Believe it’s not until August? Missing a real trick here as kids finish schools this week and holidays begin and I would be buying my boy a new strip for going on holiday. Not saying I won’t be buying it later but the strips should be on sale now!

Yately1,its all to do with the sports direct deal, not expiring until the 31st of july mate. I posted on here about a month ago now, that my understanding of it is, the new hummel home top, will be available for us supporters to buy around mid august, the away kit september and the 3rd kit october!

I fully understand we should honour the sports direct contact but surely we, the fans, supporters should be given a heads up regarding the sale of the new strips. Give us a little respect.

Supercooper if the sports direct deal is holding this up why mid August before we can buy if the deal runs out 31st July why not the 1st August could you ask your source why this is

The new strips will be released when they can be released, fans will know in plenty of time when the release date will be. If the club could tell us just now when they will be released then I'm sure they would. Just remember we don't have to be kept in the know about absolutely everything that's happening at the club. When we need to know we will know. 👍

ARE WE A SELLING CLUB? It is annoying to see the amount of money our club loses out on getting rid of players who are not good enough. The club in my view hide this . one example is MOH. Paid around half a Mill for him
What did we get from Melbourne? Nobody has said.
We paid 250k roughly for Windass and for me any offers north of 1.5 million we should grab it. Its good business and windass won't be in starting 11. We as a club need to be cuter in thd way we do our business. We can't keep heammoraging money the way we have

i think our recruitment jas been the issue last few years and i mean managers and players

we can’t have players like herrera pena MoH and halliday at our club regardless what we paid or what offers we get as they are not good enough in my opinion and that's that

i think club is now being run properly off park and we are trying to build and prudence dictates if crazy offers come in for morelos wes windass tav we will take the money as all clubs are selling clubs if offer is right

but 1.5 for windass ain’t going to happen. we have to trust board and manager to put a value on a player and if he can help us build back to to top he stays

but if someone bids funny money he goes - sorry hunty that’s just a reality and i'm ok with that

1.5 million is nowhere near enough for josh in todays market this is a big season for him if he can build on his 17 goals he got last season then he will be a big asset to us let's see how he does under stevie gs stewardship this season.

I think if an offer of 3-4 million comes in windass he will be sold. He has potential and could possibly blossom under Gerrard but I would personally selll him for that it’s good business and you could get a replacement for that money.

Yes we are a selling club, windass is worth more than 1.5 mil no doubt about it. The reason why we are letting players go cheaper if you like is because 1) we paid way over the top for them to begin with and no club will give us what we paid. Pena herrera cardoso gardner are all examples of this. 2) these players are earning a wage at us that they could not get else where. In order to create funds for gerrard we accept lower offers to get this dross off the wage bill and clean up the mess from previous managers. In fairness these lower offers represent a truer value of the player, as we all know when rangers go for a player the price goes up. Anyway there is not a hope in hell that we will recoup anywhere near the 5mil approx that we paid for herrera pena. Imagine what gerrard could do with another 5mil. Gerrard is not daft, knows the game and players value so the days of clubs ripping us off for their players are over. A player would cause a fuss at his club if he knew that gerrard and the famous wanted him👍

First post said windass won't be in starting 11. How do you know that. None of us know . I'm not a huge fan of windass because he dissapears but that could be lack of fitness which is getting knocked out of him as we speak. Time will tell .

Time will tell cf bear but I don't think windass will be a starter either. I think better players will be signed in the coming weeks. If we get a bid around the 3.5 4mil mark then windass will be away. Gerrard would use that kind of money wisely. Same with tav by the way, I think that's why flanagan was bought. The club are anticipating bids for tav and again anything around the 3.5 4 mil mark and tav will be away. Just my opinion.

great posts coldo, yes we are a selling club, simple reason we buy with potential to sell on. we can't compete with the money here in england until that's addressed that's how we operate. windass is a luxury we can't afford, i'd snatch your hand at 3mil plus. get rid of dross not performing sitting in stands stealing a wage, replace with better standard of player, we still need another cb, tough tackling centre mid, striker. i'd take skirtel, jedineck, origi, ings, . london jock
