Right fellow bears i know were all hurting right now and it really isn't going to get any better can only c them getting stronger if i'm honest i think pedro is going to need to get some serious 💰 for four or five quality players three players for the spine of the absolute best quality out there we could get i really don't think it matters who we get rid of because if were all being honest apart from kenny and wallace no 1 else deserves to put on that shirt but i think the spine is the most important thing he needs to sort 1st what's you're thoughts my fellow bears.

30 Apr 2017 00:13:04
Any team needs a strong spine but 1st and foremost address the middle of the park! We can have the best defence or striker in world without a midfield youve nothing! We need a hammer thrower and playmaker pairing hopefully rossiter niko could be do the job but someone combative in alongside and we have a good trio!

30 Apr 2017 01:38:30
You want to build a midfield around an injury prone player who hasn't kicked a ball in six months and a cultured player who five years ago would have deserved the position? Crazy! Our best defender and best striker are 37 and 38.
We need two commanding central defenders, two tall midfielders full of running tackling and physicality and two strikers who each contribute
20 goals per season. Patched up English 3rd tier level players are not the answer!

30 Apr 2017 05:09:54
Two centre backs, two hard as nails midfield players in the Roberts Souness mould a quality winger and a striker, all top quality, either from South America or Europe. All top league players and all hungry for success. No more third rate English players. Keep Miller, Windass and Tavernier and punt the rest and hope that Rossiter can come back fit and stay fit.

30 Apr 2017 08:09:44
What has Windass done to deserve to be kept? He is rotten like the rest of the imposters that took to the field yesterday (Except Miller)

29 Apr 2017 20:59:41
Yet again today, our 2 oldest players, kenny miller and clint hill, were by far our best players against celtic! A combined age of almost 80!I wish we had a team of kenny miller's and clint hill's! Sadly carlsberg don't do rangers players!

29 Apr 2017 21:34:32
Yes - but whose to blame and why do we keep accepting 2nd best or worst?

Is it really unreasonable to expect more resistance than Ross County as some fans suggest?

30 Apr 2017 08:32:53
Sorry but Clint wasn't that great at all. Wilson has been our best player for the last few weeks and for some reason got stuck on the right side of defense when they are both lefties. Bates should have kept his place in my opinion.

30 Apr 2017 11:29:03
Hill was only overrun late on when the game became even more stretched! A wee question for you Teddyofthesouth! You say clint hill wasn't that great at all! I can remember at least 3 last ditch tremendous blocks which undoubtedly saved certain goals!

He was by far our best defender and if it wasn't for him especially early on god knows what the score would have been! Clint hill was left exposed at times especially late on because of absolutely no protection from our inept midfield! that's it in a nutshell mate! Also remember this guy is 38 years old now and was left exposed badly!

30 Apr 2017 12:38:23
Thank god Clint hill was playing yesterday or it would have been 9 or 10.Wilsons attempt at a tackle at 5th goal was shameful.

30 Apr 2017 12:45:44
But why do some fans continue to accept it.

29 Apr 2017 20:57:46
Going forward after this seasons horror show, Pedro is on to a hiding to nothing after taking over with warbs squad with 10 games to go. Thus he hasn't helped his cause in last fortnight but must be allowed to get on with the much needed cull, these players have done what they where brought in for, one alarming thing from 2 old firm games was fitness and reactions to defeat. always said keeper not good enough, keep tav, windass, Miller and maybe Wilson and holt and Wallace with good additions. Rossiter fit will be quality addition, krancjar?, would take Naismith in a heart beat regardless of previous, really hurting right now. love my Rangers and will follow on. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🔴🔵🔴🔵🔴.

29 Apr 2017 21:47:04
Why keep Windass? He is rank rotten and another who hides when it gets tough. Tavernier was shocking too can't defend and his passing was appalling. Can't feel sorry for the manager when he continually picks Waghorn, Halliday and Garner when they are clearly not good enough

29 Apr 2017 23:13:30
Bengy, to me windass will be direct and looks to go forward and remember he had not played consistently like others thru injury or what but remember 1st old firm game when he took game to Celtic on his own, tavernier maybe can't defend as well as he should but never hides and is possibly right mid rather than full back, we can't sign full new tam, time to get real!

30 Apr 2017 08:12:00
Shadow Bear

Yeah Windass had a good 20 mins in that match then disappeared. He doesn't look interested or fit and has done nothing since. Unfortunately we do need a new team and signing 4 or 5 isn't enough.

30 Apr 2017 11:22:55
The keeper's not good enough you say! He's saved us on numerous occasions this season my friend! As for stevie naismith, kyle lafferty and co, GTF! I personally don't want these persons anywhere near our club EVER again! You know why!

29 Apr 2017 20:57:39
36 points behind Celtic, which means 25 points dropped against other sides in the league. Step 1 Pedro we need to win all of the other games, and with momentum achieved from that believe we would have at worse nicked 3 or 4 more points against Celtic.

29 Apr 2017 20:51:17
I think good possible targets for next season would be, Kenny McLean, John Fleck, Graham Dorrans, James Maddison and maybe a few foreign faces. What'd you guys think?

