Hi Ed,
Tried to post last week on the same topic. Ally and Charlie are laughing at us. Ally is a one trick pony with not a clue.
Send to Inverness for the Butcher

Believable32 Unbelievable11

Op Why on earth do you think he'd come? He's doing just great up there and if he goes anywhere, it'll be to a big English club.He ain't crazy

Agree16 Disagree6

@1 he would come because his earnings would be far bigger.

Agree3 Disagree3

@2 Money isn't everything believe me.He's looking for a big English club when he moves and good luck to him.He deserves top flight success and let's face it, he'll not get that at Ibrox---just yet.

McCoist almost conceded today that Dundee Utd will win next week . What score would get Ally the Sack ? 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 ? IMO 4 or more will do it .

Believable19 Unbelievable5

Ally has been very clever as usual, he is pretty much un sackable. As soon as he got his shares(bought or a gift from green to get his backing?)it was thus.Remember he is now greens chief cheerleader.

Agree10 Disagree3

It would cost too much to sack mccoist, if he cared about his club he would walk
DB77

Agree9 Disagree4

The share issue is done, everything is done and dusted. It's time to sever some more links with the past, Ally should be replaced with a competent gaffer.

Agree11 Disagree4

@2 he don't do walking away! Remember? The worst manager in Rangers and now even The Rangers short history!!
NaCS

Agree18 Disagree9

Ally was Craig Whytes chief cheerleader.

I did not feel that I would ever post such negativity against my team but we have had so many 'poor performances' from a group of players, not a team, playing with no direction or purpose that I feel that we are on the verge of a total reality check. Hopefully next week-end will not be lambs to the slaughter so we must hope that our senior players will lead by example and get us a result. At the end of the day a total re-think of our management structure is necessary before we think about fast tracking or other leagues. We are all hot air at the moment and I would thank Mr Green for saving us from oblivion but we must start being realistic about where we are and remember to get the basics right before he starts all his bluster.

If we play like that next week our season will be over, absolute rubbish. We turn up in vast numbers at least the team should show us they are up for it same as the fans. We are fed more of Greens dreams let's get it right on the park at least there is a limit to what even our most loyal fans will take. What is wrong is it the coaching or the players or both?.
Bobby

Believable24 Unbelievable4

Coaching, tactics and scouting seem to be a real problem. Ally seems to make changes that never affect a game and that's a worry.

Agree17 Disagree3

Wtf mega points clear
at the top and you want the ally sacked. ED ..where has this happened ini the world of fitba? {Ed001's Note - this is a very unusual situation all round to be fair.}

What a strike for the boy from Montrose!!!!!!..................kbt1978

Believable25 Unbelievable4

Alexander has to take a lot of blame this isn't the first long range shot he has let in . {The Ed039's Note - You cant blame the keeper for that goal, in off the bar in the top corner, if he had let it slip under his body or something then yes, but it was a wonder strike, it all came from Templeton being silly in possesion and there being no central midfielders in position)

if he can't be trusted with transfer money, and has no future, then why continue with this farce find a manager that can take this club forward.....les

Beaten by Stirling, draws against Peterhead, Annan, Berwick, Elgin, Montrose. Well beaten at home by Inverness, and put out on penalties by Q.O.S At home in Ramsdens cup. Not good enough two holding midfielders at home (i know MacLeod went off) Little playing out on right when he's a striker. McKay not starting? Football is rubbish to watch. No fluency and McCoist is tactically naieve. i'm sorry but against players like MacKay- stevens, Daly, Russell, Skacel I fear a hammering at Tannadice Gowdy54

Believable29 Unbelievable7

Fear you may be right there. Dundee utd have some quality players with a bit of pace. A hammering could be on the cards as they will be up for this after all the recent bad blood between the clubs

Agree18 Disagree3

Yes the rest of Scotland are praying for a hammering after the way green has behaved over this tie! What goes sounds springs to mind!
Mon the arabs

