HF, watching the Brighton v Leeds game we dodged a Bullet missing out on that big oil tanker Leeds snatched from us, ohhh yes, guy can hardly run looks aw stiff, think the hat was having a laugh.

29 Feb 2016 21:19:54
Remember when we were linked with hemed? What a finisher!

01 Mar 2016 22:37:39
He's merely in a more competitive league. You would all be claiming he was the new Pat Viera at this stage had he signed for uz.

29 Feb 2016 19:22:27
Had a great day on saturday, took my 4 yeear old daughter to the game for her first game. she loved it! shame about the idiot behind us in BR3 that couldn't stop swearing! what makes the family stand attract such idiots? seriously considering not taking her back even though she loved it. don't want her coming out with anything the idiot said when sh is at school.

29 Feb 2016 19:44:37
Its the football mate your goung to get all sorts of language at any game its the way it is.

29 Feb 2016 19:49:54
Am in BR3 ma self mate n sometimes get carried away durin a game. Nae excuse bit a try tae keep it reined in. Sumtimes just forget WER a am.

29 Feb 2016 20:05:20
I had the same issue last year but end of the day it's football it's gona happen mate folk forget kids are around them don't let it ruin your day.

29 Feb 2016 20:41:05
Take up flower arranging, or buy ear muffs, it's the way it is bro, or you can go to tik park plenty of empty seats with no one around except tumble weeds, lol.

29 Feb 2016 21:24:00
Whilst I agree that swearing is inevitable at football grounds, isn't the family stand an area where you are supposed to be able to take children to in the hope of avoiding that sort of language.

29 Feb 2016 21:49:57
Agreed Albertz. I think the word Family should mean that swearing is not inevitable. Unfortunately it's another reason to stop some kids getting to games. And I've been to grounds where I've not heard any swearing, so it is possible.

When in the Family Stand last season, my 11 year old was swearing at me to get him out. And I don't blame him. His language is a lot better this year.

29 Feb 2016 22:35:39
Sit in Copland f and all last year had an old boy behind me who shouted abuse at Lee mcculloch non stop, EVEN when he wasn't playing lol! I wasn't the only one telling him to shut the f up.

29 Feb 2016 22:59:05
Swearing is sometimes used to express your passion where other words fail. However, the lady sat behind me and my son must have had tourettes and anger issues. Every time the St mirren lad with pink boots was on the ball she wanted his f***ing legs snapped!
My boy knew he wasn't to repeat but we were also in the family stand. All said, the game was an excellent start to the season and the atmosphere was unbelievable which the wee man will not forget.

01 Mar 2016 08:05:32
I was only telling it as I saw it Cee, gies a break!

29 Feb 2016 12:08:07
Does anyone else think we should get ourselves a new Left Back just for cover for Lee Wallace, and give the position to whoever impresses more in training*****.

29 Feb 2016 17:04:11
Halliday is left back.

29 Feb 2016 06:23:14
Ok guys we know funds are gona be tight in the summer. what do we need . not what we would like but essentialy what and who. in my eyes no 9 a must. holding mid a must. cover in full back areas a must but realisticly who and what else. we know it gona be on cheap cheap. we got windass an crooks but what else. thoughts?

29 Feb 2016 09:24:19
We must trust MW player judgement I suppose so I am guessing he sees Crooks and Windass as his defender and midfield men.
I have never seen either, even on telly, but neither is young enough (both 22) to be a kid so he must want to use them.
I know we are shopping in a different store than we used to but they will have had a good work out in that league and if they have potential and if MW can develop it, who knows
IF, IF, IF, if you aunty etc etc
SO Davie go crazy for a No9.

29 Feb 2016 10:50:03
we have a holding mid coming up in the summer, so it isn't a must to buy one, Windass will be our creative midfielder, he could always play upfront, exactly what he is doing currently. really all I can think of is cover for tav, and cover at the back due to Ball going back to Spurs. we have cover for Wallace with Halliday, he did once play Left Back after all.

29 Feb 2016 15:06:38
It's going to be funny seeing the name CROOKS on the back of a jersey lol.

29 Feb 2016 16:55:39
Since Crooks and Widnass have signed not been near Acrington squad. Think the chairman got the hump.

29 Feb 2016 17:06:32
Windass had double hernia op and crooks scored last week.

29 Feb 2016 17:15:48
I do not necessarily agree that funds will be tight and I reckon that we will see three or four quality signings, more if any of our top performers leave.

I would agree that we need cover at full back and it really would not surprise me if we saw a couple of good quality signings, perhaps in attacking midfield and almost definitely a striker.

We have a quality scouting team that have significant street red in bringing in lower league players and developing them in top EPL players, I doubt McParland and Warburton will have any problems convincing the right players to come up to Rangers.

29 Feb 2016 18:53:49
Blue nose crooks has played every week and windass injured the now!

29 Feb 2016 18:55:30
I do think funds will be tight in summer but I would still like to see at least 4 new arrivals to boost the squad preferably more but trying to be realistic but our squad does need some more quality added for next season.

29 Feb 2016 19:34:19
A wid make an offer fur Cummings if hivs f@@k up the playoffs.

29 Feb 2016 21:30:51
How many times can Dave king say he and the board know what is required? , they will supply funds, Warburton, Weir and mcparland atnt here for a laugh,
Tommy.

28 Feb 2016 20:50:02
Again linked with dundee forward greg stewart this morning, as much as I think he's a good player I really don't think we need him, stewart is very similar to o'halloran who I rate the better player of the two, what do the other bears on here think, if we could only have signed one who would you have wanted rangers to sign o'halloran or stewart? This debate could be very interesting indeed.

29 Feb 2016 08:01:28
Would agree Stewart isn't a prolific scorer and very similar to O Halloran but not as good. Only way I think he could sign is if King, Forester and Templeton leave in the summer.

29 Feb 2016 11:06:19
I think both have very different attributes Stewart is very good with the ball at his feet with very good technique from what I've seen whereas O'Halloran has THAT pace, if it was a straight choice I think O'Halloran as his pace really brings something to the team.

29 Feb 2016 16:30:33
I think MOH has real potential, I love the wau he runs as people, If he sorted his end product in terms of crossing and finishing my god we could have a unreal talent on our hands with a potential multi million pound transfer should we choose to sell.

29 Feb 2016 17:20:55
I would expect to see a number of players that are at end of contract leave in the summer with only Forrester, (and possibly Law) , given a new contract.

In that respect there is logic in signing Stewart although I would be surprised if we didn't sign a couple of decent quality English League players with the potential to progress to a top EPL team.
