It would seem that Dave king and co have been thwarted in their attempt to wrestle control from the evil within, so with that in mind, tonight I make one of the hardest decisions of my life after 32yrs of flying and driving up from Southampton, I will be joining the many who had the foresight to stop earlier feeding the total who have taken our great club once again to the brink of oblivion, i'm a grown man of 51 and have been reduced to sitting with tears in my eyes texting this, as I never thought I could bring myself to do this. GOD BLESS GLASGOW RANGERS.

Don't give up just yet soton bear read kings statement on a website he's not for giving up and says he will need the support of the fans over the coming months and will give further information at a later date.

King will be back 100% This isn't the end from him. The board will be under a huge amount of pressure now to explain were they are going to be getting money from. And like King said in the next few months i'm sure he will back

Soton bear
You are not any less of a fan for sticking it out a little longer. Everyone is entitled to do what they feel is the right thing. I gave up my season ticket this season as I have started a new business and gave up everything but the way the club were going made it so much easier as I wasn't paying money into the club for it to be spent on the Spivs. The club is a complete shambles. From the boardroom, management & the stadium is now in dire need of some attention but yet we spent x amount on Wi-Fi that doesn't even work. The rights and contracts have all been sold off so that the Spivs have taken every penny they can so only a true Rangers man would buy into the club to steady the ship. Ashley took back a loan of 18m from Newcastle * (was on bbc website). He is not interested in anything but protecting his deal. King hasn't totally walked away but for the puppet who is Easedale is asking for details of King's backers? I can't understand that as he won't tell us who his backers are. Instead always hits out with a legalprivacy statement. The club is on the brink as it reportedly will be out of money end of November. Will Ashley ride in with this emergency loan everyone is talking about against the clubs assets? Probably but then the fans are powerless as it shows he never intended to accept Kings 16m offer even though it was in the best interests of the club. The gravy train would end and so the support keeps suffering.

So the meeting with king & easdale ended with no agreement being reached and easdale wanting more details & information of who else is involved ?? Why ? would this mean if he liked the people involved he would sanction the deal or if he disliked the people involved he would veto it and why could king not just tell him there and then ?

R. f. Well if easdale wants to know all kings investors before deciding to tell him to shove his plan then maybe he could Dave king and us the courtesy of telling us all about who owns the company's of which he holds the proxy for seeing as he wants openness or maybe he just wants to know who is investing alongside Dave king

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't read to much into what's being reported on that mate the press have no clue what has been discussed between them

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree BT61 who is the mysterious men he fronts will he tell us

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem is lads that easdale doesn't need to tell us or king a thing. Its king that has to convince easdale. I don't believe for one single second that King has held back on who is investing with him. Its all press talk and in my opinion all guess work

@3 He's kept these mystery men under his hat a long time,we all have our suspicions as to who they are,but Easdale is the one in the driving seat.

He won't tell King s**t,let's be honest. Its his job to sell this to Easdale, not the other way round, like it or not.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's hard to believe that King wouldn't lay his cards on the table. Johannesburg to Glasgow is a long way to travel for a meeting.

Leeds United were a great club and still have a great fan base and history and yet they can't get back to where they belong. We simply can't afford to do the same thing. If the King offer falls through and the fan boycott grows, I can see us doing a Leeds. We need Rangers fans running the club for the love of it, not money.

He's looking for as much info as possible to run back and tell Charlie boy what's going on !

Press reporting 'no agreement' between Easdale and King following talks. Who the **** does this Easdale person think he is? At least King has Rangers football club's interests at heart and he is a fan.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

DOIGER he's the guy that's calling the shots unfortunatley that's who he thinking he is. Anyway i wouldn't read to much into this as the press have no idea what was discussed

Agree0 Disagree0

You're right Ross01. Sometimes the press can wind me up!

maximum pressure now need to be put on Easedale to leave and stop having anything to do with our club as of now, nothing has been done yet that inflicts that pressure but a show of dislike and defiance will soon take an effect, starting with a warning that Ibrox will be empty if King is allowed to walk away, that bxxxxxd Green has tied us up in all sorts of ways, if we carry on regardless it won't be for long, because we won't have a club soon if we don't act now, not talk about it, I would love to see DK legal people poring over everything Green did and Ashleys deal, maybe that's why they're so scared to let him in

Agree0 Disagree0

I have advocated all along boycotts don't help but is the time for mass boycott from next gaes to put board under real pressure to concede

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree 110% now. Enough is enough i have been against the boycott personally but this is the only way to show them we won't stand for this anymore. Will a boycott hurt the club YES 100% it will but what other option do we now have? If Kings deal doesn't go through then its going to be a tough few months

Agree0 Disagree0

Tommy you've hit the nail on. The head an Broxburn boycott for two games will need to happen just to let these. People know they need us more than we ne ed them as we don't need them at all if dave king is standing by

Just getting back to the football side of things for a moment guys, I honestly think ally mccoist should take the brave decision and drop either nicky law or ian black from our midfield, I go to all rangers games every week and these two just can't play together in our midfield, they just don't dovetail, simple as that, I know ian black has a lot of critics 'gers fans included but for me nicky law has to be the one dropped as he's been shocking for most of his time with us, most rangers fans are very disappointed with law and undoubtedly black has been playing the better of the two, I would give wee temps a free role & play black, mcleod & aird in midfield, your thoughts please
