Anyone know how the meeting with Murray and McColl went or was anything of any interest spoken about!

It seems nobody is going into detail other than to say it went well

It's all very well the meeting going well but what are the realistic chances of these men getting onto the board? I doubt very much that the Easdales r just going to rollover and allow them on the board.

It just my thoughts don't know anything for sure but I don't think that king is going to invest if he is just working with the current board. I think as a condition to his investment he will want the murray group on the board.

Dave king will look after rangers its only a matter of time to he takes over

Read the minutes of the meeting and most of it is positive we just need to get the board in place that is waiting in the wings and we can move on.
They also reckon there will be no Admin 2 which most of us have been worried about.

{Ed039's Note - Not yet but I have been at work and havent had time to catch up, I will be looking soon and will report back what I find)
As McCoist isn't going anywhere anytime soon, I don't see the point in talking about a replacement. i'd love to see Butcher back at rangers one day once we return to the top flight

Agree with post 2 McCoist isn't going to be sacked even if we lose against Stenhousemuir. At the moment he is bullet proof and I doubt McColl and Murray if they gain control will get rid of him either. The sad thing is that he is in a job not down to his coaching skills but rather peoples perception of what he did during the admin process

Don't think he would touch rangers, he can manager at a higher level than what we are currently playing at.
Agree0

Yes would be a great manager for Rangers, but are we able to match his ambition yet. ie giving him money to get players he would want, don't think we are yet, financial constraints will be on for a few seasons yet
saying that if we are going to spend i, d rather ian holloway than Ally

I'm sorry I thought we had a manager!

must agree ally isn't the best manager out there would rather a manager that takes risks and gives more boys a chance in the side e.g young kyle and scott but atm we have ally and he's not doing a bad job he's doing exactly what he's sent out to do and that is to get rangers back to the top so far this season unbeatin so am 100% behind him in ally we
trust W. A. T. P

Les the next rangers manager won't be on 825,000 a year, I'd be surprised if any rangers manager in the future will be getting anywhere near that again.
Agree0

Anyone except Ally would be nice. Preferably somebody with a bit of tactical nous and who hasn't got the cheek to pocket over £800k a season.
Agree0
Disagree0
Why would we want Ian Holloway or why would he want to manage us there is no job for him we have a manager and like it or not he is doing just fine right now and will take us back to the top league if he is not doing it then we can look at it but until then give him a break Ian Holloway give us peace

Do u honestly think Ally is the right choice longterm? I agree he will bring us back to the top league but only because he has a massive advantage over the teams. He won't have the same massive advantage in the top league and will be found out. I honestly believe that rangers under him will struggle to even make a European place. Only then will fans realise how poor a manager he really is
