j1985 so we both agree 4-5-1 that has to be a no brainer let's see what Sat brings. I also thought Tav done well on Sunday I just think quick and could do the job in midfield both attacking and tracking back, agree Beerman as much as he's got potential not sure about sticking him in mid for this one (not to say he may not end up there on another day) . Who knows what PC is thinking but I think he has to show he has learned from what was a wrong call in the first half set up on Sunday.

25 Apr 2017 00:02:49
For me it has to be hodson right back and tav in midfield in front of him then if Wallace is fit him at left back with beerman in front of him then holt and toral holding and hydmen in behind miller if Wallace is out then I'd say dodo out on the left I surpose

25 Apr 2017 18:03:29
Tav is hopeless in midfield, he is so much better coming from deep, if that means being a little bit worse off defensively so be it. You can be good as you like at the back but if you can't score you can't win.

Go out all guns blazing.

Fod
Tav Bates Wilson Beerman
Dodoo hyndman toral McKay
Windass
Miller.

25 Apr 2017 18:06:02
Not sure I would play Beerman after he got roasted by ROberts, maybe Hodson at left back as long as 5 in midfield and Dodoo.

24 Apr 2017 22:20:15
If we are to have any chance against them on Saturday we must put Hodson back in (better defender than Tav) and put Tav in midfield and go 4-5-1, never thought I would say it but. Flood the midfield and play King Kenny up top he can hold it up and try and get some width and pace to support him. If I see Scot Broon walk through another derby not breaking a sweat and doing step overs I will be physically sick (I would pay money to stick a tough tackle on him if I was ever lucky enough to have pulled on the blue jersey) c'mon Pedro no more mr nice guy posing before kick off get these players wound up and put a bloody rocket up them.

24 Apr 2017 22:44:38
I actually thought Tav was our best player on Sunday. Sure he gave the penalty away but he was the only one tracking with a man over if he never acted. I'd actually play Hodson left back and push Beerman up, think the young lad had a tough time at full back against them but I've no doubt he'll learn from days like that but short term I'd go Hodson left back, Beerman left side of a flat five in midfield with Holt and Hyndman either side of Toral with Windass right, just for a bit of physicality and Miller would start all day ahead of Waghorn and Garner.

25 Apr 2017 18:00:39
Rangers1971 that's your solution get the players wound up that would really work Players need to be focused calm when on the ball so you can think about what's going on around you If you are wound up before the game there is only one outcome defeat due to rash tackles and rash decision making Pedro needs to deliver a game plan clearly to everyone and stick to it

25 Apr 2017 19:02:23
whats wrong with waldo won't he be fit in time i think he had forrest in his pocket last time and i would maybe even give beerman a crack at lm

24 Apr 2017 20:13:42
When you consider PC was in the stand at Parkhead to ensure his career didn't start off negatively he surely blow it on Sunday?

What "game plan" has he been teaching the players during the week?

Not sure his career will survive must longer unless he grows some "b. s" starting next weekend against Celtic.

Played Celtic 6 times now 2 draws (1 win with penalties) best we do?

No longer a case of players looking at themselves more packing their bags.

Manager may not be long after them .

24 Apr 2017 20:37:35
Played Celtic 7 times since you re-formed ranger, L 5 D 2. Just want to make sure the facts aren't blurry.

24 Apr 2017 21:23:21
Ranger, you need a dose of reality. what did you really expect, miracles?

Leave Bhampot to do the negative BS

24 Apr 2017 22:41:44
Rangers 159 Celtic 150 Draws 98

That looks more like it Bhampot.

24 Apr 2017 23:10:54
That's totals for Scottish league, Scottish Cup and league cup games.

25 Apr 2017 00:45:09
Bhampot can't count it seems.

25 Apr 2017 19:00:53
watched the game with my cousin who supports them and he was screaming and jumping up and down when they scored nearly crying, honestly then after the game said it doesn't really matter you aren't rangers anymore lmfao so u scream and shout and jump up and down like that when you score against hibs? nah mate usual stuff we are only rangers when they want to slag us but aren't rangers when we have something to say

25 Apr 2017 19:00:18
bhampot forgot about the last semi final may have won comfertably on penalties but still won

24 Apr 2017 17:58:20
I understand this is Warburtons team and we need new recruits but we need to get lucky in the transfer market as King isn't loaded and I also think Pedro got tactics massively wrong by trying to sit back and allow Celtic to come on to us. Hope Pedro learns from this on Saturday. Positive note I thought Miller acted like a captain and leader. Beer man played good and will improve.

