I'm really happy with all the signings this year. Anything else is just gravy.

30 Jul 2016 06:27:24
i for 1 is happy with the new players. yeah of course we need 1 or 2 more. Hopefully we do bring in 1 or 2 more to bolster squad. Future is looking bright lads. 55 coming.

30 Jul 2016 07:18:11
We need a striker and a centre half if we are realistically going to compete. Far too lightweight in both positions at the moment.

I feel some people are getting carried away, we have played rubbish so far, running around wheely bins doesn't mean we are there, , we are going along nicely football wise, but we are not champions in waiting, it takes more than lovely football to win a title, I pray we are good enough, but I'm concerned we may not have the backbone for the fight with them, as they will, undoubtedly buy further players soon, I pray that Warbs, and Dave King 👑 are well aware of the need for a solid spine, defense, etc, we have more than enough forward, attacking players, and i would have MOH playing as CF for a few months, because I think the boy can be sensational given the chance, and I hugely respect his courage in coming to Rangers given his background, huge respect, ! And he should be shown how much we appreciate that, Imo
Tommy.

Lafferty up on FA misconduct charge for betting on a game. We don't need these headlines.

29 Jul 2016 18:21:14
We are not interested in lafferty, he had his chance and bailed without getting us a penny, but now after the graft of getting through the leagues is done, he's desperate to come back, no thanks🖕.

30 Jul 2016 00:33:12
We also don't need a baby Giraffe with a lack of ability and an attitude problem! I assume we didn't actually want either.

29 Jul 2016 16:37:25
I see Lafferty has been charged for betting offences, good, that should end any and all interest in him.

29 Jul 2016 17:01:14
I would have thought taking into kings form and them Blacks betting form Kyle would fit in perfectly.

29 Jul 2016 18:21:41
TTTS - I smell a rat and BTW you mis-spelled your name.

29 Jul 2016 20:12:54
TTTS, have you been booted off the Celtic forum for talking rubbish?

Seem to be on here spouting drivel quite often.

29 Jul 2016 22:37:56
ttts, you should have added Toure's drug ban, oh sorry forgot he is not at ibrox.

31 Jul 2016 10:00:02
And, let's not mention jinky Hughes, Connell, mcavennie, hartson, and all the thousands of sellik players, and fans, who are in the bookies every day. ? let's not mention mcavennies "hidden treasure" story, hohoho, you are a very silly little bhoy, you putting a wee coupon on today, ? Crawl back in kiddo
And btw, I have never, ever seen a celtic site, I would feel dirty, but I would also feel like a cockroach, because its none of my business ?
Tommy.

29 Jul 2016 16:05:03
So much for Tom millers sensational next signing for us, I couldn't believe the nonsense about rvp, we can't afford those players anymore and I'm really surprised our fans believed it, someone was sitting laughing about it, I think our next two signings will be loans, but I might be wrong, but I think when the premier league sides name their 25 man squads for the league that's when we will try for two loans.

30 Jul 2016 00:29:21
To be fair, who the fk is listening to Tom Miller! The guy is living on another planet, I usually mute the commentary on RTV he's so unbearable!

29 Jul 2016 11:27:55
If the last two signings turn out to be loan deals what are the options?

MW will likely take the loan deals from either Spurs or Arsenal as we did last season. Unless he goes into the Spurs under 21 team I can't see us getting that out and out striker we're after.

Like our club both Arsenal and Spurs seem to stockpile wingers and midfielders who can play along the CM and CDM positions.

But the options for CB seem OK. Rob Holding is likely to go out on loan, might be a solid addition. Doubt we'll get Callum Chambers. Don't think he's really a CB anyway. No CB at Spurs apart from Dom Ball which seems the most likely signing just now. Cameron Carter Vickers may be another option though if looking at their under 21s. Shayon Harrison may be the most likely striker option from either of the teams.

Wouldn't mind a striker from the Man U exodus but if it's a Spurs or Arsenal under 21 player then it'll be just "an option", and not someone who is likely to get us will get us the goals we crave from the countless chances we get in games.

