Is the game tomorrow on Rangers TV.

28 Jul 2018 18:46:32
Yes Rangers v Wigan will be shown on Rangers TV.

28 Jul 2018 20:16:36
Cheers Goalie.

29 Jul 2018 00:16:28
I wouldn't say I was a lee Wallace fan but nobody can deny the man stuck by the club through our darkest days yet I'm seeing posts to swap him for a guy who couldn't leave fast enough. I hope Lafferty doesn't come back to us main reason don't think he's the answer.

29 Jul 2018 01:18:59
Jaws, if Wallace is surplus to requirements and Lafferty is as much as our budget allows then i see this as a positive move.

28 Jul 2018 18:12:49
Is game on Premier sport on Thursday? I thought both legs were getting screened but it is saying its the hibs game. Any idea what's getting shown?

28 Jul 2018 18:40:24
I would doubt it very much they'll show the home leg. Rangers Tv will though.

28 Jul 2018 19:53:58
Possible that one of the broadcasters will pick up the game once it’s sold out, as with Shkupi. Can’t imagine it won’t be on the tele with the demand from Celtic supporters to watch it 😁.

28 Jul 2018 23:56:32
Sheep on btsport smell. tic premier 2 hibs premier sports think only gers tv the game is on.

New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Just seen this haha quality

29 Jul 2018 15:33:30
Did you see Brenda seen in gay bar? Is that timophobic?

28 Jul 2018 15:28:53
I don't want to sound negative here but we would be absolute mugs to think we are thru yet against Osijek

We defended superbly for most of the game and we were more clinical with a few chances and taking our goal

I am still a tad apprehensive going forward we don't create enough chances

Are we lacking a creative player here perhaps? If so, are we still looking at a possible 3 more players yet?

Another centre back a creative player and a striker?

28 Jul 2018 15:42:20
Who thinks we are through yet?

I have to say I have not read a single comment anywhere saying anything of the sort?

28 Jul 2018 15:50:21
Just because you don't see it on here it doesn't mean people aren't thinking it Its far from over this tie but we can take lots of positives from it but let's get this one over the line

Don't get hard titties Birdswing83.

28 Jul 2018 17:30:36
There is still the 2nd leg to play against a very good team.
What I would say that we have to nullify the threat of Barisic on the left.
Probably would opt to play Candieas on the right instead of Murphy.

28 Jul 2018 20:19:35
Yeah because Candeias is good at nullifying the threat from the left just ask Kieran Tierney.

28 Jul 2018 20:21:17
We've got every reason to be confident about going though. A cracking result in Croatia and now at Ibrox we don't need to chase the game at all which should hopefully create a more comfortable playing environment for the players. All the pressure is on the Croats to get a result so hopefully they'll open up and be susceptible to the counter. An early goal for us and it's game over.

28 Jul 2018 21:51:03
Candeias the nullifier omg.

28 Jul 2018 13:21:14
osijek player saying we were lucky. they had more shots, corners etc. so they clearly were the better team. fact is we had more goals and won the game and they keep going on about beating psv. this and that we beat sporting lisbon, lyon, bremen, fiorintina doesn't mean nothing now. we will beat osijek and put them in their place next week, am sure of it.

28 Jul 2018 16:22:22
I hope so they had a really good midfielder that left back is also decent and there winger kept going and never let the head go down there weak point was there striker.

28 Jul 2018 19:09:59
They are a decent outfit and will be tough to shut out but I have a growing confidence in our defence and think we can knock one on the break. We just need to get through by any means, hopefully get a look at big Sadiq at some point!

28 Jul 2018 19:11:56
I would be happy with a draw but I am quite sure most on here wouldnr.

28 Jul 2018 19:12:06
Agreed STB72 hopefully this is a market we will be keeping a keen eye on in the future.

New image uploaded to the
Rangers Player Sightings page entitled, Props to Stevie G for signing this at 3am. My 6 year old was excited when he saw it!

28 Jul 2018 12:28:56
Is Garner still with Ipswich? If so, why doesn't SG go after him and get him back. He might revel alongside Morelos plus the midfield service he'd get now?

28 Jul 2018 13:04:36
Between this and your constant push of Hardie, fancy joining my fantasy football league mate? With your taste in players would be easy money 😂.

28 Jul 2018 13:59:27
New topic. What would be your 1st team made up of former flops? DOIGER Utd.

28 Jul 2018 15:48:28
Doiger no just no! done nothing first time too unreliable.

28 Jul 2018 19:51:57
lol

dont post here regularly but read every morning and between doigers crazy posts which leave me wondering what players he actually watche at home games however the prized one of the lot is supercoopereleven with his miraculous predictions ( i'm sure 1 was actually correct and what a ticket he turned out to be ) poll after poll and his latest one, despite many of us reading the site for years claiming he always rated waghorn as a top player.

no wonder the other mob ( of which my best friend is one and continually laughs at most on here ) extracts the urine from me every chance possible when you read some of the posts.

interestingly one poster i noticed, kev iirc posted honestly about thursday nights game and was absolutely shot down despite putting across some very valid points and asking some serious question. still all is fine yet another rat is coming home to earn some more of the blue pound despite jumping ship to line his own pockets.

oh how we have fallen and being frank its embaressing to see the majority of our support welcome these guys home with open arms.