24 Apr 2017 20:48:14
Agree Bluedrama, thought young Beerman, Bates and the boy Dodoo all showed up well and will be better for the experience. TEam was set up wrong, big lesson for Pedro about the old firm. Also showed IMO that Halliday and Waghorn are at best useful blunt instruments and not Rangers class. Agree Miller is our leader!

24 Apr 2017 23:18:26
I thought beerman got taught a lesson yesterday

25 Apr 2017 05:36:16
The biggest lesson that Beerman was taught was never to rely on having Halliday in front of him. That waster hung the young guy out to dry with his totally amateur display. Hopefully we will have a fully fit Wallace back at left back for Saturday with young Beerman on the left wing and Halliday in the stand with the rest of the fans!

25 Apr 2017 19:01:14
people may slate me over this one but i don't care .

mckay is inconsistant but is our best option at the moment in these big games so for me he must start before garner

forrester has been on the sidelines long enough now and is good enough for a shot ahead of waggy so that's the wings sorted with miller and dodoo in the middle i think we would have celtic worried and catch them off guard.
with holt mopping up and wb's supporting three cb's i'd hope we could get a better result.

24 Apr 2017 15:30:15
A summer clear out is a must but unless we can recoup decent cash for the dross we have then we need to send them out on loan or use them as part exchange .

But who will want kiernan waghorn these guys couldn't get a game at wigan

halliday can't handle the pressure of being at rangers and ends up trying to do too much snd then forgets what it is he was suppose to be doing

tav forgets he has defending to do as well as attacking and gets caught out too much maybe with a better midfield he could be better player?

Forrester moh re just not up to it period get what you can for them or loan them out and off the wage bill

Dodo can stay with new additions he will shine and he knows were the goal is

Garner has not had the service yes he is a hot head but he will score goals with service but if we can get what webpaid for him he can go

Miller and maybe hill should get deaks for another year for experince and to boost the squad numbers

Niko and jordan fit is like 2 new signings in midfield mckay can go too to inconsistant and not intrested enough plus he is only player we can really sell for cash

Wallace great servant never really been a fan of him never a captain in mho if we can fet cash for him i would take it

Keepers we are ok so we really need 2 solid cb 1 cdm 1 cm 2 wingers 1amf and 2 strikers

So before some of you shoot me down its just my opioin and what i think we need and what we could do

24 Apr 2017 18:52:55
no point in thinking we need to clear out in the summer as we don't have the money to rebuild from scratch its not black and white mate there are some really good players in our team that would with better players beside them bring out the best in them.

just look what happened at the piggery four signings 3 major impacts and the whole team looks better for it feel better for it and are better for it so we just need to hope that we can do the same sort of thing but one thing is for sure we shouldn't be doing a lot of our shopping down south as everyone is overpriced down there.

id like to see a good mixture of players coming in under pedro players he knows of will come and couple of players that jj may know to bring to the club.

under pedro tav looks better hungrier and fitter as well as holty i think we have a manager that will bring out the best in players especially when he can add a few of his own into the mix. big solid quick centre back is a must and a forward that can actually score goals and maybe even hold the ball up the park

24 apr 2017 18:53:00
knowger, i don't think we need 9 new players in our team

over reacting to a bad loss.

rangers are just back in this league

we are and will be for a couple more years be behind celtic financially (footballing terms hopefully not)

but i don't think we need to be where celtic are at all we need to do is be better than the rest on the teams in scotland next year with way more consistency and let the old firm games take care of themselves as if we have a confident team of winners it won't matter that they have more money than us

24 Apr 2017 19:03:28
James Stirling

Who would you say are the really good players in our team?