29 Apr 2017 21:22:10
James Maddison would be a really good signing! Keep forgetting that he will be available

30 Apr 2017 10:33:36
Yeah I seen his name mentioned on twitter, nothing solid of course, would be a good player to get, but I'm sure Aberdeen will want to keep him, he's good talent.

29 Apr 2017 19:58:43
Bringing on Halliday and taking off dodoo when 2 goals down makes no sense at all.

29 Apr 2017 20:18:32
Having Halliday on the bench makes no sense either and continually picking Waghorn makes even less sense

30 Apr 2017 11:24:59
Waghorn was brutal again another 90 minutes under his belt and still hopeless, outclassed everywhere on the pitch again. hurting big time

29 Apr 2017 19:55:38
Was at the game today and earlier on before kick off King Kenny was chatting to 1 of the staff and one of the cleaners passed away Ron Pickford was the name I heard Miller had his phone out. Showing pictures of him with Ron he handed over flowers to the staff member he looked gutted before the game would be 10 times worser after the final whistle al bet we need new team ASAP or few decent reinforcments. If we want to get near Celtic in a few years. Not next year. To soon for that in my opinion guess time will tell.

29 Apr 2017 23:19:57
you never know in football. next season could be so different. lots of rumours that if venger does achieve champ league he will step up stairs and the job will be offered to brenda. if that happened i recon he would take a few of that mobs players with him. so u never know with a good few additions next season.

30 Apr 2017 00:27:14
Cmon big man do people honestly think any of that mob would play for arsenal lol

29 Apr 2017 19:22:20
Did you see Forrester and ohalloron having a wee chuckle again in the dugout when we were getting pumped and trying to cover there mouths with there hands gentlemen GTF.

29 Apr 2017 19:27:40
They won't be chuckling when they are playing with Stirling albion

29 Apr 2017 19:40:27
Hopefully they will be playing EFL one next year with forest

29 Apr 2017 20:03:50
I think we have bigger issues to address than 2 players laughing in the dugout. Are you not more concerned more about some of the jokers who played today?

29 Apr 2017 20:16:23
Bengy
Of course I'm more concerned about other thing I'm just mentioning some thing that nobody has mentioned, don't see any point in repeating stuff as for Andrew Halliday mr one of us he can GTF as well

29 Apr 2017 20:50:09
I'm concerned about the antics of some of our support today. The guy who made gesture to Sinclair and the guy who tried to get on park have set us back 30 years. Its time they morons were weeded out of our support.

29 Apr 2017 20:50:41
They are both a disgrace to the blue shirt

29 Apr 2017 21:50:04
Jaws

Your right the actions of those 2 was unacceptable and both should be banned for life. I do however think there was no need for Sinclair to celebrate the way he did in front of the support.

29 Apr 2017 19:13:06
We all want most players to leave this year but it won't happen some of them will refuse to leave as they won't get this wage anywere else just like bobo done a few years ago to them he refused to leave so he could keep getting his 40k a week I think it was he was on

So it will take us a few transfer windows to get rid of these players

But if we could get rid of 9 this transfer window it's a start

Out of all the players in the team this is what I would do keep in mind we won't get money to rebuild a full team or any kind of decent team anyway so keeping the best of a bad bunch is what we have to do

Wes - keep
tav - keep
Wilson - keep
Wallace - keep
Holt - keep
McKay - keep
Miller - keep

Other keeper - squad player
Bates - squad player
Berman - squad player
Windass - short loan to get games
Crooks - short loan to get games again

29 Apr 2017 19:37:11
Jms

Wouldn't keep Holt, Tavernier or Wilson. Also what's the point of sending Windass out on loan? He is rank rotten so other than to get a portion of his wages paid I see no benefit to us sending him out on a short term loan

29 Apr 2017 20:10:46
He has not had a run of games and before we got him he was valued at 1m from his previous club but I read he is valued at under 250k so if we send him out for games and he gets a run of games then he has a few games under us and does well he will be worth more he still has 3 years on his contract so if we loan him out for 6 months then we have him for 6 months he will still have 2 years on his current deal so we could end up getting 500-1m for him if he impresses in what ever league we can get him loaded out to also will get the wages down a bit as u said a part of that could be getting paid

And as I said we can't get rid of every player say we do get rid of all o them full clear out of 20 or how ever much there is we won't get money to buy 20 new ones it will be free transfers we would need to get and most free transfers are free for a reason not all but most

29 Apr 2017 20:22:31
Jms123

So what happens if we send him out on loan and he is rank rotten for that team? How much would we get for him then? Sorry but he is rank rotten and his level is league 2 in England. Just another poor buy from Warburton who will be on decent money and who will be hard to move on unless we say someone can have him free

29 Apr 2017 20:59:18
I would keep, Wes, Miller, and Tavernier. I think in goal we are sound with foderingham and Alnwick. Millers been our best player all year, and I think with a better defence Tavernier COULD potentially become a better full back, but only time would tell. I would get rid of Garner, Haliday, and Waghorn ect. Waghorns had so many chances to prove himself he gets chance after chance to prove it but doesn't deliver, we need an improvement in the summer upfront and some midfielders with more passion and grit about them. Genuinely feel we need a good 8/ 9 decent signings to try challenge them, hopefully King will live up to the promise of money.

