Anyone got news on Peralta being signed thought it was a done deal?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why do we need another defensive midfielder? Weve got Black, Hutton, McLeod and Law coming in too. Where is all this extra money for wages coming from?

Agree0 Disagree0

Black over rated Hutton to busy on twitter saying how good he is when actually he's rubbish. a legend in his own mind but McLeod is a player

I would sign now Murray Davidson, Chris Humphrey, Nicky Clarke, Steven Saunders and Danny Wilson from Liverpool. So in 2014-15 we should try to win the Scottish Cup which means Europa League which is a good step to recovery

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Ok where do I begin? A new club must have a minimum 3 years audited accounts before they can receive a european license. When was the the last time the the rangers sevco actually cited any form of audited accounts? Nae European footie for some time me thinks?

Agree0 Disagree0

Why should a simple matter of audited accounts cause any grief. WATP after all. TTTS

Agree0 Disagree0

Win a cup with McCoist in charge? why does everyone assume better players are going to change McCoists tactics, it will be another season like the last 2 of 10 men behind the ball paying too much respect to teams who used to fear us, after all Walter Smith is his mentor. The players he had last season should have sufficient to play 2 up front in div 3 and now he needs a team full of SPL players and internationals that we can't afford to win the next division, I would get rid of him now and bring in a proven manager with Lee McCulloch as player/assistant manager.

What's happening with Clarke gone very quiet on that front? He was first one to say he would love a move to the gers

as tommy Wilson has left the club, I would like to see billy Reid ex Hamilton boss come in and coach the youth team, he done a great job with the young lads at Hamilton and they have a good few youngsters.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

More chance of him coming in as manager,, heard it here first
Thomas B

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so, need a guy that coaches youth and gives them a chance

All the talk about us needing a whole new defence, i'd be happy to see this
Bell
Mitchell McAusland Hegarty Wallace.

Mcausland has had rave reviews whilst playing with ayr, recently signed a new contract. Mitchell featured in last few games, picked up m. o. m twice, strolled it. For a little man hegarty has some leap and can be as physical as he needs to be, hard tackler. Wallace just speaks for himself.
If needed argy, gasparotto, perry, cole. Which is a whole new defence in its self

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mitchell looks like he has something to offer. Can't comment on McAusland as I've never seen him play. Haven't seen enough of Cole or Gasparotto to have any opinion on them. Wallace future captain material. Hegarty and Perry are rank rotten though, not even good enough to be squad men.

I can vouch for MacAusland, iv been to Ayr Utd games a few times this season as I only live round the corner - The Ayr defence looked very shaky when he didn't play and was much improved when he did. He impressed me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surprised about the comments on Mitchell. I thought he was just average and was shown up against Peterhead. Can put in a tackle right enough but very weak going forward and not what we need. We need a full back that will run at people with a bit of pace

Agree0 Disagree0

Hegarty? Are you joking? He is woeful and isn't the answer when we climb up the leagues

Agree0 Disagree0

Never seen mcausland play tbh but gasperotto looks like a decent player

Very chuffed at the moment with regards to recent signings. Just hope we can afford it. Surely we're not that stupid to get yourself into another financial predicament. What do my fellow bears think on the matter?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

They are "pre-contract" signings.
That seems to me to be a bit of a contradiction in terms.
i. e. they have signed no contract but are deemed to have signed.
It seems at bit tenuous to me.
These "contracts" could easily be negated if no papers are eventually signed.

Agree0 Disagree0

Not signings, pre-contracts, still another 3 months til they run out at Ibrox in the new strip. What new strip?! Oh aye that Puma one that's still not appeared. Coming to think of it, where's my renewal letter?

Agree0 Disagree0

The contracts are signed just need till 1st of sep to be officially registered

Agree0 Disagree0

Baybear do they not automatically take the money out your account unless their informed that you don't want to renew that's what used to happen

Agree0 Disagree0

@4 can't do that. Instructed bank to cancel d/d. Wondered if I'd get a letter when they were unable to get the payment. Don't think they've tried yet. Happy to renew when we get rid of shysters but won't until then.

Agree0 Disagree0

Want to see some accounts that shows responsible book keeping, and at what rate the share issue monies have been spent! Don't get me wrong the signings seem decent, but at what cost? I suspect the board intend to carry the debts forward as the future selling price. And it can be done providing they don't rip the erse out of it, and their forecast is realistic. This lot need to earn our loyalty and money.

Now that the tv are saying that the latest outcome about Greens alleged involvement with Craig Whyte has come up with a verdict of no collusion.

Does nylon other than me think that it would be interesting for whoever now to apply the same level of scrutiny that Rangers have had to endure over the last 18 months to every other club in the top flight.

It would be interesting to see what other skeletons would fall out off other cupboards in the name of sporting integrity.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 May 2013 10:16:42
Sorry but why would you give the same scrutiny to a financially prudent club like St Johnstone or ICT? Hearts definitely deserve more scrutiny in my mind though.

And as I said weeks ago it's impossible to prove collusion between Whyte & Green unless you place both men in a court of law. Whyte and Early didn't give responses to the inquiry and apparently Green and Ahmad didn't even give their full co-operation either so I remain suspicious.

And yes I am a bear (who'll be cheering on Hibs today & gong to back them to win the Cup in ET at 25/1)

Rangers voluntarily agreed to pay Pinsent Masons a very sizeable sum to be scrutinise possible links between Mr Green & Mr Whyte.

Think hard why they did that OP. Engage your brain.

Agree0 Disagree0

OP, now I get it. If media speculation is positive it must be true, but if it is negative it is "anti-Rangers" propaganda.

Agree0 Disagree0

Just read the reports of this apparent investigation outcome and think it sounds very suspicious. why would CG not contribute fully if the accusations are about him and why wouldn't the appointed QC's speak to Whyte? I'd very surprised if the sfa took this report as acceptable. all a whitewash to get ST sales up

Agree0 Disagree0

@1 il be backing griffiths 2-1 hibs the mora I hope the wee man sinks them for Lennon saying he's not good enough for his team

Agree0 Disagree0

Post. May have better joy betting Hibs tomorrow rather than today! And why has the talk shifted to Hibs beating Celtic and getting one over Neil Lennon than our own club? An INTERNAL investigation clears us. should we be delighted or suspicious? What were they going to say? Guilty? Please remove our licence? Get ourselves in order first before this constant "Tim-bashing" which is only done to make a certain element of our support feel better.
Thomas B

Agree0 Disagree0

#6 I wouldn't call anybody saying they're backing Hibs at a good price is 'tim bashing' if so I have no idea what you must make of some other Gers forums.

As for the report I remain very sceptical myself but will read the official statement from PM with interest rather than just making my mind up after Jabba on behalf of CG decides to leak the result a rather inept tv Scotland employee.