24 Apr 2017 22:43:00
I agree with knowger iv got it at 9 players needed and the exact same positions and the outs will be kiernen senderos hill Halliday forrister moh windass waghorn and garner

25 Apr 2017 19:03:03
So james you mentioned 2 players in our team that were good on sunday does that leave 9 players?

25 Apr 2017 19:10:53
starting from the back fod could be brilliant keeper with better defence
tav could be brilliant with better surroounding him mckay if we can get the best out of him more consistantly holt has came on to a game under pedro miller would be a brilliant supersub next season windass looks a good player having a bad spell and i know everyone loves to hate thgeir own players for some reason but forrester in my opinion would make for a great no.10

thats just my opionion.

bring in 1-2 new cb's a rw cillibre of sinclaire and sum1 to put the ball in the net and all the players I've mentioned will get better and play like they can.
look at the darkside armstrong forrest rogic thierney boyata all these players look far better this season than they did last season and that's because a new manager brought in some class to the team. who is to say we can't do the same? anyway its my opinion doesn't have to be the same as yours but i'm right! lol

24 Apr 2017 15:24:20
guys bit of banter on this one i think but why do people not see what i do when forrester is playing he has massive potential and hunners or technical ability and i think in the right set up he could be a great cam just behind the striker(s).

24 Apr 2017 15:55:20
I had the same conversation on Saturday with my nephew think there a player there

24 Apr 2017 15:53:43
Forrester hasn't really played since Caixinha arrived and didn't get much time previous especially last 3 or so months so I've just concluded that Caixinha doesn't rate him and must not be showing anything in training so definitely looks like he's off!

24 Apr 2017 16:12:42
I think forresters hopeless, never liked him, he's to selfish and tries to do to much instead of the simple thing

24 Apr 2017 18:56:09
Have to disagree, he should be one of the first out the door. I think he has very little to offer, maybe sliding in late.

24 Apr 2017 18:59:02
Excluding niko he's the most skilfull player in the squad! He has a great touch and can beat a man he also plenty of energy and is a pest to opposing players! However there is a nasty wee streak in there at times! He would definitely feature in my squad but there is obviously some reason he doesn't play much football, likely commitment/ attitude problem!? Looking like his days at ibrox are numbered, could move on and blossom under the right manager!

24 Apr 2017 22:07:58
I would rather he was in the team than the chuckle brothers up front

24 Apr 2017 22:49:17
He Couldn't even get a game at Doncaster rovers yet he has quality and should be in are team 🤔 Tbh him getting a 3year deal after just doing ok in the Scottish championship was another stupid move by warburton.

24 Apr 2017 15:18:52
We didn't play well at all yesterday. However you can see Pedro had a game plan to try and score off set pieces and long throw ins. Just feel he got the formation and team selection wrong. Hopefully he will set up differently next weekend.

The problem is none of these players are his, need a summer transfer window before he can properly be judged. Everyone's saying we need a defence, they weren't that bad the midfield was the problem. Pedro has inherited a Warburton team where all the players are of similar physical stature and all want to play nice tika taka football. Yes you need 1 or 2 of those players in midfield to play 'nice' football; however Pedro needs to put the CDM position at the top of the transfer targets. A big physical no on sense type player who can also pick a pass. Secondly a striker or two. Once again all the strikers are too similar. I would go for Cummings and then look for a more physical striker who's good in the air.

Overall need to get rid of quite a few players: Kiernan, Halliday, O'Halloran, Garner, Waghorn

Top targets:
Cummings (apparently already agreed a deal)
Walker
CDM
CM
2 CB's.

24 Apr 2017 18:17:02
Pedro has to go 442 against them next week because he got it completely wrong and played straight into their hands by giving them space to run riot down both wings. I'd put hodson in at right back and push tav up to right mid. Possibly put Wallace (if fit) at left back and push beerman up to left mid so they can cover up on their wingers.

Halliday should be nowhere near the team. If he starts next week I will lose all of my trust in Pedro. Start Toral and Hyndman. Miller and Dodoo up front.