29 Apr 2017 19:00:03
PC pretty much said as identified by McCoist that the players are not good enough. We may not need to spend millions just identify good players at a good price. It maybe hard though considering our scouting network being non existent. Over the recent years Celtic have always managed to by players that are unknown and sell them on for millions, van dyk, waynyama, just two and no doubt a number of the current team will harbour them a good profit. They found Larson we got Bo Anderson. We paid big money in the past for our superstars, now we can't we need to follow there approach and find the hidden gems. JJ may help, PC may have an idea but without it we are in deep trouble for years as they will get richer and stronger and we will go through manager after manager trying to fix this with pennies.

29 Apr 2017 19:46:59
McCoist said it like it was. Very factual. DK will never deliver and has to hand over, otherwise we will ALWAYS 2nd or 3rd. Tic have £6m champions league over us every year, plus they have 3 players worth £10m +.
What do we have, a full house and 0 Board.

29 Apr 2017 22:55:31
We should bring in lee moult from motberwell

29 Apr 2017 18:33:54
Lads I think our beloved Rangers are tarnished at present and look so unattractive to any potential investors. Yes DK has stepped up but you have to wonder why highley successful business men like Douglas Park and the other can't make this work. It's clear the club has problems throughout the structure. We do need to give the manager funds and lots of them very soon. Look at the youths games against Celtic over the last couple of weeks we were well beaten in both games. It's obvious we ain't growing our own world beaters. Celtic played a fast moving game with multiple players switching in and out of fixed positions. We were like kids chasing shadows.
If DK can't attend Ibrox what does that say about commitment. Let's see when the ST renewals go out how meany punters have had enough of this sub standard show.
I wonder if DK is only trying to recoup some of his previous losses then he is over and out?

29 Apr 2017 18:44:22
Mate I'm they same as you

29 Apr 2017 18:51:06
It shows the state of scottish footbal when that Rangers team can finish 3rd.

29 Apr 2017 18:56:11
That is all dave king wants his money back. Just some supporters don't understand this. People seem to think dave king owns rangers. He only has 15%. If MA had a chance he would certainly have put more money in. FACT. Yes he would cut back on many things and be wanting money for himself. But nobody in their right mind is going to invest otherwise. Time for people to demand change or either that accept utter drivel and shambles for years to come

{Ed001's Note - Ashley invested to get the money from the strips and merchandise. He has no interest in the product on the park. Even at Newcastle, where there is huge money to be made simply by staying in the Prem, he refused to invest money into the squad. The club pays for itself and gives him an extra income. All the money spent to return to the Prem was simply the money generated by the club being re-invested into the club instead of his pockets for a change. So why would he suddenly invest a fortune in a non-event of a league which offers no prospect of a return?}

29 Apr 2017 19:09:25
Well said Ed, to much navel gazing by the same old contributors to actually look at the facts

29 Apr 2017 20:06:35
You tell them ed the fat mans only interested in himself that's why he's a billionaire these people saying get Ashley in need to see he's not the answer

29 Apr 2017 20:57:45
As a rangers season ticket holder of 40 years and shareholder, i want like probably many of you, for dave king to address our supporters within the next week or so, about his plans for investment (if any) and where we are going as a football club! If he can't be here as after all he is the chairman, then he should quit as chairman because the way our club is going, we need a chairman who's committed to being here 24/ 7!If he can't take us to the next level then my message to him is move on, sell your shares to someone who can move us on and invest in our beloved football club! DK in my eyes has a helluva lot to prove, but can he, is the million dollar question! Thoughts bears?

29 Apr 2017 21:53:03
I agree supercooper it's ludicrous that we have a chairman who spends the vast majority of his time in a different continent. This isn't a job that can be done from a far. He should come out and be straight with the fans after all it was him who talked about transparency

29 Apr 2017 18:19:48
Just watched mccoist on sky sports news. Perhaps if he hadnt screwed the club for his huge salary, paid way over the odds for the likes of black etc and the icing on the cake being the penny shares then we may actually be in a better place than the sorry mess we are in now. He should be ashamed of himself. Legend. don't think so just as bad as white green easdales etc.

29 Apr 2017 18:29:17
Cant blame Ally for that get a grip of yourself

29 Apr 2017 18:44:23
Did he take the huge salary or not
Did he sign the players or not
DID he take the shates or not.
Greedy greedy man who lined his pockets like the rest. Enough said.

29 Apr 2017 19:10:46
ar9.get a grip! Great player, average manager who was absolutely committed to the club but there are very few miracle workers out there who would have done better given the circumstances

29 Apr 2017 19:19:16
He did loads of things including getting craig Gordon back to fitness and letting him go to them. Lee McCulloch must play contract and much much more.

