Does anyone else think the same as me that lee wallace will stay with rangers for the rest of his career and go on to be our longterm captain?

Call me cynical J.R but is this the first of many predictions of future Rangers captain's to come from you?
I can see it now. "don't shoot the messenger guys but I've heard from a reliable source. etc etc"
๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™Œโšฝ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚ only at the wind up bud! Don't take it to heart; unless of course your friends dug that knows my dug has said you should take it to heart ๐Ÿ˜œ

Of course he will, he won't get to play at a higher level or make as Much money as he does at rangers!

Apologies for my sarcasm J.R ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜€
In answer to your question I don't think so. Whilst I think Wallace is as honorable as you're likely to get in a modern footballer I reckon he's no different to anyone else. If a better offer comes along he'll be off. That said, I don't think a better offer will come along and I reckon he knows that too. Plus, I don't think he's actually good enough to sustain a place if/when Rangers start to play in Europe and challenge regularly for top domestic honours. I don't see what the fuss is about when it comes to Wallace to be honest. Decent bloke? Sure, why not. Top class player? Not for me.

I don't know about yourself but I like to take a keen interest in lesser known leagues and watch the youth competition to see if I can see any players I like the look of. Home based scouting if you will and I've noticed a few players that I think would be amazing for rangers. I won't go through the whole list 'yes I'm a sad act I keep a list' but here's a few and some feedback would be great thanks.

Dom Dwyer ST Kansas City
Erik Palmer Brown CB Kansas City
Bobby Wood CB 1860 Munich
Joe Corona M Tijuana
Paul Arriola ST Tijuana

That's just a couple of my favourites who I think could do a job for rangers for years to come.

{Ed001's Note - Dom Dwyer is the English lad isn't he? Didn't he get booked for his selfie goal celebration even though Totti does it every time he scores?}

25 Mar 2015 15:32:44
Bankiebear) What sort of contracts are these lads on mate and are they low earners as I still think it will be sometime before we are seriously active in the transfer market, I would love to see us bring in and build with talented young players, better late than never, fed up with ex Rangers players returning and journeymen coming in for a final payday that's not to say I wouldn't like to see one last hurrah from Arteta and Davis.

Jason naismith and Josh Meekings would help shore our defence up

Aye and who do they play for sounds like some random names.

I've put the teams there Dom Dwyer is on (as the Americans put it) minimum wage contract which is about ยฃ30k a month. The only one I can see being on a quite high wage is Bobby Wood from 1860 Munich. Yes Dwyers the one who scored and done the selfie celebration he has the potential to be a quality player.

Bobby Wood, is he not a Scottish porn star?

If your meaning the 2 I said Copland they play for st mirren and Inverness Caley.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Mar 2015 10:39:49
CeeXXX and both are signed up till 2017 so would cost us a transfer fee to get them. Personally, I would try to get Meekings.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Mar 2015 18:06:11
If st mirren go down no way will naismith stay imo. Tom hateley could be an option

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Mar 2015 20:57:13
always rated Hateley - I would try to try him for RB role, he may come even if we don't go up, with the connection from his da!
and he's nota bad age and has an eye for a good cross too

Lafferty, Davis & Naismith don't rule out a return. Seriously?

Believable1 Unbelievable4

25 Mar 2015 07:30:33
Rangers cash position will rule out a return
KL will be on minimum 15k per week
SN reported to be on 50k a week
SD must be on 25k per week minimum

So we could not look at this type of wage. So the guys are
talking about a return to Ibrox when they are 30 to 33 years old and past it for 6 or 7 k per week no thanks

Spot on mate. Don't want to go down the route of signing any players at that age. It should be all about young hungry players rather than over the hill players

No Super $alary means the match can go ahead on Saturday as if he wasin charge for that game he would have been wanting it postponed!!!

Super ally isn't rangers manager anymore, why feel the need to post about him all the time?

Agree6 Disagree10

25 Mar 2015 11:03:43
Because he did a lot of damage to the club in his management years. Some of us will occasionally moan- so don't read the posts that upset you.

Agree2 Disagree2

25 Mar 2015 17:11:25
Well said mannering, and I would add, he still takes a big wage every month. He is still bleeding us, but I would say he is not damaging us on the park. Small mercies, I suppose.

If the masses would have took there red white & blue blinkers off they would have seen what everyone else was seeing. In just under 3 years he had taken a full squad of players backwards whilst bleeding the club dry & the victim card became tedious nobody will forget his " who are these people"? Well ally the people who adored you as a hero & a wee cheeky chappie opened their eyes & yet still some try to defend the undefendable.!

have to laugh at these so called rangers men that still want to slap mccoist on the back the ley off ally crew, I will lay off ally when he stops filling his wee fat greedy pockets every week with money that could be going to new players

27 Mar 2015 09:11:08
So called rangers men? What you thing your Mr rangers? Allys a club legend always will be no matter how much people like you say he's not. Look forward support the team and current manager. Some people just don't want rangers to do well or the would have bothing to moan about. he's a terrible manager yes no hiding that, but with the club still in a state is there not more important thing than ally McCoist.

Support the club for a change, how long will McCall get before you ridicule him 6 weeks?

Anyone think it would be a good idea to look at a short pay as you play deal for novo and lovenkrants both have pace and can score goals

Believable3 Unbelievable3

25 Mar 2015 07:05:37
I don't really like the idea of old players coming back I think McCall will have a few tricks up his sleeve to get us to the top league.

Agree2 Disagree1

25 Mar 2015 08:40:26
Novo couldn't hit water if he fell out a boat. He couldn't win a deal in the lower leagues, lovenkrands was my fave player when he was at rangers but his pace was his only asset, one which he doesn't possess anymore. Youth is the way forward

Yes would like to see C Gallacher getting some minutes. Is he out on loan still?
