Cannot believe you bears were gloating at half time. final score 1-4 (could have been 8)
We are only team capable of Treble read this and weep.
You call yourselves supporters yet meekly accepted going out of 3 top cup competitions with a whimper.
Celtic's injury list is horrendous just now but once all are back we will turn things round. Wait untilyour team get injuries we have had, you have been lucky so far but your injuries and suspensios will come in second half and Celtic will get stronger. Hail hail
Gary the Celt

Believable1 Unbelievable8

Our team's had nearly as many injuries as your's you plum. One result and Celtic are great again, lmfao. You are 10 points behind in the only trophy that matters. Jelavic and Lafferty will have a field day against that defence at the midden. Remind me what you have actually won in the last 3 seasons? Thats right, absolutely nothing of importance. How do you like them onions Gary The Celt? I think you will be the one weeping come the end of the season, AGAIN LOL. WATP

Gerry The Ger.

Agree4 Disagree0

You get a victory in a diddy cup then you's start coming out the woodwork. Oh you are making me itchy. Rangers have had injurys, suspensions. You are bang on we are out of 3 cups. But can still do the double. That's our aim now.
In ally we trust

Tee hee

Agree3 Disagree0

God all Septic fans are sad last week they were shouting for lemons head now they beat hibs 4-1 the world is wonderfull again ... get a life .WATP.

Agree3 Disagree0

Ha ha!.. is that the best you've got, willing injuries on us. You've got a short memory Gary. Can you not remember the injuries to some of our top performers over the past 3 seasons. Did it stop us winning the title? did it f***, and that was when you boys were actually playing pretty well. Now you've got defenders all over the place and you've still got a manager who thinks Samaras is a player!?!? Whoop whoop! 4IAR Nae borra!

Kisses xx

Baybear

Agree2 Disagree0

Bayber and all other bears, ha ha you all bit anyway LOL Gary the Celt
ps come 28 December watch Hooper and Stokes tear your defence apart, revenge is best served cold, in December our team wil be hot, hot hot. 5-0 Celtic at least hail hail Gary the Celt

Agree0 Disagree3

Haha Gary the Celt tryin to say my fellow bears "bit". Sorry mate but you came on here and posted nonsense, and in doing so were shot down bigtime! That doesn't mean they bit it just means your full of it! GCUK

Nice try Gary son, nice try :-)
Come back after xmas for a wee bit of banter and we'll wish your new manager aw ra best.

Sweet dreams

Baybear

Agree0 Disagree0

Hooper and who? oh aye..Stokes! the forgotton man of Old Firm games. Come on now Gary, you know as well as I do that he'll not get the nod over the bas***d child of Ronaldinho and Jesus of Nazereth. Wee gengarbaws is determined to convince that that fud's a striker.

Away back to yer scratcher and keep dreaming

GERman

Agree0 Disagree0

Me thinks Gary is forgetting that they should n't be in Europe either! They've been relying on charity to look good but have are still failing even with their second chance. Fail! Fail! Keep up the good work as you watch the league slip away...again!
Nick 1872

Agree0 Disagree0

What injuries apart from Izzaguire and Brown?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hibs could have been 4 goals up at half time- 3 times the 3rd choice at newcastle saved them, that defence is absolutely shocking - big jella will run riot and show captain free transfer magoo up for what he really is - an Aberdeen reject

Agree1 Disagree0

Lafferty missed the first month of the season and pre-season, papac has missed a fair amount of time, naismith was banned for a couple of games, Wallace was out for a while there as was Weir and Bartley is STILL out. They're all either first team or would make the bench. It's undisputable that we've had our injuries. In fact, for AT LEAST two weeks we had AT LEAST 15 players out. How anyone can say we've not had our injures is beyond me... although it's understandable where tunnel visioned, ignorant and rangers-obsessed celtic fans are concerned. Muzz

Agree1 Disagree0

Celtic have been terrible in most games in the first half so in the next old firm in December we take advantage from that and get 2 or 3 goals in the first half then we will win at the next old firm Celtic were lucky the night there not gonna win evreytime there 1-0 down cmon the gers

Agree1 Disagree0

Maybe still in the cup but 10 points behind in the only trophy that actually matters. God we will massacre that defence in the next OF game.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree1 Disagree0

Fair play, it was still a quality chuckle watching Big Fanny Masterbates blundering around in defence for you lot. Thing is, you drop him and aw the rest are just as p1sh..lmfao! Cannae wait til the 28th of December to watch Jela and Naisy tear that defence to pieces. No doubt the ginger troll will go with Freddie Mercury up front too just to complete your comedy line-up! I just can't get enough, I just can't get enough!

