Great result for the sheepies tonite. derek mcinnes has turned that club around with no where near the budget we've got. get a taxi up there for him!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That's why he should be our next manager

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol1872 a taxi that's askin a bit much from these faceless investers they would as him if he could cadge a lift lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha tmwnn. I would give him a carry code doon the road!lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol1872 just shows our age if you asked a wane for a coal carry [our name for it ] they wouldn't have a clue what you meant that or the more labouring shouldery eh lol

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2014 22:06:37
bigcol / tmwnn we could tell him it was a sponsored coaxy from there to the managers office and just lock him in until he agrees to take the job.

Okay the plan needs a bit of work- Ally's pay-off, avoiding jail for the kidnap etc- but hey all plans have to start somewhere.

This could come together lads

Agree0 Disagree0

Tmwnn. lol haven't heard of any of those names for it. oh to be 20 again. or even have hair again!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear we also used the coaxy word but I just think that was slang for coal carry eh bigcol1872 I've still got a very good head of hair honestly if I don't get it cut every 6 weeks it starts to go curly I remembers when I was a wane all the women used to say lovly head of hair and I hated it cause it was curly ime now grey but I say better grey hair as nae hair if anyone younger comments on me going grey I say let's wait and see how much hair you have when your my age that usualy shuts them up quickly

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2014 00:22:08
tmwnn whit!!!! I do beg your pardon but coal carry was slang fir coaxy.
Royalty, VIPS and me used the correct parlance of coaxy ya wee bunch of hairy scruff

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear I remember having coaxy fights when the guy getting the coaxy would try getting opposite one of the other wans back eh usually after it yer ma would want to keep yae in for ruining yer god school jersey lol brilliant

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear/tmwnn. I have never heard of Coaxy or coal carry because I am obviously far younger than your two. what I should have said was piggy back. I think everyone has heard of that.
Nbear I like your plan. with a wee tinker here or there we might just be able to pull it off. even the dugs barkin in agreement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol if the dug is on board then the plan has a chance. tmwnn he is obviously a scheme boy and not from a high class tenemental property with inside cludgy like us yins

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol1872 mu god you must be a lot younger than me or maybe a big fancy house talk piggyback my christ the infants call it that I hope your parents or gardian knows youve been taking that dog of there's out for walkies lol lol

I honestly can't belive that we have missed out in Scott Allan and joined hibs ahead of us aswell I can't help feel this is going to bite us in the butt when he is playing well for hibs it happened with commons when we messed about and he joined septic our rivals and here we go again same story just different club and player, I thought he was a diehard gets fan? Which leads me to think he got fed up of getting messed about and waiting, they all need to go have a good look at thereselves and then do one and let some real proper Rangers men run the club because right now we are a laughing stock!!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Jul 2014 20:22:01
Think the fact is he's been told there no cash left to spend on wages for new players.
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

Sad day when hibs can out bid us

Agree0 Disagree0

Aye rf the faceless investers have ran away wae it again hope youve bought an extra sb ime hearing charlieboy fancies the bahamas this time of the year

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2014 22:46:19
As I've said on here before in the subject of signing players he's damned if he does and he's damned if he doesn't .
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

R. f. I know we have had a good spell of weather but take off your '' blue tinted, ally sun glasses''.
You must be realistic and balance what he gives us for his ridiculous income and benefits. Stop justifying what he does or doesn't and open your mind to the big picture.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe he was too young, lol!!

