Can I as an outsider looking in ask what has really changed in this current board's thinking from any of the others.
Mr Wallace blames previous regime for investing too much in players in a lower league, but apparently he is planning to do the self same thing and sanction the manager to sign more new players.
Mr Wallace is planning to make some staff redundant yet they are paying for THREE "consultants" to deal with press issues.
Himself and others are still planning to accept all bonuses coming their way, when not taking said bonuses and not paying inflated fees of these consultants would probably pay next years wages of the poor redundant staff.
In my eyes nothing has changed, the fat cats getting fatter and the rest can like it or lump it.

Nothing

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, unfortunately that is true. No longer are we between a rock and a hard place, we are between a rock and a precipice.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing has changed. They have the fans over a barrel and it will take something major to turn things around. I am not convinced that administration will clear out the ' landlords' either. Where does SDM come into all this? Not hearing much from/ about him.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2 nice bit of wordsmithing billyb. I would have a chuckle it it wasn't so accurate and serious.

Like many bears I sat for 129 days and waited patiently for the big review, what a complete let down. A 21 year old accountant could have produced the same conclusions in 10 days. Our football club is being treated like a racehorse syndicate only this little exclusive group gets a guaranteed payout every year when season ticket renewal comes along. I honestly hoped Mr Wallace was the right man but after this shambolic exercise it is plain he is only another puppet for the unknowns. It feels as if we will need to gather forces and completely boycott this regime and force their hand financially, I know it is a really dangerous road to go down but if we don't push we are going to be dragged along on false promises for years to come. I am an extremely tolerant individual but enough is enough, the time for serious action is now.

Like above - I have been waiting in hope for Wallace to come good with a well constructed and detailed plan for taking the club forward. Sadly it appears that he is also a stooge for a particular group or has been left with such a shambles that he is out of his depth. Perhaps he still could have been the CEO of choice with the correct people behind him, however he has been tainted and soured and I can't see him ever being trusted any longer.

Like many, I don't see a happy outcome for us by the time the saga ends. I would simply ask that our fans pay at the gate for any future fixtures - its your money - look after it. I don't think our board or any hair brained scheme will do that for you. It also means you are still fully backing the team - and that is the one thing we all want to do. even if the worst case scenario plays out.

Keep the faith - just don't be mugged off.

Agree0 Disagree0

"Done nothing wrong" what are you talking about man! The present board have bled the club of 70 million pounds, graham Wallace has been found out, telling lies about the finances and refusing to discuss his bonus! Oh and then there's Brian stockbridges bonus, apparently paid back yet as pointed out in another post missing from the accounts. More lies! And then there's the shambles with season tickets and the finance package for supporters, was that another lie? Or did he forget to tell us in January and now they want cash! Not a chance, no come back and they can all walk with their bags full of our cash!

Agree0 Disagree0

Blue Teddy what are you on? "Done nothing wrong"

Some fans still don't get it or refuse to admit what is going on within our club. We are being bled dry by this board and others in the background pulling the strings while honest staff are about to lose their jobs.

Waken up now before it is too late

Wullie 1972

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry blue teddy but I have to agree with PB1 and Wullie. We were told by this board in December there was enough money to see us through until the end of the season and that they had investors lined up- two large untruths there for a kick off. Mr Wallace's cracker which he is now under-fire for (and rightly so) that the suspension of the credit card/ debit card facility was because of the fans boycott threat. This facility was actually taken away as the "operator" of their credit sales wanted security in bricks and mortar because of the state of the finances weeks before any boycott was mooted. If you add to that the Easdales would ask how high? if Charlie boy told them to jump.
Oh yeah and in spite of this they are all going to pay themselves bonuses.
I've been self employed for the last 20 years but in the olden days people only received bonuses if their work merited the extra dosh.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Actually he had squandered a 15 point lead before admin kicked in

Agree0 Disagree0

Well to get that 15 point lead, that celtic had two games in hand, 9 point lead in the first place, with a good football team shows something?

Am hungover bring on the haters!

Agree0 Disagree0

No haters John, probably just jealous that you enjoyed a good bucket yesterday. Probably one of the few ways to escape our current predicament.

I've been following this panto for months now Bears and like most if us it was funny to start with, bit about a year ago it stopped being funny. I think whatever you guys do you are royally shafted, the spivs will have their pond of flesh, either thru your cash or selling Ibrox. I just can't see how you can get out if it. The only way I can think is don't pay up - let it all fall apart like the house of cards it is and start again properly, with no Sally or journeymen. The danger in this is you will probably loose Ibrox - but as painful as that is would that not be preferable? A fresh start, new blood and with your fan base a new stadium (in time- look at parkhead). If you don't think radical and strategic like this you are just heading for extinction. They are sucking the money and will out of you. Sod them bears! I tell you what all scottish fans would embrace a new rangers - ditch the Neanderthals and the spivs, play the long game (ffs not literally any more) and come out with your heads held high.
Only my 2 pence, I hate to see a fellow scot being shafted, even a Bear.
Hail hail. Joe

Believable0 Unbelievable0

the only way out of our predicament is to trust our chairman. And before you all come on calling me all sorts, how much do you think it will cost to buy land and then build a 50,000 or 40,000 or 30,000 seater stadium?

Agree0 Disagree0

Jyf - parkhead took about 40 million. Even allowing for 20million to buy a chunk of derelict land you would still have 7 million left from what has been robbed since the flotation.

Agree0 Disagree0

We could ask gcc for the land for free or on the never never if its good for the goose
