Use our rumours form to send us rangers transfer rumours.

28 Feb 2018 15:56:13
Next to no chance of retaining Goss, I think realistically we could go for Davis or Arfield on a free and let Docherty feed off their experience. Am I the only bear worrying how Dorrans and Jack are going to slot on when fit? Wallace is in the same boat. I'm glad Murty is picking players on form, I just think we are top heavy on mid fielders and little room for the youngsters breaking through. same old story.

28 Feb 2018 16:54:08
I think ryan jack will go in alongside greg docherty if sean goss goes back to QPR (really hope not)! Ross mccrorie will more than likely go back to his natural centre half position and although if he can't immediately get back in the starting eleven, he can without doubt, cover both the centre half and holding midfielder positions!

28 Feb 2018 17:16:13
What about Charlie Adam if Goss goes? . Play him in the centre to kick Browns bawz

28 Feb 2018 18:00:43
Goss only has 2 year left on his contract and next to no premier league / championship / Europen experience, I’m sure he’ll go for under £2m which would be a bargain. I think QPR already know their in a negotiation hence their press statements regarding the transfer. I can see one of two things happen, 1. We get him for c. £2m or he extends his contract and we get him on loan next season.

28 Feb 2018 18:49:09
Feel we've a gem if our own in jamie barjonas, rate this guy highly! As previously posted I'd love Goss permanently but we have a plethora of midfielders are good ones at that things are looking good

28 Feb 2018 19:22:45
spot on supercoop

i wonder how dorrans will slot back in and more importantly what happens if morelos is sold in summer will cummings sign perm?

28 Feb 2018 19:23:33
McRorie is no good at centre half but can do well in front of the defence

28 Feb 2018 19:24:59
Can’t believe you’ve mentioned Adam and Goss even in the same sentence 🤦‍♂️😂😂

28 Feb 2018 19:35:35
Dorrans to come back as well lads. Remember before he was hacked down he was assisting and scoring goals in a disfuctionak Pedro team!

I think Dorrans will be brilliant under Murty.

28 Feb 2018 20:51:12
DEEB, ross mccrorie is a centre half first and foremost mate! that's his natural position and he's a good young centre half, with a turn of pace into the bargain! I prefer him there, although he can play in front of the defence in the diamond!

28 Feb 2018 21:09:00
I’ve always seen Dorrans as an attacking mid, he is a 15-20 goals a season player when fully fit, I’d alternate him and Windass and get back up for Murphy and candeias in the summer

28 Feb 2018 21:28:34
Agree BearMide91, think getting Dorrans back in the first team squad will make it significantly stronger. See he is back in training and hopefully we will see him return soon.

28 Feb 2018 22:00:36
Goss won't extend his contract with qpr, why would he? They left him to pretty much rot. We came in and gave him the chance and the belief to prove himself at a massive club. He is now struting his stuff infront of 50k, and looks as though he is loving it. European football next season, he has the bite and I have no doubt that if we were to agree a fee with qpr that he would sign for us in a heartbeat. With every penny of profit from the retail deal coming our way from the end of the season then there will be a little bit of extra cash coming into the club. A permanent deal is very much possible.

28 Feb 2018 23:34:23
Hope you are right Coldo. I'd love to see him stay for the long haul

01 Mar 2018 10:16:54
Declan john was a loan and he got the bite, could have made a fortune in the championship but where else would you want to go after playing at ibrox. John said himself that he did not hesitate to sign a permanent deal. Goss would sign in a heartbeat.

01 Mar 2018 10:25:06
supercooper

I like McCrorie but he is often out of position when played at CH and struggles to run with the forward.
He is a completely different player in front of the defence; I guess Murty things the same

01 Mar 2018 12:34:52
McCrorie was forced into dm position because of injuries to dorrans and jack being suspended then injured. He is a good centre half who will only get better. I'd have him over Martin or Bates anyday

01 Mar 2018 12:34:59
What was ross mccrorie's original position DEEB? He's a very good young centre half with pace which is a superb asset for a centre half!

01 Mar 2018 12:45:34
Agree 100% supercoopereleven

28 Feb 2018 14:48:03
Think MOH should be a start now against Falkirk, we need to give him March time in the off chance he needs to replace Murphy for the OF. Murty needs to consider giving the likes of Miller, Alves, Cummings, Alnwick, Herrera a chance. We can't afford any more injuries going into the title decider! :)

28 Feb 2018 15:06:48
Can't risk going out of the cup either. Our best chance of silverware. We are still in with an outside chance for the league but can't be changing the entire team. Alnwick will start as he has with all cup games he has been fit for. May see morelos and Cummings up top but I don't see too many changes other than that

28 Feb 2018 15:49:33
Fair one mate, I just had my Football Manager hat on and you can’t really take 6/ 7 first teamers out in real life and expect the others to slot in!

28 Feb 2018 16:24:41
I expect he will change things around a little but there is a full week between falkirk and old firm so won't be drastic changes

28 Feb 2018 16:40:39
We should play same team as last night with exception of Murphy who should be rested to give him chance of making the Celtic game. Would play Dodoo against Falkirk as replacement for Murphy.