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2014 12:07:45
Thought the bigger picture was getting us back to premiership asap and taking it from there and remember he has brought in a better class of player on last years budget without spending a penny on transfer fee's.
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

R. f. , You are talking about a negative short term policy that, if successful, takes us no further forward than the next league up. What do we do then?
We are left with more debt, half a team that will be pensioned off and worst of all, there will be very few players left to take us forward. Maybe then, A. McC. will walk away leaving us up a couple of leagues, but still a proper shambles. There will be no potential investors and the 'spivs[ incl. A. McC. ] will walk away with their pockets bulging and the cupboard bare.
Our club, since liquidation, from top to bottom is structured all wrong, just like the house built upon sand.
The current owners seen an opportunity to make money, at any cost and A. McC suited them pefectly as a front, not as a manager I may add.
The door was opened by david murray to save his own bacon, so don't blame the taxman etc.
Sorry about the rant, so I'll sign off and take the dug a walk.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2014 14:52:21
Has anyone else not thought that maybe we didn't want the boy > maybe we never wanted him??

Try and look at the big picture boys, the guy has been all round the 2nd teir in England and nobody wanted him, why would Rangers?

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2014 14:54:26
As u all have said there is no cash so the facts are ally is doing what he was asked to do i.e gets us back asap so if he is sacked the potential is there to sue for unfair dismissal & there is no cash to cover this,2nd option golden handshake for ally again no cash to cover it ,even if he was to go a new manager would want his own players so again no cash to cover it so even if u don't agree with Allys methods we have to support the team .
ps I don't support the board I just believe given time and the right people running the club ally can be a success rant over away to feed the cat .
r.f

Agree0 Disagree0

Rf there won't ba money to buy players next season nae chance with the success part even if the barcalona players signed for us for a season by the time ally gave them all new positions they would still lose the league away for a sleep lol

Agree0 Disagree0

It is not about the signing of one player, it is about the number, cost and average age of our players. Take that, along with team selections and tactics and what you have is a total shambles.

Agree0 Disagree0

# 9. we ARE talking about rangers here, McCoist was the one that signed star striker Kevin Kyle when no one would touch him with a bargepole, hope that answers your question.

Agree0 Disagree0

# 10. is this the same ally that blew a 15 point lead and got us thrown out europe by by 2 pub teams when we had the right board in place, the man is a complete failure as a manager, GHTF ASAP, pleaseeeeeee

Agree0 Disagree0

Bllyb got to agree with you on that one mate how many has ally signed and we are still no further forward

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2014 23:57:03
spivs out /billyb/ tmwnn agree with your posts but hey not to worry. I have just read Ally now feels like a manager for the first time so everything will be peachy now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nbear what's happened to make him think he is now a manager have I missed something lol

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2014 12:18:50
tmwnn when I say read- I should have said I read the headlines it was too late for a Jackanory. So I can't help but would suggest nothing has changed- it was just Ally's belly rumbling again.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Jul 2014 16:35:41
Spivs out,. What in gods name are you talking about? how does that answer my question,? I NEVER asked a question I said Rangers weren't interested in the boy, read clearly and settle down

I remember back in the good old days Eric Caldow switched back and forward between left and right back, as did John Greig, and as did Danny McGrain for Celtic and Scotland, so what is stopping us giving Stevie Smith a run out at right back? its not unheard of and after all he IS a footballer to trade.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Jul 2014 20:34:33
I would guess it is an inability to use both the feet God gave him

Agree0 Disagree0

Steddy he is doing well half the team can't use either foot lol

games moved again for tv friday 12th september away to raith hibs home moved to monday 29th september

i see Scott Allan is going to Hibs. Well don't blame the lad, we first showed interest in May so just how long was he supposed to sit and wait.
Of course, just realised he is only 22!! 10 years too young for Ally.
We are not even a shadow of the REAL Rangers now

Believable0 Unbelievable0

For once I think macoist is right about allan he was out on loan and did nothing at west brom and what I am told he has a big tip for hiself we have enough prima donnas at ibrox

Agree0 Disagree0

A lot of posters seem to be raving about this boy as though he is some wonder kid, he has been out on loan to numerous clubs and then eventually freed by WBA. Got to ask what is it that we are going to miss out on that other clubs have formed the same opinion, we don't really need yet another player to overload an already stifled midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

To both 1) and 2) - appreciate your comments. I'm not sure he would have been what we want or need, my post mainly was to highlight the length of time it takes for us to reach decisions. I know cash is the problem, so why declare interest and build up hopes, when we really can't afford anyone.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2014 11:24:21
We probably could just about get back to the Premier division with our present squad but this would be dependent on two factors
1. Hearts and Hibs having squads inferior to our own

2. Rangers full backroom staff from McCoist downwards is routed out within the next two weeks and replaced by a management team of proven ability willing to give the fans the type of football we crave (dare I say it --- the type of football that our rivals across the city are playing??)