29 Apr 2017 19:19:41
BR65 Is that reply satire?

29 Apr 2017 19:41:16
BR65

Yeah he was that committed to the club that he didn't even bother voting for the club to get investment at the last AGM. Decent Scottish premiership player but no more absolutely dreadful manager who took far more out of the club than he put in as manager and endorsed all the chancers that walked into the club

29 Apr 2017 19:51:30
Thanks for the support guys. Sorry but can't agree with BR65. I never questioned mccoists ability or committment as a player but as a manager only cared about himself and his earning ability. In my opinion.

29 Apr 2017 20:44:43
Super ally worked for nothing for a time during his managerial time i'm sure

29 Apr 2017 18:18:37
There certainly won't be anyone coming in with millions to invest. DK had the chance to get a really good manager to make a statement. Could have shown intent by getting FDB or Ranerri same as Celtic have with BR. This should have been a wake up call. Although maybe perdo will be good if he has funds. I watched the Mexican league whilst working there for 6 years. That is no easy league to win. His team was very good. But he had some money at his disposal.

29 Apr 2017 17:52:37
PC on "thin ice" given the number of scarfs thrown onto pitch / worst home defeat in history?

29 Apr 2017 18:31:37
Why is it his fault the players are pxxx the ones warbuton brought in judge when pedro bri gs his own team in if given the chance

29 Apr 2017 18:41:53
Jd63

There was no shape to the team, no tactics and apart from the first 10 mins next to know fight. He is responsible for putting a team out to play to a plan. This isn't happening and it's clear most don't know what they are supppsed to do. He also continues to pick the useless Waghorn who once again was shocking today and missed his usual sitter. The team and the same players were better organised under Murty

29 Apr 2017 19:26:38
Putting out a team he inherited the guy needs to put his stamp on things when he brings his own players in then he can be judged the same players under murty got a good draw at parkhead good but are you forgetting the same players got gubbed at dens park better organised don't think so

29 Apr 2017 17:53:48
Announce weiss, lafferty, naismith, Ryan Jack and 2 centre halfs now please.

Anybody knocks backs guys like naisy and lafferty after that are clueless.

29 Apr 2017 18:16:03
I would mercenaries

29 Apr 2017 17:42:57
Beyond gutted, as painful as today was I think it's not going to get any better in the near future dark times ahead unless we can find a sugar daddy.

29 Apr 2017 17:36:12
I know some posters will be saying "get behind the team and manager" etc.

Surely today the "penny has dropped" - there must be a clear out?

& the manager?

He was ashamed last week - what about today?

Frankly unsure if he is capable to take us forward,

Fans can't keep their "heads in the sand".

29 Apr 2017 18:22:40
Ranger, when will the penny drop for you?

We have almost no choices. no-one is about to give us £50m.

It's a long hard road ahead but considering where we were 4 years ago, were fortunate to be alive

29 Apr 2017 18:34:19
We've got to give Pedro a season. Jose paid £85m on 1 player and ther struggling for a top 4 finish. ano its hard Bears but they had to suck it up in the late 80s as i can remember so grin n bear it

29 Apr 2017 18:50:09
Manager has had 2 howlers in less than 7 days and today the team were a mess. Totally disorganised and once again allowing them as much time and space as they wanted. Obviously the manager hasn't been watching the awful Waghorn miss sitter after sitter since he arrived as this clown continues to get picked. Windass is awful and to bring on Halliday after his performance last week was mystifying. There is no logic to his tactics and team selection and the last 2 performances have been some of the worst I've seen from a Rangers team against Celtic. Sad fact is Murty who wasn't considered good enough to be manager had a better organised side who knew what system to play

29 Apr 2017 19:49:53
Better organised murty played 6 won 3 drawn 1 lost 2 better organised don't think so give pedro time

29 Apr 2017 20:06:15
Sad fact is murty played6 won 3 drawn 1 lost 2 fact maybe organised fir celtic game but the others count too

29 Apr 2017 17:35:35
Credit to Celtic, they've been superb all season. Last year we thought we could challenge them with Delilah in charge, however Brendan has done immensely well domestically. He also seems like a genuine ' mans man', perhaps explaining why he likes to pump ladyboys. Google it haha.
Sorry not sorry, had to add that in.
Well done Celtic.
Since this is our forum we will get back to our main issue. Today's starting 11 was assembled for less than Sinclair. It's clear that we need reinvestment. It's tough call as significant expenditure will take is deeper in the red. What's the options lads? Don't say bring back Ashley or Easdale, neither had proven anything during their stints.

29 Apr 2017 18:27:33
Brenda just missed out on the EPL with Liverpool. no doubt he has talent and has moved Celtic up a good few levels.

With Dalia, we would have been much closer but Celtic have reacted well.

Next year, we will get closer but no-one should be dreaming of millions being spend or winning the league for at least 3 years

29 Apr 2017 18:51:21
BR65

What do you base your statement we will get closer next season on?

29 Apr 2017 17:27:05
Hadn't finished. before I pressed 'send'. Some "supporters " let you down with their bigoted. Outlook.

29 Apr 2017 18:16:51
Correcy

29 Apr 2017 18:44:46
What is currently on the pitch is almost as embarrassing as the minority of supporters who are bigots in the stands.