28 Jul 2018 20:34:50
Given the English market it would cost about five million to sign garner.

29 Jul 2018 01:41:35
Garner? You having a laugh. He didn't set the Heather on fire last. Hard man, no skill or temperament whatsoever.

29 Jul 2018 08:43:36
Yeah, my dream front three would be Garner, Waghorn and Hardie lol. This site is called Rangers 'Banter', defined in the dictionary as 'Good-humoured, playful, or teasing conversation'. Calm down everyone.

29 Jul 2018 15:31:36
I’d take him back before Lafferty however with the market in England, the fact that he done well last season and the Waghorn transfer value to consider he’s probably a £15m player now 😂😂 in all honestly, we can’t afford anymore transfer fees!

28 Jul 2018 11:54:38
Does anyone think there would be fresh investment if we made it into the Europa League group stages?

An extra 8 games 720mins and potentially far travelled games.

We're all in agreement that stopping 10 in a row is priority.

Surely we would need an extra 3-4 players of good quality to come in so we are able to play European and domestic football comfortably.

28 Jul 2018 12:36:33
Der-goalie-1 I don't think there is any harm in trying to get a good run in Europa for the Club getting more notice on the continent and for the fans As these guys including myself have waited a long time for to be where we should

However, like you pointed out we are going to have a good depth of players of a decent quality to be able to focus on both the Europa and the league so it will cost to assemble enough players to do it

Many people may see it as a distraction I can kind of see why given 90% is domestic. I don't however We need the revenue we also want the co-efficiency to improve for Scotland as a whole which in turns brings better quality of player to our league alongside a better position to qualify proper for those competitions, whether it be Champions League or Europa League

Remember shirts sales are to come and if the Hummel deal is every bit as good as I heard 50/ 50 and a 5m deal over 3 year then this could only be good for our club.

28 Jul 2018 12:38:03
Sorry that was meant to be 10m over 3 seasons the Hummel deal at 50/ 50 Sales.

28 Jul 2018 15:28:28
No Stopping 8 in a row is my priority.

28 Jul 2018 16:35:17
mjg1067 Rangers improving and becoming stronger and doing well in every competition is my priority, nothing else.

28 Jul 2018 17:46:38
I think before we go about the big money from Hummel we should be worrying about how we are going to sell the kit!
Going into a new season and you can’t even buy it!

28 Jul 2018 11:45:02
For all those who doubt kyle lafferty just have a look at the day we wrapped up the league within 7 mins at killie, big man was class. He knows what it's like to win trophies at this club and the standards expected. I seem to remember him always popping up with important goals and if he sticks one in at the tattie dome in September he'll be a hero, i'd just have him back for the song lol.

28 Jul 2018 12:08:32
i was there that day Perth - what a day!

we were sitting 2 rows from front &’laff nearly jumped over us celebrating 1st goal

i’ve still got bruises on my shins from the bouncy that day.

28 Jul 2018 13:02:06
What a day that was, 💙⚽️❤️.

28 Jul 2018 14:41:15
The problem with that. 3 seasons in a row. the last 3 games of the season he turned it on mizt notibly hibs united and kille away. Rest of season he was garbage.

29 Jul 2018 00:54:32
I agree always seemed to come good end of season but can't be worse than last year.

28 Jul 2018 10:48:01
Why are people getting excited about lafferty coming back for me i would be very disappointed if he's the striker to fill our number 9 shirt! Yes he had a good season last year but surely we must be aiming for better especially when we have sadiq who is very similar.

28 Jul 2018 11:57:17
Hes a big daft boy that we can use as a battering ram for our spl defenders should have got him last yr for foc.

Waghorn going for 8m our club is getting mismanaged from above.

28 Jul 2018 12:09:07
I liked waghorn punter with the better of quality we have now round about he would have been very useful to have.

28 Jul 2018 12:37:06
Waghorn is not worth 8mil! that's just the over priced english market. No club in their right mind would have gave us 2mil for waghorn nevermind 8mil. that's the english market proving its fecked up. People need to understand this.

28 Jul 2018 13:05:44
Dead on coldo mate.

28 Jul 2018 14:59:42
We did sell him into that English market tho so no way should he have been let go for 200 grand.

28 Jul 2018 19:24:30
Punter are you trying to tell us you were not one ifvthe near enough 100% that said they would drive waggy diwn to Ipswich for 250 grand? Because I think that’s whatever paid for him? So it was us the support that wanted rid. waggy and joe were rank towards the tail end of season. Pedro gave him a shot but because of his past injury or what he wasn’t cutting it and people assumed he couldn’t cut it in our top league. so please stop blaming the board for everything from no tomato sauce for your broxi burger to The grass at ibrox being too green . please please . I am not saying I don’t respect your opinion am just pleading with uze to reign it in.

28 Jul 2018 09:50:33
With regards to the Lafferty deal, we all know what we will be getting and what to expect. Therefore there is no risk at all. I have been skeptical in the past when we have been linked with him, but I am warming to the idea that it might be a good signing!

