinn there goal threat and play maker. let's see how they replace them before we start worrying. Am sure we will strengthen to hopefully sign new defenders and winger and striker creative mid holding mid.

Hibs have been in good form but the will hit a blip and we will be out of outs people are talking like hibs will win all there games I don't think so keep the faith in w and w we trust.

Have to agree we are a better side, I know are squad isn't blessed with great depth, but is more than enough to cope Hobos on the other hand couldn't really afford to lose any players to injury or the January sales, a bigger worry for them is the chance of losing their manager, with the majority of the unclean across the city becoming more and more disillusioned with ronny, stubby could be the cheap option their board would be looking at. Looking forward to the rest of the season and the spfl next. WATP.

so what are u saying we are a better team, yeh we play nice football and pass the ball well but what does that matter if you canny win matches when it really comes to the crunch. you now think we should wait for hibs to lose players or lose there manager and we will be all right! you think oh hibs have won 12 games on the bounce cause they are lucky they will soon lose! NEWS FLASH ! not that simple. Hibs have been together longer, stubbs has year plus more experience and they have a more equipped squad!
Cold horrible days await in the winter months in Scotland against teams and guys who have fought tooth and nail to play in Scotland and earn hard earned bread.
you think playing a couple of loan kids from England against these guys is going to cut it! We are now being found out. What if Tav and Waggie and Wallace got inj as example and maby hallidy got suspended for a few games we would get found out. We need players good experiances guys who have been there and done it one being a prove goal scorer and another 2 solid midfield players and a experience old head at the back! If not we are going to be in for a rough ride fellow bears, I can see it all unfold just now!

Mw said he will only sign one or two players maximum, I think we need more than that, but I would try and let a couple go to fund that, but we have only lost one and drew one so its not all doom and gloom.

I think hibs will hit a blip but so will we the way we play. all teams have to do is 2 lines of four mark7ng there man then hit us on the break. it was refreshing to see but now we need to mix it up.1 dimension an if we keep it that way we won't get promoted. barcelona played that way and struggled some times also then battered teams too but were no barcelona.

Yes we have players on loan. So do Hibs.
Dominic Ball (for example) is head and shoulders above every other defender in our league so having him on loan is a pleasure

Sometimes we need to go down the middle more though. Also without Miller starting to make it stick and link up with the younger legs in midfield we seem to drop points. Miller experience and leadership qualities helps us out. Can see why he got the new deal been like a new player going to be a good coach.
Someone like him but younger would be good someone fast that can play of the shoulders of defenders and get goals a energetic worker am not buying we need a predator just now because we have no play maker in midfield a guy that is going to dominate in there on his own nor to we have someone left wing that is cosistant who will rip it up every week we git a guy on loan learning his trade maybe Walsh will get his chance soon or we bring Murdoch back in midfield?

I think if you remember last season we had proven goal scorers in Boyd and miller and experienced midfielders in Black Law and shiels
That made all the difference
People need to calm down
We will improve the team in January but only if the right players are available
We do need a young hungry centre forward and a real enforcer in midfield.

Chris Herd be good buisness if we can get him he has proved he is over his injuries half Scottish to will have no probs fitting in, exactly what we need a holding mid ex Villa still young enough to sell on for good cash. Be teams in England watching the situation Soutter be great to if he does not also sign a new deal. Herd could pass on experience of playing in EPL.

You want a young hungry striker banging in goals who plays off the shoulder of defenders? We got one of those. I have to ask if any of you actually watch the U20's. the future of our great team. If Tav gets injured, bring on Ross McCrorie, If Halliday gets injured we recall Murdoch, if Holt or Zel gets injured we have Thomson, Liam Burt and Dylan Dykes. And then there is young Hardie who has been banging in goals for fun for well over two seasons now.

I watch Rangers and Clarke flatters to deceive that is what he should do with his pace but his movement let's him down most of the time not Rangers class for me we could do better. For me he is lower SPL level might get a game with Hamilton or Partick one day.