Agree5 Disagree2

Little is a striker who should be playing through the middle and Hegarty rarely goes over the half way line any goal threat in the first half was from Templeton who started the game on the left so why does McCoist deploy him on the right at the start of the second half.
Most of the time in the second half when we did go forward most of the attacks broke down on the 18 yard box.The only two chances were Blacks free kick which hit the post and Mackays shot which the keeper made a great save.
It doesn't take a coach to work out the problems but a good one would have switched the team accordingly.

mccoist has got money at his disposal so why not use it and get 17 year olds that want to fight for the jerseys cause yet again am disapointed in the squad wee have rangers ar my team but I as a fan pay to watch that dross on the park and recent football has really got boring 4 5 1 aren't the answer mccoist get back to basics and get 2 up front as poachers not 1 of the other doesn't work I rekon if we where in spl we would be sitting near the bottom even if we had last year squad because mccoist is not good anuf

Believable14 Unbelievable9

Would you want Ally to buy you a lucky never mind a footballer .....TTTS

Agree12 Disagree2

What money has McCoist got at his disposal? If green is to be believed the co made a loss. The share money will be required to cover costs until there is a steady stream of income.

26 Jan 2013 19:05:38
it is's time for change the manager has no tactics to change the way wee play he let's a striker go that can score in two division higher and we can not get one to score time for change

Believable22 Unbelievable5

I hate critisising Ally but the football I watch at Ibrox isn't worth even the reduced money I'm paying for my season ticket this season.

In fact at times it's been pathetic, let's at least have some entertainment, the fans deserve much better and I can really see gates dropping now till the end of the season.

Agree7 Disagree2

@1 wow you must be raging having paid for a season ticket to watch that crap! 3 of my mates got in for free today lol
I couldn't get across for the game which I am raging about because it was arguably the best result in my teams history today!! Yous needed an own goal as well lol

Would anybody want to see Lomas in as manager? Plays some silky football at St Mirren and think we deserve some actual style on the pitch after years of rubbish. Young guy whod defo come to us. We need to build a good passing style of football for the future instead of the long ball nonsense Mcoist has us playing.

Rossco Cyprus Bear

Believable12 Unbelievable13

Has Lomas moved??

Agree5 Disagree1

Lomas st mirren?

Agree6 Disagree1

Lomas @st johnston....Lennon @ ST MIRREN

Agree4 Disagree2

But Ally's got a contract for 25 years.

Agree9 Disagree3

Yes, shame its Danny Lennon at St Mirren isn't it.

Agree3 Disagree2

You're getting your "Saints" mixed up Rossco . Lomas is the St Johnstone manager . LENNON is the Boss at St Mirren - would you want him ?

My mistake! Nonetheless I reckon Lomas would bring a good brand of football to ibrox

get a grip guys, give mccoist a break. Fergies tactics would be useless in the third division. Aye we're pretty hopeless just now but we're winning the league at a canter. Wot more do you want. if you expect free flowing football look else where because it's not going to be in the third division of scottish football.

The guys been through hell and back for the club (just like the rest of us) and he could be doing without some cardboard supporters jumping on his back, wot are we.....celtic supporters??

Guys a legend give him a couple of seasons.

peace

c-bear85

Believable7 Unbelievable33

Get real !!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree18 Disagree3

What utter rubbish! McCoist's tactics or lack of them are a joke. 1 up front at home in division 3. Players constantly played out of position and some very average players getting a game week after week. That's over 20 games now in the league and is there any real improvement? There is nothing to suggest any kind of progress and we are only winning this league because the standard is so poor. Most wins have been ground out and it's shocking to watch. The supporters have been amazing this season but we're being short changed by a manager who is clearly not good enough and players who aren't even division standard yet are being paid top wages

Agree17 Disagree4

Mcoist is not taking rangers forward his team has no plan to beat packed defences and half the team doesn't look fit

Agree19 Disagree4

Mention the celtic fans all you like, it won't deflect from the fact that ally looks lost trying to change a teams shape.Winning the league is okay but look at the opposition.