28 Feb 2018 17:05:37
I’d bring in 2 and go with a diamond, Cummings in for Murphy, holt for candeias. Same as last night for the old firm unless Wallace can replace Halliday

28 Feb 2018 18:33:32
Herrera? You're not serious?

28 Feb 2018 18:58:15
I'd keep the pretty much the same team boys are on a high and growing game on game! I'd give Kenny 2nd half if possible might need to turn to him on old firm day!

28 Feb 2018 12:25:39
Celtic fans are currently trying to find out who is in charge of the snow and if he/ she is a Rangers fan, protestant, free mason or part of the illuminati

🔴⚪🔵.

28 Feb 2018 13:16:50
Hahaha they are some crew!

28 Feb 2018 14:41:03
Even God is winding them up with that pesky Sectarian, Bigoted snow that only postpones Celtic games! 😂😂

28 Feb 2018 16:47:04
A guy at my work was disgusted that we played on Tuesday and they play on Wednesday, putting pressure on them to win and when I pointed out it was because they played on Sunday he said " exactly, yooz won on a Saturday putting the pressure on us to beat Aberdeen " so I had to point out the fact that they played on Thursday night, you couldn't make it up.

28 Feb 2018 18:10:06
I'd give up jyf. I blame the schools

28 Feb 2018 18:19:57
Maybe the next thing they shall question is why there is only 7 days in a week as yet again it's a conspiracy lol

28 Feb 2018 22:03:17
Jyf don't waste your breathe mate, there was a few on here last week claiming that a draw was a point gained and not 2 points dropped. As seeker said, definitely the schools 👍

01 Mar 2018 08:54:05
How do you think his wife feels? 😩

28 Feb 2018 11:32:12
Again was stirring pot a bit, but you mentioned the word player which IMO wallace ain't but not much gets past him either and that I like.

28 Feb 2018 12:22:12
He backs off a player far too much and constantly gets turned inside out. I've hardly ever seen him make the tackle you're alluding to. If John's a better footballer I'll go with that.

28 Feb 2018 13:12:13
As long as one of them is available I'm happy. Would hate to go into the Celtic game with Halliday at LB

28 Feb 2018 10:05:04
You guys should watch Rangers second goal vs St. Johnstone if not already seen, the build up play was fantastic, the goal itself was kind of easy, but the movement and passing was Barcelona like. if that was Messi and Rakatic it would get big reviews.

28 Feb 2018 10:25:43
The final pass from big Doc into Windass was sublime. This game with the Tim can't come quick enough. Feel a wee draw coming their way tonight.

28 Feb 2018 10:27:54
Games off. Maybe no then lol. Still suits us tho 🔴⚪🔵

28 Feb 2018 10:40:17
It was a terrific team goal dave king! Superb intricate passing throughout the move for our 2nd goal last night!

28 Feb 2018 10:54:51
And I can't see it being rescheduled before old firm game so the gap could be down to 3 points if we beat them which I'm increasingly confident we will do.

28 Feb 2018 11:44:23
Need Murphy back for them lads!

Pray for Jamie's toe.

28 Feb 2018 12:53:48
thats lustig now banned from OF game as thier game off tonight candyman would have run rings tound him

28 Feb 2018 14:47:39
Candyman will be busy bossing Tierney again, Blueblood. If we're missing Murphy and they're missing Lustig, I don't know who will be up against who down that flank (our left, their right) .

28 Feb 2018 15:06:53
Murphy will play against them but feel lustig will play and his red will be applied to the rescheduled Dundee game

28 Feb 2018 19:11:05
cant see it bear82 rules are rules and its the next playable game

28 Feb 2018 19:12:30
can see murty putting JW on the left and cummings in the 10 role

01 Mar 2018 01:08:45
blueblood, against Celtic?

I hope not, Cummings is never a number 10. I don’t think there’s any chance he will start the Old Firm. He will come off the bench depending on how the game goes.

28 Feb 2018 09:49:17
All Premiership games due to be played tonight have been called off so that means Septic remain only 6 points ahead. I know they will still have that game in hand but the old adage I think is true; better to have points in the bag than games in hand. If we beat them a week on Sunday the gap will be down to 3 points. We then have Kilmarnock at home while the manky mob are away to Motherwell. Could be level on points after that. Interesting!

28 Feb 2018 09:56:39
1 game at time would be my mantra, keep winning, keep piling on the pressure, interesting to see Brendan Rodgers effectively diminish his own achievement of the domestic invincible abyss saying all the other teams have been on holiday for a year and a half, bit of mind games there I think, strong team against Falkirk and another big win would be just the ticket!

28 Feb 2018 10:03:26
A like the ambition, looking ahead instead of behind us now. Team is really gelling now. Beat talking on Sat and that's 6 wins on the spin heading into old firm.

28 Feb 2018 10:09:29
Can you imagine the arse falling out of this Celtic team just like the Liverpool team did under Rodgers. Scott Brown slip against the famous blue would be wonderful.