24 Apr 2017 18:57:18
For the life of me, i just can't see hibs selling jason cummings to rangers! I personally don't want him and think there's better quality than him out there! I stand to be corrected but i'll say here and now that jason cummings WILL NOT be signing for rangers!

24 Apr 2017 23:33:10
Cummings - oh god please no!

24 Apr 2017 14:49:06
I reckon it would cost between £75-£90 for a full Rangers kit meaning the club would probably get about £50 for every strip sold . I'm for one would like to make my donation to club every season till we get rid of that dodgy 2p to the £1 contract . The best club in the world will only get weaker and weaker if we keep hoping there's some billionaire out the going to save us let's act now and get our club back to were it should be .

24 Apr 2017 15:23:42
see i thought about this before just donating the money to the club through a page but then we would probably get into trouble by deying sponsers of cash or breach of contract or something like that

24 Apr 2017 18:19:32
If were only getting 10 p for every pound spend how u work out we get 50 quid for 90 quid spent. i'm no whizzkid but 90 quid spent means we get 9 poubd an fat cashley gets the rest. value for money that. i'm not spending a penny till it back to gers favour

24 Apr 2017 13:52:48
with a summer clear out imminent. what would be the thoughts on bringing Lewis MacLeod back? agreed he's been plagued with injuries since he left but again was such a cracking player albeit again at a lower level. Not trying to suggest that we sign him as starting 11 player but with Toral and Hyndman both leaving and hopefully Halliday joins them would Lewis be an option for a squad player and god knows may become the player he was destined to be?

24 Apr 2017 14:55:01
I just don't see the point in signing a player to be a squad player, to have any chance of mounting a serious challenge we need at the very least 4 quality players that are head n shoulders above what we have and hopefully some of the players that are there just now lift there game the way that mhobs done

24 Apr 2017 15:18:36
Macleod isn't what we need at all. Don't want injury prone players at ibrox and he's not going to help win our title back. He is a good player but no thanks

24 Apr 2017 16:43:58
We need players of genuine ability who will automatically walk into that team, easier said than done. The present Rangers team is so bad you don't know were to start. We have a midfield that creates nothing and poses no real goal threat. We don't have competition for the main strikers position and we have a lack lustre defence. PC will earn every pound he gets trying to make that team into real title/ cup challengers. We need a clear out and major financial investment but like I said easier said than done.

24 Apr 2017 18:20:42
We need only sign first team players. i would take 11 good players and bench o kids anyday

25 Apr 2017 00:20:06
Even with us he had long term spells out. He will never fulfill his potential

24 Apr 2017 13:06:24
Yesterday showed that we do definitely need to make adjustments to our squad everybody has an opinion on who should go and who should stay but as far as getting rid of between 12 to 15 players in one go is beyond ridiculous look at hearts yes it was ok for the first couple of games but look at what has happened since but we do need to get rid of some including halliday waghorn garner holt windass and if done correctly we need a totally new spine of the team a goalkeeper centre half centre midfielder and someone who can score goals our joint leading scorers this season in the league still hasn't reached double figures this has to change there is someone out there

24 Apr 2017 13:40:33
Guys like Holt McKay widass crooks rossiter etc. should b kept as squad players with a good ch to play with hill 2 cm to play with krancjar if he's fit would like to see 2 European wingers coming in and a more areal striker we've had some good bosman deals in the past most positions we need we could fill without paying a fee if Pedro has good contacts here's hoping

24 Apr 2017 13:50:20
I think were doomed again!

24 Apr 2017 15:12:28
totally agree with you there i'd only get rid of senderos kiernan waggy and garner and halliday plus the two loan boys will be away so that would be 7 which is already quite a lot when we have no money to buy in anyone of real quality to replace them.

24 Apr 2017 15:15:12
I think big Wes has done a tremendous job for us this season so I would disagree on you with that but you're spot on with the other players you mentioned I would include McKay as well for the exit door he's far to inconsistent for me

24 Apr 2017 15:21:30
Yeah I think a brilliant finisher or two, would get us a lot more points on the board.

A good passing mf workhouse and enforcer would be good.

