merry christmas ed hope you have a good one... i stay in dundee and i have always went to tannadice to support the gers but can we please have a yes or a no if there are fans planning on going?

Believable15 Unbelievable3

Dundee united can stick their tickets up a dead bears ass. i for 1 will never set foot in tannadice again.

as for as i am concerned all rangers fans should not attend as this club has put the boot into us on so many occassions

Agree28 Disagree30

What has a dead bear done to deserve that ?

Agree11 Disagree5

@1; Any chance you could name those"many occasions". Start thinking for yourself it is getting ridiculous the amount of fans who are behaving like sheep.

Agree30 Disagree18

Ridiculous that many fans are acting like sheep? I take it every celtic fan acts individually, and the fans boycotting their own ground werent acting like sheep? Did they all decide individually that they would boycott celtic park together...

should we stay or should we go
well i can only talk for myself,as a fan who,s first game was willie waddell,s first home game in charge of Rangers a lot of years ago...i went to lots of games in my teen,s,20s,early 30s but shifts, money put paid to that i,ve got on with life and happily watched the bears oan the tele but with our recent troubles i have made sure that me and my son now both have season books and we are both very proud share holders....what will i be doing the day we play Dundee untd ,me and my son will travel to Glasgow get on the underground and go to the District bar..the Grapes..the Louden and give my support to Rangers people, pubs and fellow bears once again . i hope and pray that fellow fans will join us in giving there money to RANGERS and fellow bears and not to people who wanted us dead and this should continue till we back to were we should be...les

Believable39 Unbelievable36

Very well put sir.
Merry Xmas to Rangers fans everywhere, anywhere.

Agree18 Disagree17

I see that the vote for or against going to that place is close....but as we know not all that has went on is in the public domain..what if the people that exercise there right to go to that place find out things that would change there mind?
now charles green knows a lot lot more of what is going on than us a lot more
he is asking us not to go to that place
should we not take his word for it?...les

Agree0 Disagree2

Dont drink any booze then cos hmrc are getting a whack of that !

See the share price is now 83p, nearly a 20% rise, pretty amazing

Believable15 Unbelievable9

I assume you realise what drives a share price?

Agree5 Disagree9

@1. A chauffeur, lol? If you had shares and wished to sell them on in the future would you prefer them to have risen or fallen in value?

Brian

Agree13 Disagree3

1) yeah I know exactly what drives a share price thank you. 20% is amazing in one week.

Agree12 Disagree4

@Brian; I assumed, maybe wrongly, that the share purchases were more of an emotional than financial investment.

Agree6 Disagree6

@4. For us, the fans, yes but we only equate to a pretty small percentage of the overall shares. Most of which will be held by investors looking for a profit. That was the point I was making.

Brian

Agree10 Disagree2

@ Brian; but why move them on so soon? You would think the institutional investors would be using the tax breaks available over a two-three year period.Cashing in now is a bit strange.

to the post below , let it be known in no uncerv tain manner dundee united were not the only team to try and kill off rangers , it was just about every team with a vote along with rangers themselves who were the biggest problem to the rangers supporters so you really need to accept this you will return to your former glory but your shame will never be let to rest

Believable18 Unbelievable23

The only shame came from craig whyte he was the only person to blame and remember rangers fans will never forget people like you and the clubs will suffer to the point of extinction

Agree15 Disagree21

Why were Motherwell "welcomed" to Ibrox? They voted against as well?

Agree21 Disagree6

Lol. Very good Mr Thompson. Every team has their own shame they wish to forget about, think about that before you spout your xxxx the next time.

Brian

Agree9 Disagree10

We dont boycott our own gaff thats why.

Agree8 Disagree4

Don't forget the Gers were run succesfully by a man who never used a penny of his own money, ran up a debt to a bank of £80m and only sold it to the man who bankrupted us because the bank forced him to as he was not willing to bankroll the debt any more, so why are we only blaming Whyte?