Agree14 Disagree1

Where have you been?...He's had a couple of seasons! QP have 3 games in hand that brings it down to 11pts.. Have you forgot last season when he lost a 15pt lead with the dead club?

Just back form game best thing about it was getting to pub after,,, this is a total and utter joke ,,, our manager knows nothing about team selection, his back ground staff know nothing our directors know nothing and what are we suppoused to do ? o ye shut up and follow the nonsense we keep getting week in week out... Ally's latest rant that no one should go to game against UTD must be because we might even start booing him at this game.... he is useless ,, any manager with bit savvy would be able to motivate the lads we have no problem,,, Ally lacks knowledge and has had enough time in the job to understand how to win, .
At the start of the season my mates were thinking of putting big money on us not losing a game in the league thankfully we didnt,,, even the easy bet of winning all our home games is now a joke, bookies must be laffin in their sleeves... OMFG.... go please Alaister and stop telling us we must stick together as one unit,,, if that was the case Green etc wouldn't be swaning off to the UTD game for the hospitality.. etc

Agree8 Disagree1

To the OP, Mate you need to have word with yourself and be honest about it. 2 good results against Celtic and a couple of good wins over Motherwell is all McCoist has to show for 19 months in charge of a club like Rangers is a disgrace. You can go on about the oldco's administration but the squad he inherited had genuine quality, full of title winning experienced players, even without any new additions. He blew a 15 point lead and won nothing. Now in the 3rd division with a far superior squad of players than the opposition and paying SPL wages to half of them your arguing that its because its division 3 so we can't play some quality football? AT HOME we should be slaughtering teams, passing them off the park, scoring 3, 4, 5 and keeping clean sheets. Away from home I understand we could struggle on the rough pitches and physical tactics of the opposition but there's no excuse for the home performances so Ally doesn't have a leg to stand on. The guys a legend but believe me he will not become a good manager and the club will suffer while he's trying to win a trophy and we will go backwards. He has shown no signs he has what it takes to be a successful manager.

Agree2 Disagree0

This could unravel now, if qp go on a run, the lead could be lost.

26 Jan 2013 18:07:51
Just listening to McCoist on the radio . Re the Montrose equaliser he said "he could see it Coming" !! That being the case Ally - why didn't you do something about it ? - That's your Job !

Believable27 Unbelievable3

The reason he didn't do anything about it mate as he has no clue how to !!! - get rid of this joke of a manager now or we will never build a team to compete

Agree31 Disagree4

Why leave it so late to bring on Mackay.
Play Little through the middle with McCulloch when he is fit or Sandaza.

Agree12 Disagree6

Mccoist does not even come out and apologise for this complete joke ! all he does is blame the players !!!!! Mccoist do us a favour and P%$s off

Agree20 Disagree3

Mccoist is gutless and useless - lets be honest he's no Rangers manager, how far to we need to go down this road until we get rid of him, - his signings have been nothing but atrocious, - Kevin Kyle - joke - Sandaza ? what was Mccoist thinking of when he put him on his must buy list? - I dread to think whos next to come into ibrox !

Agree13 Disagree3

Ally must stay until RFC back in the SPL

Agree10 Disagree12

@5: you'll be in favour of the 25-yeay contract then?

Agree14 Disagree0

I, m 54 and can't wait that long..les

Agree12 Disagree1

26 Jan 2013 17:29:30
So we're running at a loss to field players that can't even beat Montrose at Ibrox and have got us pumped out of 2 cup competitions already.
Joke.