29 Jul 2016 11:58:00
I'd have Will Keane, James Wilson and Paddy Mcnair probably all non starters but let's dream a little never mind RVP value on and off the pitch as MW keeps saying.

29 Jul 2016 15:21:29
What's up with spending a bit of money rather Than tryn to get young players on loan.

29 Jul 2016 16:07:58
We can't spend what we haven't got, our club is being run on season ticket sales, our club doesn't get much to or merchandise cash, so until we sort that out, we can't spend what we don't have.

29 Jul 2016 17:18:51
Caw1, where have you been?
We don't have any money to spend!
Everyone knows it, why can fellow bears like yourself not accept it.
We are very lucky to be where we are and have what we have. Anything pulled out of the 'hat' will be bonus.
Onward and upward.

29 Jul 2016 20:22:21
Totally agreed bil72.

31 Jul 2016 10:10:45
Sorry bill, but David king 👑 and others are not exactly skint you do know that right? 44000 st sold, major investment in the boardroom, others being spoken to. ? Do you think this is Morton your talking about. ? We may have to keep an eye out, bit we certainly ain't skint, otherwise we would not have signed 9 players, or started work on the stadium. ? Why are some people still declaring us as poor relations? I know we can't spend millions at the moment, but we are far from skint, don't see anyone else in Scotland who are spending more,
Tommy.

29 Jul 2016 09:50:40
Big Lafferty in my opinion would not be a bad signing. He will do a job for us and he will give his all. And we also get to sing the song
Kyle Lafferty Kyle Lafferty
He's 7 foot and he plays the flute
Kyle Lafferty.

29 Jul 2016 10:48:08
Feel as if it was going to be laff it probably would have happened by now and MW has said again it's not someone being reported.

29 Jul 2016 12:33:07
Hope to god not! Nor McGregor and especially not Naismith or Whittaker. I for one will never forget this lot joining the queue to kick the club at its lowest ebb. We can do better imo.

29 Jul 2016 13:05:48
If we got a player better than Naismith I'd be gobsmacked.

29 Jul 2016 15:26:16
Kyle Lafferty, Kyle Lafferty.
He's 7 foot, he ran away for loot.
Kyle Lafferty.

29 Jul 2016 16:49:06
just like nearly every other footballer in Scotland who has left, it was for cash.

29 Jul 2016 18:31:18
True. However, normally it's a mutually beneficial arrangement for both player and club.

30 Jul 2016 00:31:10
He's a big pleb. No thanks.

30 Jul 2016 03:19:20
Now being investigated for betting irregularities. Definitely not what we want at Rangers. Last time round he was on the front page more than he was on the back page and it looks like we would have the same again. He can stay as far away from Rangers as possible.

31 Jul 2016 14:49:39
Jimmybear, good info mate, i didn't know he could play the flute, what i do know is he can't play football, and he is the one player that should never, ever, be allowed to put on a rangers strip again, imho, he would maybe wear the shirt on holiday, as holidaying is much what he done first time around, until new contract were spoke of, then he would try, never in a million years rangers quality, .

31 Jul 2016 15:54:11
Naismith knew if he resigned the or transfered over the cash was going in Chas Green pocket. I know a few lads who play golf with Naismith and he is Rangers daft. He was gutted at how it ended we need to move on from this position of hate when looking at these guys.
Ranges were a disaster zone and like you and me these lads have bills to pay.
Naismith. McGregor and Steve Davis would be welcomed with open arms.

29 Jul 2016 09:37:58
James Wilson and Will Keane been told they can leave Man Utd, probably worth a punt on one of them. Januzaj as well, doubt we would have a chance of landing him though.

29 Jul 2016 11:58:03
Maybe outside chance on Januzaj. Still only 21 and needs a fresh start. We could provide platform for him to display talents and move on within 18 months. Could be attractive to him.

29 Jul 2016 07:50:45
Headline of the day;
"Mark Warburton admits pigs will fly before Robin van Persie signs for Rangers".