Agree18 Disagree1

Because unlike dundee united, motherwell handled themselves with dognity, they didnt find it necessary to release press statements. Other clubs let their fans decide what was best, thompson couldnt help but spew his anti-rangers bile. Just remember how many clubs fans threatened to boycot their club this season... Yet when we do it we are accused of trying to destroy the once beautiful game

Agree16 Disagree12

Financially proved (public record) that MIH borrowed the money, RFC paid the loans and interest with Ticketus paying off the £18m balancing amount. So Whyte and SDM paid in the same amount?

Agree7 Disagree2

To number 4, think you'll find that your fans threatend to boycot if rangers were not removed from the spl.

To the guys who are proposing to picket Tannadice to encourage their fellow supporters not to enter . Does this apply to Charles Green and fellow freeloaders or just to the faithful who are willing to pay to support their team ?

Paddy Malarkey

Believable21 Unbelievable20

Do they also realise that there are rules about picketing and, as there has been no ballot etc., then there are no legal grounds to picket? Therefore, it will be seen as a protest, for which there may have to be police permission, depending on numbers expected.

Agree21 Disagree6

Just more embarrassment for our club. I will be at Tannadice supporting Rangers, f##k you Green.

Agree30 Disagree26

Can you picket the 18 yard box instead, our defence is as leaky as an SFA rule book

Agree21 Disagree2

Well said to the non-puppet @2.

Agree17 Disagree11

And the comedian @3) lol

so, fans have to stay away, yet green will not boycott DU game?

also, DU have sold tickets directly to rangers for years without complaint and proper security measures are taken to ensure noone from banned list buy them.

green is an embarrassment. i'm sick of reading his drivel every time i open the paper {The Ed039's Note - Yeah I dont see the problem, Dundee United are one of the clubs who didnt want Rangers and Celtic taking a "handling fee" from selling away tickets and have sold tickets direct, I think Green is trying to deflect the blame as a "just in case" and in which case he would be able to give the old "I told you so" speach)

Believable29 Unbelievable14

He is a cheif ex, of course he will be at the game you plonker

Agree13 Disagree20

Green is quite right to attend as the steward of the club, he has a responsibility to look after the team and club affairs. He has listened to the fans, but it doesn't mean he can't carry out his duties in a gentlemanly and responsible manner befitting our great club. It shows we can rise above this 'Nedism Culture' that pervades through Scottish Football now. Dandemo.

Agree13 Disagree30

Dandemo. 8 arrests 2 policemen attacked and injured at your last home game, your spot on with the nedism that pervades through scottish football. Marches threatening everyone since your team went into administration and
liquidation.Who better to talk about
nedism.merry xmas. jamie.

Agree17 Disagree8

It's good enough for him but not for us?Man's making a laughing stock of us again.Just get on with the games and forget this rubbish stuff.Season of goodwill-----where is it at Ibrox?

Agree14 Disagree10

Charles green saved us and the fans are right to boycott united game for thomson is a real hater of our club and hel soon see the error of his way money wise

Agree7 Disagree10

Jamie, my reference to 'Nedism' relates to the way bitterness and bile has invaded Scottish Football through forums and social networks which only revive bigotry and poison which were slowly being eradicated. The 'Nedism' you relate to was disorder caused by a minority organisation who guise as fans but do not represent me or the majority of Rangers fans. Similar to the Green Brigade they have a proliferation of people who are working to a specific political agenda and unfortunately, those who follow them don't have the wear withal to realise this. I am a Rangers supporter who is only interested in the team that takes to the field , not the sideshow that seems to now go hand in hand. Look at it for what it is. Two rival football teams, nothing else. It's only that certain people want to politicise it. Dandemo.

Agree3 Disagree3

All the so called Rangers fans having a go at Green, wise up. He is standing up for us, what is the problem missing this game, we very nearly had no games to go to. For years we have had no-one sticking up for us.
@4, you are a laughing stock.

Agree3 Disagree4

What a laugh - "Charles Green" and ""gentleman" in same sentence.

Agree7 Disagree2

@7
You have had every paper in Scotland plus all the main tv and radio channels eating out of your hands for longer than I care to remenber.