These would be my main priorities but we definitely need strength in other areas too.

24 Apr 2017 10:37:31
Bears, all Caixinha can do and all I want to see him do is this; during the Transfer Window Caixinha must get rid of Kiernan, Halliday, Forrester, O'halloran, Garner and Waghorn.

Rangers must use their head to get some players; loan deals may make more sense financially instead of taking a huge hit financially due to the miss management of players de-valuing them.

Players such as Garner and O'halloran could go on loan with an option to buy at the end of the deal instead of accepting 500k for a 1.8m buy! Also I would rather a Club pay hopefully 100% but even 80% of a players wages for a season would be better than accepting 100-250k for a 500k buy then at end of loan the Club may offer a better bid and also the player has hopefully put himself in the shop window.

Deals for possibly a younger player at a Championship or League 1 Club could see us using a player + cash deal to oust some players.

Anyways what Caixinha does pre-season and the way we play next season to me means giving Celtic a game, taking points off them, rubbing every team at least once, finishing no lower than 2nd, 15-20 points above 3rd and having a squad at a fortress that are looking forward to winning the League in the following season.

Expectations must be realistic and Transfer Funds must be released we will not compete if King gives Caixinha £2-3 million for a season!

24 Apr 2017 12:50:15
Andy1872

Agree with a lot you say and of course you need to give the manager time however I was really disappointed that he allowed the team to produce such a pathetic gutless display. If you can't motivate players to perform in a cup semi final against your biggest rivals you never will. Yesterday was appalling and some of the players should be ashamed of their display

24 Apr 2017 15:21:34
yesterday was worse than the game against hearts at tynecastle, then again what have dundee and hearts done since they beat rangers, nothing in fact the just seem to do a 1 off up their game against us

24 Apr 2017 15:20:18
Yeah Bengy, agree with you regarding the players attitude, its beyond me, no matter the tactics BUT Caixinha MUST learn from this and out with re-thinking tactics if he feels or his style differs when having to heterosexual it through to players that their in a game then give the stage to the Captain! And yeah I know Wallace doesn't sermon like the best choice but currently Miller has it and I think he would be ideal to fire the team up for the game at Ibrox.

Next season Caixinha has a decision to make on excactly this either make Miller Captain nxt season which if he stays i'd go with although he prob isn't going to start or last every match so need to see who he brings in but definitely change it and let Wallace concentrate on being a solid LB which I think he is, letting Beerman take up the LW position.

Would like Caixinha to put some of the headlines that have been written about him and the squad up in dressing room same as Smith did! I hope he now realises a thing or two about the press and retaliates by going tonto!

24 Apr 2017 10:27:32
We have to remember Pedro is still assessing the squad. He will notice what players are not good enough like Halliday, garner and the others. He will know players that are done well since he came in like holt, miller and the 2 young lads. Pedro will have his own players in mind for different positions and I'm sure no one has a clue who they are. Let's just write this season of as warbuton left a very poor squad and hope Pedro builds a better one for next season

24 Apr 2017 10:51:54
Scotty, Pedro said he had the best squad in scotland, do you think he was fibbing? 🤔

24 Apr 2017 11:01:03
He has to get the squad to perform till the end of the season if he told the truth the team would just gave up so yes he was lying and everyone new it.

24 Apr 2017 12:51:55
I did mention this a month ago that he shouldn't have said that and was slaughtered by a few on here. This comment has made him look stupid and if it was an attempt to gee up the players it's clearly failed

24 Apr 2017 13:51:43
Iv'e always been a pesemist just my nature i guess but Gers need a complete new midfield and forward line. Hell knows where we're gpoing to get that kinda money.

24 Apr 2017 14:36:34
Memaself, Pedro didn't say he HAD the best squad in Scotland what he said was, he had to BELIEVE he had best squad in Scotland. Subtle difference. Check the dictionary for the meaning of subtle. Oh a ductionary is a big book that explains the meaning of words. Oh and a book is a something with pages and writing on it. 😂

24 Apr 2017 21:23:19
Agree with most comments- but beginning to get board with PC already - does he just talk "bullshit"?

