Dear oh dear rangers taking into account fan base, stadium, Murray park, history amongst many other factors leave any Edinburgh club in the shadows not to mention the latest score line between the gers and hibs . hibs are bigger. Ppppfffftttt to say the least

26 Jul 2015 21:53:53
hibs are certainly not the wise men from the east easter rd would fit inside murray park they would be better taking the money and that be the end of it and bring someone in decent with the money if it drags on it will unsettle their whole dressing room

Agree1 Disagree3

27 Jul 2015 12:51:55
And crystal palace have no large fan base , very little history in terms of trophies and a tiny stadium compared to Celtic and rangers but could buy both our teams with their tv money , sure hibs are not as big a club as the rangers but unfortunately fan base and stadium size count very little in modern football every premiership team in England dwarf us financially , no matter how big there fan base or stadium is .

One game and your point is?

26 Jul 2015 23:14:21
Give him a chance.needs to settle with defence.give him time before we pelter him.thought he done ok

Agree2 Disagree1

26 Jul 2015 23:42:02
Its only been 1 match,he has a good reputation, commanded his box well and looked to get the ball upfield quick,a couple of poor kicks and a little slow for a shot is fine by me for first game of the seaon with a new club

26 Jul 2015 15:04:39
scott Allan is a decent player, Not the end of the world we don't get him. We need to sort out our defence. They got pulled apart yesterday.

Believable6 Unbelievable8

26 Jul 2015 16:04:15
We need to sign a tough tackling centre mid (eustace type player). Scott allan is a must and we need to get danny wilson on the bench and play macgregor instead. Wilson was awful yesterday but that is because he isn't a good player. I've kept a close eye in him the last couple of years and can't think if a game where I've thought he was a good defender. Hearts fans will back me on this. I hope davie weir can help him and make him a better player but I can't see it.

Agree1 Disagree7

26 Jul 2015 16:14:29
Defence got pulled apart? Behave yourself we conceded a decent strike and a dubious penalty.

26 Jul 2015 17:28:08
I thought murdoch played very well in front of the defence?

Agree1 Disagree7

26 Jul 2015 17:28:43
You two must be the only Rangers fans not happy. Defence could have been better but its only there 2nd game together and we were playing against arguably the best team we will play this season. I will be happy to be pulled apart every week if we win by 4 goals. As for Wilson time will tell but I guess you are the only person who thinks he has never played well

26 Jul 2015 17:02:02
danny wilson a bad player what planet are u on darren macgregor good for 95% game then one big blunder

Agree4 Disagree1

26 Jul 2015 18:16:57
Murdoch done okay just infront of the defence only problem is he's not very big or strong I reckon there's more to his game that playing there could find himself in a more attacking position in the midfield

26 Jul 2015 18:34:10
Murdoch?I must have been watching the wrang game.

26 Jul 2015 20:19:07
BIGWULL,I agree mate.I think Wilson is lacking in physical presence for a centre half, but is young enough to bulk up.McGregor as you say,is guaranteed to balls it up at any given time. He's solid and quick though, but Wilson gets the nod for me.

26 Jul 2015 21:03:18
Is someone at it with Murdoch?or am I missing something the game a saw he didn't play

Agree3 Disagree0

26 Jul 2015 21:38:02
I thought the Murdoch comment was strange as well but I think it was a general statement about how he did last season playing in front of the defence.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Jul 2015 21:43:55
Hibs not at full strength who were they missing? New Signings like bartley and keatings. not our fault they let Craig and Robertson go and now they are going to lose allan.

I didn't say I wasn't happy. Overall delighted with yesterday's performance my only problem is and has been since the start is I personally don't rate danny wilson, I hope he proves me wrong but I don't think he will, I think he is good enough to get us out of this league but not good enough to help us challenge in the spl. Again this is my opinion and ill be the first to hold my hands up when and if I'm proved wrong.

Geis a break!! "Foderingham top flapper" what a pile of p**h, the guy had 2 moments where he hesitated within a new club playing with new players, the guy will go on to be a solid number 1 for years to come! Too many folk not willing to look at positives, anyway I don't think oxley even had the chance to flap whilst 6 wee rattling by him at the other end, hibs competitors!. pah! I shouldn't have thought so! More worried about Dumbarton!!!!

Murdoch comment was in response to: StuartAC about a tough tackling MF lol.

I know he didn't play against Hibs.

First time for long while was smiling and excited for the season watching game. The only weak point seemed through centre at back and keeper trying to pass ball out all the time. Caught out few times. Better teams will identify that and punish mistakes. Right back best player on park by a mile.

The futures bright the futures orange.

Yeah he could have cost us a goal or 2 yesterday and I thought he should have done better with the first goal. However annoyed at Law who just ran alongside Stanton and allowed him to get his shot away. Hopefully we get Allen and he can't take Laws place in the team. Overall a great performance and plenty of encouraging signs for the season ahead

Allan Allan Allan that's all we hear . If he signs on Monday great if not move on and get the lad on a pre contract in 5 months . If we are to bid money I would prefer it on Dallas of Brentford or Jota two cracking hard working attacking footballers who know Warburtons methods .

Believable2 Unbelievable2

26 Jul 2015 09:57:35
Jota would cost millions far too good for the spl never mind championship

I like Dallas as well brilliant finish yesterday against villa in a friendly would be a brilliant signing probably next year for spl

Belfast Bear

I agree mate I think we should leave him on "loan" with Hibs as they are paying all his wages and we will get him for free in January/Summer next year.

Personally I rate McLeod as a better all round player and we may yet get him back on loan and to buy back it is a common thing to happen with Scots in England not settling

If Scott Allan wants to be a rangers player he will be , if not this summer then a pre-contract in January, going by yesterday's game a wouldn't say we are desperate for him, hope he signs though cracking player

Iaino80 if this is aimed at my post I never once complained about a lack of foreign players. I was simply asking a question. I'm delighted to have UK born players in the squad as foreign journeymen often come for a payday and are usually past it. So calm your wee heid down and read a post before u throw the toys out the pram and jump in your high horse.