Believable28 Unbelievable3

Don't forget they get paid spl money too

Agree22 Disagree3

Ally reckons a 1-0 win over Peterhead is great - a 1-1 draw with Elgin and Montrose he saw it coming ! - I for one don't want to watch this dross week in week out ! bring in Mccoll to drive us forward -

Agree20 Disagree6

CG must not have the same vision for our team as we do -- or he would get rid of the substandard managerial staff we have at the moment. Mccoist WAS the fans favourite as a player but not as a manager -

Agree14 Disagree1

@3: maybe he can't afford the pay offs? Strange how nobody has mentioned that yet...

Agree10 Disagree0

@4 totally correct! Green can't afford to sack ally as it will cost a fortune!
Won't be long before continues to manipulate the hordes and get them to direct their fury towards Ally! Just !

26 Jan 2013 17:27:09
Ally ffs step down now you don't know what your doin

Believable28 Unbelievable5

Spot on, watch mccoist he just their with arms foulded, he's just not got it.bring in butcher {The Ed039's Note - Davie Weir, job is made for a young hungry coach out to make a name for themselves)

Agree23 Disagree2

Mccoist and ALL his so called coaching staff and scouting dross - !!!!! i'm not going back - I have shown my loyalty week in and week out and derserve better than this s$%te

Agree24 Disagree3

Its been a while since Davie Weir has been described as young and hungry, lol {The Ed039's Note - So he is a veteran coach then?)

Agree8 Disagree1

When oh when will CG realise that he needs to get rid of Mccoist - his tactics are shocking and most of his signing are even worse, - we deserve better -and with mccoist we aren't going to get it !!!!

Agree20 Disagree3

@4 he will never get rid of mccoist! He needs his sleekit ways of pulling the wool over your supporters eyes and keep them coming through the turnstiles!
NaCS

Agree14 Disagree4

Charles green won't or even contemplate getting rid of mccoist he needs him while he tries to get us the fans on his side. I have always had the feeling green is in this for his own needs.im sorry but I don't think we will move on with these two on board.jimbo

Agree15 Disagree3

@2 do you know what Durrant & Kenny Clipboard do because I'm at a loss??

Agree8 Disagree2

Davie weirs happy were he is coaching not managing

john

Agree7 Disagree3

@5 - think youve nailed it on the head mate - Mcoist has got the gift of the gabb and CG sees this as a way to get the supporters to back him

Agree6 Disagree4

@5 to an extent I agree with you however if perfomances like that continue then you will find people staying away. The fans deserve much better than this rubbish and aren't as daft as some people seem to think

Agree6 Disagree4

Mccoist was a yes man for whyte remember ? and he's a yes man now, - that's why Green needs him

Agree8 Disagree5

@10 (poster @5) I totally agree with you mate, I am not a rangers fan and I am Not a Celtic Fan (I am actually a montrose fan so I am well chuffed with yesterday's result) but your supporters deserve a lot better than what you are getting on the park at the moment! Ally is not and never has been the man to lead a club as big as rangers!
Bottom line, your support deserve a lot better than this as reward for the way you have rallied around your club which has been nothing short of incredible!

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Jan 2013 17:25:54
mccoist is the worst manager to have ever managed rangers. football is utterly aweful!

Believable25 Unbelievable9

What is for sure is that the current scouting staff are definitely the worst ever at Ibrox, made all the worse by the comparison with that mob across the city who seem to make it look easy to pick up a player like Hooper o Wanyama who they can then sell on for a profit in the millions.

Sort it out Ally!

Agree13 Disagree3

The only reason he did not walk away is because he knew he wouldn't get a job anywhere else... He then minipulated a situation with Charles Green to keep the fans onside whilst being paid a very good wage... he's a sneak.... Remember him parking his car at the front door of Ibrox when he had heard Green was going to replace him?? A real snake and am amazed so many have been blinkered by him.

Agree9 Disagree7

Of course he's the worst manager to manage the rangers, he's the first.

Agree14 Disagree4

No don't sort it out Ally !! just go !

