Can someone please tell me, why no profit? Thought share issue meant millions for ally to spend next season?!

Believable35 Unbelievable1

No profit cause it's all gone on consultancy fees. Directors remuneration and directors expenses. Etc. etc

Agree19 Disagree1

We are a 3rd div club with the same amount of backroom staff. From tea ladies tae groundsmen. Cg states we could be in profit next week if there was a cull. However all members of staff arw staying in place for us taking our place in the top flight. Next season Gers will be running at profit.

Agree4 Disagree22

@3; could you explain how? Will you be happy watching the seam teams for £100 more on your season book? because that's what he will do.

Agree17 Disagree1

The share issue doesn't count toward the profit/loss part of the company.

Agree3 Disagree3

Explain how they will run at a profit next year without a cull of staff etc? No Europe and still in a diddy league.

Agree12 Disagree1

He said we're "Trading" at a loss. The money made from the share issue is not trading income but capital introduced. Learn a little bit about accountancy please.

Big rumours that Barry Ferguson has agreed by word of mouth with McCoist, that he will join Rangers as a player/coach in the summer. Any truth in this?

Believable0 Unbelievable30

Great. No money made this year so add another wage to the enormous coaching staff needed for the third division!

Agree16 Disagree2

Really can't see it Barry has had his time at Rangers. We need to move forward not back

Agree15 Disagree3

Now i'm scaed, barry is coming back .... not.......shammy

Agree11 Disagree4

@2 We took a MASSIVE step back to div 3 so signing any spl standard player is a step forward. if we resigned Davis for example would you class that as a step back? i'm not saying signing Barry F would be a great signing but we can't take any steps further back so signing fergy or Boyd or miller or whoever can only be a step forward as our backs are to the cliff edge. green said the money to buy club was a loan people who put money up to buy a club are called investors and the money invested is not a loan so its obvious the original investors didn't put in any cash (green included) and instead borrowed the money from a 3rd party in the form of a loan 5.5 million for the club and all the other fees including running costs could top well over 12 million and over 20 million with interest and ill bet top dollar whoever put the cash up is holding the deeds as security

Does anybody think that the RSA and RST are a bunch of ar-- lickers ?

It seems to me that the minute they get their coupons in front of someone in charge, they seem to capitulate. The naming of Ibrox was seen to be unpopular and yet 10 minutes in front of Green and they are in agreement. This is not the only example, when they met with CW after he took over, they descibed him as "impressive", really?

Then there was the demanded meeting with Whyte following the tv programme and asked him when accounts would be submitted. I think something along the lines of "why are you a lying barsteward" would have been more to the point.

Personally I have no issue with re-naming the stadium, its Ibrox to me, simple, and if they get a few bucks, then good.

However I am beginning to think that we should always do the exact opposite of what RSA & RST think, because they have a great habit of getting it wrong.

Believable25 Unbelievable3

Renaming the stadium might be on the cards but supporters will still call it ibrox,,,,, good try why don't you just call the 3rd division the spl and everything will be ok,,,, now wouldn't that be a great idea, and while we are at it why not call chuckles by another name say charles blue ...instead of saying you are a liquidated club just say the club were sleeping lolololol

Agree17 Disagree1

Still the same as when David Edgar was in charge of the RST & giving it large for weeks about pulling up David Murray.

Gets invited to a meeting and comes out telling us Gers that David was the man and totally sooking up to him.

Some things never change.

Agree14 Disagree0

Why not put questionaires on the seats of the people that bought season tickets. Sureely they have as much right as anybody to be asked.

Agree11 Disagree1

3. They won't be asked because Charles Green wouldn't like their answer.

Cribari's agent in paper saying teams from Italian top leagues want him back, surely this guy must be smoking funny stuff? Has he watched his player in action this season?

Believable18 Unbelievable5

Rangers defence appalling and I fear for us at Tannadice. Only decent defender we have is Wallace while the rest are awful to say the least

Agree11 Disagree1

Agree Wallace is our only quality defender but I don't see much quality in United's defence either.

Agree1 Disagree8

@2 are you suggesting we have a chance against dundee utd? They will be right up for this game.

Tick tock, tick tock

Tuesday 29th January; the day the titles start to be removed.

By the time Saturday comes at Tannadice and the Arabs get ready to mock the Rangers's there could be mega tears!

Things now really bad...you have to pay 99p to watch CG's reveal it all interview on rangers tv today...

Believable11 Unbelievable17

If you already subscribe to Rangers TV you don't have to pay. If you don't and don't want to pay then you can read about it later on the website.

Reeks of the cheap and tawdry.

We Rangers supporters have followed the team brilliantly this season and shouldn't be charged a penny to see this. If it's a success expect more of the same.

Disgusted. And for those who disagree imagine Lawell would have gotten if he'd did the same across the city. He'd have been slagged off 100% on here!

Agree33 Disagree7

Why disagrre, when its FACT..greenes saying stadium renamed& no prophit this year& at nearer the end, he's plugging his book which will be ghost written by traynor. Lots fans ave ad err doubts, heas a f*kn fly man, the rangers fans hard earned cash is what he wants and is getting.why still did no one ask for proof of the title deed/??feel heading for bad timed in months too come

Agree31 Disagree10

Yet again Lawwell is brought into something which doesn't concern him. Oh, and no i'm not a Celtic Fan.

Firhill Season Ticket W96 - before you ask.

Agree21 Disagree2

Not surprised there is no profit this year no wonder Green is chasing The clubs that signed the pretend Rangers fans Lafferty, Naismith @ MacGregor for fees. Had they been real Rangers supporters we would have got something for them and would maybe have turned over a profit

Agree3 Disagree17

@ 5 if they where real supporters we would have got a fee ?? ok then... if green tells 5000 season ticket holders we have sold you to hearts for a big fee would you happily go and support hearts from now on and be a real supporter ??

DUNDEE UNITED: No signing news - although there will be a familiar face in the crowd at United's cup meeting with Rangers. United fans are planning to don Craig Whyte masks in a 'tribute' to the man who took the Ibrox side down. Thank God there will be no Rangers fans there to see him!

Believable9 Unbelievable11

Craig Whyte Masks for Rangers game
Got mines today.
Superb banter!

Rangers fans going crazy on :D

Bitter, twisted people!

Agree29 Disagree18

Rangers fans should boycott any product made by the company that is making these craig whyte masks,

Maestro08

Agree20 Disagree11

No doubt Rangers fans will demand that the identities of the masked men be made public. Ally will probably lead the charge on that one.

Agree25 Disagree9

@2, they also make union jacks, masks of lizzie windsor and her son, and BIG BLUE TOP HATS WTH THE NUMBER 10 on them (50,000 left going cheap)

Agree9 Disagree0

I've got my Corner Shop Jnr mask already on order for when they go down the toilet. :-)
