Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

A Mcc has tactical deficiencies as his statement about scouting system would back up. He has done what has been asked of him and remember contract agreements are not done by him. Back the team, back the manager, and get us back to the top. If the principle backed by true rangers (Sandy Jardine and Walter Smith) was good enough for them it is surely good enough for us

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Thing is stu, McCoist picks the team and chooses transfer targets, who Imo have hopeless, over priced and far too old, he has no tactical awareness whatsoever.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with all your points wee cubby unfortunately Mccoist is going nowhere, he has stated that this is the first time in his tenure he's been able to focus purely on the footballing side of Rangers affairs, and he actually feels like a manager, well Ally you have no excuses now prove yourself and prove me wrong take us back to the top playing good football if not maybe time to walk away

Agree0 Disagree0

This isn't a banter page it's a slag everything about rangers page. This comment is one of the only ones that's not been negative. This is where we are through no fault of the support or manager. The tests have still to come and as the team and hopefully we pass them that's to be seen if we can then we can see where we are at. Of course mistakes been made but if everything was right and no improvement can be made then it's job done and that will never be the case. The managers seen us through the worst times as a club all in his first season and beyond. Give the guy a break

Agree0 Disagree0

@3 you could maybe start your own site with super Ally comments only. The majority of us are probably still suffering from shock or after shock of what's happened to the club. Some agree with you that we should ignore the quality of football that we pay to watch and just be glad we are still in existence. That is a point of view that some of us don't share. It's called democracy and differing opinions. And I agree I wish there was more banter because laughter can help when you are in pain and suffering. We need more of Naz's post congratulating Samaras on winning the Eurovision contest- a classic moment on here.
But censorship to positive posts only would probably give the ED problems.
Also not sure I picked up the banter in your post?

Agree0 Disagree0

@3. I have to agree with Nbear. this is a forum about rangers. if you are happy with where we are and what we are producing then fire in. I on the other hand am not. I have seen some bad rangers teams in the past but the dross I've watched the last two years surpasses them. I don't go for the "at least we are here"excuse. point is we are. we have spent over 70 million I two years albeit no on the playing side but we have spent. so if your not happy with what you are reading then don't log on. remember you are the minority with your views. the overwhelming majority agree that we have a poor manager, poor team, poor performances and poor business sense. sorry but that's mine and the dugs view!

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - £70m in 2 years?)

Ed mistype should have been 30 million. I thought the article said 33 million a year when it said two years.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - No worries mate, I know its all relevant but the figures were hugely different)

ED 039 that is the figure I remember from the accounts which includes the £22-£23million raised in the IPO circa £4 million of which went to the costs of the IPO (which is code for into some manky financier's account)
But it doesn't include the £1.5million loans to see us through to the end of last season. So yes Bigcol is correct and isn't exaggerating -must be the dug's post

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed039's Note - Nbear - £70m is definately wrong)

Fair enuf lads. My point possibly not well put was not that I think everything is rosy at all and I agree with some points given however the circumstances are some we have never known and hopefully never know again and felt he possibly deserves a bit of slack if he totally fails then he will deserve to go. In my personal opinion I would give him his chances to do wot the plan was. If I was being negative about the situation I'd say I possibly reckon he needs a new coach to freshen things up

Ed all reasonable men would agree with you than spending £70million in 2 years for a football club in our position is ludicrous and impossible but remember these numbers
Turnover 1 year £19million (x 2 for 2 years= £38million)
Loss year 1 £14million (that is spent more than you earned)
IPO spent after costs £17.5 million

Now if you total these up it should come to £69.5million add to that £400k as I think the loss was actually £14.4 million in the first year you have the unbelievable shambles of £70million spent in 2 years plus the loans of £1.5 million

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed039. yes I read the article again and the spend was 33 million since 2012. that includes iPo, wages etc. I am taking this as read. who flipping knows. oh aye a forgot the crunchier fur the dug!lol

Agree0 Disagree0

30 million or 70 million, doesn't really matter as far as I'm concerned. For the last two seasons we have been playing teams with budgets in the thousands, not the millions and most of them have given us a run for our money up till the last 20 minutes of the game when fitness became an issue. I'm fairly sure that given that scenario, most of the guys on here could have been the manager and won promotion the last two seasons. And by the way, "ally feels like a manager now", well when I'm sitting playing my guitar I feel like Eric Clapton but it doesn't mean I am!

Bigcol if it was £30million spent we would be in good shape £8million in bank plus all of the IPO money left so we would have £25million plus in bank. That should be the case but isn't get the dug back on here- at least we listen to him

Agree0 Disagree0

Gc. In simple language----- A. Mc. C is a plonker. Forget about losses and look at his plunder.

"Rangers in crisis- fans fury as Ibrox chief executive Graham Wallace admits club have blown a staggering £67million in 18months to beat shoestring opponents" Daily Record 26th April 2014

"Police probe launched after Rangers Chief Executive Graham Wallace is accused of misleading shareholders over the clubs finances" 27th April Glasgow Herald

"Missing £70million- blame laid on Charles Green and Mather"- 26th April Glasgow Herald

Do your selves a favour google rangers spend £70 million in two years and all your sources come up- most around about the time of the announcement that the club were getting secured loans from Laxey and Easdale of £1.5million to see out the season.

Or who cares it's only another £40million!

can someone at Ibrox pleas arrange for our player stats listings to be updated. the "new" signings are missing and Scott Gallacher is still there??
Surely the point of a club website is for it to keep us UP TO DATE

scott allan seemed to be going from one club to another on loan, if he was that good would that be happening, and is that the kind of player we want or need at the club!!

Yeah if we all think about it if he was that good would he not of been signed by derby after his trial? Would he not have been somewhere other than championship level, Lewis mcleod is our best midfielder and tbh we need someone strong with him like law or black, black is rubbish mind you but I think we have signed everyone we wanted and have 4 spl level players now.

Agree0 Disagree0

We'll see how good Allan is in the coming months and maybe regret, maybe not.

The good news - after all, we deserve some - is Lewis McLeod's comeback. We've got some good creative midfielders and I include Templeton, Aird and McKay. I hope McCoist doesn't resort to playing Black and McCulloch in the midfield at the same time. Play with flair.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree give McLeod his wish and play him in central midfield with Law. Then MacKay wide right and Templeton on the left.

I expect Ally to find a place for McCulloch and Black though with MacKay and Templeton being the two to miss out and McLeod made to play out wide left to accommodate the two older guys.