Tatally agree mate - they buy hooper etc and we get kevin kyle and sandaza ! - bear in mind he was Allys top target !!!!!!!

Time to go Ally, you're useless. Couldn't manage a big chocolate log. Legend as a player but management aren't your game.

R1

Believable20 Unbelievable9

Totally agree - Mccoist is making us a laughing stock - i'm sick of his lack of tactcs, - time for the bears to turn on him and get him out, how long have we got to suffer this dross, - scraping past Peterhead, drawing with Elgin, - i'm worried what a SPL Team will do to us. He has had time FFS, - - i'm hoping CG doesn't give him any more chances, -or money !!!! -

Agree20 Disagree8

I'm afraid he's living off his legend status - I've been to every home game and we are not getting any better, there's no organisation, no defence and piss poor tatics. Sandaza was flicking off balls all day but there is no one anywhere near him to take advantage - one up front against 3rd div teams is shocking and Templeton as man of the match? do me a favour.
I'll be sticking around but I'm not a happy bear.

Ally just go a complete joke I'm not watching anymore of this till he goes. I can't take anymore

Believable22 Unbelievable6

Can't believe some of the stick I heard Ally taking at the game today.

And for all his critics who are saying they won't be back until there's better football on display, fine but I thought football fans were supposed to support their team week in week out no matter what they see on the field.

Agree5 Disagree15

@1 your way out of order to criticise fans if the stay away. The fans have a right to be entertained and there has very little entertainment this season. Despite what you might think there isn't an endless queue of people ready to take the place of fans if they decide to stay away. You can't expect fans to continually turn up if the product is as dreadful as it's been.

Not the rubbish that's on show

Not sure about bringing butcher in i'd go for mcall, but yes allys had his day and he's just not got it

Sorry Ally, but you've not got it!
How much evidence do some fans need before they realise he has not got the tactical know how or inspiration to be a Rangers manager.
He's had plenty time to build a team, this is painful to watch and will drive fans away.

I'm refusing to go watch anymore of this till ally goes I know it's third division and where we are with the players we have got but its the type of football that ally has us playing its pathetic 2 sitting midfielders in this league it's just not on he has had plenty of time to get us playing a better type of football than this we have a big lead in the league and still he carries on with this nonsense I know I'm not the only person sitting in the stands feeling like this I'm il be patient working through these lower leagues and believe me iv tried being patient with ally but it's dross the type of football we are watching

Agree21 Disagree4

Me to mate --- we deserve better than what we have been receiving, -- Ally has had plenty of time - we are a joke now and Ally and his coaching staff don't have a clue what they are doing! - I don't care that we are 20 points a head, I care that the football we are playing is atrocious, - patience has gone full circle with me, no more !!!

Charles Green is writing a book about his time at Rangers, how long has he been here ? less than a year. To me he is just cashing in while his stock is high, most biographies are written at the end of some ones career not at the beginning. Instead of paying traynor to write a novel he should be paying an accountant to write an in depth set of accounts, I am sure that most bears would prefer to read those than any drivel written by traynor.jaz.rtid.

Believable49 Unbelievable4

I'm sure they 'won't' be duped and will part with their money and buy it. It'll be the usual self serving, conflicting, irrational drivel.
My take is that its a threat of blackmail of sorts against everybody they don't like to try and effect some kind of power and control over anyone who might get a mention. Subtle innuendo against walk away players or honest journalists that the fans will read it and not like you.....?

Agree18 Disagree5

I thought Traynor was in the employ of Rangers not Charles Green. It's us fans who are paying Traynor's wages, so how many approve of their money being spent in this way?

Not me anyway.

Agree20 Disagree2

Or it could contain details about how the sfa blackmailed him into accepting an illegal transfer ban?

Agree3 Disagree20

OP, I agree with most of your points, but it is quite common for biographies to be written to cash in on someones popularity before they slip back into oblivion (flash in the pan talent show winners are a prime example).