29 Apr 2017 17:22:25
I sympathise with Rafbob (15.14) you hope that your fellow supporters are a credt to your club

29 Apr 2017 16:46:50
Just reading through what people say here. Need a new team. Need 2 million plus plus on players etc. Just one wee problem. That won't happen as there is no money for players. None will leave. Well maybe 1 or 2. We might get 2 or 3 free contracts. But no money will be spent on buying players. This is the way it will be for many years as long as DK is there.

29 Apr 2017 17:18:52
Murty got a draw at Parkhead with the same squad.
We are miles behind Celtic at the moment but it's all about tactics and formation.
Yes we lack quality but also we need investment.

29 Apr 2017 16:28:42
When warburton came in we had to buy a whole new squad .2 seasons later the whole squad needs replaced again and squad we have is worth heehaw . so much for adding value both on and off the pitch . says a lot for warburtons transfer dealings . utter shambles he has put the club backwards.

29 Apr 2017 17:50:47
Let's not forget for all mw faults we beat Celtic in the semi final last year. Celtic went and got a top class manager who nearly won the Epl and added no more than 3 players to the same squad we played of the pitch a year ago.

29 Apr 2017 16:28:36
Pedro sealed his own fate today by starting wth 2 up front (3 when you consider that Kenny Miller was sitting just behind) Credit where it's due, really good goal from Miller.
Pedro must have picked his line up after reading the red tops " It's at Ibrox. take the game to Celtic". Rangers have to press Celtic to knock them off their stride. (Graeme Murty) No Rangers player had that in them today. The lad Beerman made a niave mistake and was visibly shaken afterwards. I think that he's a good player and will earn from this.

29 Apr 2017 15:54:38
On a completely unrelated topic now, because it's nothing to do with football. I can't believe some of the fans behaviour at today's game?

Certain gestures, a pitch invader and objects being thrown!

Nice to see that when the football is poor we have some fans who try to distract everyone watching.

Ridiculous.

Day is a write off, move on to tomorrow.

29 Apr 2017 16:22:53
I agree, shame on Richard Gordon on radio scotland for giving unnecessary publicity. .

29 Apr 2017 16:26:52
Still didn't see the pitch invader

29 Apr 2017 15:53:54
Bringing on Halliday for dodoo was a strange decision. and how waghorn got 90 mins is beyond me

29 Apr 2017 16:17:02
Folks, Pedro has had 2 games against them and been horsed twice to the stage l wanted the fin whistle. He was in the stand and saw how Mirth frustrated them at Parkbead. I airport. t an expert but l do think that GMq got the tactics right. PCq did not seem to the. k he needed to do what the youth coach did. A ugly draw would have been better than that humiliation.

29 Apr 2017 15:45:33
Contrast the posts regards Billy Gilmour from Rafbob and Scotty 123 compared to The Glasgowranger. The 1st 2 posters consider that the boy may not have made the best decision around his long term career development. Glasgowranger clearly hopes that the youngster failes because it's not with Rangers. I don't care which club a potential Scottish talent develops with, I simply wish them all the best. If Chelsea come calling it's got to be hard to resist.

29 Apr 2017 16:20:54
It's his choice at the end of the day, I genuinely wish the boy all the best and hope he gets game time.

We need a fair bit more than a promising teenager at Rangers.

29 Apr 2017 15:41:40
Pedro left with a pathetic gutless squad However that's two games in a row we've given the midfield to Celtic by being a man short that's down to the manager We as fans are entitled to know what Kings/ Pedro plans are for a vast improvement next season Let's not kid ourselves Celtic are a good team but they are not Barcelona we can get about them with good recruitment and a playing plan.

29 Apr 2017 16:02:14
Jess stop dreaming or talking nonesense. There is no recruitement plan in tbe world will chage this. Only money. don't care what fairy stories anyone comes up with the only way is serious investment in players

29 Apr 2017 16:22:01
Hopefully that's the plan Johnnymac.

29 Apr 2017 17:01:30
I just hope that when he signed, Pedro was given assurances about the summer, because its obvious that Warburtons signings are not up to it, and he has plainly seen that now. he says in his interview that big changes are needed this summer, I hope and prey that the powers that be in the boardroom make things possible for him, if not I can't see a way forward

29 Apr 2017 18:56:40
Scotty dog no money is being given to Pedro, believe me. He will get whatever he can recover for who he sells. That is it.

29 Apr 2017 14:49:03
I don't know how many of you would agree but after today's performance foz and tav have to be dropped and we require a new right back for next season as euro teams will target that area.

also after watching the u20s I would give youth some game time:

Houston
Burt
Barjonas
Atakayi.

29 Apr 2017 15:37:40
We need revolution not evolution. They didn't even get out of 2nd gear . fitter, stronger and more tactically adept. We need major investment and bring in at least 10 new players. Not sure who would want to buy our wage thieves though
Play kids for rest of season - try get something out of last few games.

