Bluenoses. Here's a possible scenarion for you all to ponder from a supporter of the greatest team in the world - Alloa Athletic FC.

I've read with great interest the debate about the history of your club, or goodwill as it was called when it was sold. What happens if, as many of you state on here, another administration event happens and leads to liquidation? What happens to the so called 'goodwill'? Now before many of you say administration or possibly liquidation will never happen remember that many said that last time around. Does that mean that anyone can buy the 'goodwill' of the club? Can I buy it and tag it onto the mighty Wasps? I know, many of you are probably laughing but there's a serious point here. How many of you would be happy for it to be passed on to a new company if that does happen? If it was intact then why was it sold as a seperate entity in the first place? The point I'm trying to make is how diluted does the integrity of Rangers have to become before many of you refuse to recognise them? If it is the case that it can be sold and that many of you are happy for that to happen then here's a possible way forward.

1. Unite as a support and starve the club of money like many of you say you will.

2. Let the club liquidate again and set up a new team.

3. Buy the good will and continue. It's been done before so it shouldn't matter.

The only hanging point would be Murray Park, Ibrox and the Albion Car Park, 3 assets which are shrouded in mystery probably because Craig Whyte and Charles Green have some interest in it. These assets are only really worth money if there is a football team to use them as was discussed many times last year. Sooner or later the 'owners', whoever they are, will sell up as they will become tired of upkeeping assets that don't get used. By this time the fans will have generated backers to purchase them. Put in place an agreement that means Rangers get them back and hey presto! Problem sorted.

I know it sounds like a crazy idea but not near as crazy as some of the tripe that has been going on over the last few years.

Being an Alloa fan, for a very very long time I must add, I had a similar view 20 years ago when I saw what was happening to Celtic. I bought shares in them at the time, a considerable amount, as I believed there was a profit to be made. And it did. I then passed the shares on to my son who has them to this day. I thought about this when the Rangers IPO was issued last year but saw too many pitfalls in the plan to convince me to invest. It was classic short term money making and I'm afraid to say I was proved right. I could see another disaster coming and maybe that was because I wasn't a supporter of the club. I had no intention of uying for a quick buck either. I wanted to invest in a big club and sell on at a time when Rangers were secure. Sadly I don't think that will happen for a long, long time. Rangers are still a very toxic investment. And they will still be if the club continues to do business the way they have so far.

Would hopefully onlly be admin as best route nothing drastic similar to Dundee doing it twice. We get point deduction start again with no debt and this time hopefully be fan owned.
Only concern as you say would be who has the rights to Ibrox etc? no that Dundee don't own their ground and currnelty lease it back from a UTD director for a minimium amount.
As for the share issue Easdale etc would end up with nothing same as Bluepitch etc. no big deal for us fans in fact blody great result if that happened. let's boycott,, and see them squirm

Agree0 Disagree0

@op some good points you make but regardless of how many company's come or go all the footballing history will always belong to rangers the football club its not a company that wins trophys its a football club so regardless of your goodwill theory but it will always be rangers history the whole 140 years and counting

Agree0 Disagree0

Alloa fan - tell me how you made a profit on Celtic shares if you never sold them and passed them to your son!
You also say you never bought rangers shares as you didn't want to make a quick profit ( you could have made very quick buck @ 25 % return)

As the saying goes, I smell s#ite

Just so you know trfc ltd bought the assets of rfc2012, one of those assets was a professional football club called Rangers fc, in fact many football clubs have been operated by different companies at one time or another in their history, some seem to get confused because the operating company has the words football club in its title, but to answer your question, no, you can't buy rangers and tag them onto the wasps

@ Ally. so once again the plan is to go into admin to clear the debts (i. e. don't pay the full amount owed to debtors again. Let's continue to run up debt then cheat those owed) and then complain about everybody hating the club and it's a conspiracy to destroy the rangers. Yes, that's a great way to attract serious investment. So sad that any true fan would even consider this route again.

Anything wrong with my posts, mate? Even when logged in, they don't appear, like the one yesterday agreeing with George and suggesting further reading. Is it problem my end? I know I am not a supporter but I do have shares and it is a banter site.

MERRY XMAS to all true rangers supporters!

Anyway now that's over and done with for another year! Let's get back to the matters at hand.

When will graham Wallace start to engage with the fans, and will he make any finding public without toxic jack sticking his oar in.

Their are still numerous things that need clarified even before this so called 120 day consultation is completed.

When will graham Wallace and the board rectify the conflict of interest that Stockbridge has in respect to his directorships of several rangers contracts,

He is the sole director of "GARRION SECURITY" and this company is alleged to be taken in house to save money? This is very confusing as the last company was G4S and then all of a sudden Chico and Stockbridge decided to start up several sub companies to take even more cash out of rangers, so the question is mr Wallace and the current board how much does Stockbridge gain from supplying security and match day officials to rangers? And are the board happy for this to continue with this so called accountant taking even more money from the company! Their is also the rangers media platform he is a director for another conflict of interest and not to mention a controlling interest in rangers sports contract with mike Ashley and a few other nominees?

When will MR Wallace show the rangers fans clarity, transparency and honesty? Will he remove toxic jack from his position? Why do rangers have a PR department? Then allow toxic to smear everything he sees or reads? Mr Wallace over to you and we will be watching very closely to see if you are the real deal or just another puppet, how many days left?

RR - what has gone on previously is in the past however much we disliked it but considering that Garrion is 100% owned by RIFC, then I am sure that the new board will be looking closely at the activities of this company and we should soon see Wallace, Somers and Crighton become directors, just as they have recently done with The Rangers Football Club Ltd

In theory it makes sense to set up your own security company rather than use outside contractors, if it saves money, (we still have to see if that has been the case to date) if it is not saving us money, or it is just another vehicle for slipping money out of the club as you think it is, then it should be shutdown as part of the costcutting exercise and the 120 day assessment

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 are GARRION security services ltd not a standalone company? It only has one director guess who (Stockbridge) so how does RIFC own 100% of it without having board members as directors? Apart from Stockbridge, bearing in mind he and green set this up earlier in the year with the rest of the companies? Now if the sleasdales and maybe Wallace etc where on the board at GARRION I could see your point, maybe I am missing something after all I am no accountant! Still looks like another money trap for Chico and Stockbridge?

Agree0 Disagree0

Therealranger, if you go back to the admission document which is still on the website
Part XIII section 8. 2 clearly states that garrison is a 100% owned subsidiary of RIFC

This company previously had two board members as directors until green was terminated

JG

Agree0 Disagree0

Only way the fans will ever see transparency is if an outside company with NO ties is brought in to audit and assess the current board and business. will never happen

Agree0 Disagree0

Wee man, we could bring in the Dalai Lama, Archbishop of Canterbury and the pope and some would still believe they were linked to Murray, whyte and green