One final thought ----- ALL OF THESE POSTS regarding the way we play football, the remarks regarding AMcC and his management/training team, the voting polls we have had---- why can't these all be bundled together and delivered to the manager and his cohorts?? It is time for change before we sink to utter mediocrity ----

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Kerrymac I would be happy mate if we could reach mediocrity we're way below those dizzy heights.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't believe I've just seen Scott Allan is to sign a 2 year deal with HIBS!!

Agree0 Disagree0

The problem is dumb, dumber and even more dumber think they are doing the job regardless of performance. its us who have to change it. if only 10,000 turned up for the hearts game and a few more after that then they might start to take notice. I remember when the other mob demoed nearly every other weekend and we laughed and sniggered at them. well guys it's time to take a leaf out their book. but needless to say we will all turn up 50,000plus then come on here on the sat night and moan about the sham Logic performance. I'm away tae walk the dug!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bigcol1872 hod own am cummin wae yae lol

Agree0 Disagree0

I think might as well accept that the manager and staff will not be changed. They have met every target set so far and will be given the chance to cross the line back into the SPL. Only time this might change if there is a disastrous start to season and it looks like promotion may be running away. Then, something might be done.

Agree0 Disagree0

Weeman I still don't think it would matter we ain't got any money to pay ally off in fact that must be the only reason he is still here

Agree0 Disagree0

watching the Ottawa game - what garbage!! I know its pre season but there are definite problems facing us this season.
Boyd looks lost -
Moshni is looking for a fight-
Black doesn't realise its a team game -
Too many basic mistakes -
cant string 3 passes together

hmm

also saw the photo on RFC page of Larry, Curly and Mo or as I might call them beef, beefier and lard. They are not very impressive at all and need smartening up and losing a few pounds to set an example in the Rangers tradition.
I feel we are going to struggle to get out of the championship in one go!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Listen bill that's why they have a pre season to sharpen there skills. These teams are pub teams there playin give them a break by time season starts they will be jammin

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes brogie, that's if you've got skills and then you have to be organised to form a pattern of play that can be adjusted if things are not going to plan.
We are just an overpaid, dis-organised team that are going nowhere.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2014 20:37:37
@1. You don;t sharpen your skills against pub teams. You take on teams that will give you a decent workout. Ally wanted a string of pre-season victories. Derby will be very interesting

Agree0 Disagree0

Right so going out against a man City say or another big team n getting pumped is better than going out n getting some confidence up beating teams. And wit else is pre season for if not to sharpen up yer skills n fitness. A Cn see alloys logic here

Agree0 Disagree0

If you think that bill then why support thum if we're over paid n going nowhere gees a break it's pre season ffs fans like you depress the nappies off me I support ma club through the good and through the bad remember were lucky to still have a club tae support

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2014 08:35:39
@4. Dundee and Hearts both took on Man City and neither got 'pumped'. You can bet though, that they got a better work-out than RFC got against Brora or Buckie or Ventura County

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2014 08:43:00
@4. Oh, and how much 'confidence' do we get from the results we have had during pre-season? We have not exactly been setting the heather alight. Beating Fulham was decent but it was at Murray Park and probably not a great deal more than a bounce game. Again, Derby will be the test for what we have got from pre-season (and that in itself tells a story).

Agree0 Disagree0

Brogie82 you keep yir nappies on because I think you will need them this season with yir wee pal Ally in charge
