I know you shouldn't gloat on things like this but i certainly on this instance, can't help myself! The news tonight is dundee utd are in big financial difficulty and are having to sell their training ground, for much needed revenue! Well, well stephen thompson, what goes around, comes around, you nasty piece of work! I make absolutely no apologies in saying, i personally hope dundee utd go to the wall! Good riddance to a football club i detest! I'll NEVER forget what that dundee utd owner, stephen thompson said and what he wanted to happen to our club,
the famous glasgow rangers! So my strong message to him is, i truly hope you's go out the game! Who's laughing now thompson!

26 Feb 2018 19:58:30
Beat me to it supercooper - karma's a bitch ain't it? Feel for those who'll lose their jobs but I have no sympathy with Thompson. Oh dear, how sad - never mind!

26 Feb 2018 20:40:27
That's cheered me up no end.
Good riddance.

26 Feb 2018 20:44:52
hahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahaha
yes thompson we are laughing at you

26 Feb 2018 21:31:51
ER bears, Karma? Club in serious financial trouble? Getting loans to keep going by hocking parts of the club?
Ring any bells down Govan way?

26 Feb 2018 21:51:11
Yes I agree Thompson deserves what he gets, Dundee United though have fans normal hard working guys like most of us, I hope their club survives. Scottish football desperately needs more top clubs not less.

26 Feb 2018 21:57:29
Beautiful I'm over the moon couldn't happen to a better club Dundee Hinernians RIP

26 Feb 2018 22:44:05
Timaloy good to see you back, you have a very short memory, if
your team never won yesterday guaranteed we would not be listening to your crap .
But Def look forward, to your conversations over the next couple of seasons, you will probably disappear same as the rest of your fans .

26 Feb 2018 22:44:58
It's a director that has bought the training ground and has gave them an option to buy it back at same cost. Basically it's a directors loan. Wonder who else is doing this?

27 Feb 2018 00:21:36
Good riddance to them. Delighted to hear they are struggling.

27 Feb 2018 05:21:00
Yes it wasn’t that long ago ra Celtic were having the chain put around the gates till the bunnet turned up 😂

27 Feb 2018 06:55:36
OMG tinman they had the bunnet we didn't. We need to increase our income, less teams less income think about it please.

27 Feb 2018 08:05:06
Scottish football needs a dtrong rangers celtic aberdeen DUNDEE UTD hearts hibs etc etc other wise in years to come we will be just like the northern ireland and eales leagues .

When you think of it truthfully the scottish 2nd 3rd division as well as half the championship it already there it creeping in threw the leagues even killie dundee etc big stadium small crowds

27 Feb 2018 08:41:02
Can’t agree gents. Wouldn’t wish that on any Scottish Club. And joking apart I wouldn’t even wish on our friends across the city.

27 Feb 2018 08:42:38
Dundee United have been on a sticky wicket for ages. They've gotten a percentage of Robertson going to Liverpool at the start of the season, which helped keep them going till now. They had a decent, young manager in mckinnon, got rid and replaced him with that a ba head. Pretty sure they had to get promoted this year to survive. Don't want anyone to lose their jobs but Thompson? The mans a tit. Did hear that the American owners of Dundee fc were going to takeover.

27 Feb 2018 08:40:37
good riddance Dundee Celtic.

27 Feb 2018 08:46:03
Maybe somebody should tell them how you can get an overdraft from Close Brothers, if you are in dire straits financially.

27 Feb 2018 08:42:05
Good enough for them.

27 Feb 2018 08:51:34
It isn’t nice to see any club go into financial difficulty. When we struggled the amount of abuse we got was unreal but for us now to give it back as we received is not the way forward lads. He is a bell but to be fair you've all just lowered yourself to his standard. Should be showing how great us Rangers fans really are.

27 Feb 2018 09:00:59
Tim did you think up that all by yourself or did you get your imaginary friends to help out

27 Feb 2018 09:08:03
Have zero interest in Dundee utd. Just like they had no interest in us.

27 Feb 2018 17:03:21
@bluepete what difference does it make if they have working class fans? our club had masses of working class fans and did the dundee utd fans care? no they never not one bit. personally i hope their fans get exactly what they dished out to us. however whether their is enough of them to make a difference only time will tell.

cant wait to party when that club goes to the wall for good

We'd be mad to drop Murty at end of season. Even a big name would be a gamble. Le Guen came with a great CV, but that didn't work out.
Murty is STILL building a side, and we have not seen the finished product yet, and even now we are light years ahead of where we were in October.
For me he's doing the business.

