For those bears who still talk about 'no pre season' 'lack of resources' Here's a wee programme that shows real lack of resources and the kind of commitment I'm looking for from our players and coaches through difficult times.
Serial tweeters and Nando aficionados take note!

Larky Bear {The Ed039's Note - Larky, his name is Jamie Walker)

Cheers Ed making people up there was told to watch out for him a while back looks a good player supposedly a ST holder at Ibrox. What you think mate I just wish we were looking at some talented Scots rather than Hondurans.

Larky Bear {The Ed039's Note - He is a very good player although I have only seen him a handful of times. The financial problems at Hearts means he is going to be getting game time and I would imagine he is under contract for a while?? Maybe somebody could clear that up)

Raises my point again about a fan of the club or ex player manager really? Come on!

Fellow Bears
I love my club, I attend the games and I read the forums. Whilst I am happy that I still have a club to support I can't shake this niggling feeling that we are being treated like mugs again, purely due to our unwavering loyalty to our club. I commented on an earlier post that I would renew my ST no matter what but I am begining to feel that this may be playing into the hands of Chuck and his cronies. That said, I can't imagine us not renewing and putting our club in jepordy once again. This whole situation is out of order and once again it's left to the ordinary punter to suffer and make difficult decisions.
In many ways I feel just as uncertain about our future now as I did on the 14th of Feb 2012. Bearing in mind my wife is Pompey through and through this last year (3 in her case) has been nothing short of traumatic in our house. So here we all are, on the brink of season ticket renewals again and what's changed? We're approaching the start of a new season and again there is talk of not renewing season tickets. Again we are unsure of where we will be playing next season and who we can sign. Is this really that much different from last year? Chucks media machine would have us believe so but then David Murrays media machine used to be good at that too didn't it. The difference is David Murray was more convincing at this than Chucks clumsy attempts. We are also a far more sceptical and suspicious group after all we've been through. So what's next? to renew or not renew, that is the question. I honestly don't know but what I do know is this. Chuck is another who has seen the potential to leech off of our club and it's supporters. Whether he is capable of making a buck and leaving us in a secure position remains to be seen and if he can do this I won't grudge him a few quid, business is business. What I am sick of is his constant nonsensical claims that make us look like fools.
We have no more control than we ever had and it's time we took some back. Not with mindless anger but with proper, organised demonstration. With calm unwavering demands for the clarity that was promised and has yet to be delivered. Right now we seem to be a support divided and we need to work together for the common good. If there's anyone from the RST reading this you could start by consulting all ST holders instead of pretending your speaking on our behalf!

I won't press any buttons as I'm a tic man. Just thought it was a decent heartfelt post. I have said for ages you fans find yourselves in a desperate situation, damned if you do renew, damned if you don't. No easy answers amigo

Well said mate. I'm a dreaded Celt fan but I feel that CG is using your love for your own club against you. The one asset he has and the only thing that really continued is the supporters. But by grabbing the assets he has you over a barrel and is playing poker that your love for your team will outweigh everything else.

I want you lot back in my life. I want games of football that means something. But I worry that I am more of a Rangers fan than CG. I supported you in Europe despite the slagging I got. (I'm a bigger picture person)

Best of luck for the future. But please find out the facts that you need to know from CG. You have the power for a while at season ticket time.

Oh btw, I am not obsessed. Football without fans is nothing. I am a Scottish football fan. You lot are Rangers and make up about 30% of Scottish football. Whether Rangers OldCo is history, their fans are not.

Great post. I'm a huge Green sceptic myself but if I'm right audited accounts are due in April so we should all know by then if we're being taken for mugs.

Agree7 Disagree1

What uncertainty of division? It's sfldiv2 or in the new third div of 18 if reconstruction goes through. Same uncertainty of all other clubs.
There's no official motion for rangers skipping a division and that wouldn't get on an agenda for voting mate.
What Ally and Green are sounding off about isn't being listened to by anyone.

Agree6 Disagree2

@3: why Laudrup? Surely some experience is needed?

Agree3 Disagree1

Cheers for the response folks. I'm still no clearer but I suppose I'll do what feels right at the time. Also encouraging to see that there are other supporters out there who can see the bigger picture and recognize that there are positives to having us around. We're not all the mindless bigots that the media would have you believe.
@5. I was simply referring to the general feeling of uncertainty which the state of the Scottish game is contributing to. I'm well aware that this affects all supporters of the Scottish game of which we are a part of. My post is simply the feelings of one Rangers supporter seeking the opinion fellow Rangers season ticket holders and although unexpected, I welcome the response from all football supporters; especially those who are able to empathize with the view of an ordinary punter who loves his club.

Very good post B, and heartfelt too, I also worry about what's to come,
i struggle to imagine my club going to the lower reaches of england, we would be lost forever if that were to happen, imagine no european football for ten yrs, if ever, and no cup finals etc, god no thanks, so CG has to be told, stop this nonsense, we are a scottish club, a massive one, and unless we are going to be playing at the top 2 levels of english football then forget about it, because we don't want it, the next few months seem to me as thogh they are going to be critical for Rangers, does CG turn out to be what we need, or a charlatan,? is whyte involved,?why nothing from Murray?, and does ally and walter know more than their saying? and will Bombers warnings come true?, I think most of us know there is still real concerns for Rangers, but money, at the end of the day will be the lifeblood, and that wil only come from fans like you m8, true and faithful fans. and well done to the celtic fan who wishes us well, thank you pal Tommyblue

@5 the fact you have mentioned that there are 2 possible scenarios about what division we will be playing in next season means that there is uncertainty over where we will playing playing next season. Thought that was obvious?

Agree1 Disagree0

@9) there seemed to confusion on what class of player to target for next season. It's obviously league of bottom 18 or SFL div2, so pretty similar. It needs to be a squad that can win div2. That's it no confusion!.

@10- Seems like missing the point dude. The post is not intended as a 'woe is us' post. It is also not intended to be taken so specifically. The post is simply highlighting that in many ways it feels like we are no further forward in terms of clarity, stability and trust that we're moving in the right direction. It would appear you are intent on looking for a specific point of contention when the reality is that there is not one there. The post is about the uncertainty of what to do for the best as a season ticket holder, not about the inability to target specific players or confusion about leagues.
I imagine you're already aware of this though and are simply someone who wants to hang on to the thought that all Rangers supporters want Scottish football to feel sorry for us. Fact is mate, we don't so you're barking up the wrong tree with me and many others. Rangers, Celtic, Dunfermline whoever. We are all football supporters who are at the mercy of the people running our clubs and in many ways I feel lucky. Rangers are a club who have an undeniable global fanbase and are a huge footballing institution. This is the one fact that has provided us a saftey net through our troubles as it did Celtic many years ago. This is because you will always have someone who will want to save us, even if it is just to make a buck in the process. I fear that the same can not be said of all clubs and I genuinly fear for the likes of Dunfermline. Our recent plight has been horrendous as a supporter and I wouldn't wish that on the supporters of any club.