29 Jul 2016 10:17:53
Did we not used to have a flying pig. . legend.

29 Jul 2016 02:09:28
Anton Ferdinand?

29 Jul 2016 07:28:21
God he is awful.

29 Jul 2016 08:27:40
Ffs 🙈 Better with anton rogan.

29 Jul 2016 10:12:25
Better off with a rogan josh.

29 Jul 2016 10:19:25
Easy big boy Anton Rogan that's taking it a bit far. lol.

30 Jul 2016 06:43:50
It's looking like the new striker and central defender will be loan deals and we won't get them till after the season has started as mak warburton says "the premier league teams don't come back from Asia and America till the end of July or beginning of August and that's when they will decide ontheir squads and who will go out on loan"

30 Jul 2016 07:45:47
Better with Anton Rogan.

29 Jul 2016 02:08:15
Anybody else think that next yr no matter what European Competition we're in that Warbs should begin pre-season earlier than usual seems that most teams that Scots clubs go up against are a good bit into their season, so poss bring it forward a week or 2? What's your thoughts Bears or I'm I being unreasonable.

29 Jul 2016 05:52:26
Spot on we need at least 5 games to be ready for Europe sadly as our country is so posh ratings wise we will now be stuck with 3 qualification rounds for years.

29 Jul 2016 07:17:09
Wonder who's fault that is jeez.

29 Jul 2016 12:43:57
Difficult to bring it forward anymore than it already is, especially if playing in the scottish cup final. Players currently only get about 2-3 weeks off.

30 Jul 2016 12:52:12
Mally, how can you suggest it's our fault for the low coefficient? According to you and the other members of the CR knitting circle we are a new team whose never played in Europe so, again, why is it our fault? Unless. surely you don't mean we're the same club 😉.

29 Jul 2016 02:03:25
Bears, a couple of questions, when and will King introduce a safe standing area at Ibrox, IMO this should be done ASAP, also the Stand that we were going to build at Auchinhowie, funds for this were raised by the Sons Of Struth I think? Anyways does anyone know of any progress as I think it would be great for us to go to see the development teams in action AND I would pay as I think prices would be fair and another although small revenue of income. In fact the more I think about the proposed stand the better it sounds, so please if anyone knows any info on any of these queries please post. Cheers Bears.

29 Jul 2016 16:11:32
Sorry Andy but theirs more important things the club should spend money at the minute, but hopefully it will happen in a few yrs.

29 Jul 2016 00:05:36
Hi Bears, i watched the Aberdeen game tonight. thought they should have scored half a dozen against maribor. we will need to be sharp defensively against them or we will get punished. On a brighter note the defence wasn't brilliant and Waggy and co will rip them apart!

29 Jul 2016 10:38:57
If we play our game we'll batter these mugs and all the others too!

28 Jul 2016 23:37:08
Rumours of Rangers being linked with James Wilson from Man Utd.

28 Jul 2016 22:57:01
Have to admit that the statement made about eclipsing the Barton signing has certainly had all us fans dreaming! Guess as much as we like but until it breaks were only guessing. rvp berbatov villa are all pipe dreams and the boy saying about lafferty prob isn't far from the truth. Anyway whoever it is I trust mw and Davie to know what they are doing and stick it right up brodgers and the boys in green!

29 Jul 2016 11:29:45
All I know is someone on here said that statement was said. I have found nothing online that suggests it was said, and I wasn't listening into it when it was apparently said. So for me, this could just be more BS.

Even if it was said, it has probably been misconstrued. There is every chance that it was conjecture and what he really meant was that it was his opinion that he 'thinks' the next signing would eclipse the others. Again, I did not hear it and also can not find evidence of it anywhere.

If someone could provide actual evidence that would be great.

28 Jul 2016 22:37:03
I've heard a few people (nothing official) mention balotelli to possibly be the mystery striker. Not sure I fully believe this since wages will probably be an issue but I just know that he is unwanted by Liverpool, forced to train with the academy and mcparland does have links to Liverpool, the same links which got us Rossiter.

So i think it is 50/ 50.

29 Jul 2016 07:49:52
if u listened to warbs he said he is still looking for a striker and a cen. half with sell on value, probably in English lower leagues, i`d imagine like windass or gary hooper type, so I would dismiss Balotelli, villa berbatov etc. window still open for a month so bide your time the hat will come good as usual. IMO.