Just heard on the News that Gattuso has lost the sight in one eye due to some accident

Believable0 Unbelievable0

25 Oct 2011 18:29:56
The 33-year-old has already been out of action for more than a month after being substituted during his side's Serie A opener against Lazio on 9th September.

He had to be replaced after colliding with team-mate Alessandro Nesta and was later diagnosed with sixth nerve palsy, a disorder associated with the dysfunction of the cranial nerve that controls eye movement.

"That (collision) was not the cause of my problem, but it was an incident that helped me discover I had one," Gattuso said in a press conference.

"The 20 minutes I played against Lazio were a nightmare.

"I felt drunk. I could see (AC Milan team-mate) Zlatan Ibrahimovic in four different positions."

The 2006 World Cup winner, who has been at Milan since 1999, is set to miss most of the rest of the season as he will not be able to undergo an operation for another four months.

"In 25 per cent of cases the palsy of the sixth optic nerve occurs for unknown reasons," explained Milan's chief medical officer Rodolfo Tavana. "Often this kind of problem clears up by itself in a period of two to six months."

Gattuso is determined to overcome the biggest battle in his career.

"Football is my life," he said. "I'm a lucky man.

Seriously scared

"Three weeks ago doctors told me there was a chance I might never play again, but now they are saying that is not the case and I will fight hard to return.

"For a while I was seriously scared about my health and worried for my life, but now I have undergone several tests I'm calmer.

"It'll take more than this to beat me. The important thing is to not give up.

"I feel an important part of the dressing room here. I feel respected after playing here for so long.

"My team-mates know I'm full of enthusiasm, so age is certainly not a problem. As long as the enthusiasm is there, I can keep playing.

"I hope you will see me back on the football pitch."

The former Rangers midfielder hopes his condition, which has affected his daily life, will improve.

"Before I had triple vision, now I see double," he said. "There has been some improvement.

"I can train, but I can't play because I can't see well enough.

"Right now I can't send an email, I can't watch TV, I can't drive and it's tough not to be able to take my children to school.

"I will need to wait another four months before an operation can take place to resolve everything.

"The important thing is to get back to normal life and to come out of this stronger than ever."

Get well soon wee man. Rino Rino Rino.

Marks info is from phil the blogger who is claiming a new scoop, he is now investigating us and the SFA with regard to our eligibility to Play in Europe whilst owing tax. For those that don't know phil, he also claims dallasgate, famine song and our tax problems as other scoops. In April last year he blogged how he spoke to Bain on the 15th of may (date is relevant) and scooped the figure of 24m tax possibly owed by us  to HRMC from him. He claimed then and still does that this was the first time this was in the mainstream media, a scoop, his words. Phil also broke this exclusive in the now discredited and defunct NOTW in May 2010.  A search on google tells us that Roddy Forsyth wrote about our tax problems in the Telegraph on the 27th April 2010, as did Darrell king in more detail on that same day but the award of scoop goes to Chris Watt of the Herald who wrote on the 28th of April 2010

  CHRIS WATT

Rangers’ £30 million debt could be almost doubled by a tax investigation that has led to fears the cash-strapped club may now be unsellable, The Herald can reveal.

The Ibrox side faces a backdated tax bill after an HM Revenue & Customs probe into the way it paid certain high-profile players over the past decade.

Rangers may be forced to pay as much as £24m – potentially with legal costs on top – if HMRC finds fault with a scheme that saw the club paying players through an overseas trust fund.

To all you tic fans who drool and revel in exclusives this was long before the rebel journalist wrote his exclusive, it's not exclusive or a scoop when you rewrite news a week  later. Source phils April blog 2011 and Glasgow herald.
Nice try Mark but suggest you stick to real journalists for factual content and info

Believable1 Unbelievable0

If you read the Blog and look at the regulations for obtaining a licence to play in uefa competitions It certainly raises the question of whether or not Rangers were eligible to obtain one. I would also point out that whilst some of his blogs are questionable others have been proven in the course of time, in particular his blog regarding Tax officials serving papers for the 2.8M tax bill. Rangers denied this was going to happen but It did and his photographer was there to capture the moment. Its easy to discredit people however Its people like him that investigate these stories and without them life would be a lot less interesting.