28 Feb 2018 10:11:14
Apparently Morton are the form team in the championship just now as well. The mhanks will probably need to put out the first team to win.

28 Feb 2018 08:15:36
So Mark Allen had an informal chat with Graham Potter in Manchester just before Christmas exploring the possibility of becoming the new Ranger manager. Both men felt the meeting went well but neither party wishing to take it any further. It appears Potter is putting himself in the shop window by meeting a number of English clubs while his stock is high following the Europa League run. Anyway, it's Murtys job to lose now.

28 Feb 2018 10:23:11
We will never know how good Murty can actually be unless we give him the chance. He has us playing football which is breath taking at times. He is only going to get better.

28 Feb 2018 10:24:54
These kind of chats happen daily. If Murty continues as he is then he will be offered a rolling contract.

28 Feb 2018 08:10:51
Three great goals last night and why wasn't the St. Johnstone goalkeeper given a red card for his tackle on Morelos? Referees must come down on the dreadful, clogging tackles that most teams are making, hence Murphy's injury now. I guess the 'establishment' would like to see us kicked out of any chance of winning the league. Maybe Neil McCann's team can do us a favour tonight and grab a point of the manky mob. I also fancy Motherwell to beat the Sheep.

28 Feb 2018 08:22:43
The refereeing again last night was absolutely shocking.

28 Feb 2018 08:30:34
I don't fancy Dundee to take anything off Celtic but I can see Aberdeen dropping points at Motherwell

28 Feb 2018 08:37:34
Is the Murphy injury a bad one, that would be a blow as he’s been terrific since coming in and will only really be at top match sharpness now! Also it’s one of the positions that we don’t have a natural back up, I’d hate to see windass move out wide again!

28 Feb 2018 09:01:07
Referee standards have been horrendous for most teams.

Celtic have had it stinking yous lot and hibs as well. Poor decisions mostly but some of the challenges are mental

No wonder lenny lost it at the weekend.

28 Feb 2018 09:37:47
Correct me if I'm wrong but the gk should not have been sent of as per the rules. I'm sure the rules where changed this season stating if a penalty is awarded then the last man or fouling player can only be red carded. Seen a few occasions in the epl where the commentators have had to correct the pundits.

28 Feb 2018 10:36:25
Morelos had a goal wrongly chopped off when bates got fouled in there box atleast a penalty to us instead they got the foul and they should have got a red when there player kicked out at bates. Thankfully it didn't matter but these kind of decisions have hurt us this season

28 Feb 2018 14:05:33
New rules re GKs to stop a triple punishment ie mand down, goal down and suspension. If the ref deems the GK made a genuine attempt to play the ball then it's a yellow. Which I think was fair enough last night.

28 Feb 2018 18:17:21
Didn't know that parky. Makes sense tbh

28 Feb 2018 08:10:51
Was very impressed with Doherty last night reminded me of a young Ian Ferguson in the middle of park an unbelievable bit of business for 650 grand 👍🏼 Goss was immense as well McCorie, Jack and Dorrans have a fight in their hands to get back in the team.

28 Feb 2018 08:42:57
Like many on here I now see McCrorie moving back to CB, Jack for me is back up if we manage to keep Goss next season and Dorrans is far better suited to the no.10 role that a Windass is playing just now. Competition for places and options will be key to mounting a serious challenge next season and Celtic definitely won’t get away with dropping as many points as they have this season. Could be interesting! I’m not giving up this season either, if we win every game we’ll win it, but it’s a tall order, would love us to beat them and they drop another 2 before the split, can you imagine?

28 Feb 2018 09:09:48
Totally respect everyone's opinion on here as this is what makes this a superb facility, to air all our conflicting opinions! JGG1,thinks greg docherty is a similar styled midfielder, to a young ian ferguson and that's fair enough! Like i've said on here before, i see shades of our former captain steven davis, in young greg docherty! Either way doc is an absolute snip of a signing, at 600k! I've always liked the look of docherty for well over a year now! He'll be a great signing for us!

28 Feb 2018 09:12:54
I realistically think winning the title this year is out of our reach but again you never now and we should stay positive about the situation! The pleasing factor for me mate is our club is moving in the right direction with hopefully a bit of investment coming in we can add a few quality additions in the summer in key areas. Keeping Morelos and signing Goss is in my opinion.

28 Feb 2018 01:49:04
Gotta be honest, as good as John is, would prefer a fit again, hard as nails wallace anytime against unclean. It's not football players we need at the back against them.

28 Feb 2018 10:21:45
Nonsense mate, john is twice the player wallace is. John running at them will cause them problems.

28 Feb 2018 10:22:49
sorry MBW I don't agree,

wallace has been fairly poor last 12-18 months. despite his height rarely ever wins defensive headers, quite often we would loose goals down our left side and he’s also beset by injuries recently

john for me has been a revelation. he is quicker and for me a better footballer fitting perfectly into our new 1 touch pass and go overlapping fullbacks on both flanks which has meant we are now free scoring. you only need to look
at halliday or hodson in at LB to see how important john is to our team

just my opinion