24 Apr 2017 23:10:46
which ductionary are you referring to the ornithology one

24 Apr 2017 09:44:23
No point posting anything about the "game' yesterday -Suffice to say the only way is up!

Pedro must grab the tiger by the tail and rebuild the team - top to bottom.

Toral and Hyndman will return to their clubs

Kierrnan will never play for Rangers again

Time to move on Waggy and Garner

Tav sold to Forrest

Flog Barry ( the wean) McKay
Senderos, Forrester, MOH out

This needs to be done and new players brought in before end of May - with Europa league qualifiers on horizon

Huge dilema for board - no way will they sell 40000 season tickets to watch this squad without radical change

Not sure the board has appetite for further investment - where will funds come from?

Second or third and a wee cup run. don't think so! Its not good enough

And Pedro needs to wisen up - and quick!

24 Apr 2017 10:24:50
dont agree with letting barry go or forrester and tav was the best we had on the pitch yesterday and to rebuild an entire team cost too much we have to keep our best and let the likes of kiernan halliday and waggy and garner go and moh aswell other than that we nee some real quality to bring out the best in these other players as their game is being brought down a level playing with these other guys and not getting game time (forrester)

24 Apr 2017 14:31:18
We will not get a better right back than tav.

24 Apr 2017 15:09:01
The only players I would keep would be fod, tav, Wilson, McKay and the youngsters.

24 Apr 2017 23:34:56
First out the door should be Halliday, I've never seen just a pathetic excuse for a person that calls himself a Rangers Man. He gets bossed every time against Brown and his bunch. Sadly lacking in guile and guts and a disgrace to the jersey.

24 Apr 2017 08:53:11
Overreaction by many on here as usual after yesterday's result.

Last time around we took Celtic by surprise - everyone expected we'd lose 7-0

This time we went into the match after a reasonable run and Celtic were well prepared. Given the difference in class the result was not unexpected but we had chances to at least level the score.

Our defence was reasonably solid for once but we have a lack of creativity and finishing.

Forget the doom and gloom, we are is a better place than 3 months ago and Pedro will know what we need

Next season our target should be 2nd (within 8 points) and a cup win.

3 or 4 signings plus the injured players back at full fitness and we will be ok.

24 Apr 2017 09:17:54
Reasonable way to look at it BR65. 👍

24 Apr 2017 09:23:29
We were second best everywhere but the way we gave the ball away so easily put ourselves under tremendous pressure needlessly was unacceptable. Better team won fair play to them.

24 Apr 2017 09:28:23
Most of us on here can accept that Celtic are better just now. Most of us could accept a defeat in the right manner, but yesterday was shocking! A totally inexcusable showing. No fight, desire or passion.

24 Apr 2017 09:59:55
I honestly think we need more than 3 or 4 signings just about the whole team are not up to it yesterday and our league position says it all

24 Apr 2017 10:28:30
bawbag2017, we can't afford a whole new team but look across the city 3-4 signings and they have transformed from the team we outplayed last season to a team that's hard to recognise.

its amazing the difference a few good players can make on the rest of the team

24 apr 2017 10:51:24
i think we over estimate how many players we will have to bring in even when talking about the players we want out. those who 100% must go are kiernan. halliday, o'halloran, forrester, waghorn.

players out depending on bids for mckay, garner. or out on a loan deal with option to buy instead of accepting a very low transfer fee!

players definetly going; sendaros, toral, hyndman.
out of all those players 2 are usually in starting 11. toral and hyndman and 2 more mckay and waghorn in and out starting 11!

so if all these players go we do need to add to the squad but in terms of strengthening the squad and buying quality then a top class ch to partner wilson with bates and hill back up.

remember hill's contract will be renegotiated and i think for money he will be on then he could for a job for 1 more season or we bring in a free for around same wages, bates will get game time but still developing.

a top class attacking winger. i believe we do have 2 within our club that will hold their own nxt season in beerman lw and atayaki rw along with rossiter krancjar holt windass crooks we could have a decent midfield.