Mark67

Agree0 Disagree0

Lmao, Mark it is he who claims he is an investigative journalist, maybe he should have investigated further before making his claim, the other journalist might think so. You are to used to being second mate and thinking it's a victory. FYI he also might be in breach of the NUJ's code of conduct section 12, a bit embarrassing as he claims to be an official.

On 23 September 2011, the following story was on the STV website:-

'Neil Lennon would not swap Rangers lofty league position for the variety of competitions that Celtic are still involved in.

Rangers are currently four points ahead of Celtic in the league after a 4-2 win in the Old Firm match last weekend. However, Rangers have been knocked out of European competition and were eliminated from the League Cup by Falkirk this week.

The Celtic manager insists that he would rather maintain challenges on all fronts than hold a lead over his rivals at this early stage.

"It's difficult to say," said the Celtic manager. "I would rather be in front in the league and four points is four points.

"It is too early to say what position in comparison we are to Rangers, all I know is that we have got important league games coming up before the international break and we would like to win them all."

When asked if he would swap positions with Rangers the Celtic manager was unequivocal: "No - because we are in Europe and all the (domestic) competitions, and that's where you want to be at the minute.'

Following their poor European results and if the Hibees win tonight. They will only have the Scottish Cup to play for.

I think that Neil should have swapped places with us. The increase in the points difference from 4 to 10 in a month shows how bad they have been recently.

Just gloating.

Mark, it would be the SFA who got into trouble, not Rangers. Therefore, you better hope there's no drama's or you's could be blocked from competiting in Europe as well! lol

It could well be the SFA that get into trouble, but that would depend on the info they were given by Rangers. Also It was one of your own that brought the subject up to which I responded. Your response shows more about your lack of intelligence than it does mine.

Mark67

Agree0 Disagree2

The reason I posted it is I'm just letting Rangers fans know what could have happened. Mark67 who was it that granted the licence to play in Europe this season? If Rangers have all the tax issues with HMRC sorted out by the time the European competitions start next season they won't be a problem. It is the £2.8 tax case that would have got UEFA thinking. But you could say if Rangers got through to the champions league group stages well Craig Whyte would have paid it plus the £1.4m fine. But it's all ifs and buts. I just thought some Rangers fans would have been interested.

I would accept that but they still competed in Uefa competitions this year with the Tax liability outstanding. When the Licence was granted they owed the taxman so under the rules set out by uefa should not have been given one. There has been a similar scenario in the Hungarian League and the club was banned for 3 years from Uefa competitions.

Mark67

Rangers got issued with the papers on the 1st September so by my calculations Rangers were out of Europe at that time so it doesn't matter lol. It's good to have banter lol. Mark what do you think the score will be tonight?

If you have a look on the Celts page you'll see there's discontent with Neil Lennon and the players at the moment. We have concerns over team selection, the players performance levels, unrest in the dressing room, 10 points behind your lot, etc. These issues are being discussed, so you're wrong to say we are turning a blind eye to our league position.

However there's nothing better than coming on here and discussing your plight, as you do with us on the Celts page. Tony, followfollow, gerry the ger and others are regular posters so don't give us all this tosh about us being more obsessed with the G@rs.

I, for one, will continue to give you it tight because I love winding you lot up, it's so easy! You lot are the ones in denial and reluctant to broach the subject of tax evasion and I know why. You know the severity of this tax case and you're absolutely terrified, yes HMRC lost the case against Dextra in the courts, however the House of Lords ruled in favour of HMRC, so Rangers can go down the route of precedence but they'll still lose.

Yes, both clubs have problems, Celtic's being on the park and Rangers' being off it, you have a new owner who you know nothing about and that annoys you, whilst assets will be sold for nominal fees, come January. Your wage bill is too high, assets have been frozen, the stadium is falling apart, you're out of domestic and European cup competitions.

And you lot have now replaced our mantle as the 'Paranoia Brigade' what with you going on about the BBC having an agenda against your club? Haha, why would they? Ask yourself that, it's absolute tosh and you can boycott the station if you like, do you think you'll get an apology from the BBC - no chance!

Will CW sue the broadcasting station? Of course he won't, it wouldn't be in his best interests to do so for obvious reasons!

