Mbappe is being shown interest from real Madrid subject of a 109 m bid that's crazy money I know this isn't rangers related but where has all the sense gone in the world?

28 May 2017 22:05:20
Just wait until Dembele goes for £150m.

29 May 2017 21:15:11
Who care's

28 May 2017 18:36:00
What would you guys think of Alex Bruce at rangers he's been released at hull and Michael kightly decent freebies.

28 May 2017 21:12:13
Wouldn't touch Bruce, uve seen him have games were he makes Keirnan look like Beckenbauer

29 May 2017 11:18:58
Who the hell us Alex Bruce? Any relation to robert?

29 May 2017 14:22:05
Fd I don't know his family tree but be sure to look into it for us

28 May 2017 17:58:05
Good to see that we are putting a team out in the Hong Kong soccer sevens competition again; the young lads got put out by Leicester in the semi finals after topping their group.

Leicester won the competition.

I agree Rafbob and great see a couple of the boys that had first team game time at end of season participating.

30 May 2017 02:19:06
A pish poor centre back from Hull, only thing that probably links this to us is because he's from northern Ireland

PC needs to get all his new signings spot on and they need to hit the ground running. I just hope he gets the financial backing to bring in the players he wants and needs. Warburton was a spectactular failure. Every player he signed was a failure. It takes a special type of player to succeed in a rangers jersey. None of warburtons duds even went close and it will be a nightmare to move them on. There won't be much interest for any of them.

28 May 2017 21:52:36
My theory is that a lot of these players we signed (Warburton in particular) ply their trade in England knowing it's at a high standard with which comes an i'm a billy big bollox status amongst themselves, they hear Rangers are in for them and think 2 things,1: The standard of football in Scotland is rank so I can go earn a nice bit of money whilst actually running the show more times than not
2:They know Rangers are a big club, but because of the standard of football plus lack o any kind of coverage of Scottish football in England they just don't understand just HOW BIG we r . Once they step out the tunnel at Ibrox and it begins to sink in just how big we r and what is actually expected of them they freeze and realise just how much they have underestimated the whole situation, Harry Forrester for example has never despite the standard in eEngland played for a club say even that is an eighth the size of ours, he must be walkin around thinkin he's had his drink spiked for 18months!, just my theory I might be wrong but surely it's feasible

So fod an tav are failures are they. open your eyes

29 May 2017 03:25:30
God needs to learn to command his box

Tavernier is one of the worst defenders I've seen at the club. He has cost us so many goals in the last 2 seasons and his scoring ability spectacularly crashed last season. I would say overall he has been a failure at right back and needs to go

28 May 2017 13:44:21
We won't get Naismith wages will be to much and for the 13 milliIon king has promised get that out your heads to start with if any transfer fees are to happen it won't be near the million mark. King has gave us stability he isn't giving us his millions tho. The manky mob will strengthen while we get the scraps of free transfers and could have been players.

28 May 2017 14:20:18
If he's as desperate as everybody makes out then wages shouldn't be an issue?

28 May 2017 15:02:00
Hardly think so, looks like we're buying 2 Mexicans for starters.

28 May 2017 15:53:05
His wages will be less than bartons so that's not a problem hopefully

29 May 2017 15:57:18
£13m is not only for Fees it's the budget for Fees and wages. I'd imagine the players we are looking at will be offered £10k to £15k per year that's £500k to £750k in wages for a single season. £6-8m will be what we can afford in fees plus salarys with a couple on loan who may command a loan fee.
If we manage to get a few of the books depending on if we get a fee or need to pay some off will obviously affect our budget.

28 May 2017 11:15:02
Ed how about a Poll.
Question: How much will Pedro spend before the start of Season?
(a) 4-6m
(b) 6-8m
(c) 8-10m
(d) More

After all the sneering about out finances and what our future Transfers were going to entail, to read about the Pena deal near enough over the line for a supposed Fee of just over 3m, made me think with a smile. Something that I had not fone in a while and I'm thinking prob same for other Bears Yeah
So maybe put this up see what answer gets most percentage

{Ed033's Note -

Pedro Spend Poll

28 May 2017 14:06:10
Got to be between 8 and 10 if this Mexican is 3million then to get the other two will be two million for both at the very least then 400,000 for alves and prob the same for mault then the young Portuguese defender is 1million so that at least 7million then possibly wiess would take that to 9 then so I'd say between 8 and 10

28 May 2017 19:35:07
If we do manage to spend anywhere near that which I really can't see and it goes pear shaped like it did with warburton I do fear the ramifications could be severe for us, sorry for being so gloomy about this troops but we definitely need a cup and a convincing 2nd Place and a significant cut in the 39 points behind the eastenders for this to be a success in my opinion, Pedro has a massive task in front of him hopefully he's up to the task