29 Apr 2017 15:48:38
Looked out of 2nd gear to me

29 Apr 2017 15:48:57
Definitely agree about playing the kids. No excuses not to.

29 Apr 2017 16:22:08
Agree give kids a chance and see what they can do this season has been well gone a while back

29 Apr 2017 15:29:21
Just watched Pedro's interview and it's clear to see that he can't wait for the summer transfers.

Saying there will be big changes gives a good idea of how the players are viewed by Pedro.

29 Apr 2017 16:56:44
Rafbob agree, it's just sad that so many experts on here are already calling for Pedro to go.

29 Apr 2017 17:20:11
Pedro inherited this squad so he has to be given a chance with his squad next season then judge him warburton has left us in this mess

29 Apr 2017 15:13:21
Its not Ped's fault, he's came in and having to use warburtons lot. Give him the summer at least to get a fes bodys in but we need funding for tht.

The players one word. Pathetic. We looked scared and powder, and we got bullied. definitely worst Rangers team I've seen in 20 years going to ibrox.

29 Apr 2017 15:26:13
Not a lot caxinha can do with this lot their heads go down to easy packed it after second goal . still not sure about manager but you've got to give him a chance and summer clearout needed can't get any worse than this

29 Apr 2017 15:34:06
In 50 years i have never seen one side that being Rangers or Celtic dominate the other like i saw today. Celtic are in a different league to anyone else however Pedro tried to go toe to toe with Celtic and if you do that then there is only one winner. Rangers needed to get behind the balland restrain celtic and try and get a goal on the break. rangers should have given the job to Murty. Now moving forward there will be no money invested. Maybe £2mill but too many poor players under contract who won't leave. This Rangers team are not cspeable

29 Apr 2017 16:25:15
Doesny matter if we sat back or went toe to toe mate we would have still got pumped, the players he inherited are pish. We need to give him a chance to sign at least a few of his own players

29 Apr 2017 14:56:11
To be honest what is the next plan here because all this promise of money etc, that team today got bossed all over the park 😡😡😡😡, to be honest what is the next move is it a clear out again

29 Apr 2017 14:55:10
Well for everyone that is happy with DK this is what we will watch for years. A shocking pathetic team. No money no investment. As much as Mike Ashley is a horrible person etc at least he has the money. Stop thinking we need rangers men this that and the next thing. Yes MA wants to take a huge cut. Accept it. at least he he would invest some money and actually understand how to make a profit. Nobody else will buy this club. DK has no interest in the club. None what so ever.
As for today spineless heartless and rubbish. Unfortunately you can't sell garbage so these players may be here unless MA comes in and strips it top to bottom.
For everyone that says I won't be back if MA comes in. we will see should they win the league how long that lasts.

29 Apr 2017 15:05:35
Think you've got it wrong it's MA who has no interest in the club, DK is gradually sorting out the mess that was left that MA was part of

29 Apr 2017 15:35:57
Unfortunately you are completely wrong. DK has no money or interest in the club. You will soon see very shortly. He wants out.

29 Apr 2017 15:38:12
The most inane post ever.
Are you so seriously deluded?
If you think Mike Ashley is the answer you are completely deranged.
King may not be the ideal candidate but he was the ONLY candidate.

29 Apr 2017 15:54:59
Well you carry on paying money to watch drivel. Continue complaining about players etc and watch a team which will never finish higher than 3rd. next year will be another disgrace supporters will leave and won't return. DK does not care. Soon you will understand. He wants his money he invested years ago and out. Just very unfortunate you can't grasp this.

29 Apr 2017 15:38:05
Mike ashley 😂.

29 Apr 2017 16:35:39
We will need to put up with this mediocrity for a few years. As we get closer to the end of the merchandising deal the club will become more investable and we will get a buyer. On the park we need to a do a Leicester, get a good few players who over perform while Celtic dip, this will happen at some point it is the nature of the game, but it could be years away. I don't know about other fans but I don't see 10 in a row for them as a big deal, what is more important is that we show patience and be ready to take the chance when they do dip. We have to remember we nearly went out of existence. We are Rangers and we will prevail.

29 Apr 2017 17:55:18
True cannon we will get there keep believing this isn't going to happen overnight like some fans think we will get there itl take time but we will get there

29 apr 2017 14:25:16
big investment is needed and i don't care were it comes from but it's needed at least 5 two million players needed

29 Apr 2017 14:56:47
We were lucky to get out of that game 5-1.It could have been 9 massive clear out needed but who would want to take any of that mob off of us shambles.

29 Apr 2017 15:53:56
Dreadful performance yes no fight in players yes need investment yes deadwood need released yes if agree let's protest outside front doors before and after next home game show king and co it about time he showed the fans pedro etc the cash we need to spend and how much he is giving pedro along with any sales from the deadwood. i have never ever said 1 bad thing about rangers football club but this is a shambles were watching and i can only see the gers turning with no disrespect to any clubs but a falkirk, dundee, livi, st mirren etc going up an down in a scottish pathetic football like a yoyo. it's about time the sfa let the young gers celts aberdeen hearts play in div 2 etc scottish football is pathetic an dull an needs a good overhaul from top to bottom.