26 Feb 2018 21:27:15
that was the 1st true transfer window . with murty and allen makin decisions and i think they signed real good players for once.1st transfer window in years when nearly everyone thought it was all good business done

26 Feb 2018 22:48:41
Mark Allen is a great asset funded by the 5 millionaires as I mentioned previously, he always has five players in mind for every position, then it's down to the manager, don't think we will keep Goes but guaranteed there will be a replacement lined up .

27 Feb 2018 08:54:17
Wasn't so long ago, some people were frothing at the mouth regarding mark Allen. Fair dues, the signings in January have all worked out (not really sure martin is any better than our other defender's) signing the loans permanently in the summer. Getting rid of niko, Herrera, alves (probably) . A couple more signings and we'll be looking good

26 Feb 2018 18:25:24
With Wallace close to returning who agrees he'll need to make do with the bench? Declan John imo has made the position his.

27 Feb 2018 08:41:32
keep John in and i reckon Murty has the balls to do it. Names like Miller an Alves are guaranteed so hopefully not Wallace.

27 Feb 2018 08:42:04
No he won't, Declan johns out for 4 weeks with a groin strain

27 Feb 2018 08:56:20
I think Wallace will get a chance as a left sided centre half. He's still a good player

27 Feb 2018 12:48:23
Wallace straight back in tonight I reckon with Elton out injured.

26 Feb 2018 18:22:43
Ed, can you make a poll please:

young up and coming Murty

or

someone else.

Murty or Someone else Poll

26 Feb 2018 23:00:33
Why is this even up discussion the now he’s eh manager the now let’s see how we do till the end of the season then this can be debated

27 Feb 2018 11:47:41
Totally agree gersman, I'm fed up with this chat. Back Murty till the end of season. End of.

26 Feb 2018 16:36:23
Wallace looks like he is fit and ready to return if selected. Dorrans also does not look too far away. With competition from Bruno and Miller our squad looks good and we should be confident of going on an extended run now.

26 Feb 2018 14:34:18
Is it only me who thinks murty takes to long to make a change during the game and never takes windows off.

26 Feb 2018 15:48:38
I like a change of player around 60 mins then further if required or for injuries when required. Murty does seem to leave it late. I can only go by if I was playing I'd want half hour to get into game. Not everyone can be ole gunner from man u. Trust Murtys judgement though.

26 Feb 2018 16:24:43
Frustrating remember Walter been the same, don’t think Murty likes to change it before the game basically in the bag. can’t fault his changes tho have always worked well say he changed it on Saturday went with 2 up to and hooked Windass and then Hearts score (Naismith) the fans would want his head

26 Feb 2018 17:40:48
Sometimes when there is only one goal in it and you do make a change you have to be spot on, I said weeks ago we need more consistency from Windass
ie more composure, he along with Morales could have put the game to bed
a lot earlier, but they are still young and learning .
That was a good performance and we will only get better .

26 Feb 2018 18:28:37
I agree they are young but young greg was having a great game and and taken off while windass stayed on again, he never gets taken off no matter what. Murty is doing a great job but but just sometimes he's got to take a chance sooner. Cummings should've been on sooner no good just getting 15 here and there give him 30 mins at least

26 Feb 2018 19:28:50
Totally agree springboy, as I said Windass just needs that bit more consistency .

26 Feb 2018 19:48:17
I thought he'd sub windass for cummings, as he'd missed a few sitters that could have put it to bed a lot sooner. But we got the second eventually and won so no complaints.

I think Morelos is good as a lone up top as he holds up and goes wide bringing others in, but I'm not sure if Cummings would be as effective doing that.

Think he'd be better with a partner upfront to make space for him, maybe if Morelos does goes off (it's a long shift), Murphy could move into a 2 up?

26 Feb 2018 13:51:01
What’s all your thoughts on the team for tomorrow night? The team is playing well and I wouldn’t change it although I do see the point of bears who want 2 up top. I personally thought we should pull a surprise and go with 2 up for the Hearts game but the gaffer got it spot on and I see no need to change! Docherty’s through ball for Murphy’s goal was real quality and I look forward to more from him!