a £2-3m attacker £20-25k a week.
if king gives caixinha between £5-7m then £1.5-2m on a ch. £2m attmid.
£2-3m on a striker.

these players could poss demand a wage of anything between £15-25k a week.
other transfers brought in would be end of contracts say 2-3 and loans hopefully not too young from top teams with large squads needing to give fringe players game time with rangers picking up a percentage of wage.
all in all 7-9 players in and around poss 11-14 out!

already heard about the lad paulinho from a 2nd division Portuguese outfit and ok from what i've heard sounds promising but i hope to see players arriving that ply their trade in an established lge. i know there will be some hidden gems.

at end of day. if caixinha has a decent budget he will not just be going for 2nd division players or end of contracts!
it all depends on king and budget

I can assure you that Pedro won't be getting anymore than £3 or £4mill at best. Any funds will need to be put up by the current board. King is not going to do it. They need to repay £7mill this year already. So if Pedro gets £3 or £4 its £10 mill payback. let's get real, that money is never going to get repaid and next season more transfer funds will be required. A run in Europa as far as group stage is worth £7mill so that would pay off a lump of the loans but better players want more wages so it never sorts itself out. So someone needs deep pockets and won't expect the loan repaid. Rangers will be closer to Celtic next season finish second but that could be how it is for a few years yet.

24 Apr 2017 13:28:34
Johnnymac, have I missed something on the £7m loan that needs to be repaid this year?

My understanding is that the loans are all soft from current directors/ investors with no fixed repayment date or interest charged?

I thought that the intention was to roll these loans into equity as soon as we are able to issue new shares?

Defence was solid? You having a laugh? The 1st goal a schoolboy team wouldn't lose. Trademark goal against us of long ball up park and ball in the net. How gk never even attempted a save from what was basically a pass into the net was shocking. 2nd goal?

Remember us losing a goal at ibrox few years back because mcgregor came running out his box and the greek guy scored. can't mind his name. That game mcgregor should never have came out. Sunday was different. Total lack of heart from keeper as he could have and should have got to ball before griffiths.

From what I saw in the game, the boy g difference was broony. He broke up our game, intercepted pass after pass with his positioning created acres of space with a step away from Halliday/ holt etc and left Garner/ Waggie and Miller chasing shadows. I absolutely loathe him. But he makes the tic tick. I also want to add About of praise for Bates in particular. He was up against a caliber of player he would never have dealt with before and did very well. Beerman should have been off and had no chance of getting further forward when we constantly lost possession of the ball. I'd prefer to see Kieran use front than waggie or garner. Absolute donkeys the pair of them.

24 Apr 2017 14:32:14
The first booking was never a booking for Beerman referee was a disgrace but because it was in favour of celtic nothing is said.

Loads of outrage about hallidays tackle but nothing about simunovics 2 horror lunges.

24 Apr 2017 15:03:18
i didn't see the line up yesterday and didn't know garner was on the pitch untill 15 - 20 mins into the game .
beerman looks a player but i don't know how he should have been off if your refering to the challenge on roberts that was halliday and yes he should have been off but simunovic's challenge on mckay i the second half was just as bad if not worse.

i agree with your assessment of garner and waggy. waggy is a major let down this season and garner is trying to be a bully on the pitch rather than a football player they can both leave and i would say that to your face waggy lmao!

24 Apr 2017 08:02:09
I would say yesterday was a learning curve for Pedro no excuses after sat.

On a lighter note I was very impressed by tab I thought he was our best player he showed some desire too close down and win the ball and get forward. For me not enough of the team where doing this. Obviously one bad point for tab was the penalty.

Onto sat no point dwelling on the game when there another one on sat we need the points if there's any chance too catch the sheep.

24 Apr 2017 09:32:24
Saturday is a glorified friendly now. We won't catch the sheep, so it means little to our season and even less to Celtic. Even if we beat them on Saturday there will be little to no bragging rights for us. Yesterday was our chance to stand up and be counted.

