Some of the nonsense being spouted on here about Morelos is just shocking. The guy gives 100% all the time and just because he wasn't happy about being hooked against Aberdeen doesn't make him spoiled or anything else. he's a 21 year old lad from a different continent who is the countrys leading goalscorer in his 1st season with us. What more do you people want? It makes my blood boil that all some people want to do is criticise all the time. Get behind the team and enjoy the ride of getting our club back to its rightful place.

Yes it’s important to remember that this lad is a £1M signing which these days is not a lot, a fee which I have no doubt we make a tidy profit on one day as well as benefiting from his goals in the meantime. Hopefully he will get even better service with the signings we have made and he can kick on again in the coming months!

Congratulations to Cumdog for scoring his first Rangers goal. I can see this lad going on to be a goal machine. He must have a case for starting now and it may well help Morelos to have a bit of push in behind. It's almost good to be a bear again. Best fans in the world.

Yes, can see a bright future for him at Rangers, some players just fit don’t they? I don’t think it’s any coincidence that the fans that spilt onto the park today were celebrating his goal, we identify with him and that brings out more emotion in the moment! They guy has a personality too which endears him to us as much as it riles opposition fans!

I've said it before but if his head was straight we'd be mad not to sign him but his current situation and his potential wages are too big a gamble for us just now. Plus as Mikeger was eluding too I think he has a previous relationship with Rodgers that would make Celtic a more likely destination.

Morelos did have a poor game today but some of the reponses are way OTT " he's a young lad still learning our language and IMO having a great debut season "" more experienced player's have came n gone because the RANGERS jersey was to big for them '' also most forwards r sometimes selfish n and around the box ohh and people talking about his reaction to being subbed against sheep 'do you not think it could have been being angry n frustrated with himself for missing a couple of great chances he knew could have done better ?

Morelos was poor by his standards today but he worked hard enough nonetheless. In Cummings interview afterwards he says he’s still chasing match fitness and that he was blowing a bit at the end so I think it will be a few weeks before we see him starting games! It’s feels bloody good to have someone to turn to when Morelos isn’t firing though and who knows Jason Cummings might turn out to be our talisman in the coming seasons.
I thought Goss looked good first half and Candeias was busy again. The three points were the main thing today and we will need to be better against Hibs on Saturday, I’d go with a strong team against Fraserburgh on Wednesday as we are now gaining momentum, Moan the Gers!

Morelos doesn’t look sharp! That wee 3 yard burst of pace has gone. I’m not criticising him but he doesn’t look 100% fit or happy in his play. Time will tell if can cope with the pressure of another striker putting pressure on him.

I agree that we should cut him a bit of slack. He's only 21, having arrived from Finland he didn't have a summer break like most players, I've never been to Finland but prior to that at least he was living in a very different climate/ culture, and he won't be used to the media spotlight. He clearly gets frustrated with himself which I'm sure most 21 yr olds can relate to (I realise some of you might have to dig quite deep in the memory bank for that), and I would also say it's very harsh to judge his effort or commitment. There's nothing wrong with having ambition and he is fully aware that he has to work hard to get where he wants to go. His tweet before the game today translated roughly to 'you have to work hard to be the best but never think you are the best' or something to that effect. Cummings arrival as well as keeping him on his toes may take some of the pressure off him. Also in terms of his demeanour he looks like a buffalo chewing a wasp at the best of times but that's just what the poor laddies coupin is like!

morelos is a decent player he misses as much chances he converts but he's young and making mistakes is the best form of learning people should take it easy. we are in a better place with real hope let's not get caught up with the negative that is now behind us. Murty is the right man and we have a good squad now.

For arguments sake. We take between 7-10 million for Morelos in the summer and replace him with Cummings at 600k. That for me would be an excellent bit of business. At times Morelos looks like a spoilt kid and un interested. Has obviously done well since signing but if we were to get a good offer in the summer I'd gladly drive him to his new club.