29 Apr 2017 14:15:12
Remember pedro is a big tough guy and is a workaholic so we will be alright. So he keeps telling us. He looked a scared child out there today. At least he'll be happy for his big pal brenda.

29 Apr 2017 18:02:31
The guy has only been in the door a short time and its his fault he inherited a squad left from warburton judge next season and cause he shaked hands and was been normal in defeat doesn't make him a bad person what do you want him to do square go him get a life and grow up

29 Apr 2017 14:09:05
Well what's the board and king going too come out and say. . Kings more bothered about court cases than rangers

29 Apr 2017 14:23:00
In the long term as much as it hurts today that could be the best result for Rangers. The board now must take drastic action to spend serious money. The fools who deluded themselves that we are a match for Celtic must bite the bullet and say we need a massive clear out.

29 Apr 2017 15:30:56
It may be the best for us but its very hard to take 2 x 5-1 hammerings home and away truebluedrew very hard to take. £20m now required or were looking at 20 in a row Not 10

29 Apr 2017 15:34:17
Ally 72. The board and Dave King don't see eye to eye. Mark my words King is on his way out.

29 Apr 2017 18:25:32
This I have also heard and believe he wants out. He has no interest in the club or wishes to invest.

29 Apr 2017 14:02:00
Dave king not at ibrox today! Does this make anyone else extremely angry!

Anyway our squad is a joke and the so called tough guy pedro looks like a worried wee boy in the dugout. Apart from miller these players must really hate us putting in these disgusting performances every week. There is no way back for us now and i believe 10 in a row is a dead cert and could go to possibly even 12 or 13. Gutless.

29 Apr 2017 15:26:05
Things can change very quickly JD90 but I can see where you are coming from. Without investment I don't think Alex Ferguson could turn it around. That said I believe Pedro is the wrong choice. Tactics and formation massively wrong today. Rodgers will never experience (i hope) an easier game at Ibrox. They were all over us today and tbh I couldn't detect a hint of any fight and effort from anybody bar Hill and Miller. One good thing is that it surely must provoke a response from the board and the investors waiting in the wings. I have a feeling it is going to be a much changed Rangers team that lines up next season

29 Apr 2017 13:48:45
"They have well and truly put Rangers in their place! " jesus? Take a bow sky sports commentary team.

Almost as bad as the lads in blue at Ibrox today! Terrible, results against that lot this year.

Pedro, bring in decent players who can compete!

29 Apr 2017 14:05:28
With Pedro as manager and Dave King our chairman we might as well give Celtic 10 in a row.

29 Apr 2017 14:29:23
You won't give us anything naz
We'll work hard, pay our bills, do the right thing and keep dominating in the Celtic traditions.
Pace, power and style
Attacking free flowing football
The Celtic way

29 Apr 2017 15:30:41
Humiliation raftbob. Heartbroken

29 Apr 2017 16:04:31
Just have to support the club and hope Pedro can sort the team sheet.

29 apr 2017 13:42:29
this is the worst team in living history. . a chairman who's never at ibrox. . no money. . and another manager who can't change a game and it's there too be seen why would anyone give him money no chance dave king will back him with big money

29 Apr 2017 13:59:10
Pedro can only piss with the willie he's got. Let him build his team before you start critising. Alex Ferguson wouldn't have been able to change the game with this players. Chill out and wait till next season

29 Apr 2017 14:02:31
Change a game with what? Only 1 man to blame and he's down in nottingham he brought this dross into the club

29 Apr 2017 14:27:49
At least Pedro will know the size of the job in front of him now

29 Apr 2017 15:29:02
Pedro has to take a big slice of the blame as well lads. Look at what Graham Murty achieved at the piggery a few short weeks ago.

29 Apr 2017 13:31:28
Utter shambles this team are . the board better have something up their sleeve to get investment into this team because the fans can't take anymore of this dross.

29 Apr 2017 15:31:53
What a vast improvement on last week. It's great to see we have learned, excellent commitment. Waghorn again outstanding. A wee bit unlucky with the final result. Still, the players should be proud of themselves. NOT!

29 Apr 2017 13:24:04
Utter pish, no heart no dig shocking

29 Apr 2017 13:18:47
what a bloody joke this team is. Sumthing has to be done. unless serious money is brought into the club I think this is what we are going be like for some time to come. I know Ashley is hated by us, but at least he would make sure a winning team was on the pitch and we got into Champions league. Okay it would be for his benefit ie sports direct. But if I saw a winning team on the pitch I couldn't care less.

29 Apr 2017 11:06:32
I'm a bit more confident with today's line-up.

29 Apr 2017 11:13:27
Aye mate windass has the athleticism to close the space down quickly! Would like to see the front 3 change roles throughout match as each would give the cbs a different problem

29 Apr 2017 11:16:19
Not seen line up yet as long as hallida or garner are not on I'll be happy

29 Apr 2017
The real time live chat page is open for today's Rangers match at the below link for you to talk to each other during the match

29 Apr 2017 09:34:23
Good to see on here at long last positive posts about Jo Dodoo. The boy is a natural, play him and we will score goals.

29 Apr 2017 15:23:37
As long as he doesn't run away from the ball and 50/ 50s he can't do any worse than he already has been.