28 Jul 2018 10:59:01
I think the jury's still out on the merits of a Lafferty return. Would any one of our three main rivals bid for him? I think not. Yeah we know what we're getting and he's not a bad player but our ambitions should be higher and I doubt he'd be happy as a bench player. Makes some sense but I hoped for better.

28 Jul 2018 12:22:44
Why does Waghorn going for 8m Mena that out club is being mismanaged from above He was stinking in the EPL So he had to move on

He had a decent season with a smaller club with less pressure in the Championship and he is now worth 8m (in which we will receive close to 1m for him)

Unfortunately, this is the going rates down south Sky do lucrative deals meanwhike get pittance from Sky and this is what it results in a decent season and all of a sudden stupid money or over the odds in transfer fees

The players will also see it as a big opportunity in the Championship to prove to themselves and no doubt Waghorn fancied himself to do well and he succeeded

At Ipswitch there is no pressure their goal is to stay in the Championship Nothing more.

28 Jul 2018 20:00:00
Kazmania82

wasting your time explaining this to anyone. the ones with sense agree with what you say the rest, well you have seen what's been said.

28 Jul 2018 09:42:06
Stevie Gerrard "Lets Go"

Scott Broon "LEGO".

28 Jul 2018 09:27:54
It is funny to see a certain club in the SPL complain about not getting enough away tickets to Ibrox.

It is the clubs perogative to do what they like with allocations but for a certain club who trash talks Ibrox constantly, trash talks the club and even attempts to refer to the club as a ‘new club with no history’ to complain that it takes away from ‘the status of the game as a sporting occasion’ is pitiful.

One minute the club are ‘dead’ the next Aberdeen are the second best club in Scotland but now Rangers are ‘ruining the status of a great sporting occasion’. Which one is it? They seem to want it both ways.

28 Jul 2018 10:01:38
"The Glasgow Derby" is what they've been calling it now.

28 Jul 2018 11:13:46
And going by their logic, the old firm died in 1994!

28 Jul 2018 11:26:14
I campaigned long and weary to get their allocation to be cut because the demand from Rangers fans for tickets was so great I couldn't understand why we gave them a whole stand at our expense, that said 800 is on the low side. The thing is there is nothing to stop them from giving us our full allocation which would uphold ‘the status of the game as a sporting occasion’ for at least two games a season but have chosen to be childish and cut our tickets to 800. What they are actually saying is "we would rather sell tickets to Rangers fans at our own expense" where we are now saying "we will sell tickets to Rangers fans at their expense".

28 Jul 2018 09:23:58
Just saying but what makes anyone think we won't go for Moult aswell as Lafferty? Both won't cost much both would jump at the chance.

28 Jul 2018 13:55:50
Maybe because Moult is nowhere near good enough and wouldn't jump at the chance as he said he left Motherwell to 'go home'?

28 Jul 2018 08:49:09
I think we should swap Wallace and or Halliday for Lafferty and go for Moult. I would also take the man city boy on loan to prove fitness. That for me would be the transfer window complete. Remember John Hartson failing our medical and we all know how that panned out.

28 Jul 2018 14:40:20
Its ok saying let's swap but Hearts probably don’t want either of them. Hearts will hold out for the price they want like they did with Jamie Walker.

Review Of The Day 28th July 2018

28 Jul 2018 06:50:16
{Ed's Note - Ed001 has posted a new article entitled, Review Of The Day 28th July 2018

28 Jul 2018 06:25:26
Ive just read Hearts have put a £750,000 price on Lafferty. I would not give Hearts that figure. i'd offer Wallace or another player who is surplus to requirements. Or give Hearts hee haw and go for Moult.

28 Jul 2018 07:31:10
Agree with you goalie. Wouldn't give hearts anywhere near 750k, for kyle lafferty! If it was a straight cash deal, taking into account, that lafferty has only 1 year remaining on his contract, i'd offer 500k tops!
The other scenario would be 300k + lee hodson or possibly a straight swap deal with lee wallace!

28 Jul 2018 08:04:46
Straight swap with fabio cardoso more like.

28 Jul 2018 08:26:53
Does anyone know if Hearts want Wallace? Why would a club take a player who hasn’t played for nearly a year?

28 Jul 2018 01:01:41
Lafferty for me is a no brainer. Forget the past if you can. he's getting paid peanuts (in relative terms) at Hearts. Can, has and will score goals. Right Rangers man. Forgive and forget.

28 Jul 2018 00:52:55
New poster here. love to read the posts and just wanted to share. just watched Paul Gascoigne- The Rangers years again on YouTube. What a great reminder of who we were, who we are and who we will be again! Amazing to think of the quality we had then. Gazza, , Laudrup etc.

28 Jul 2018 00:35:00
Kean Bryan has failed his medical. would still sign him for the sake of having Brooke Vincent in the stands.

28 Jul 2018 10:02:34
Brooke Vincent is bang average.

28 Jul 2018 14:37:48
Just googled her **** shes no my cuppa tea but still wouldn't say no.

29 Jul 2018 11:43:39
Am sure she would say yes however mike . NOT🤗.
