Alright gers fans, let's cam down we have been to hell and back, we are back in spl still in 3rd spot, first season back, although we all want to be nearer celtic, we need to calm it a little bit, we have a chance of playing European football next season, we will get there that is a fact.

Just reading tommy wrights comments there although he says there has been no approach from rangers he would be willing to talk to them if they approached him bit strange considering we play them in a few days time don't yous think a mean u wouldn't be happy with your manager saying that before u played the team could be a wee clue he's going to be next manager could be wrong though

See Naz, for me DK and the board are trying to get the next appointment right rather than rushing into something just because some "fans" are clamouring for it.

For me I think DK wants to ensure that he appoints someone who wants the job and can actually do it as well as our club deserves. all within a sensible budget with tough spending limits that are caused both by our poor finances as well as the minimal income available in the Scottish game.

You will remember that it was Warburtons agent who started all of this by trying to negotiate an exit for his clients. Whether they resigned or not, it was made clear that they wanted to move on.

Not a chance would we have lost those 2 games. I just don't understand the board not having someone lined up to replace him even on temporary basis. King said he didn't think mw was totally committed to rangers. Well surely they should have had a plan in place.

think everyone needs to remember it's not dave king and this boards fault where we are just now. they want the club to be successful as much as we do otherwise what's the point them being there?

there obviously trying to get the right management team in place and looking at ways to get investors to invest in a club who have being in turmoil and mismanaged for years
this current squad apart from miller are absolute rubbish and I'm sure warburton line the pockets of his daughters company well

if Barry ferguson comes give the lad a chance even if it's just to end of season he doesn't need to come but if so chooses we real rangers fans will be behind him and whatever happens now till end of season he should not be judged only full support and a big thanks for trying to come in and help this sorry lot end in decent fashion

I keep reading the board have to hurry and appoint a manager, then the next person says it had got to be the right person. it is clear the board will have to take time to interview all interested to get it right then just a hurried appointment. I am sure they have to look at whether the manager comes comes in the summer . if that is so then then need to agree an interim manager. then there is also the appointment of a DOF. to do this in 2-3 weeks would be some doing.
Going back to Warburton saying he did not resign - I would like to know if anyone has heard the agent (who is representing Warburton) saying anything to defend Warburton?

It's all fine and well taking time to find the right manager but the fans need to be kept in the loop and informed on proceedings. If we're looking at someone in the summer with an intrim in the meantime then tell the fans that's what's happening.

Probably financial reasons Fd. Murty been thrown in at the deep end and with no experience at that level and has to deal with the underperforming squad that we have at present. Would be too arrogant of him to change style too much although I think a change and a few youths thrown in wouldn't be a bad thing however wouldn't necessarily improve us greatly. It's an embarrassing situation at the moment. About as bad as I can remember.

So we are now 6 points behind Aberdeen who have a game in hand on Monday night. Hearts can go 2 points behind us if they win. What I'm getting at is unless the board take action ASAP we will be doing well to finish top 6 this just isn't good enough.

Murty is a lamb to the slaughter the players (the majority) aren't good enough and enough is enough. Robertson seems to be pulling the strings in Glasgow in Kings continued absence and we as fans need a bit of clarity and answers now.

Settle down, durrant will never be the answer.
If you can remember the 2nd half performance of England against Iceland that is exactly where the players are at the moment, confused on tactics, they don't know who will be taking over, it's just a complete shambles and it requires someone to come in and bring back a bit of organisation.
We do not have the money to do what some fans are calling for, we need to stay calm continue to support and hope the next appointment is the right one. There is no guaranteed success no matter who ever gets the job, FDB got sacked at his last club, would he be the master stroke no one knows . It's tough too watch at the moment but we need to keep supporting our football club

We seriously need the next manager to work out we can't afford another warburton another rebuild has to work if not we will be in serious bother for years to come its going to be hard for the next manager to come in a say it will take time to rebuild this is the 6 th year of all this rebuilding from when we got relegated and the fans can't and won't take much more this team is a disgrace worst ave ever seen a can't think of anyone but foderingham whos had atleast 2 good games in a row we need serious investing in this squad and now next seasons managers needs to be hired now so he can identify players for next season get the ball rolling so we ain't rushing to get players in at the last minute a onow we can sign anyone the now but get his list into the board and get working on it straight away

@scott87 - what rebuilding did Super Ally do? The current issues all stem from that time when we brought in overpaid numpties. The new manager is the most important signing in years. I will gladly take a couple of years of hurt as long as there is improvement on and off the park. We as fans need to stop obsessing about there ambition for 10 in a row and get our own house in order first.

