Bears I heard Murty is working hard with Morelos to get him hitting the target again, apparently Morelos now has THREE BARN DOORS across the pitch to aim at lol.

27 Nov 2017 19:35:25
hes sending him across the city for diving lessons

27 Nov 2017 20:08:28
Are you recycling your own patter now Tim? 😕

27 Nov 2017 20:18:56
aye if that's the best you can come up with tim you are better just not bothering.

28 Nov 2017 10:32:59
Sporting integrity Tim. Are you handing the cup back after your player cheated and conned the ref on Sunday?

I think if RES11 gets through the next mgr will be in pretty quick, it all hinges on RES11 which will allow the club to raise cash. No point on trying to get a manager when we don't know our budget. All we can do is prepare a list of candidates.

Pedro gone to soon. No. The board had made their mind up long before and pulled the trigger when he couldn't argue. Imagine the board wanted rid of him but thought let's wait till the agm or the xmas break, but what would they do if Pedro put a string of results together then he would be there till next Summer. In hindsight the board were sitting waiting on their chance.

Short term manager ie till next summer, not a good idea, as Souness said the players have too much power. If the squad don't like the short term a manager they just wait it out and know he will be gone soon. We need someone on a long contact so the manger can reverse that mind game.

As for some support that are already claiming they won't renew season tickets or may stop going to games etc then fair enough its a free country but let me make it very clear, you are not and never will be Rangers class. Go and heat a seat at Motherwell.

27 Nov 2017 18:18:16
TJBB you may have a point in your res11 point we will hopefully find out on Thursday but as a shareholder I think it will pass now that Ashley’s shares are now in the hands of club72 now regarding renewing season tickets I’ve been a season ticket holder for nearly forty years I’ve followed Home and away I’ve traveled across Europe I’ve seen this club through good times and bad I’ve sat inside Ibrox with less than ten thousand in it I’m heading toward three score years and ten and yes I’m beginning to wander if I can go through another season but don’t give me this I’m not Rangers class

27 Nov 2017 19:01:14
Hi thinkabout it. that's fair enough you've certainly earned your right to vote with your feet however IMO its supporters like yourself that are the back bone of this club and we need true supporters to show the youngsters how its done, without you and your like the club would certainly be heading for the unimaginable. let's all stick together good and bad. i'm just a frustrated supporter like the rest and apologize for any offence. i'm approaching the half century myself and IMO its what's makes the Rangers supporters different from the rest, we just don't give up, never, not in a million years. Its not in our makeup.

27 Nov 2017 19:27:40
I know come renewal day my heart will probably over rule my head but this board must not take the support for granted any more if it’s about waiting on investment the fans will accept it but to just say nothing encourages rumours which will grow arms and legs I think Murty has been hung out to dry can you imagine if we loose on Wed nine points behind Aberdeen going to pittodrie at weekend then the board better wear hard hats

28 Nov 2017 00:25:29
Single fish. Still need investors.

28 Nov 2017 06:30:09
Klinsmann?

28 Nov 2017 06:55:30
Think REV 11 will be passed next hurdle getting a Nomad. Doubt anyone will touch us.

28 Nov 2017 12:11:21
TJBB, I don't think res 11 will have the immediate effect you imply. Won't it take a while to get any money in from the passing of res 11? Sure the passing of it will give the club a boost and some optimism, but you can't pay a manager or sign players with boosts and optimism. Maybe the first steps toward a future cash injection would give the board confidence to push the boat out financially in the hope that they bring in as much money as they hope. However, I'm not convinced that the failure to appoint a manager is entirely related to res 11.

27 Nov 2017 17:53:25
just reading the posts on here and find it strange the amount of times the disagree button gets ticked when someone makes a reasonable comment, if jose mourhino was appointed it would amaze you how any numpties would still hit the disagree button

27 Nov 2017 19:03:25
Trueblue, do you realise how many Celtic fans have a profile on this page and visit daily? There was even a hearts fan on here triying to rip me the other day 😂.

Only show in town ma man. Even in the nick we are in 👍🏼

27 Nov 2017 20:19:13
bearmode i was beginning to wonder if they were all mhank supportes

27 Nov 2017 17:17:25
Be prepared for the worst on Thursday . not good.

27 Nov 2017 17:46:12
statement like that you must be bricking yourself

27 Nov 2017 16:53:37
What has happened to Jordan Rossiter? Is he injured again? If he is it's got to be time to consider letting him go, he hasn't done a thing for Rangers.

27 Nov 2017 18:56:57
The Andy Caroll/ Michael Owen of Scottish Football. The new Daniel Prodan. Waste of a jersey. Permanently injured. Need to get this guy offloaded as quickly as possible. Taking a good wage under false pretences.

28 Nov 2017 03:31:10
I remember the press reporting he signed a contract worth 10k a week as well. Enough to gee ye the boak man. That’s just got Rangers written all over it.

27 Nov 2017 16:05:56
Just a stab in the dark folks but do you think it might be possible a new manager gets announced at the next agm or is that not the done thing

27 Nov 2017 15:40:47
I think rangers are waiting to see what happens at this next meeting I reckon before they jump in for a manager when they could possibly get a higher class manager in if they get some new investers.

27 Nov 2017 14:37:49
Development squad win 3-2 vs Benfica Development. At least we are wining at some level😂

Get some of the boys in the squad😂.

