Proved tonight why the loan players start.
It’s proven how far we have come, that we’re dissapointed we didn’t beat Spartak.

Thought all our loan players played well, against spartak moscow. Yet again though, ryan kent was the pick of the bunch, for me! Once he drops that shoulder and works those extremely fast feet of his, he's away and skipping past at least 2 defenders, at a time. Kent is so direct and terrific to watch, with edge of your seat football at times! Really do hope, we can get him tied up, to a permanent deal! Thought morelos was good again. His hold up play is excellent and he's a terrific striker to have in the team, as the one loan striker, up top!
He holds off defenders with ease and is as strong as an ox! He's so important to Gerrard's team and what we do, with our style of play! He only had a couple of half chances against spartak though and didn't get what i'd call a right, proper,
striker's chance! We'll miss el buffalo on sunday, against them, but will still beat them, with ryan kent through the middle! Also thought joe worrall, was superb against spartak.

Grezda got be given time to get up to speed when Kent first played he was ok now he’s outstanding Bristol city fans said he was rotten sure Grezda will come good in time.

Not sure putting Kent through the middle is the right choice he is better coming in off the wing. It’s a really tough call for who is to play through the centre. Maybe Middleton?

Thought we did ok tonight decent result, destiny still in our own hands, Kent was unplayable, would've brought Middleton on earlier for candeias. Don't think grezda is rangers class. Also thought Jack had good game. I'm happy enough.

Also thought ryan jack had a smashing game, especially as it was his first game back, after his injury! His passing was clean and precise, all night and kept everything moving for us, in the midfield! Never wasted a ball!

Ejaria was poor 1st few games but was given time, grazda hasn't had anywhere near that game time yet. I've got a feeling you're a Middleton supporter and grazda is getting it on the neck, he came on last night and got himself into 2 goalscoring opportunities and couldve win a pen.

Agree, Jack had a decent game. But, Coulibally was poor again last night. Sloppy in possession, not much going forward, no creativity, didn't win many tackles either. don't think he has fully regained his confidence after injury. Hopefully soon be back to the player we saw earlier in the season, otherwise I'd take him out of the team for a spell.

Grazda looks very lightweight for the Scottish game not going to dispute he has talent but feel he will be pushed off the ball too easily.

Every player stepped upto the mark other than Coulibaly in my opinion he broke the play up often enough but his distribution was shocking. Kent was unplayable, Morelos a handful as usual our defence wasn’t really troubled. Still unbeaten in Europe bears only way is up.

A decent result tonight but should've been 3 points at home
For me, it was as stonewall a penalty if I ever seen one and the same man Grezda missed a golden opportunity at the end! He should've put his boot right through that even a toe poke!
I'm no sure where we are going to get our next 3 points!
Villareal look like their heating up now
We need to take points on the road
2 away games and a home game against the favourites Villareal
So out of a possible 9 points we need to be picking up at least a win somewhere and a draw for guaranteed qualification!
Spartak Moscow away will be a tough one
Villarreal at home another tough one but should grind a point at least
Rapid Vienna away another tough one This is the one we should be looking at getting the 3 points
We need to go with a positive attitude and try win all games otherwise what's the point in being in the competition!

A lot of good points made from Doiger, ArthurD, and Dic7007 concerning plastic pitches, let the debate go on, personally I would like a bigger league, but there is a lot football and money rulings would have to be sorted, like what ArthurD said “Sky” would have a say.

I agree on a bigger league system. It seems redundant that we have so many leagues for the size of the country 3 leagues is enough. However Sky/ BT or whoever has it wants the old firm games. They would have us playing every week if they could. If we dropped the number of those games to 2 in the league sky would drop the payments made to scottish football. On one hand it would help the lesser teams with increased gate money and tv deal money but it would have a negative effect on teams already in the small premier league. I have always said summer football is what we should have in scotland. Sky would pay well to have football running all year round. It would help with the removal of plastic pitches also. Although that would take years to gradually adjust the league start dates.

The 4 old firm games make our product, hearts and hibs is also a plus but let's face it who wants to watch dundee v st mirren etc. If these teams brought as much fans to their home games as they want tickets for semi's/ finals then it could improve the clubs/ teams and enhance the product. But until that day and the removal of these laughable pitches then our product remains very poor. On the other hand if tv put a bit more into the game it might encourage the above. Grass routes is another issue. What is it the sfa actually do🤔👍.