Buying people like boyd and law and Templeton (I could go on) to win the bottom 2 leagues in Scotland was a joke and the money mccoist was on was a bigger joke.

I used to say a lot of teams tend to sit in and make it hard for us to break them down and sort of make that a defence for are players at times and I used to think if a team would just open up that's when are system could work if they open up we should carve them wide open but last night proved to me that that never even made any difference as Inverness were open and we were going toe to toe with them for most of the game and they were better then us. For us same old story get around the box and no end product no final ball but yet every time they broke they looked as if they could score. This bunch of players are just not good enough at all.

Unfortunately I was very wrong to think that, I don't even see how the team can regress so far in such a short space of time?

We looked a fit, hungry team last season with a point to prove and now we look like second rate journey men who struggle with the length of a pitch.

Still in shock at how bad we r playin. But last nyt eas the worst ave seen for a long time. couldn't even get the basics right n waitin on the ball comin to them instead of movin forward. Halliday was a man short as usual but the whole team is a shambles the now. doesn't matter who we get in this season is a write off altogether we will b lucky to fight for top 6 place at this rate. we need an experienced manager in place now if we have any hopes of stopping this slide. even if it's only till end of season we need someone in now and they have to be experienced be it davies mcleish or even a walter.

I personally don't think this is the right time to bring in a foreign manager like de boer or jol - we need someone who a) understands scottish football and b) the demands of managing a big club with the expectations we have as too many people under estimate both these factors to their cost.

changes needed all through the team but first of all we must defend as a team and stop conceding goals as that puts even more pressure on mis-firing strikers.

i wld bin 4-3-3 and get defenders defending 1st and foremost. i'd drop tav for hodson sit in a bit more play 1 striker (miller) and flood the midfield to help us get control of games maybe harry in beside hyndman and holt to give us bit more dig and energy.

i wldnt start garner or toral again waste of a jersey for me

Murty stands on the side line like a tailors dummy he is clueless, and it's not his fault as our board threw him in at the deep end and seem happy to watch him drown, the guy is way out of his depth. I have no sympathy for Murty but people need to remember he was brought in to replicate what Warburton was doing with the first team in the U20s. He has as much clue as Warburton did. All you have to do is listen to him after games. I bet his assistance is from Warburton and that's why it's being kept quiet.

Who ever is helping him with the coaching is a joke! He starts with Kiernan and the guy loses us the game, his tactics are on a par with Warburton! We are up against two rookie centre backs that Garner might actually have outmuscled and he brings him on with 18 seconds to go. Murray should be allowed to go back to what he does best and we should bring in a quality manager and find him a archest of $1m - $20m. As was said on BT Sport last night if the £18m has been spent on Ground improvements most fans would prefer that it had been spent on players. If it was spent on players then Warburton should be shot!

How wax Kiernan to blame? It was that clown Wilson last night as it was against Dundee. Two lazy tackles in two games resulted in two penalties. Yet again he lost his man on the build up to the second goal last night then threw a lazy leg out to deflect the ball to their striker. If Kiernan tackles the guy he gives away a penalty. No one saw how the lad could hook in that shot so big Kiernan would've got slaughtered if he put in a challenge which resulted in another penalty.

First 15 minutes I thought right the boys have upped the tempo here and trying to prove a point from last week but we died of death AGAIN. I would agree and say we are getting short changed big time. Any work Warburton and King has done to our club seems to be minuscule. I'm watching our games dreading result and if we do win we're hanging on. Praying for investment 🙏.
