Yet another f**k up by the SFA printing the wrong kick off time for the Aberdeen cup game. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. And they wonder why people talk down about scottish football embarrassing! . They got it wrong because they done that much messing about with the fixtures. Scottish football needs a massive overhaul. The SPL needs more teams in it to try and bring up the standard and so we are not playing each other 5 times or whatever.
And some of the youngsters in the bigger teams could be loaned out and playing a slightly better standard.

24 Oct 2018 07:46:39
Mistakes happen, did you slaughter rangers for putting Ryan Kent out in a different shirt in Villarreal?

24 Oct 2018 11:47:11
However useless they are, that would be an editorial mistake nothing to do with the men at the top.

24 Oct 2018 14:04:27
It wasn't a different shirt he wore, the photo had been photo bombed or shot or whatever the f*** It's called!

24 Oct 2018 15:06:37
@the seeker, šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ well said mate, is this not common knowledge now?

24 Oct 2018 23:31:17
It wasn't a mistake, they printed the tickets before the time was changed then put a note in each envelope with the revised kick off time.

24 Oct 2018 23:50:40
The tickets have nothing to do with the sfa.

23 Oct 2018 18:31:01
2 videos online made me chuckle out loud on the bus tonight first was SG you normally get a reaction when you get "pumped 6-0 referring to Hamiltons result
2nd one was elected buffalo shouting and agreeing to give a young fan his top on Thursday well done guys and a special mention to our captain and Connor goldson for thier visit to see little kenzie at Robin house today made the wee man's day.

23 Oct 2018 19:24:08
El buffalo shouting we are the people. Should have read lol predictive txt #55.

24 Oct 2018 07:05:12
I see morelos haters were on here giving out about his lack of language skills? Seemed ok to me and he understood thae wee boy! Even I had difficulty understang him lol.

23 Oct 2018 17:44:51
LoL omg Durrant "i meant no o9ffence when I said "F*** the Pope" can hardly type for laughing.

23 Oct 2018 20:11:15
Lol I know. Thereā€™s no coming back from that blue Pete.

24 Oct 2018 16:45:20
What would possess a grown man to shout that? Unbelievable! Time to grow up.

24 Oct 2018 21:20:14
Ian Durrant and his missus were at my friend and his friends funeral in the Chapel at Dunbar a few years ago so there is no sectarianism there, just a stupid mistake whilst trying for a cheer from any numpties in the audience.

24 Oct 2018 00:35:22
Well he didn't offend me.

23 Oct 2018 17:10:17
Madison playing at the Posh - I am a Rangers Fan?

Seems like a really good player - Would he be worth a punt?

24 Oct 2018 07:47:44
Why because he said he likes rangers?

24 Oct 2018 14:47:06
How, is it a crime to like Rangers?

It is being reported that he is open to an offer from Rangers and from his stats looks the type of player SG likes.

If you know better Sweep.

24 Oct 2018 00:32:57
He plays in England's third tier, he's been put on the transfer list twice and has never attracted any interest from England's top forty clubs. Says a lot.

25 Oct 2018 13:45:26
Sounds like the sort of player the breadman gave us. No thank you.

23 Oct 2018 15:51:58
I never seen David Bates as much as most of you, but from what I saw he had the makings of a decent player, he was raw but did play some good games for Rangers, if Arsenal and Everton are watching him, they must see something, is there a sell on clause in his sale?

23 Oct 2018 16:11:26
Ulsterman Iā€™d say unlikely as he left freedom of contract. However, there will be a development fee due I think.

23 Oct 2018 22:44:41
Why would there be a development fee.
We took him from raith rovers.

24 Oct 2018 07:48:44
Has nowhere near good enough for the EPL.

24 Oct 2018 09:35:34
Bar 72, all clubs he play get a %. Not sure how much though could be buttons.
Remember after Armstrong went to England it was classed as an international move so development money went to united and non league team beforehand got hundred k.

24 Oct 2018 22:59:28
Hot and cold.

23 Oct 2018 13:51:52
It would interest me greatly approximate cost of teams to renew pitches to grass. If approximate cost was known and could be levied against player injuries it might be point to take to Scottish Office to lobby against. These are professional football teams for Chrissake.

23 Oct 2018 15:28:25
The cost of laying turf isn't great, it's the revenue these teams make from plastic pitches that's the issue. They are used by all sorts of teams, clubs and for general training facilities and bring in cash to help keep teams afloat. Like it or lump it (and I hate them, having both played and coached on them) they are probably here to stay.

What we should be insisting on is that the SFA should help clubs to lay the best quality material available and renew it every couple of seasons. The one at Hamilton is disgraceful, with pieces of rubber flying up everywhere, a heavy and dangerous surface that really has no place in senior football.

23 Oct 2018 17:31:28
I know there are some matches that are not a great watch on grass, but i don't think I've seen a decent game on artificial, tbh. Surely, apart from injury risks, the fact that the matches are nowhere near entertaining never mind being a spectacle, should also be of concern to football authorities?

24 Oct 2018 07:02:50
Pdot what do the sfa know about an entertaining game? They think scotland getting humped evey game is entertaining! !

24 Oct 2018 11:46:26
Livingston game was pretty entertaining IMO lol.

24 Oct 2018 14:47:42
Not as good as killie vs celtic Tompo88.

23 Oct 2018 13:50:17
David Bates apparently being chased by a host of teams down in EPL according to bbc sport. Surely this has to be someone taking the p***.

23 Oct 2018 12:11:24
Thank you Ed.

{Ed001's Note - welcome.}

23 Oct 2018 11:29:22
Does anyone know if there are any plastic pitches in the EPL?

{Ed001's Note - they are not allowed in the Premier League. If I remember correctly they are not allowed in the EFL either.}

23 Oct 2018 11:12:21
With Dorrans, Arfield and Jack injured recently that is a whole midfield, plus Murphy too! Does anyone know when the first three will return? As for plastic pitches, I've stated my view before that they should be banned from the top flight of Scottish football. Surely the SFA could give teams with plastic pitches a grant to restore them to grass and install undersoil heating?

23 Oct 2018 11:47:42
Come on Doiger, you're just being sensible, and when do the powers that be in Scottish football ever do anything even remotely sensible.

They would rather damage players and disappoint fans than do what is right and proper.

23 Oct 2018 13:37:35
Undersoil heating is hideously expensive to run. So that's another added cost to those clubs coupled with losing an income stream from being able to rent it out. I hate plastic pitches but I think it's an unfortunate reality of the state of Scottish football. There's no money.

23 Oct 2018 09:10:50
Orangefuture . That was an excellent text, full of Witt and fun. Rangers have come on leaps and bounds, the signings have been going up a notch, ok mistakes are made but one can see the improvement. Itā€™s a better league this year and has been getting steadily better since Rangers came back up, and they said they didnā€™t need us, even Celtic needed us as their attendances have shoot up.
