Zaliukas deal is dead in the water. Thank God for that. absolutely no need for him to be at our club.

thank god ure a new Gaz, I was having nightmares for a while there, thot the dark Gaz had finished his huff and returned to tell us how it should be!, god no please, TB

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha thankfully he won't be back anytime soon to bore us! I did see however that the dhims are comparing blacks accumulator betting and 3match ban to the 12yr ban handed out for match fixing despite their being no similarities. Can you imagine if they realised black actually scored for rangers to put them ahead when he had on his accumulator that we would draw.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agreed neither player was ever going to sign and the half hearted attempts to sign both were embarrassing

@op and 1 you totaly can't blame ally for this why as a player (Zaliukas) come for a trail if you have no intentions to sign? Strange one.

@2 what's so strange? Ally playing a media pr game, no intention to sign player but thinks its good to be seen to be after him. Zaliukas takn in and thinks there's a chance of a good deal so comes for a trial. In the end there's no signing as was always planned. No mystery, unless you try not to question ally's motives and focus on the player's motives instead.

Agree0 Disagree0

Alex1972 think you'll find loads of players have come in on trial under Ally and hardly any have signed for one reason or another. Rangers had no intention of signing Zaliukas but wanted to be seen to try and sign him. U r being conned just now open your eyes and realise how bad the situation is

Agree0 Disagree0

Surprise surprise the spin doctor has spoken just going tae go with what were got. Should not have bothered with these two to much wages and rubbish can't wait to the agm get this puppet out aswell.?

Just read an excellent story on how the Portsmouth trust now have 59% of the club owned by there shareholders (supportes).

If pompey can do it, then surely that's the way forward for Rangers.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Difference is mate, they are a unified support with one goal. I talk from experience as my wife is one of them. If only we could come together for the common good. Trouble is there are too many who have very different ideas about what and where our club should be. It really is a shame though. Good post none the less.

It took Portsmouth heading for liquidation and expulsion from the FA before the fans finally got their act together. What did it take, 3 times in Administration from memory?

Agree0 Disagree0

After reading & not posting much on this site I must say Baybear, you have had much to say over these last few months, if not longer. Along with other fans who only want the best for our club we need to keep the heart of Rangers alive and rid the club of what can only be described as a fasciast and totallian regime of robin barstuards,

remember the early 80's, late 60's
did we not come back then?
Yes, but todays regime in controle of our club is, not to put it too mildly, a small form of oppression towards the fans with regards to the funds put in by supporters and the huge retractions taken by the board/management & finances given aka contracts to players, management BONUSES? wtf. This should have been put to bed well before now, but we're at the wrong end of the dodgey geoff hunts who have our front door keys.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree totally Kelpie, but the problem we have is that we are open to the 'fast buck mob' because of the size of our support and as shown by your post, we are worldwide.
The standards that these people have, are not those of the genuine fans.
Yes, we love the success we have enjoyed, but these people are only interested in the pound notes associated with the same. Ego is also involved with the some of them but I am forever hopeful that with the correct guidance we can get our beloved club back on the straight and narrow, both on and off the park.
Most importantly, however, the coffers of the club must be in safe hands.

Op had a look at this after reading your post and saw this interesting point

Whilst we note PKF's decision, we recognise that preferred bidder status has no basis in law. And we are confident that our bid offers both the best deal for creditors and is the only fully funded offer to provide Portsmouth FC with a financially sound and sustainable future. "

PKF, having nominated the trust as preferred bidders, appears to have accepted legal action is possible, and to believe that a court would approve a sale to the trust, on the basis that its valuation of Fratton Park represents fair market value.

That being the case if blue knights, murray, McColl, King or any others had been serious about taking over the assets of rangers then they could have easily challenged D&P nomination of Greens consortium in court,
it would appear that they were never serious as no challenge was made

Baybear, it seems that there were only a couple of hundred who set up the trust which included several wealthy fans putting in the majority of the cash and the sums involved were only about 750k, strangley enough about the same as the RFFF raised to help out the club
when you figure in the BTC decision was known but held back, there was no way the time was right or the opportunity was there for a rangers fans trust to take over the club when we were in our administration period

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 you'll get no arguments from me JG. As I said in a previous post, things may need to get worse before they get better, just as they did for Pompey. Like us they initially trusted those that came in with false promises. let's hope admin 2 is as far as we let it go.

i may be wrong here, but I feel its easier to organise when your club is a small town club with around 20,000 fans on a big game day, when you have 100s of thousands around the worlsd it is harder, and this is what these snakes rely on, no organisation, many so called leaders and many factions, hearts found it pretty easy to organise, so that to me proves my point, they were able to arrange that almost all of them could be contacted and meet, we can't do that, there's 50,000 at Ibrox every 2nd week alone,
if we were able to do such a thing it would be unprecedented and I live in hope, but I believe this is the reason Hearts and pompey were able to do so
Tommyblue

Agree0 Disagree0

@7 I think you're spot on Tommyblue. That's why we could really do with a figurehead we all respect that we can get behind. The only one who made any attempt was Bomber but unfortunately his manner played right into the hands of those who don't want this. It was all too easy to brand him a raging lunatic and force him to go away.
