Its Division 2 we need to win m8 not the champions league, win the 2nd then win 1st then we can think better players,
Agree0

How can you say Foster didn't make it we couldn't afford his transfer he did a good job for us I welcome him back great engine will get up and down what do you want moan moan moan
Agree0
Disagree0
And how much money is going to be required to bring in players capable of winning the top division once there. Should be using these years in lower leauges to build a team
Agree0
Disagree0
If i'm not mistaken I believe both smith and forster won the spl with Rangers > greast signings for were we are now, get a grip
Agree0

Everybody on here seem to be leave Ian black out but a blind man can see he's allys blue eyed boy.
Believable0
Unbelievable0
Give Ian Black a break it was a team of 11 players on the park last season, when he played for hearts in his last season he was captain of hearts and was up for player of the year so he doesn't become a bad player over night. playing for Rangers is far harder than playing for hearts give the guy a break he will be better this season. the guys a Rangers player so support him he was good enough to sign for us when all the super stars left the club in the lurch so cut the guy a bit of slack ffs.
Agree0
Disagree0
The guys a thug but was bullied by 3rd division players who played him at his own game and he spit the dummy out.
Agree0
Disagree0
Get behind all the players. Black always wanted the ball and last season he was playing in a mainly inexperienced team.
Agree0
Disagree0
I tried very hard to give Ian Black a break last season, but when he was in the team we just did'nt play & to get the amount of bookings & suspensions he got, it just isn't good enough! personally, I would pay him off, we do not need 3 holding midfielder in the 2nd div unless Ally isn't going to, or is incapable of changing his ah'em "tactics".

So Rangers employed an agent to punt Jelavic? Why did they say they did not at the time? Did the management know this when they said they were hopeful of keeping him?
Believable0
Unbelievable0
Who knows whether they knew or not mate. But nothing really strange about a manager wanting to keep one of his best players. I believed Jelavic at the time when he said he wanted to stay but Rangers forced him out. That also was hardly surprising. Whyte had no money to keep us going and the rest is history. All these documents do is show how ruthless and mercenary Whyte, Ali Russell, and the rest of the "Ant-hill mob" were. Opinion is divided, regarding SDM and CW. Who really chased Bill Murray away? The fans got the blame of that one. Who overhyped the BTC? Who released the confidential information to and from HMRC? I really don't care anymore, Rangers are still here, and that's all i'm interested in.

@1/ I suggest you have a look at the charlotte fakes stuff mate. Jelavic refused to play, ally told whyte to get rid of him. As more comes out whyte looks like he has been conned by Green. on all the tapes whyte consistently says he wants the club to move forward. He never mentions liquidation.
Agree0
Disagree0
The answer to this is very straight forward, the people running Rangers then and now are liars and conmen, simples.
Agree0
Disagree0
Well all i'm getting from the CF's stuff mate is that CW is a good guy who only wanted the best for RFC. Aye that'll be shining!
If you believe Cha {which I don't} it's everybody elses fault bar poor wee Craigy boy.
I'm even seeing stuf on here that it's all CG's fault.
Who exactly do you think is supplying this info? I'd say on balance Monaco would have been the last place i'd have gone to after shafting CW. A bit strange that, unless you were working for him and went to pick up your wages.
Be careful what you read and accept as the real story. We've seen plenty evidence of documents ffrom Cha showing how CW and Ali Russell etc, tried to influence the press and some Rangers sites.
Who knows it may well be happening on here.
I would suggest that CG has had his payday, CW has more to lose, and should be an increasingly desperate man, after all it's he who is being chased for the Ticketus money etc. Not CG.

Good signing in Foster, he'll be a solid right back and with his pace (which was excellent) he'll get forward as well. Now that the futures of Boca and Gorin is sorted we can get two centre halfs to see us through for the next 2 seasons. We'll be hard pushed to get Wilson I get can't see him playing division 2 but you'll never know.
Believable0

Funny and mixed up world, I remember the 1st time he signed everyone slaughtered him.
Agree0

When Aberdeen loaned him to us, we were in the Top Flight, and could be more choosy about the calibre of player. This time he's spot on for the division we're in.

Craig Gordon training with Gers today, Ricky Foster trying to cancel Bristol City contract to sign 3 year deal at Rangers, from tv football. Personally I would rather sign Hatley than foster!

If Ally wants a new keeper for more competition for Cammy Bell as Alexander is more or less leaving. Plus he wants to loan out Scott Gallacher so maybe that's why he looking at Craig Gordon?

Ally needs to start staying off the blackthorn for a start, has anyone seen a picture of ally today?

I would definitely sign Craig Gordon on a pay as you play deal if he's fit and over all his injuries, if he gets back to anything like his best he would easily be the rangers no. 1 goalkeeper, I rate Gordon at his best better than cammy bell and even allan mcgregor, so may be worth taking a chance
Believable0
Unbelievable0
If Craig Gordon was even 75% fit he wouldn't be near ibrox.
Agree0

So you want a second division team to have THREE first choice keepers? You going to pay the wage of one of them?
Agree0
Disagree0
Craig Gordon's only at Murray park to use facility's and to learn from jim Stewart who he sees as his mentor
Agree0

25 Jun 2013 21:21:24
3 first team keeper hmm nope ally wants to send scott out on loan so would only have two gordan and bell fighting it out for no 1
Agree0

26 Jun 2013 02:41:33
If C Gordon still has to learn from J Stewart god help him, what age will he be when he, s learnt it?
Agree0

[post 4) the OP was about signing him on a pay as you play. he also just compared them to to Bell and McGregor. No mention of having 3 first team keepers.
i think he's right, get him on a years play as you play. gordon might be up for it if he can do a bit of coaching whilst he's there.

Would like to if you agree or disagree I would love to see big el hadji diouf back in a rangers top also would like to see Lee Martin have another crack with rangers and also wee Aaron niguez as well so people agree or disagree with me let me know RTID WATP 55 and counting
Names Dee-Jay

What is this obsession spme fans have with ex players? Diouff? What did he ever do? Unbelievable.
Agree0
Disagree0
Diouf is in his contract with Leeds, Martin has done nothing since he left Manchester United and his final ball is atrocious. Niguez was a decent looking wee player but again what's wrong with Shiels, Templeton, Little, McKay on the wings?
The squad needs a CB to partner McCulloch.
Out should go:
Cribari
Argyiou
Naismith
Perry
Possibly Black but I'd give him another season
Gasporotto looks like a decent young player and I would'nt be unhappy if he got a push to start with Jig.
The squad looks good, I could see them sign Foster again though which I would'nt be too keen on
My Team so far would be:
Bell
Little Jig Gasporotto Smith
Shiels Peralta Law Wallace
Daly Clarke
Subs
Kelly (GK)
Hegarty
Crawford
Aird
McLeod
McKay
Open to Change

Are you serious? The man is a total mentalist. The only signing that I've ever been ashamed of Rangers making.

0 from 3 for me Dee-Jay.
Djouf- Finished/too old.
Lee Martin -Why?
Niguez. Made all the right soundbites when on loan from Valencia, but never really showed much. He may have improved but I think we're okay midfield and forward. Two CB's the priority for me mate.

@ Coisty09
So not only would you leave Temps out of the starting XI, you wouldn't even have him on the bench?! Your name is very appropriate, in fact you might be more clueless than the real 'Coisty'

Sorry I knew I forgot someone important :)
He'd be starting instead of Clark :)