That doesn't mean we're suddenly crap again. Just the same as we didn't become sh*thot just because we beat the sheep. We're a work in progress

If morelos is not intrested like mentioned above then he woukdnt be in the team and we certainly will not acheive top money sitting him on the bench just look across the city swapping and changing strikers doesn't always pay off and can unsettle them
morelos deserves his postion in the team just now and even cummings said that in his post match interview

Frustrated in his own performance maybe but spoilt kid, not for me. How many older more experienced players have we seen getting the hook and showing displeasure because they know they can do better. In that list there will be some massive names in terms of world football.
Freddo is not the finished article and could be worth a few quid if we develop him in the right way. So let's get behind the kid and show him why we're the best club and best supporters in the world.

£7m - £10m? I think we need to take a reality check, Morelos has some potential but he’s not been tested at any reasonable level to merit such a price tag. At the moment the best we could hope for is £3m with a 10% - 15% sell on fee. I suspect he’s too small for the EPL however I’m sure he’d do well in the championship (especially when you compare him to Waghorn) . Hopefully he gets some game time in Europe next season, depending how he performs will determine if we can demand a higher price in the future.

Listen it's just my opinion. Every time I see him, when he misses a chance or doesn't get a pass or a break of the ball his head goes down. Took the huff the against Aberdeen when subbed. In all fairness handled it well today. Was talking hypothetically about 7-10m but why shouldn't we aim high for our players. We are getting quoted silly money for Kilmarnock players. Dembelle has kicked his own backside in 10months and Celtic still want 20+mill for him.

Good result. Plenty positives. Thought that morelos was poor and i am still not convinced that windass is rangers class. Thought he was anonymous today. Think that morelos would benefit from having cummings up beside him .
Bates is distribution at timez is really poor. twice recentlyhe haz nearly given away penalties by handballs
BUT 7 playerz out injured. Optimism a plenty.

Maybe Morelos is getting a wee bit above his station. Decent player with great potential. Apparently saying he wants to leave for the english premiership is ambitious but in my opinion is a bit previous. My advice is enjoy your experience at Rangers and savour it as the grass isn't always greener.

Morelos seemed to be a bit greedy today but I've noticed that with some Latin America players that come to Europe mabey he's starting to feel a bit of heat with some competition for his starting berth in the team especially with Cummings well taken goal today. Think this is exactly what we needed quality competition for a place in the team to make everyone work harder and give that extra 20%.

He offered nothing today. Awful performance looked total disinterested. In the 15 minutes Cummings was on he done more than Morelos did in 75. Cummings need to play from the start on Wednesday

Most goalscorers are greedy. Just like Cummings today, could have passed but took the gamble and it paid off.
The Hibs game at Easter Road, Morelos making it 2-1. It’s a right angle and other players would have probably tried to pass it into the mixer where it’s packed with oppositions players, but Morelos shot and it paid off. Top goal scorer in the league, so at the moment it’s paying off be greedy.
Though Morelos and Windass were a bit off the pace today but Celtic were honking vs Patrick Thistle and were applauded for ‘battling’ to win the game etc. I’m happy with the win, wasn’t out best performance in the second half, we began to flap in the last 5 mins, did the same against the sheep on Wed.
Onwards and upwards.

Windass looks a bit out of breath at times
Candieas again having not a bad game so far
Defending a bit rocky at times so far in first half can't help think if it was a superior team we were playing we would be in trouble at times - pitch not doing us favours either though ball bobbling all over the place
Or sure why morelos was freaking out being substituted the other night with the amount of sitters he can miss
If he gets subbed today again definitely don't want to see that side - can see the point if he scoring hat rocks but he's not
Anyway again just my opinion guys
Hope we can get a few more goals on this game.

Have to disagree. Totally dominating the game. Need another goal but a few would be better. Great to hear the troops in full voice and backing the whole team, even the players who split opinion. The way it should be. Some folk are never happy 😃

I agree with that no player should be happy getting taken off but when yr luck is not there give someone else a go Cummings what a goal 2 mins on the pitch and bang goal absolutely brilliant feels so good to have our team back - you will also see from my previous post no the back I said murty should be given the chance and now he has he's grabbing it with both hands of be happy if gets the job for the next few years at least and I don't think I'm jumping the gun he will learn through every game and get better as a coach

Until Rangers tell us the true story, we'll never know. Warburton spent the best part of a year quoting 'he's 10 days away from fitness'. Pedro said nothing and Murty is evasive talking about loading and pressure of expectations. Truth is we don't know what the problem is and it'll remain like that for the rest of his contract.
