teams like basel, Olympiakos still attracted good quality player there teams are much stronger that rangers or celtic have been for years. This should be the route we look at not going back the way look at how much Belgium football has come on. These team produce top class players and play football the right way. We should look at bringing top European youth along with our own and developing them together

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Boab I like the Belgian model, it's producing great results but this is something the Belgian FA done at grassroots rather than the clubs.

Greek clubs have the best fans in the world and biggest YouTube 'gate 7 olympiakos' it will blow you away! I'm guessing that along with the weather is why players would go there. Who would want to come to Scotland to play against caley thistle lol

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - not sure they do have the best fans in the world, fan violence is appalling in Greece mate. Plus there are a lot of issues with players not being paid etc.}

Don't think you can say any team has the best fans in the world except maybe hibs lol. Every team has numptees that support them! Although used to love teams like Stuttgart coming to ibrox full away support acting simultaneously was always more entertaining than the match.

Has "Costly" not put paid to this pre occupation with ex players? once BF has proven himself elsewhere maybe but not before, I don't want to end up hating another legend like I do McCoist.

I agree, pretty much against jobs for the boys, but having said that would love to see Neil Mccann involved somewhere he seems to have a wealth of knowledge.

Personally I would have Warburton and Cathro as new age team with McCall kept on as youth development coach

More backtracking from mr king? Full transparency of the events was promised now its a case of only the ones he considers to be responsible. His £20m loss seems to come up a lot and as for dragging his position with SDM back into the spotlight?

I have repeatedly posted good luck messages to your club in its efforts to get into the top league and don't see motherwell stopping you now. I do however have doubts re DK and hope this post isn't met with ridicule as I have said before I am concerned for scottish football in general.

At this time, I don't think full transparency is possible, but there are certain features that could be made clearer. e.g. are the title deeds of Ibrox under the full control of the current board?
I have had my doubts about DK, but he is the choice of the majority of our support and must get our full backing in his efforts to steady the ship. Doubting his every move is not the way to go forward, we must give him some scope and assist where we can.
Personally, I think his exposure of murray is long overdue and, maybe through time, our support will see dm for the person he is.
I am sure DK will make some sort of statement of intent, after the Motherwell games and I think that is the correct way to proceed. Then, we can make up our minds about our intentions on buying shares, season tickets etc. As far as 'others' that give their take on OUR team then, I for one, read it and give it little consideration.

Lol 'others' as you put it have just as much right to an opinion regardless of whether that opinion raises difficult questions.

I accept the majority want DK in place but surely there must be further concern after his claims re financial standing of your club re 5m debt when its well known that 3 bears are owed 3m; as well as DKs 1.5m loan.

Its claims like this that causing comparison to GC but if gers fans are happy to sit back to and see then that's fine. However please don't come back with hindsight and start accusing 'others' of not saying or doing anything like some did with SDM, CW, GC and MA.

Good luck with the Motherwell games

As I said 'others' are well entitled to their opinion but we are aware of the problems associated with our club and will discuss it as we see fit, rightly or wrongly. As far as the hindsight comment is concerned, I don't recall any of our supporters complaining about 'others' opinions, apart from wondering why they are so 'knowledgeable' and us so sheep-like.

It is worrying that the 20mill is being mentioned quite frequently, without prompting from anyone.I just wish one of these reporters would prompt an answer to the deeds question. It may be a pre-requisite to any interview that no mention is made of them, but it must be tackled.ps good post billy.

am no defending murray hear but why is king in the paper stating the obvious about Murray he should just get on with the rebuilding of our club this is old news he is the chairman so get on way raising the finance that they said they had to move club forward instead of highlighting his previous loss of 20 mill

another thing that is worrying is that he said we would buy prem standard players
we already have prem standard players does that mean most of these will be staying now

"another thing that is worrying is that he said we would buy prem standard players we already have prem standard players does that mean most of these will be staying now"

how the flip did you get that from that? he has stated he wants to purchase premier league standard of players. therefore getting rid of the dead wood and bringing in players that are capable of playing to a high standard in the top flight.

24 May 2015 13:30:58
we already have prem standard players like Wallace bell black shields miller Clark you get the drift the whole squad is prem quality so is this the type of players king feels are going to get us in the top six if we get up folk are expecting a clear out at rangers but I do not think we will get that big a clear out that people think I can see a good few players remaining apart from players guaranteed 2 leave like boyd jig black moshni simosen other players that should be freed foster smith hutton clark shields Robinson crawford templeton daly that is how you remove dead wood from our club but I can see a lot of these players staying