29 Apr 2017 08:41:28
Well Kenny Miller has signed a new deal so I bet he isn't one of the moaners in the dressing room. Now I presume young beerman and bates ain't moaning, Wilson seems more solid now he isn't shackled to keirnan, holt seems happier than ever, dodoo is getting more fame time, so apart from wes in goals who is left that we should care about being upset with pedro and is methods. I'd get them all on the transfer list and I'd remind them of the truly great players that have played for this club and I'd start with telling them about Davie Cooper. Prior to 2012 the worst rangers sides in my life were in the early 80's but an absolute world beater and to me the greatest player I ever seen was coop and unlike these over payed over inflated so called players we have now, Davie Cooper had no ego all he offered was skill and loyalty something missing now a days. I remember the sadness I felt when he left the club but that was nothing to the day in 1995 as young soldier someone came into our platoon lines and told us Davie cooper had died. Grown men who'd served their country with tears in our eyes for someone who wasn't a family member or someone we knew personally but someone that gave us memories and dreams of pulling on a blue strip and walking out at ibrox the guy was a hero. Now fast forward to today and how many of the current team will inspire kids to dream like that with tears in their eyes. Kids want to be Messi or Ronaldo not mackay and garner. My generation had Maradona, Pele and cruyff but I wanted to be Davie Cooper and its the same at the celtic dembele can play forever and will never be as good as jinky. Young players need to get over themselves as they are the biggest stumbling blocks in their careers which are very short anyway.

29 Apr 2017 09:30:56
Great post gary75. Remember cooper so well and all he ever wanted to play for us. Remember a cup match at Ibrox when clydebank held rangers to 3-3 draw, cooper starred, and clinched move to us. Still recall vividly drybourgh cup final goal. Thanks for brightening up a bleak Saturday morning. Now for the game today, come on guys effort, thought and respect.

29 Apr 2017 09:43:03
A very good post. The funny thing is that youngsters today think current players must be better than those in the past and when challenged mention fitness levels, athleticism, the speed of the game, passing, greater competition. They laugh at old footage and the state of the pitches, the condition of the players but most of all believe that by some force of nature each generation must be better than the previous. You'd pay just to see Cooper play. Who today at Rangers?

29 Apr 2017 15:24:38
Stop clinging on too the past. Cooper was a phenomenal player, but we pay to see the rangers not individual players.

29 Apr 2017 07:35:30
I meant players may be more susceptible to injury with this new training as players are so sensitive to change in physical fitness, not a case of saying it's the manager's fault just because I raise this point.
As I said there are totally different routines in there now.

29 Apr 2017 08:07:38
If the were to be injured because of Pedro's training being too demanding that is because they ain't fit enough. What would us fans want the guy who pushes players to get the most from those he inherited, the guy who gave them more time off than the queen and played walking football with loads of passing and no end product or the pundit for todays match who payed over the odds for third rate players who was clueless of tactics and bring on youth then when it couldn't get worse he went on gardening leave and bled the club dry of much needed money which was almost as bad as the opertunity he missed on fielding youth instead of bringing in Kevin kyle, Jon daly and the likes. Well pedro gets my vote

29 Apr 2017 08:37:24
Why is it always about this manager v another? It's a question I asked about the new routines, that crouching one must put a strain on the legs. Whether that fit or not I would think it could make a difference as players are susceptible to changes in physical routine, that is why they pick up injuries easier than non sportsmen.

29 Apr 2017 08:46:44
The players ain't fit enough plus they are out of their comfort zones so a wee knock that you'd run off becomes 3 weeks out injured its down to attitudes and being tough and they've not got it

29 Apr 2017 09:29:45
Well we don't know that, if it was that easy to run off then surely they would however it's ridiculous for people to bring Jon Daly etc into it as that is irrelevant to what my post was about.

29 Apr 2017 07:32:33
Actually looking at some of the exercises the team have been doing in training recently, jumping over hurdles and I noticed a crouching one in and out of a hurdle I think it
was is it not possible a change in training dynamics may make the plaers more

29 Apr 2017 06:15:56
{Ed's Note - We have posted a new article entitled, Weekend Premier League Preview

29 Apr 2017 03:34:08
Foderingham, tav, Wilson, hill, beerman, toral, Hyndman, Windass, McKay, dodoo, miller. my team thoughts?

29 Apr 2017 15:25:25
I'd leave McKay on the bench, he hasn't done anything to merit a start. His recent play and body language suggests he is unhappy at Rangers and if he's unhappy or not fully committed then you know where the door is. That goes for everyone.

28 Apr 2017 23:42:39
See liam boyce scored all 4 ross county goals tonight. That take his tally to 14 (i think) can't be a bad shout on a free transfer and is only 26. Surely a better shout than lafferty for example.

29 Apr 2017 15:21:46
JD90,every bear is perfectly entitled to their own opinion but i prefer motherwell striker louis moult as opposed to liam boyce! Moult has a 1 in 2 goal ratio at motherwell, which is very impressive! I can only imagine with better players and more chances being created, he would score loads of goals for us!