27 Nov 2017 13:39:40
Big eck just denied any contact

27 Nov 2017 13:26:36
MY Criteria for applicants

1) They can get average players to play out of their skin.
2) They know how to win games regardless of how ugly it is.
3) They are ambitious to still wanna win the league this year. (aim high and see where that gets us)
4) Most importantly. understands and can get the message across that the board DIDN'T save the club really. it was all those fans travelling to the depths of football hell to keep this club alive! (Cause if they weren't packing stadiums in the lower leagues it would have no value what so ever! )
5) They can win games regardless of how ulgly it is (twice important)

27 Nov 2017 14:20:20
Tony Pulis fits the bill for that criteria joelifish.

27 Nov 2017 15:38:44
Travelling fans made no difference when the board at the time made every decision to the detriment of the club! ie, sports direct retail agreement, selling naming rights to ibrox for £1, the list goes on.

28 Nov 2017 00:15:07
Joelifish. . some lovely demands there big yin. and who do u propose who fits that bill? And at the wages we will pay? . or as I would imagine. you haven't got a clue.

27 Nov 2017 12:06:58
We don’t need to be competing with Celtic squad wise straight away we need to build a good team that can beat the rest of Scotland get a manger that knows the league to take us to this point if he can’t take us any further get a better quality manager, the money and time we’ve wasted from day one has been a joke and still. Dave King might want to step aside he is dragging us down hearts and hub have had much more success

27 Nov 2017 12:14:04
I've been telling my son that for the last two years, when we're good enough to beat every other team in the league, then the old firm games take care of themselves, that's what the club should be aiming at, but at the moment we're a long way short of that position!

27 Nov 2017 09:39:10
Do you know what bothers me most about how the team are playing. it's the amount of money spent to put them together. my God Aberdeen or hibs could only dream of spending 10ml on players. for me that's the biggest concern. we keep wasting our season ticket money on bang av players.

27 Nov 2017 11:39:10
the thing is, it's possible the managers we've had are just rubbish, a different manager might get a better work rate and application from the squad. that said, they do look rank rotten.

27 Nov 2017 03:55:52
It needs to be De Boer. He represents the past and the future. The past being that he knows what it takes to play for Rangers. By no means is he a true blue of the sort, but he knows what it means to play for Rangers. And the future being his modern playing philosophies and attack-minded football.

27 Nov 2017 04:36:33
How long will he be given to implement his philosophy? It's needing an old school baw chewer, forget fancy tactics and pretty football let's just start winning games!

27 Nov 2017 05:59:41
Exactly Jzer, i think if i hear anymore crap abt philosiphys i’ll chew my own baws off

27 Nov 2017 08:26:43
50,000 people every second week don’t give you time to develop a team. Whoever comes in needs to hit ground running even though it’s clear they have an inferior squad to them. If they don't then every 12 months will be like ground hog day.

27 Nov 2017 08:33:19
If the board are waiting till after agm to get funding in place then my bet on next rangers manager would be on one of these out of deboer gio postecoglou as all will want funds to strengthen the team significantly.

27 Nov 2017 11:39:05
Blue Nose - - we all know there isn't 50,000 every week, maybe 40k and dropping, how much longer will the loyal fans keep this up?
I think some people go just because they've paid their money up front, its not to have an enjoyable 90 mins every other week!

27 Nov 2017 11:40:24
I think we need someone to sort them out. De boer plays too much tika taka nonsense for us.

27 Nov 2017 12:52:44
bil72 you are right if season tickets were renewed today you'd be lucky to sell 15-20 thousand I've been a supporter for over 35 years I've seen them through the good times and bad I've seen less than ten thousand at games and I get that same feeling now fans have had enough I spoke to my two friends who have attended games with me and sat beside me all those years none of us are sure if we will renew so if people like us who have followed the team home away all over Europe have had their fill we are in trouble the board I'll be thankful they got us out of the clutches of the charlatans who occupied the boardroom but since then it's not moved forward it's been over four weeks and still no manager Murty has been hung out to dry not one peep from the board when you stand outside Ibrox its like looking at the Kremlin full of secrets well someone needs to take responsibility for the hiring of our last two managers I really fear for the club think of this if we were to loose on Wed wed be nine points behind Aberdeen going to Pittodrie where I wouldn't fancy this team getting anything so could be twelve points adrift we are fighting to stay top six on the budget we have it's an outrage I will be attending the AGM on Thursday the board better have their hard hats on as this will be a fiery meeting sorry for long winded rant but I'm a passionate supporter of this club and it hurts me to see the state we are in

27 Nov 2017 12:56:51
Rangers philosophy has never been fancy football, its 11 big tough men who don't give up and never stop fighting, we are a watered down version of what we used to be. Our identity is lost and it will take a past manager or player to get it back, that's why mcleish and wee barry are going to get it.

27 Nov 2017 13:10:37
BIG SAM

27 Nov 2017 13:32:26
DOIGER what bit do supporters not get we have no money Big Sam would want a big wage ( preferably handed over in a buff envelope in a hotel room ) a big transfer budget we have neither none of the names will take the job they would need to have the money to challenge Celtic or their reputation as a manager would be damaged and we will struggle to sign any decent players as we don't have the money or again no player will want to be out on that park getting abuse from the terraces when they can't challenge Celtic

27 Nov 2017 14:41:41
We need somebody like Smith or McLeish who will not be afraid to grab players by the scruff of the neck and boot baws. We need to be hard to beat first and foremost. All good teams are built from the back. If we can get the defensive side sorted the rest will come. Players like Alves should be one of the first on the team sheet. And wingbacks need to be able to defend first and foremost. I"m convinced we have the bones of a decent team. We need the organisation of a tried and trusted manager. No more trialists.

27 Nov 2017 16:14:10
Fod - 100% correct. Get Big Eck and Barry back and stop the messing about.