I am one bluenose you will NEVER wind up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ther is no case of tax evasion mate, tax avoidance is a seperate charge entirely with a good chance of only having to pay a nominal fee to satisfy hmrc, we'll just have to wait and see.ps would you not rather win the league without your great rivals having a 10 point deduction. ibrox K

These payments were "wages", which are taxable in this country in case you weren't aware. Ed, do you disagree with this? Do you accept these payments were part wages/earnings?

I think they were and so do HMRC, funnily enough.

Miko {Ed001's Note - I really couldn't care less what HMRC has to say, they left a loophole which was exploited, now they want paying back money that went while a loophole was open. Most people would just close the loophole and carry on.}

Good morning fellow bears.
OMG here we go again, the tic have nothing better to do than to try and wind up the Rangers faithful. Well come on boys lets not let the mindless rantings from the dark side get to us, this is not the first time the tax man has tried to claw back cash and failed, I reckon the mighty Glasgow Rangers or is it Glasgow Rangers Football Club Limited or even Glasgow Rangers Limited! Whatever we will win this case just as we are going to win the league and lay waste to all in our path, in the wee mans regime we trust, this is a whole new episode, its great watching my beloved Rangers doing what they do best and enjoying doing it, destroying the opposition, so come on get a grip.

It's all playing into the Sceptic hands, they should be on there own sites ranting and demanding change, however they are still spouting there trust in the wee green man, (leprechauns) leadership, haw! haw!. The last thing they want to talk about is their teams current league position and the complete and utter lack of anything resembling a decent football team, so cheer up shamrock green, we ur sh*** football team. Things can only get better!!!!!

Its great being a bear.

Well boys, some of you seem to have sucked up the mince spouted by a certain teams supporters about our certain demise.
NO ONE knows what will happen NO ONE. Least of all HMRC as they have tried to take similar cases twice against other companies and failed. If I were a betting man I would happily place a few quid on Rangers still being here next season and the next....
Instead of discussing names of some post administration team, why not wait till after the case and enjoy our team playing and winning week after week??
It's all playing into the Celtic supporters hands. The last thing they want to talk about is their teams current league position and the complete and utter lack of leadership that their very poor first team are being offered.
To be honest thats their problem and if they (ie. the ones on here with the wooden spoons) were real Celtic supporters then they would be on their own sites demanding change.

The race to 55 titles!

I for one believe even if we have to start again from scratch we will still beat Celtic to 55 titles!

What a load of rubbish on here right now! Why are we bringing players on trial if we are days away from closer. Keep on dreaming Celtic fans, we could play a reserve team and still win this league! Celtic don't have the bottle to win the league thats why it's going to be 4, 5, 6 maybe even 10 in a row this time bhoys!

Okay fellow Bears, I'm just thinking worst case scenario here. If we lose everything, the name, the trophies, the history, everything, then what is the point in putting a club back into the Scottish game? Surely that would be our chance to apply for a place in the English lower leagues? Thats the only thing I'd swap 115 trophies for. I dont think I could stomach starting from scratch in Scottish football.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

A club cant lose it history that the one thing no 1 can take way many team have changed there names ok the clubs at the time did not have the history that rangers have now but it has happend befour man u Arsenal to name but a few ps not sayin that i would like this to happin just letting you know the facts

Agree1 Disagree1

The facts would be that we have no trophies and that we were founded in 2011. Its all very well coming out with philosophical quotes but on paper we'll have nothing.

Agree0 Disagree1

If rangers or celtic get in to epl in any way that would happend maybe not with the European cups not 100% sure on that one but it will reset all demestic cups so wots ur point ?

Agree1 Disagree0

My point is if we're starting from scratch lets not do it in Scotland.

Agree1 Disagree0

Ahh ok bro get u now yeah that would be s**t dont see it happing tho tbh if we stay in spl evey think will be the same me thinks :) just wana add m8 i wasint having ago just wanting to know what u was gettin at :)

Agree0 Disagree0

No problem. ;-)
I hope everything does remain the same but I'm trying to explore every avenue this road could go down. I cant just accept we're going to win the case, I need to know the things that could happen if we lose. Apparently its a 50/50 case so we should be talking about these things.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed tho i do think we will win as rangers trust was fine 1 day then the next it wasint and we were told it was getting backdated when we started it we were told by them bk then it was not agenst any law but now it is and there are backdating surly they cant win or there will be a lot of clubs going down the same street as use any way am off to bed m8