24 Apr 2017 10:06:17
What do you mean no excuses, they are miles better than the players we have, I'm glad we never won yesterday, that was the worst thing we done last year, now the board must find serious money, if they want challenge Aberdeen then Celtic.

24 Apr 2017 10:07:03
Listen it's warburtons players, they all need to go, not fit to were the jersey, btw I'm talking about players he signed, we must try and get rid of as many as possibly.

24 Apr 2017 15:08:15
little to no bragging rights, our season is at a loss but i will always brag about beating them especially to stop their unbeaten run.

i do however fear that saturday could be worse .

id like to see pedro play three c's with beerman and tav used as wingbacks with hyndman forrester and mckay in the middle and king kenny playing with dodoo up front

24 Apr 2017 15:12:48
Well when Warburton was manager we got beat 5 1 but still played better than that. Pedro needs to just keep it simple till end of the season.

24 Apr 2017 07:38:19
Why was the minutes silence for big Ugo abandoned?

Players looked like they had gathered around centre circle to observe it, and then referee indicated that the game should start.

No excuses about the result yesterday . we were second best in every department.

Pedro got his tactics shockingly wrong . doesn't bode well for next season! Murty's team at Parkhead were better prepared and set out to compete with them.

I hope King is ready to spend the kids inheritance . one evidence of yesterday we need 6 - 8 top quality players . not freebies from lower leagues in England.

24 Apr 2017 10:03:38
Was king there yesterday?

24 Apr 2017 14:47:04
Surely King will do the sensible thing by his kids.

24 Apr 2017 15:16:29
Stuart64, as far as i'm concerned, the minutes applause/ silence was abandoned because i'm sure certain fans would've sang, booed etc through it

24 Apr 2017 07:28:30
My thoughts on the game yesterday are that it was lost in the first half in midfield. I think most people will agree that this is where these games are won and lost.

Halliday marking nobody in build up to goal and saunters back with his hand raised when the goal goes in. He was also lucky to stay on the park for his outrageous tackle.

People say keeper should have done better? It was a decent finish and curled in. Not the keepers fault.

Penalty for me wasn't and even Griffiths said Tav got the ball first. These decisions DO even themselves out so no point moaning.

Garner getting stick I feel is unfair. He had no service whatsoever and was hooked at halftime.

Hyndman was hopeless without Toral alongside him. Toral I feel offers a bit of calmness in the ball and always finds a pass. We struggled to string 3 passes together for 75% of the game.

We will see a massive improvement on Saturday. So long as Halliday doesn't start in midfield. We have to look at the positives. PC has brought in 2 young boys who apart from the odd bit of nervousness have done really well. Jason Holt and Tav both look like new players under him. Once he's has a transfer window to shape the team himself I believe we will see even more improvement.

Have faith bears. The result as always is hard to take but these hard times make it all the sweeter when things come good.

24 Apr 2017 10:04:42
Well said BigBear. We have been on a long journey these last five years and are now back in the top flight. We were never seriously going to compete with celtic this season. I was very disappointed in Warburton and Weir but that's gone now.

Pedro can't be criticised - yet - but why did he start yesterday's game with three centre forwards? I don't rate Waghorn or Garner to be honest. We have young Hardie out there on loan all season who has never been given a chance and Dodoo might have done more had he started.

I agree that Tav and Holt look like new players. Other than them, I'd only keep Fod, Wilson, Bates, Beerman and Miller under a new contract for a year. If, and it is a big if, Rossiter is finally fit he and Kranjcar will be like new signings.

Pedro should only be judged next season when he has had a chance to bring in his own men. We've still a chance next week at home to that mob again. It was only 2-0 yesterday, not 6-0! Have faith in the blues.

24 Apr 2017 10:09:42
Clear penalty all day long, humped 2-0, never thought 2-0 could be classed as a humping, but they were miles better, get the money out mr King or be happy to finish 2/ 3rd every season, but at least tell the fans what our aims are next year/

24 Apr 2017 10:15:51
Agree with most of your post apart from Hyndman. He was shifted out to the right for large spells of the game and he's clearly not cut out for that!
