25 Dec 2015 00:23:19
Well said bigwull.

25 Dec 2015 14:56:25
I think the big Latvian striker could be a real find, I heard he will be signing in January.

26 Dec 2015 00:05:48
Here's hoping that the young Latvian trialist Vladislavs Gutkovskis will sign with our club in the very near future and will continue to show his finishing skills in the penalty box on the way to the title. We are Rangers and Mondays game is yet another challenge to be met head on and to ensure that we keep the 3 points
at Ibrox - Here's to a Magic Monday and a great 2016 to the Rangers family and our supporters all over the world -.

27 Dec 2015 14:00:37
Lemmings had a lot of injury problems but notwithstanding that McCoist needed to ship him and others out to release funds for the geriatric wastes of space that he signed.

24 Dec 2015 18:47:08

24 Dec 2015 15:16:20
Just paid our loan back to Sports Direct onwards and upwards now, Merry Christmas fellow bears.

24 Dec 2015 16:05:23
Perfect, as long as they haven't borrowed from someone else who isn't one of our directors and it is costing us money in interests and has the same land etc as guarantee against de fault. Even I would say well done directors if they have dug deep. if its other way round and another loan to repay a loan, then madness still rules.
Merry Christams one and all, and big thanks ED enjoy and be merry, ho ho ho. have one on Bigwull money in the post :)

24 Dec 2015 13:48:31

24 Dec 2015 07:55:35
Here's a question I was asked last night by a fellow bluenose that I would like to share with you all, I was asked which striker did I rate the better ie. nicky clark or our ex striker andy little, I found it pretty easy to answer, andy little every day of the week was my reply, trying not to be too harsh here on nicky clark but if by bringing back andy little meant us moving clark on then I'd take it yesterday! Thoughts please?

24 Dec 2015 10:51:52
both mince pies, to keep with the festive spirit. I would rather stick with hardie than those two.

24 Dec 2015 11:38:06
Quite right Stuzo, turkeys both of them! Let's hope we stuff Hibs on Monday lol.

24 Dec 2015 12:33:38
aye doiger, am sure we will pall, I can feel it in ma watter, HF am pumped up so a hope the boys are the same, put it this way there's no way a wid lose ma personal battle, a would be running on pure adrenaline Nothin would stop me. A just want to see that smug coupon o stubbsy after a maulin, cumon the mighty gers.

24 Dec 2015 18:10:45
I think we made a mistake by letting go of hemmings. More potential than some of the youth we kept on.

24 Dec 2015 15:04:36
Warburtonthefifteenth: I liked Little and would take him ahead of Clark anytime.

24 Dec 2015 10:17:25
Merry Xmas to all bears and all the
Best for 2016.
If all our manager has to worry
About is his wife's Xmas present
Then it is time he left
The glasgow rangers.

24 Dec 2015 11:17:47
He is refusing to be drawn into the baits laid by Hibs and Stubbs, Warbs has always said its about Rangers and that is as it should be, If we start worrying about other teams that is when we are in real trouble.

24 Dec 2015 11:36:13
Bow mac, m. w. talks sense every time he opens his mouth, big num nuts Stubbs can't handle m. w. and when we go up no manager will be able to rile m. w. he is an educated man.

24 Dec 2015 15:46:34
He never said that's all he has to worry about bowmac he said he's more worried about that than what Stubbs is saying. Also troops I am really disappointed mccoist didn't see more in Kane Hemings. Merry Xmas everybody.

24 Dec 2015 19:06:24
Silly post anyone that saw the interview got it well bar the 1 of us! he ain't interested in Stubbs nonsense.

24 Dec 2015 08:35:58
Just to say a BEARY merry Xmas to all posters and eds, and wish you and your families health, wealth, and happiness in the new year, also a thought and a wee prayer for fellow Bears no longer with us Godbless.

24 Dec 2015 13:09:17

25 Dec 2015 07:25:51

Stats, the word all clubs seem to pour over after matches. We average around 70% possession in games and have the opposition in their own half for most of them. We get 10-15 corners and might as well forfeit them by kicking it out for a goalkick, such is the lack of threat from them.

I hear that we train well, prepare well, eat well, in good shape, will get better etc. Why the hell don't we practice corner kicks? Try a few inswingers with Mckay from the left and Waghorn from the right, get Ball, Wilson or Kiernan right into the box. Not a single short taken corner has resulted in a goal. Just got to look at the stats, coaching staff.

24 Dec 2015 07:07:51
Good post - good to get a couple of goals direct from corners against Hibs - shock everyone including us!

24 Dec 2015 08:11:07
I'd just like to point out that it is Warburton who doesn't like to put the ball in the box from a corner. the way warburton looks at it is that if you randomly punt the ball in the box chances are it will be cleared away, from what I remember of the "stats" most of our corners that are put in the box ended up being cleared and a counter attack was quickly made. keep possession, keep your opposition pinned in. We have 2 Tall players, Wilson and Kiernan, the rest are fairly small players, so why put the ball in the box in the hope that just 2 players can get their head to it. if we were to bring in a tall and strong holding mid and a tall Striker such as the Latvian on trial then I would agree put it in the box from corners. until then keep Possession.

{Ed001's Note - if you put a good cross in to an area and have players attacking it, so both them and the defenders are moving towards the goal, that increases the chances of a goal markedly. Height is not everything, especially if they are moving at pace, the leap increases. Stats also tell anyone, except these idiot technical directors that are trying to reinvent the game, that the more often you put the ball into box the greater the chance of your team scoring.}

24 Dec 2015 09:32:48
Does MW not like long corners or does he realise we don't have anyone who can direct a header? Or indeed who can hit the danger area with a corner instead of beyond the back post?

Also in a great many games possession i'd greatest with the teams who lose; is the quality of possession.

{Ed001's Note - Leicester City have the lowest percentage possession in the English Prem this season, but they are sitting atop the league.}

24 Dec 2015 09:17:25
Well his current plan with corners clearly doesn't work so can't see putting the ball into the box from a corner producing worse results!

24 Dec 2015 09:54:42
Good point Ed. I'd just like a bit of variation. As I do with most things in life. Every manager has his ways though.
